Abstract

Measurements were made on circular and body-shaped phantoms in an effort to find an optimal technique for the treatment of superficial skin lesions with electrons, one in which adequate uniformity of dose and penetration would be coupled with an acceptably accurate patient dosimetry calculation suitable for routine use. As a result of this study, a modification of the Stanford technique was adopted.
