The article explores fundamental differences in order to delineate more clearly the areas of potential collaboration between the criminal lawyer and the behavioral scientist. The two disciplines each have their more or less diverse schools of thought, and professionals each are careful to distinguish between the teachings of theory and the issues that are involved in actual events in particular courtrooms and laboratories.
