The article presents information on geothermal energy, mainly fossil nuclear energy, in the U.S. Hot ground water is the main origin of geothermal energy and its natural steam flow directly into low pressure steam turbines to create energy. Geothermal reserves are plenty in Imperial Valley of California and primarily situated on government domains. It is a low cost pollution free energy source and could economize over $100 per kilowatt compared to alternative generating systems. They are seriously developed in Japan, Mexico and Russia with a world capacity of 752 megawatts with major increases.
