- Abstract
The article provides information on the evolution and mechanical development of bleaching machine in Great Britain. It discusses the development and progress made in the machine since its revolution in 1845 that begins the introduction of the washing machine that made clothes washing and bleaching easier and faster. It mentions several people who had contributed to the invention and improvement of the machine, like John Brooks of Sunnyside, Bury, who first introduced the washing machine, R. Sykes and Bridson who also made their invention in 1854.
