- Abstract
What will the Middle East look like after there is total peace? There may come a time when the Arabs and Israelis are united in one nation. The Arabs now realize that they cannot take control of Israel by having wars. The regional and global forces do allow the containment of Israel's expansion within secure and recognized boundaries. The Arabs are no longer afraid of Israel's superiority in technology and economics. Until now security plans have been built on negative prevention zones like demilitarized zones. There has been no common interest in stopping this war. "If the Arabs are ever to accept anything less than total liberation of Palestine, a lost of psychological conditioning will have to be done." From Bulletin of Peace Proposals, 1976, No. 4, p. 313.
