The influence of the degeneration of the resonant energy levels on the photon echo intensity is investigated.

The scheme of gravitational wave detection which uses the phenomenon of light scattering by the elastic wave these waves cause is discussed when the presence of the gravitational waves can be judged by the presence of fine components of the scattered light spectrum. Estimates carried out show the possibility of an experimental realization of the proposed scheme.

The interaction of a gravitational wave (G.W.) with substances causes periodical changes of their density. These changes may be fixed either by means of piezocrystals (just as in Weber's arrangement [1], for example) or by means of the light scattering on the sound aroused by G.W. It is of great interest the utilization of substances' critical states as a detector; the large compressibility of the former affords the maximum of possible changes of their density in a definite gravitational field. They have discussed one kind of experiment in [4] (denoted here as I) in which the presence of the gravitational flow caused periodical changes of the freguency of the light scattered on the fluctuations of one of the components of the two – component solution in its critical state of stratification.

It is suggested that a superposition of trains of giant pulses be used for the production of coherent photon responses in liquids and glasses. The conditions for such a generation are discussed.

The possibility of calculation the nonelastic collisions relaxation deposit is investigated.

The scheme of a generator and detector of coherent gravitational radiation is investigated, when the energy transitions, in two, three etc. particles simultaneously are considered.

A change in the shape of short relatively weak laser pulses, leading to an apparent acceleration, was observed. The effect occurred during propagation of ruby laser pulses in Rb2 vapor in thermodynamic equilibrium at 200°C. A comparison of the theory with the experimental results yielded the modulus of the matrix element of the dipole moment of the resonance transition involved in this effect: The value of this modulus was 5 10–18 cgs esu.

A method of the free induction and echo signals excitement is proposed. The excitement is carried out by means of collisions of one flow with another flow of particles being transfered into a ‘superradiant’ state. As the result, a most intensive transition of energy from flow to flow is achieved. The form of coherent responses depends on the character of their excitement. Thus, the suggested method allows to investigate the collision parameters by the form of responses.

The acousto-magnetic resonance has been considered, when it became possible to determince a sign of the spin-phonon interaction constant and to show the possibility of the strengthening of the exciting waves.

The pulse deformation of a ruby laser in Rb2-vapour is studied experimentally. The theory of the deformation of the small-area pulse in the resonant gaseous medium taking into account the collisions is developed. The analysis of the experimental data allows to estimate the value of the electrical dipole momentum of the resonance transition.
