Abstract

The article presents information on various congresses and conventions on life science topics in the U.S. The annual meeting of the Association of Official Seed Analysts and the Society of Commercial Seed Technologists will be held in Madison, Wisconsin, from June 16-23, 1967. The fifth International Research Conference titled "Mind As a Tissue," was held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from November 10-11, 1966. The opening address was by F.O. Schmitt of Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, Massachusetts. The Second Decennial Review Conference on Cell, Tissue and Organ Culture was held in Bedford, Pennsylvania from September 11-15, 1966.

Abstract

The article reports on the man-made all plastic car called Modelle build Mobay Chemical Corp. in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It notes that the metals throughout the chassis, the hood, roof and trunk lid of Modelle will be completely replaced with plastics. Moreover, the move of General Motors Corp. which substituted the parts of its cars into plastic is also discussed.
