The article presents information on various political developments related to the U.S. The anti-Trust law recently enacted in Arkansas has been sustained by the Circuit Court of that State. In a unanimous opinion, it decided, a few days ago, that the Hartford Insurance Company was properly fined for one day's violation of the law forbidding such companies to do business in Arkansas if belonging to, a pool or combination anywhere to fix rates. The action of the Corporation of the Institute of Technology in voting, 20 to 12, for amalgamation with Harvard will undoubtedly increase the feeling of bitterness which the proposal has created among a great majority of the alumni.
