The article presents a comparison of the post-World War II industrial positions of Germany, as planned by the Allied Control Council which includes Great Britain and the U.S., and that of the U.S.S.R. as outlined in the fourth Russian five-year plan. Germany's production in heavy industry will be only one-fifth of that of the production of U.S.S.R. in 1950. Electric power production will be the only gage of what is planned to happen industrially in the two countries.
