This article presents a list of books and discusses some of the books related to agriculture, mining, forestry and fisheries. The book " The Stabilization of the Price of Wheat During the War and Its Effect Upon the Returns to the Producer," by Frank M. Surface determines the justice of the price received for wheat by farmers during the period of government control in 1917, 1918, 1919 and the effect of price stabilization on the return to the producer. The books "Outlines of Agricultural Economics," by Henry C. Taylor deals much more adequately with marketing problems and has a well-written chapter on agriculture insurance. Land tenure still occupies large space, perhaps more space then the matter presented warrants. The book "Report of the United States Coal Commission," would never have been published, if pressure from private organizations had not been brought to bear on Congress and if one of the experts attached to the Commission had not given generously of his own time to put it into final form. If any legislation results from the recommendations of the Commission, it will be forced by public opinion aroused by the present anthracite strike.
