The article offers information on the process of artificial insemination and presents the results of a survey conducted to determine difference, if any, in persons' attitudes towards artificial insemination husband (AIH) and artificial insemination donor (AID). Artificial insemination is defined as the process of non-sexual deposition of male semen within the reproductive tract of the female. AIH and AID are said to be the two types of artificial insemination. In AIH, the husband's semen is deposited within the reproductive tract of the wife, whereas in case of AID, a donor's semen is used. Some moralists have been vehement in their condemnation of AID. The result of the survey conducted on sociology students indicate that most of students were against AID.
