The article presents the 11-point program of applied action for putting science and engineering to a collaborative work for the attainment of world peace. It also features an address of H. G. Well in April 1961 at the MIT Centennial Dinner which focused on the role of science in contributing to international affairs and promoting domestic and foreign economic growth. Various international contacts and efforts among scientists and engineers show an improvement in global communication and cooperation. Among these were Conferences on Science and World Affairs and the Rehovoth Conference on Science in the Advancement of New States.
