Fort Worth Power and Light Company's new plant opened in early 1913 on Main Street. According to an article in the September 15, 1912 edition of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, the new plant would power towns 100 to 150 miles south of Fort Worth. The plant has a single smoke stack and a water tower is visible. There are two people walking near the railroad tracks and trains are visible.
