Abstract
Representatives from twelve different gay organizations from the New York Metropolitan area met on November 18, 1972 at New York Mattachine officers under the auspices of the new Metropolitan Gay Community Council (MGCC) to discuss common problems and improve intergroup cooperation and communication. The policies of the "Village voice," newspaper on gay advertisements was discussed. The Voice limits its bulletin board to one gay political advertisement per issue and relegates advertisements for social events sponsored by gay groups to the classified section in the back of the paper.
