Abstract Architectural singularity belongs to the Type II singularity, in which a parallel manipulator (PM) gains one or more degrees of freedom and becomes uncontrollable. PMs remaining permanently in a singularity are beneficial for linear-to-rotary motion conversion. Griffis-Duffy (GD) platform is a mobile structure admitting a Bricard motion. In this paper, we present a coordinate-free approach to the design of generalized GD platforms, which consists in determining the shape and attachment of both the moving platform and the fixed base. The generalized GD platform is treated as a combination of six coaxial single-loop mechanisms under the same constraints. Owing to the inversion, hidden in the geometric structure of these single-loop mechanisms, the mapping from a line to a circle establishes the geometric transformation between the fixed base and the moving platform based on the center of inversion, and describes the shape and attachment of the generalized GD platform. Moreover, the center of inversion not only identifies the location of rotation axis, but also affects the shape of the platform mechanism. A graphical construction of generalized GD platforms using inversion, proposed in the paper, provides geometrically feasible solutions of the manipulator design for the requirement of the location of rotation axis.

BackgroundThe Geriatric Nutritional Risk Index (GNRI) is a straightforward and objective tool for nutritional screening in older patients and has been demonstrated to possess prognostic predictive value in several diseases. Nonetheless, there is a lack of research on the nutritional risk associated with brain abscess in the older. This study aimed to evaluate the prevalence of nutritional risk among these patients by GNRI and to investigate its potential prognostic value for clinical outcomes.Materials and methodsFrom August 2019 to April 2023, 100 older patients diagnosed with brain abscess were enrolled in this single-center prospective cohort study, which evaluated the prognostic value of the Geriatric Nutritional Risk Index (GNRI) in elderly brain abscess patients. Data collected included demographic, and clinical characteristics at admission and calculated the GNRI, and the Glasgow Outcome Scale (GOS) score 6 months post-discharge. A GOS score of 5 was considered indicative of a good recovery, whereas scores ranging from 1 to 4 were classified as poor recovery.ResultsThe results revealed that 48% of older brain abscess patients were at risk of malnutrition according to the GNRI. The interaction between cancer cells and immune cells plays critical roles in gastric cancer (GC) progression and immune evasion. Forced legumain (LGMN) is one of the characteristics correlated with poor prognosis in gastric cancer patients. However, the role of gastric-cancer-secreted LGMN (sLGMN) in modulating the tumor immune microenvironment and the biological effect on the immune evasion of gastric cancer remains unclear. In this study, we found that forced expression of sLGMN in gastric cancer serum correlates with increased M2 macrophage infiltration in GC tissues and predicted resistance to anti-PD-1 immunotherapy. Mechanistically, gastric cancer cells secrete LGMN via binding to cell surface Integrin αvβ3, then activate Integrin αvβ3/PI3K (Phosphatidylinositol-4,5-bisphosphate3-kinase)/AKT (serine/threonine kinase)/mTORC2 (mammalian target of rapamycin complex 2) signaling, promote metabolic reprogramming, and polarize macrophages from the M1 to the M2 phenotype. Either blocking LGMN, Integrin αv, or knocking out Integrin αv expression and abolishing the LGMN/Integrin αvβ3 interaction significantly inhibits metabolic reprogramming and polarizes macrophages from the M1 to the M2 phenotype. This study reveals a critical molecular crosstalk between gastric cancer cells and macrophages through the sLGMN/Integrinαvβ3/PI3K/AKT/mTORC2 axis in promoting gastric cancer immune evasion and resistance to anti-PD-1 immunotherapy, indicating that the sLGMN/Integrinαvβ3/PI3K/AKT/mTORC2 axis may act as a promising therapeutic target.

Progress in medicine such as the use of anti-infective drugs and development of the advanced life support equipment has greatly improved the survival rate of patients with sepsis. However, the incidence of sepsis-related diseases is increasing. These include severe neurologic and psychologic disorders, cognitive decline, anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder. Cerebral dysfunction occurs via multiple interacting mechanisms, with different causative pathogens having distinct effects. Because sepsis-related diseases place a substantial burden on patients and their families, it is important to elucidate the underlying pathophysiologic mechanisms to develop effective treatments.

On the basis of the investigation on the operating conditions of the pipeline and the operating environment of the cathodic protection system，the typical pipelines and test points were selected according to the principles of universality，representativeness and pertinence，and the corrosion rate and cathodic protection degree of the pipeline were measured by the on-site coupon hanging to evaluate the cathodic protection effect.Results showed that the corrosion rate of the pipeline was significantly lower than 0.01 mm/a and the protection degree was above 85%after applying cathodic protection in accordance with the minimum protection potential and cathode potential negative offset criteria specified in GB/T 21448-2017.The overall cathodic protection effect was good.For pipelines with high resistivity to soil，100 mV cathode potential negative offset criterion was recommended.In the actual operation process of pipeline cathodic protection，soil microorganism amount and types，stray current and the maximum protection potential needed to be heavily monitored for timely adjustment of the cathodic protection potential of the pipeline for the purpose of avoiding relatively serious uniform corrosion，local corrosion，hydrogen damage and unnecessary waste of resources.

Abstract Background Previous studies have confirmed the oncogenic role of HMGB2 in various cancers, but the biological functions of HMGB2-derived circRNAs remain unknown. Thus, we intended to investigate the potential role of HMGB2-derived circRNAs in lung adenocarcinomas (LUAD) and squamous cell carcinomas (LUSC). Methods The expression profiles of HMGB2-derived circRNAs in LUAD and LUSC tissues and matched normal tissues were assessed using qRT–PCR. The role of circHMGB2 in the progression of the LUAD and LUSC was determined in vitro by Transwell, CCK-8, flow cytometry and immunohistochemistry assays, as well as in vivo in an immunocompetent mouse model and a humanized mouse model. In addition, in vivo circRNA precipitation assays, luciferase reporter assays and RNA pulldown assays were performed to explore the underlying mechanism by which circHMGB2 promotes anti-PD-1 resistance in the LUAD and LUSC. Results The expression of circHMGB2 (hsa_circ_0071452) was significantly upregulated in NSCLC tissues, and survival analysis identified circHMGB2 as an independent indicator of poor prognosis in the LUAD and LUSC patients. We found that circHMGB2 exerted a mild effect on the proliferation of the LUAD and LUSC cells, but circHMGB2 substantially reshaped the tumor microenvironment by contributing to the exhaustion of antitumor immunity in an immunocompetent mouse model and a humanized mouse model. Mechanistically, circHMGB2 relieves the inhibition of downstream CARM1 by sponging miR-181a-5p, thus inactivating the type 1 interferon response in the LUAD and LUSC. Moreover, we found that the upregulation of circHMGB2 expression decreased the efficacy of anti-PD-1 therapy, and we revealed that the combination of the CARM1 inhibitor EZM2302 and an anti-PD-1 antibody exerted promising synergistic effects in a preclinical model. Conclusion circHMGB2 overexpression promotes the LUAD and LUSC progression mainly by reshaping the tumor microenvironment and regulating anti-PD-1 resistance in the LUAD and LUSC patients. This study provides a new strategy for the LUAD and LUSC treatment.

Abstract Background Neuroinflammation is a crucial factor in the development of secondary brain injury after intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH). Irisin is a newly identified myokine that confers strong neuroprotective effects in experimental ischemic stroke. However, whether this myokine can exert neuroprotection effects after ICH remains unknown. This study aimed to investigate the impact of irisin treatment on neuroinflammation and neuronal apoptosis and the underlying mechanism involving integrin αVβ5/AMPK pathway after ICH. Methods Two hundred and eighty-five adult (8-week-old) male C57BL/6 mice were randomly assigned to sham and ICH surgery groups. ICH was induced via intrastriatal injection of autologous blood. Irisin was administered intranasally at 30 min after ICH. To elucidate the underlying mechanism, cilengitide (a selective integrin αVβ5 inhibitor) and dorsomorphin (a selective phosphorylated AMPK inhibitor) were administered before irisin treatment. The short- and long-term neurobehavior tests, brain edema, quantitative-PCR, western blotting, Fluoro-Jade C, TUNEL, and immunofluorescence staining were performed to assess the neurofunctional outcome at the level of molecular, cell, histology, and function. Results Endogenous irisin and its receptor, integrin αVβ5, were increased, peaked at 24 h after ICH. irisin post-treatment improved both short- and long-term neurological functions, reduced brain edema after ICH. Interestingly, integrin αVβ5 was mainly located in the microglia after ICH, and irisin post-treatment inhibited microglia/macrophage pro-inflammatory polarization and promoted anti-inflammatory polarization. Moreover, irisin treatment inhibited neutrophil infiltration and suppressed neuronal apoptotic cell death in perihematomal areas after ICH. Mechanistically, irisin post-treatment significantly increased the expression of integrin αVβ5, p-AMPK and Bcl-2, and decreased the expression of IL-1β, TNF-α, MPO, and Bax following ICH. The neuroprotective effects of irisin were abolished by both integrin αVβ5 inhibitor cilengitide and AMPK inhibitor dorsomorphin. Conclusions This study demonstrated that irisin post-treatment ameliorated neurological deficits, reduced brain edema, and ameliorated neuroinflammation and neuronal apoptosis, at least in part, through the integrin αVβ5/AMPK signaling pathway after ICH. Thus, irisin post-treatment may provide a promising therapeutic approach for the early management of ICH.

Abstract Background CD8+ T cells play a critical role in the innate antitumour immune response. Recently, CD8+ T cell dysfunction has been verified in various malignant cancers, including non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). However, the molecular biological mechanisms of CD8+ T cell dysfunction in human NSCLC are still unclear. Methods The expression of circular ubiquitin-specific protease-7 (circUSP7) in NSCLC tissues, exosomes, and cell lines was detected by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR). Exosomes were isolated from the culture medium of NSCLC cells and the plasma of NSCLC patients using an ultracentrifugation method and the ExoQuick Exosome Precipitation Solution kit. The exosomes were then characterized by transmission electronic microscopy (TEM), NanoSight and western blotting. The role of circUSP7 in CD8+ T cell dysfunction was assessed by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). In vivo circular RNA (circRNA) precipitation (circRIP), RNA immunoprecipitation (RIP), and luciferase reporter assays were performed to explore the molecular mechanisms of circUSP7 in CD8+ T cells. In a retrospective study, the clinical characteristics and prognostic significance of circUSP7 in NSCLC tissues were determined. Results The expression levels of circUSP7 were higher in human NSCLC tissues than in matched adjacent nontumour tissues. Increased levels of circUSP7 indicate poor clinical prognosis and CD8+ T cell dysfunction in patients with NSCLC. The circUSP7 found in NSCLC patient plasma is predominantly secreted by NSCLC cells in an exosomal manner, and circUSP7 inhibits IFN-γ, TNF-α, Granzyme-B and Perforin secretion by CD8+ T cells. Furthermore, circUSP7 inhibits CD8+ T cell function by upregulating the expression of Src homology region 2 (SH2)-containing protein tyrosine phosphatase 2 (SHP2) via sponging miR-934. Finally, we show that circUSP7 may promote resistance to anti-PD1 immunotherapy in NSCLC patients. Conclusions Exosomal circUSP7 is predominantly secreted by NSCLC cells and contributes to immunosuppression by promoting CD8+ T cell dysfunction in NSCLC. CircUSP7 induces resistance to anti-PD1 immunotherapy, providing a potential therapeutic strategy for NSCLC patients.

Background: There is an increasing demand for minimally invasive aortic valve replacement. This study aimed to investigate the safety and feasibility of minimally invasive aortic valve replacement through a right parasternal second intercostal transverse incision. Methods: This was a retrospective study, and we collected information from 111 patients who underwent isolated aortic valve replacement surgery performed by the same surgeon from January 2018 to December 2019. According to the operative approach, the patients were divided into a sternotomy aortic valve replacement (SAVR) group (n = 62) and a minimally invasive aortic valve replacement (Mini-AVR) group (n = 49). We compared the intraoperative and postoperative data between the two groups. Result: There was no difference in preoperative data between the Mini-AVR and SAVR. The postoperative ventilator-assisted time, CSICU time and postoperative hospital stay of the Mini-AVR were shorter than those of the SAVR [(15.45 ± 5.75) VS (18.51 ± 6.71) h; (1.77 ± 0.31) VS (2.04 ± 0.63) d; (8.69 ± 2.75) VS (10.77 ± 2.94) d], and the difference was statistically significant (P

Abstract This study was to assess the effect of the predictive model for distinguishing clear cell RCC (ccRCC) from non-clear cell RCC (non-ccRCC) by establishing predictive radiomic models based on enhanced-computed tomography (CT) images of renal cell carcinoma (RCC). A total of 190 cases with RCC confirmed by pathology were retrospectively analyzed, with the patients being randomly divided into two groups, including the training set and testing set according to the ratio of 7:3. A total of 396 radiomic features were computationally obtained and analyzed with the Correlation between features, Univariate Logistics and Multivariate Logistics. Finally, 4 features were selected, and three machine models (Random Forest (RF), Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Logistic Regression (LR)) were established to discriminate RCC subtypes. The radiomics performance was compared with that of radiologist diagnosis. In the testing set, the RF model had an area under the curve (AUC) value of 0.909, a sensitivity of 0.956, and a specificity of 0.538. The SVM model had an AUC value of 0.841, a sensitivity of 1.0, and a specificity of 0.231, in the testing set. The LR model had an AUC value of 0.906, a sensitivity of 0.956, and a specificity of 0.692, in the testing set. The sensitivity and specificity of radiologist diagnosis to differentiate ccRCC from non-ccRCC were 0.850 and 0.581, respectively, with the AUC value of the radiologist diagnosis as 0.69. In conclusion, radiomics models based on CT imaging data show promise for augmenting radiological diagnosis in renal cancer, especially for differentiating ccRCC from non-ccRCC.

Objective: To monitor and control mold spores contamination effectively in food (beverage) processing workshops. Methods: The mold spores are enriched and classified by microfluidic chip, and the air aerosol was collected in 2~10 micron channel and prepared on film. Finally, spore images were taken by camera and electron microscope, and spores were detected, distinguished and counted by Canny algorithm. Results: Compared with the traditional falling plate method, the detection device designed in this paper could detect 103 cell/mL mold spores sprayed in the air within 20 minutes. Conclusion: Using airborne UAV to detect mold pollution in food (beverage) processing workshop in the air is simple and feasible.

Fungi contamination is an important factor affecting the quality and commercial value of fermented milk. Vanillin is known as a safe and efficient natural antimicrobial additive with great potential value as a food bio-preservative. In this study, the microbiological quality of fermented milk of different brands retailed in China and the antimicrobial activity of vanillin were investigated. A total of 27 fermented milk samples were purchased and evaluated. Fungal isolates obtained were characterized by DNA sequencing of the internal transcribed spacer (ITS) region. The effects of vanillin on the growth of fungi were studied by plate dilution method, radical colony diameter, and mycelium biomass. The result showed that 14.8% of the samples were contaminated with three different species of fungi with Cladosporium spp. being the most predominant fungal contaminant. The study further showed that vanillin had significant inhibitory activity against the growth of the fungi species. The cell number, radical colony diameter, and the mycelium biomass of the fungal contaminant were significantly reduced by the inhibitory action of the vanillin. The study thus provides reliable data evidence that will help relevant stakeholders in the fermented milk industries to improve their quality control strategies and consider vanillin as a bio-preservative with the potential to increase the shelf-life and safety of fermented milk.

A new bacterium capable of heterotrophic nitrogen removal was isolated and identified as Oligella sp. XS68. The strain exhibited efficient heterotrophic nitrogen removal capabilities, with a low accumulation of nitrification products. Single-factor experiments indicated that efficient nitrogen removal and growth of the strain XS68 occurred with sodium succinate as the carbon source, C/N ratio 15, pH 6.0–9.0, temperature 30–37 °C, and shaking speed 160–200 rpm. The removal efficiency of ammonium nitrogen could achieve 98 % within 96 h when the initial nitrogen concentration was 421.3 mg L-1. These findings demonstrate that XS68 is a promising candidate for nitrogen removal in wastewater treatments.

Abstract Background Immune system evasion, distance tumor metastases, and increased cell proliferation are the main reasons for the progression of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and the death of NSCLC patients. Dysregulation of circular RNAs plays a critical role in the progression of NSCLC; therefore, further understanding the biological mechanisms of abnormally expressed circRNAs is critical to discovering novel, promising therapeutic targets for NSCLC treatment. Methods The expression of circular RNA fibroblast growth factor receptor 1 (circFGFR1) in NSCLC tissues, paired nontumor tissues, and cell lines was detected by RT-qPCR. The role of circFGFR1 in NSCLC progression was assessed both in vitro by CCK-8, clonal formation, wound healing, and Matrigel Transwell assays and in vivo by a subcutaneous tumor mouse assay. In vivo circRNA precipitation, RNA immunoprecipitation, and luciferase reporter assays were performed to explore the interaction between circFGFR1 and miR-381-3p. Results Here, we report that circFGFR1 is upregulated in NSCLC tissues, and circFGFR1 expression is associated with deleterious clinicopathological characteristics and poor prognoses for NSCLC patients. Forced circFGFR1 expression promoted the migration, invasion, proliferation, and immune evasion of NSCLC cells. Mechanistically, circFGFR1 could directly interact with miR-381-3p and subsequently act as a miRNA sponge to upregulate the expression of the miR-381-3p target gene C-X-C motif chemokine receptor 4 (CXCR4), which promoted NSCLC progression and resistance to anti-programmed cell death 1 (PD-1)- based therapy. Conclusion Taken together, our results suggest the critical role of circFGFR1 in the proliferation, migration, invasion, and immune evasion abilities of NSCLC cells and provide a new perspective on circRNAs during NSCLC progression.

In situ maintenance works for nuclear power plants are highly beneficial as they can significantly reduce the current maintenance cycle and cost. However, removing absorber balls in a constrained environment through an inspection port is fairly challenging. In this article, a 3-DOF dual-segment continuum robot system is proposed which is equipped with an end-effector to remove absorber balls by pneumatic conveying. Then, according to the symmetrical layout of actuation ropes, the kinematics of the single-segment continuum robot are extended, and the kinematics equation which is universal to the continuum robot with the dual segment is summarized. In addition, some special kinematics solutions can be obtained according to opposite-bending and feeding characteristics. Finally, the functions of the device are verified by tests. The results show that the continuum robot can smoothly pass through the divider plug and reach any position at the bottom of a ball-storage tank where absorber balls are located with only two segments. In a gas environment, the efficiency of absorber ball removal can reach 58.96 kg/h with a lift of 7.5 m and 48.54 kg/h with a lift of 10 m. This result undoubtedly paves the way for the in-service maintenance of nuclear power plants.

PurposeThis study was to investigate the role of different radiomics models with enhanced computed tomography (CT) scan in differentiating low from high grade renal clear cell carcinomas.Materials and MethodsCT data of 190 cases with pathologically confirmed renal cell carcinomas were collected and divided into the training set and testing set according to different time periods, with 122 cases in the training set and 68 cases in the testing set. The region of interest (ROI) was delineated layer by layer.ResultsA total of 402 radiomics features were extracted for analysis. Six of the radiomic parameters were deemed very valuable by univariate analysis, rank sum test, LASSO cross validation and correlation analysis. From these six features, multivariate logistic regression model, support vector machine (SVM), and decision tree model were established for analysis. The performance of each model was evaluated by AUC value on the ROC curve and decision curve analysis (DCA). Among the three prediction models, the SVM model showed a high predictive efficiency. The AUC values of the training set and the testing set were 0.84 and 0.83, respectively, which were significantly higher than those of the decision tree model and the multivariate logistic regression model. The DCA revealed a better predictive performance in the SVM model that possessed the highest degree of coincidence.ConclusionRadiomics analysis using the SVM radiomics model has highly efficiency in discriminating high- and low-grade clear cell renal cell carcinomas.

Cowpea, Vigna unguiculata L. Walp., is a diploid warm-season legume of critical importance as both food and fodder in sub-Saharan Africa. This species is also grown in Northern Africa, Europe, Latin America, North America, and East to Southeast Asia. To capture the genomic diversity of domesticates of this important legume, de novo genome assemblies were produced for representatives of six subpopulations of cultivated cowpea identified previously from genotyping of several hundred diverse accessions. In the most complete assembly (IT97K-499-35), 26,026 core and 4963 noncore genes were identified, with 35,436 pan genes when considering all seven accessions. GO terms associated with response to stress and defense response were highly enriched among the noncore genes, while core genes were enriched in terms related to transcription factor activity, and transport and metabolic processes. Over 5 million single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) relative to each assembly and over 40 structural variants >1 Mb in size were identified by comparing genomes. Vu10 was the chromosome with the highest frequency of SNPs, and Vu04 had the most structural variants. Noncore genes harbor a larger proportion of potentially disruptive variants than core genes, including missense, stop gain, and frameshift mutations; this suggests that noncore genes substantially contribute to diversity within domesticated cowpea.

Traditional data mining methods are difficult to deal with the high dimensionality and dynamics characteristic of the time series. Therefore, in this study, a similarity dynamical clustering algorithm based on multidimensional shape features for time series (SDCTS) was proposed. First, the feature points of multidimensional time series are extracted to realize dimensionality reduction. Second, a new similarity measure criterion is defined with the shape features (slope, length, and amplitude) of the obtained multidimensional time series, and thus a dynamical clustering algorithm of multidimensional time series is proposed without predefining clustering numbers. The experimental results demonstrate that the SDCTS algorithm improves the clustering accuracy for time series compared with other algorithms.

Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of CAD/CAM zirconia and IPS e.max Press in all-ceramic fixed partial dentures in anterior or premolar area.Methods Patients aged 20~60 years old with the lack of the anterior teeth or the first permanent molars and with 3 unit fixed bridge repair were selected. They were randomly divided into CAD/CAM zirconia and IPS e.max Press groups. 3, 6, 12 months after the restoration resoectively, clinical observation of occurrence of falling off, fracture, fracture porcelain, the edge of the restoration body and the gum performance were evaluated by the Reference to the American Public Health Association’s revised criteria. All the data were analyzed statistically.Results With the extension of time, the success rate of the two kinds of all ceramic materials was decreased. The survival rates of two groups were all 90% above and there was no significant difference between the two groups.Conclusion CAD/CAM zirconia and IPS e.max Press all-ceramic systems can achieve good results under the premise of strict control of clinical indications.

The removal efficiency of nitrogen and phosphorus is challenging in the conventional biological nitrogen and phosphorus removal processes. In this study, the modified pyrite was used as the fillings of se-quencing batch reactor (SBR) in order to improve the efficiencies of nitrogen and phosphorus removal from wastewater. The results showed that SBR with the modified pyrite could significantly improve the removal efficiencies of nitrogen and phosphorus when compared with that in SBR without fillings (control SBR). The average influent ammonia nitrogen (NH4+-N) and total phosphorus (TP) were 6.96±0.17 mg L-1 and 6.94±0.01 mg L-1, respectively. The average NH4+-N and TP removals of modified pyrite constructed SBR were 49.65±19.49% with 3.54±1.31 mg L-1 of average effluent NH4+-N and 76.20±6.55% with 1.84±0.46 mg L-1 of average effluent TP, respectively. While the average NH4+-N and TP removal efficiencies of con-trol SBR were only 34.76±11.28% and 56.28±0.11%. The mechanisms of the SBR with enhanced simulta-neous nitrogen and phosphorus removals might be anaerobic and aerobic oxidations of modified pyrite, and phosphorus retained in the SBR of modified pyrite was mostly in the form of Fe-bound-P.

In order to improve low-altitude flight security of single-rotor helicopter, an experimental model of a helicopter antitorque device is developed for wind tunnel test. The model is based on the flow control technology of the cross-flow fan (CFF). Wind tunnel tests show that the model can produce side force. It is concluded that the influence of the CFF rotating speed, the rotor collective pitch, and the forward flight speed on the side force of the model is great. At the same time, the numerical simulation calculation method of the model has been established. Good agreement between experimental and numerical side force and power shows that results of numerical solution are reliable. Therefore, the results in actual helicopter obtained from Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) solution are acceptable. This proves that this antitorque device can be used for a helicopter.

The fruit of Schisandra chinensis Turcz. (Baill.), namely “Wuweizi” in China, is a well-known herbal medicine and health food. At present, research focused on the extraction of effective chemical component and function identification. Little known about the secondary metabolism gene pathway of chemical composition. Its fruit color usually red, however, the white fruit color variation has been found. It made us interested in exploring which gene change lead to this result. In order to understand the genetic background of S. chinensis, we performed a transcriptome analysis of S. chinensis, including red fruit and skin of ‘Yanhong’ cultivar and white fruit and skin of ‘Jinwuwei’. We obtained 26.4 GB raw data (NCBI accession number: SSR4449123). De novo transcriptome assembly using Trinity revealed 92,415 transcripts and generated 71,443 unigenes. All unigenes were annotated in database. This study provides transcriptome of S. chinensis, which might be useful for comparative transcriptome analyses and understand gene expression of secondary metabolites.
