The problem of adaptation of educational space of technical university to modern market requirements is considered. There are described the results of studying the requests of higher education applicants and their vision of the success of the study. The aim of the article is to build an architecture of an information system similar to that used by modern enterprises, which will provide a combination of scientific, design and educational activities of the academic community, taking into account market needs. The main scientific research methods are bibliographic analysis, comparative analysis, methods of analogies. The conceptual architecture of the Information Support of Design Innovation Activity of the Technical University system based on the construction of a unified scientific and educational information space is described. The main task of the university’s information space is to prepare students for activities of the real market. There are determined the necessity and limits of application of the modern access control system at the universities of Ukraine, in particular for the organization of independent work of students. There is offered the way to reach the 4th level of technological readiness of students ‘and teachers’ development. The construction of an ontological description of the subject area of a technical university, the development of the application of a grid model for the description of scientific and technical information, and the determination of the current technical status are defined as the basis of the system of setting tasks for project groups in the transition to project-oriented learning. The question of the appropriateness of using adaptive case management system as a basic concept of building electronic document management system is resolved. The use of the competence approach as a mechanism of stimulating technical creativity within the educational process and in the work of researchers from the University staff is considered.

At present, the most common tools for drilling operations are those rock-destroying ones that are equipped with cutting elements made from polycrystalline diamonds (PDC) and diamond carbide inserts (DCI). Given this, it is a relevant task to study the influence of the degree of wear of cutting elements on the strength and energy parameters of the process of rock destruction. In order to determine this influence, we have experimentally investigated the cutting process involving a single cutter under laboratory conditions. The mean values of the cutting force components (circular ((Рz) and normal (Рy)) have been established at the cutting depth 0.5; 1.0; 1.5; and 2.0mm, at a varying degree of the cutting element wear (a flat of 0; 5.0; and 8.0mm). We have determined the magnitude of cutting work and the specific energy of rock destruction. At a cutting depth of 0.5mm, with an increase in the cutting element wear rate from 0 to 8mm, the magnitude of work grows from 0.06376 to 0.121 N∙m. At a cutting depth of 2.0mm, the magnitude of work increases from 0.624 to 3.603 N∙m. The energy intensity of the rock destruction process increases, with an increase in the cutting depth from 0.5 to 2.0mm, from 3.88kJ/m2to 11.66kJ/m2for a sharp cutter. Based on the study results, we have built dependence charts of the average values of the cutting force components and its normal component (Рy) on cutting depth and the cutting element wear degree. The results obtained have shown a significant influence of the size of the wear flat on the increase in the process strength parameters, which is the basis for regulating a wear degree of cutting elements during drilling. We have established the tendency towards a growth in the resultant force and specific work of rock cutting by a cutting element with an increase in wear degree. This makes it possible to determine, based on the indicators of fluctuations in the instantaneous strength values during drilling of wells, or based on a change in power, the wear degree of the cutting elements, and to predict the probability of their destruction

The object of research is the operation of the drill string in the local bend of the well. One of the most problematic aspects in this case is the establishment of its stress-strain state. This is very important information, which, in particular, is used to make decisions on the duration and possibility of operating the drill string in a given geological and technical conditions. Based on a critical literature review, physical modeling of the object of study was chosen to solve this problem. In particular, a special laboratory stand was designed, manufactured and tested, which provides: load model of the drill string axial tensile force and torque; modeling of curvilinear axes of wells with possible local excesses, based on the results of industrial inclinometry and profilometry; measurement of stresses and deformations of the model of the column and their interpretation to the values of the natural object. As a model of a drill string, a copper tube with a weighting agent was used to provide criterial similarity with a full-scale object. To measure normal stresses on a drill string model, strain gauging was used. At the same time, analog voltage values on strain gauges are digitized and transferred to a personal computer for further processing and interpretation. With the help of the proposed laboratory stand, experimental studies of the stress-strain state of a 127-mm drill string model in a local bend of well No. 10 of the Odesa deposit (Ukraine) were carried out. It has been established that the normal bending stresses that arise in this case can more than three times exceed the same values obtained without taking into account the presence of the specified curvature of the borehole axis. Thanks to the proposed experimental method, it is possible to study the deformations and stresses that occur in the drill strings during their work in wells with local axial kinks. There is no need to apply complex analytical transformations and algorithms. In addition, the model has the same physical nature as the object of study. This is an extremely weighty argument, especially in the study of complex cases of interaction between the drill string and the borehole walls.

The version of solving the relevant problem of increasing the innovative activity of engineering specialties students by organizing the academic environment is proposed. The purpose of the activity is to update future engineers and working citizens’ professional competencies and ensure transparent conditions for evaluating instructional designing results. The ways of implementing the project-oriented training principles in the technical university are presented, which will allow to actively involve students in scientific and innovative activities within the educational process and the performance of qualification work. The authors have proposed a model of the information system based on the use of electronic document flow, implemented, at this stage, for the organization of the activity process. The proposed approaches to engineering education will allow to use of student youth’s potential for the development of innovations by scientific-educational project teams and minimize the costs of ensuring the functioning of single information space of innovation-project activity.
