This research is motivated by real problems, namely that there are still many students who get low math learning outcomes because they use learning models that are not in accordance with student needs. This study aims: 1) to determine the mathematics learning outcomes in classes that apply the CMP learning model, 2) to determine the mathematics learning outcomes in classes that apply the LC5E learning model, 3) to determine the effect of the difference in mathematics learning outcomes between classes that apply the CMP learning model and classes that apply the LC5E learning model at SMA Negeri 109 Jakarta academic year 2023/2024. This research used a quantitative approach with the Quasi Experimental Design method. The sample consisted of two XI classes taken randomly, with the experimental class applying the CMP model and the control class applying the LC5E model, each totalling 40 students. The results showed that there was a different effect of math learning outcomes between the two learning models. The average math learning outcomes in the experimental class (CMP) reached 88,90, while in the control class (LC5E) the average was 82,63. Hypothesis testing using the Independent Samples T-Test test shows a Sig. value of 0.032 , which means there is a different effect between the learning outcomes of the two groups. Therefore, the CMP learning model is more effective in improving students' mathematics learning outcomes than the LC5E model, especially if the instrument used is Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) questions.

The use of coal as a raw material for power plants has a good economic impact, but it also has a detrimental environmental impact, particularly due to the presence of Cr and Pb, heavy metals with bioaccumulation and biomagnification qualities. Efforts to control Pb and Cr in liquid coal waste can be achieved by bioremediation. The goal of this study is to screen indigenous bacteria, identify, and test biodegradation on the best bacteria capable of degrading Cr and Pb. Bacterial screening is done experimentally in the lab. Bacterial identification is done using morphological, biochemical, and molecular genetic methods. Using atomic absorption spectroscopy to validate Cr and Pb biodegradation research. Biodegradation experiments revealed that the efficacy of indigenous bacteria reduced Pb by 216% (0.238 ppm to 0.11 ppm) and Cr by 195% (0.34 ppm to 0.174 ppm). The findings of biochemical, morphological, and molecular genetic studies revealed that the top bacterial strains were up to 96% related. using Chromobacterium haemolyticum strain W15. Chromobacterium haemolyticum strain X, an indigenous bacteria capable of degrading Cr and Pb, was successfully isolated from liquid waste.

This study aims to demonstrate the effect of a running and jumping game model in improving physical motor impairments in children with intellectual disabilities. A pre-experimental design method was used, involving 15 male children aged 11-12 years with intellectual disabilities, who were selected through purposive sampling. The running and jumping game model was conducted for 30 minutes per session, with moderate intensity (60-70% HRmax), three times a week for four weeks. Data collection involved measuring motor skill development, namely running speed and jump height, between pretest and posttest using a 40-meter run test and vertical jump test. Data analysis was conducted using a paired sample t-test with a 5% confidence level. The results showed a significant difference in running speed between pretest and posttest (8.98±0.07 vs. 7.66±0.09 seconds; p=0.001). Similarly, jump height analysis showed a significant difference between the pretest and posttest (21.57±0.98 vs. 31.43±1.72 cm; p=0.001). This proves that the running and jumping game model effectively improves motor skills impairments in children with intellectual disabilities.

Corona virus adalah virus RNA, terutama menyebabkan penyakit pernapasan dan/atau enterik dan ditemukan pada banyak spesies hewan, termasuk hewan liar, hewan peliharaan, dan manusia. Covid 19 adalah corona virus pada manusia yang sangat menular dan saat ini sedang mewabah di seluruh dunia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeteksi kasus infeksi corona virus pada hewan kesayangan. Penelitian didahului dengan screening hewan yang akan dideteksi. Peneguhan diagnosis infeksi corona dilakukan dengan pemeriksaan hematologi, dan kimia darah. Sebanyak 9 pasien anjing hasil screening dengan gejala anoreksia, muntah, diare, kelemahan dipilih untuk dideteksi adanya infeksi Canine Corona Virus (CCoV) dengan Rapid test antigen CCoV. Sebanyak 10 pasien kucing dengan gejala anoreksia, kekurusan, diare, demam, ascites dipilih untuk dideteksi adanya infeksi Feline Corona Virus (FCoV) dengan rapid test antigen dan antibodi FCoV. Deteksi terhadap infeksi Covid 19 dilakukan terhadap 9 pasien anjing (5 sehat dan 4 dengan problema respirasi) dan 10 pasien kucing (5 sehat dan 4 dengan problema respirasi) dengan gejala anoreksia, demam, batuk, pilek menggunakan rapid test antibodi IgG dan IgM dan antigen Covid 19. Hasil deteksi dijumpai 1 sampel anjing positif Ag CCoV, 9 sampel kucing positif Ab FCoV, dan 1 sampel kucing positif Ab IgG Covid 19. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa di wilayah Yogyakarta dan sekitarnya telah ditemukan kasus infeksi corona virus, baik CcoV pada anjing, FcoV pada kucing, maupun Covid 19 pada kucing. Dari hasil penelitian ini disarankan utuk lebih meningkatkan tindakan pencegahan, dan melakukan terapi dan isolasi terhadap hewan sakit.

This study uses electrocoagulation to investigate reducing heavy metal content in wastewater from discharging spent batteries. ICP-OES analysis shows that heavy metals exceed the environmental water standard. The electrocoagulation procedure was conducted within a reactor with a 500 mL volume and a rectifier with a 5 A current capacity. Three types of electrode material combinations were used: iron (Fe) and aluminium (Al) as well as Fe-Fe, Al-Al, and Fe-Al pairs with 1 cm in the distance by parallel monopolar cells. Alternating current was used with 30, 40, and 50 A/m2 current density. The best result shown in the Fe-Al electrode pair combination system at 40 A/m2 for 30 min contact time and removal efficiencies for Co, Cd, Ni, Zn, and As is 98.76, 90.73, 99.32, 97.93, and 97.78%, respectively, while for Hg it is 31.84%, even though only Cd is above the standard limit. The heavy metal bearing was confirmed using SEM-EDS in the floc and the precipitate residue. The dissolved electrode materials and electrical energy consumed are 0.32 g and 0.109 kWh/m3, respectively. This method can be a good alternative for treating wastewater compared to direct current electrocoagulation, where the electrode and energy will be less consumed.

This review synthesizes current literature to examine how AI technologies contribute to the cultivation of computational thinking skills among students of various ages and educational levels. Furthermore, it investigates the role of AI in bolstering students' self-efficacy confidence in one's ability to achieve goals in learning computational concepts. By analyzing empirical studies and educational interventions, this review identifies key mechanisms through which AI supports the development of these critical skills. Insights from this synthesis underscore the potential of AI to transform educational paradigms, providing opportunities for personalized learning, adaptive feedback, and collaborative problem-solving. The findings highlight implications for educators, policymakers, and researchers aiming to leverage AI effectively in educational settings to foster computational thinking and enhance students' self-efficacy, thereby preparing them for future challenges in a digital age.

In today's swiftly changing digital realm, social media has emerged as a pervasive means of communication, yet it has also fostered the rise of cyberbullying, especially among young demographics. This research strives to develop an application that assesses public sentiment on Instagram regarding cyberbullying instances, categorizing sentiments as positive, negative, or neutral. Drawing data from Instagram accounts such as kumparandotcom, merdekadotcom, and okezonedotcom, the approach combines lexicon-based text labeling and sentiment analysis employing Sentistrength. Findings demonstrate the method's effectiveness, achieving accuracy, precision, and recall rates exceeding 85% while offering precise visualization of predictions. This study contributes to combatting cyberbullying, aiming to improve victims' mental well-being by providing clearer insights into social sentiment. The dataset comprises 4500 comments collected through web crawling, categorized into positive (735 entries), negative (2478 entries), and neutral (1288 entries) sentiments. The evaluation highlights the commendable performance of Sentistrength, achieving the highest accuracy at 93.85%.

This study aimed to characterize fecal sludge (FS) combined with sawdust (SD) as non-charcoal briquettes. The combination consists of var.1 (FS 75% : SD 25%), var.2 (FS 50% : SD 50%), and var.3 (FS 25% : SD 75%). Fecal sludge was obtained from the sludge drying bed of a fecal sludge treatment plant (FSTP) in Malang City, and sawdust was obtained from the furniture workshop. Labor scale briquettes were produced, measured and analyzed the calorific value (ASTM D 5865-01), proximate analysis (SNI 06-3730-1995 and SNI 01-6235-2000), sulfur (ASTM D3177), and density (SNI 8021-2020). The characteristic results the moisture content 3.26%-7.57%, volatile matter 48.68%-68.97%, ash content 12.02%-32.97%, fixed carbon 11.44%–26.62%, calorific value 4,237.78–5.158.64 cal/g, sulfur 0.23%–0.41%, and density 0.50-0.68 (g/cm3). Compared with pure fecal sludge briquettes, the addition of sawdust increased the calorific value of fecal sludge briquettes by up to 32% and decreased ash content by up to 40%. All variations met the standard of SNI 8021:2020, except for the density for var.2 and var 3. Based on MCA, the best variation is var.2 with a score of 45 and requires modification for density to meet the standard of SNI 8021:2020.

Coastal communities have empirically utilized and proven the medicinal properties of mangrove plants. The objective of the study was to determine the species diversity of mangrove plants and their use as herbal medicine on the coast of Lampung Timur, Sumatra, Indonesia. Mangrove plant diversity was obtained through vegetation analysis and diversity index calculation. The use of mangroves as medicine was obtained through interviews and descriptive comparative analysis. The study revealed that the mangrove forest located on Lampung Timur Coastal comprises 22 species from 12 families. Out of these 22 species, 12 are true mangroves, and the remaining 10 are mangrove associates. Among the 12 true mangroves, the majority (10 species) are major mangroves, while the other two are minor. The diversity index of the Lampung Timur mangrove forest is categorized as moderate (H'= 1.9580). The use of mangrove plants as herbal medicine persists in the Lampung Timur Coastal community. Among the users of mangrove herbal medicine, the majority (55.71%) are from the older generation. Additionally, 64% of users are male, 57.37% are categorized as low-income, and 60.12% identify as Javanese based on ethnicity. The community uses various plant species for medicinal purposes. Avicennia marina is used as an antiseptic, anti-histamine, and source of vitamins. Acanthus ilicifolius is used as an anti-rheumatism and muscle ache medicine/analgesic. Rhizophora apiculata is used as an antipyretic, R. mucronata is used to increase stamina/vitality, and Soneratia caseolaris is used as an anti-cholesterol and anti-oxidant.

This study aimed to investigate the removal of tartrazine dye & tetracycline antibiotic and hydrogen (H2) production simultaneously through the hybrid electrocoagulation-photocatalytic process using g-C3N4/TiO2 nanotube arrays (TiNTAs) nanocomposite. The g-C3N4/TiNTAs was used as the photocatalyst. The melamine as the precursor of g-C3N4 was varied to obtain the optimal loading on the removal of tartrazine dye & tetracycline antibiotic and hydrogen (H2) production simultaneously. The integrated acrylic photoreactor was equipped with two 250-W mercury lamps. The nanotubular morphology of TiNTAs and nanostructure features of g-C3N4/TiNTAs were examined using FESEM/EDX and HR-TEM/SAED. The XRD patterns indicated the composition of TiNTAs, confirming the presence of anatase and rutile crystalline phases. UV-Vis DRS also showed a redshift in the composite absorbance and a reduced bandgap with g-C3N4 introduction. The results showed that when tartrazine and tetracycline were treated simultaneously, tartrazine was more dominantly degraded compared to tetracycline. In mixed pollutant system condition, the H2 production increased by 17.0% and 41.1% compared to single pollutant system of tartrazine and tetracycline, respectively. The photocatalyst used in the hybrid process was the g-C3N4/TiNTAs (3 g) which provide the optimum H2 production.

This research aims to describe the validity of STEM-CT-based textbooks in improving multi-representation abilities in MTs students. This study used the Research and Development (R&D) method using the 4D model, which consists of four stages, i.e., Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. However, this study only discussed preparing textbooks' Define, Design, and Develop stages. The research participants were teachers of the Science MGMP in Banyuwangi. The data collection techniques used in this research were interviews, questionnaires, and validation sheets. The analysis used in this research was descriptive and qualitative. The data processing results for STEM-CT-based textbooks to improve multi-representational abilities in MTs students obtained a validity value of 82.86 in the very valid or usable category. The validation results showed that the STEM-CT-based textbooks developed could be used for classroom learning to improve students' multi-representation abilities.

The effect of ionospheric delay on the ground-based augmentation system under normal conditions can be mitigated by determining the value of the nominal ionospheric gradient (σvig). The nominal ionospheric gradient is generally obtained from Continuously Operating Reference Stations data by using the spatial single-difference method (mixed-pair, station-pair, or satellite-pair) or the temporal single-difference method (time-step). The time-step method uses only a single receiver, but it still contains ionospheric temporal variations. We introduce a corrected time-step method using a fixed-ionospheric pierce point from the geostationary equatorial orbit satellite and test it through simulations based on the global ionospheric model. We also investigate the effect of satellite paths on the corrected time-step method in the region of the equator, which tends to be in a more north–south direction and to have less coverage for the east–west ionospheric gradient. This study also addresses the limitations of temporal variation correction coverage and recommends using only the correction from self-observations. All processes are developed under simulations because observational data are still difficult to obtain. Our findings demonstrate that the corrected time-step method yields σvig values consistent with other approaches.

As an ancient Indonesian art, Batik has been recognized by the United Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). Batik is one of the original handicrafts in Indonesia. This research explores three main issues of Bakaran batik legend: community leaders’ viewpoint in Juana, Pati Regency; aspects of context and implicatures; and coherences among themes, visual elements, and images. A qualitative method was conducted in this research. It was conducted in February-April 2022 with a case study at Bakaran Juana Pati district. Data collection techniques were employed through in-depth interviews, non-participatory observation, and document analysis. Data was collected using observations and interviews with eight informants. The data was analyzed using pragmatics. The findings revealed that Bakaran batik has its uniqueness explicitly in its patterns. Numerous designs in Bakaran batik patterns are associated with the legend of Nyai Ageng Danowati, a Majapahit Kingdom’s Batik expert figure who escaped from Majapahit and then lived in Bakaran village Juana district, Pati Regency. It implicitly has legendary aspects when analyzed in terms of possible patterns. Bakaran village’s legendary patterns include the Kembang Druju, the Limaran, the Gandrung, and the Magel Ati. The legend pattern’s context is typically connected with the legend of the Batik figure, Nyai Ageng Danowati, and the implicature of the legendary pattern is related to the moment of Nyai Ageng Danowati for spending her life while she was on the escapement. The visual elements and the image of the legend motif are coherent, and the visual form of the Motif theme is relevant to Nyai Danowati’s life story.

Rendahnya kemampuan visualisasi siswa dalam materi geometri berkontribusi terhadap rendahnya pemahaman konsep matematis siswa perlu mendapatkan perhatian dari berbagai pihak. Berbagai alternatif teknologi yang saat ini seperti augmented reality dapat menjadi salah satu pilihan yang tepat untuk membantu visualisasi geometri. Riset ini akan memfokuskan pada peningkatan kemampuan visualisasi dan pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi geometri melalui penggunaan augmented reality. Desain pengembangan augmented reality menggunakan ADDIE. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VIII yang sedang mempelajari materi kubus dan balok sebanyak 40 siswa. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan 5 masalah yang dapat mengukur pemahaman dan visualisasi geometri siswa. Analisis data ini akan memberikan deskripsi lengkap bagaimana tahapan pelaksanaan pengembangan dengan ADDIE melalui tahapan analisis, desian, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ketertarikan siswa pada augmented reality telah mendorong mereka untuk belajar lebih lama karena visualisasi yang menarik sehingga siswa selalu berkeinginan untuk belajar. Intensitas pembelajaran yang tinggi dari siswa telah membantu meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep geometri pada waktu yang sama. Keinginan siswa untuk belajar lebih lama, dan mengeksplorasi materi sangat berkontribusi terhadap degradasi paradigma negatif matematika yang selama ini ada. The low visualization ability of students in geometry material contributes to the low understanding of mathematical concepts. Students need attention from various parties. Various current alternative technologies such as augmented reality can be the right choice to help visualize geometry. This research will focus on improving students' visualization abilities and understanding of concepts in geometry material through the use of augmented reality. Augmented reality development design using ADDIE. The subjects of this research were 40 students in class VIII who were studying cubes and blocks. This research instrument uses 5 problems that can measure students' understanding and visualization of geometry. This data analysis will provide a complete description of the stages of implementing development with ADDIE through the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The results of the research can be concluded that students' interest in augmented reality has encouraged them to study longer because of the attractive visualization so that students always want to learn. The high learning intensity of students has helped improve the ability to understand geometric concepts at the same time. Students' desire to study longer and explore the material greatly contributes to the degradation of the negative paradigm of mathematics that currently exists.

Numerasi merupakan kemampuan yang diperlukan dalam dunia pendidikan saat ini. Salah satu kemampuan yang mendukung numerasi adalah representasi matematis. Namun dalam hal ini masih ditemukan masalah terkait representasi matematis. Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa dalam memecahkan masalah numerasi konten aljabar berdasarkan gender. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari empat siswa SMA Negeri 1 Mojosari, yaitu 2 siswa laki-laki dan 2 siswa perempuan. Tahapan penelitian ini yaitu pemberian masalah numerasi aljabar pada siswa dan penentuan subjek penelitian berdasarkan gender serta hasil tes masalah numerasi aljabar. Kemudian dilakukan wawancara dengan subjek terpilih. Triangulasi data yang dilakukan untuk uji keabsaan data ialah pemberian tes masalah numerasi aljabar dan wawancara pada waktu yang berbeda. Hasil penelitian ini merupakan deskripsi tahapan pemecahan masalah dari siswa laki-laki dan perempuan. Diperoleh hasil siswa laki-laki dan siswa perempuan menggunakan representasi verbal pada tahap memahami masalah dan tahap merencanakan strategi. Terdapat perbedaan siswa laki-laki menggunakan representasi simbolik, visual, dan verbal pada tahap melaksanakan strategi, sedangkan siswa perempuan hanya menggunakan representasi simbolik dan verbal. Pada tahap memeriksa kembali siswa laki-laki dan siswa perempuan menggunakan representasi verbal. Numeracy is a necessary skill in today's education. One of the skills that support numeracy is mathematical representation. However, in this case there are still problems related to mathematical representation. This descriptive qualitative research aims to describe students' mathematical representation ability in solving numeracy problems based on gender. The research subjects consisted of four students of SMA Negeri 1 Mojosari, namely 2 male students and 2 female students. The stages of this research are giving algebraic numeracy problems to students and determining research subjects based on gender and algebraic numeracy problem test results. Then an interview was conducted with the selected subject. Data triangulation carried out to test the validity of the data is the administration of algebraic numeracy problem tests and interviews at different times. The results of this study are a description of the problem solving stages of male and female students. The results obtained from male students and female students using verbal representations at the stage of understanding the problem and the stage of planning the strategy. There are differences in male students using symbolic, visual, and verbal representations at the strategy implementation stage, while female students only use symbolic and verbal representations. At the stage of checking back male students and female students use verbal representations.

Currently, climate change poses a threat to agriculture, including in the Bengawan Solo watershed. This study aims to explore farmers' perceptions of climate change and understand the adaptations they undertake. The study was conducted in Mejuwet Village, Sumberrejo Subdistrict, Bojonegoro Regency, using qualitative. This study involved six informants, consisting of three farmers and three farm laborers. The selection of informants was based on the criterion of having more than ten years of experience in farming. Data was collected using in-depth interview and observation. Subsequently, the data were analyzed using an interactive model. The study indicates that farmers have knowledge of and can articulate the climate changes they have encountered, albeit with some limitations in understanding, and they actively participate in adaptation efforts. Farmer adaptation encompasses technical modifications like establishing planting schedules and methods, and choosing high-quality varieties. Cultural adaptation encompasses traditions like the wiwitan ceremony. Social adaptation involves using social connections and prioritizing investments in children's schooling. Lastly, economic adaptation involves broadening job opportunities and liquidating assets.

Indonesia government sets a minimum competency assessment to prepare students in Indonesia for the 21st century and one of thinking skill that students must has been critical thinking skills. This study aims to develop an instrument test to measure critical skill that students have which are which followed by the minimum competency assessment for elasticity and Hooke’s Law high secondary level. Furthermore, the instrument was developed on a research and development model and based on the development of an 8 steps test instrument by Mc Entire. The instrument test was validated by material experts who had been analyzed using Aiken V. This instrument tested on senior high school students and categorized as having a high reliability. Based on this, the measurement critical of thinking which is characterized by assessment competency minimum on elasticity and Hooke's law, in general can be done with this instrument. This research is beneficials as character-based essay tests to enhance critical thinking skills in high school students, focusing on elasticity and Hooke's law. It's intended as a tool to develop and refine these essential skills required for minimum competency assessments.

The use of high temperatures in conventional liquid arenga sugar processing can trigger the Maillard reaction, which causes some of the nutritional content of liquid arenga sugar to decrease. Therefore, liquid arenga sugar processing needs to be processed below 100 °C, using the vacuum evaporator process. The evaporation rate in the previously developed liquid arenga sugar processing technology is still lower than the conventional technology, which is due to the unoptimized temperature and vacuum pressure settings. In this study, a number of experiments were carried out with the aim of investigating the vacuum pressure and temperature that has the optimum evaporation rate. By utilizing the venturi effect, it can maintain vacuum conditions during the experiment. Data acquisition starts when the sample is boiling and finishes when the sample mass remains at 20%. The temperature variants comprise 60, 70, and 80 °C. While the vacuum pressure variants were 0.4 bar(-0.6 gauge), 0.3 bar(-0.7 gauge), and 0.2 bar(-0.8 gauge). Based on the conducted experiments, at a vacuum pressure of 0.3 bar(-0.7 gauge), the temperature variable dominantly affects the evaporation rate. Variant C3, at a temperature of 80 °C and a vacuum pressure of 0.2 bar(-0.8 gauge), showed better performance than the other variants. The peak value of mass loss of 7.18 kg and the peak value of mass reduction percentage of 73.12% represented it. Based on the vacuum pressure and temperature conditions of variant C3, it is estimated that processing 10 kg of liquid arenga sugar takes 2 h and 17 min, there was a reduction of almost 80% from the previous process which took 9 h 20 min.

This study examines the concepts of Interaction and Mapping Interaction Research in Second Language Learning in the Classroom: Content Analysis Based on Rod Ellis's "Language Teaching Research and Language Pedagogy." The study applies a qualitative approach with a literature review design, utilizing data collection techniques such as documentation and literature review, followed by content analysis. This study indicates that Rod Ellis discusses the abilities involved in interaction, employing a sociocultural theory perspective to examine the development of second language learning. This theory emphasizes microgenetic and quasi-experimental studies on language learning through social interaction and internal learner growth. Rod Ellis also studies how classroom input and interaction improve second language learning using interactionist-cognitive theory, which emphasizes the function of interaction in delivering input that learners inwardly analyze. This perspective draws upon research employing descriptive/exploratory approaches.

One of the new points stipulated in Law Number 23 of 2014 Concerning Regional Government is the affirmation of regional rights to establish regional policies in carrying out government affairs that are within their jurisdiction, regional rights. In the development of this regional policy, the joint jurisdictional agreement between the central and regional governments is a fundamental thing that must be considered by regional decision-makers. Regarding the abolition of regional policies, Law Number 23 of 2014 Concerning Regional Government, regulates the cancellation of a regional policy carried out by the central government, while Law Number 30 of 2014 Concerning Government Administration, regulates the cancellation on a form of a regional policy, particularly a decision to cancel local regulations on special regions. The head is canceled by the decision-making officials, either by a higher-ranking decision-making official or by court order. The inconsistency of these two regulations, in practice across regions, can lead to legal uncertainty, especially for regional policymakers.

Background: Over the past decade, private investments in health care including hospital have grown significantly, more than doubling. As the number of hospitals in Indonesia increases, a competitive business environment develops. Identifying hospital market structure can help various stakeholders to optimize the hospital's performance. Aims: This study analyzed the market structure and concentration of the hospital industry in Indonesia. Methods: This study used hospital characteristics data from Ministry of Health of Indonesia that retrieved in October 2020. Market concentration is determined by the number of industry players operating in a market, the distribution of services, and the types of services offered. The hospital market concentration was identified by measuring the Concentration Ratio (CR) and the Herfindahl–Hirschman index (HHI). The legal events that happened to Ferdy Sambo and the Supreme Court’s decision in the cassation triggered emotional reactions and various opinions among the public, especially on social media sites such as Xapps. Some comments reflect people’s concerns about fairness in the legal system. They doubted the integrity of legal institutions or believed that decisions were unfair or in line with vested interests. This research aims to analyze public perceptions of Supreme Court decisions. The research process includes data collection, preprocessing, labeling, weighting, classification using Support Vector Machine and Naïve Bayes, and performance evaluation using a confusion matrix. A dataset of 624 was taken from X apps using the Twitter scraping technique. The lexicon method is used for data labeling, dividing the data into positive, negative, and neutral classes. The analysis results show 46 tweets categorized as positive sentiment, 133 tweets categorized as negative sentiment, and 422 tweets categorized as neutral sentiment. Based on testing with a data ratio of 80:20, both SVM and NB methods show good performance. The SVM criteria showed an accuracy of 0.84, precision of 0.61, recall of 0.78, and f1-score of 0.66, while the NB criteria showed an accuracy of 0.73, precision of 0.37, recall of 0.57, and f1-score of 0.35.

Nahwu Wadhih is one of the most widely used Arabic grammar books among beginner Arabic language learners. Therefore, it is essential to deeply understand and study the book's background, objectives, advantages, and disadvantages. This study aims to describe the author's biography, history, and overview of the book Nahwu Wadhih First Juz by 'Ali Al-Jarim and Musthafa Amin and identify it in terms of the book's objectives, advantages, and disadvantages. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the type of library research with the book Nahwu Wadhih First Juz as the primary data and several books and scientific journals as secondary data. The data collection technique was carried out using the documentation method, which was then analyzed using the 3 steps of the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model: data condensation, data display, and conclusions drawing. The result of this study is that the book of Nahwu Wadhih First Juz is a book for elementary school, which is the work of 2 experts in Egypt, namely Dr. 'Ali Al-Jarim and Dr. Musthafa Amin. This book contains basic rules in Arabic that aim to help beginners learn the rules of Arabic properly and correctly. This book has several advantages but is also inseparable from its shortcomings. Further research could be conducted to study the effectiveness of using this book in the Arabic language learning process in different educational institutions.

Minerals containing TiO2 are common in Indonesia, such as ilmenite in iron sand deposits scattered along the country's coasts. Ilmenite is an important source of titanium. One method for making TiO2 from ilmenite is by solubilizing both the Fe and Ti elements in HCl and then immediately hydrolyze the Ti. The leaching of low-grade ilmenite (ground to 0.177-0.149 mm) is studied kinetically by HCl in a stirred reactor. The research was conducted using the caustic fusion method followed by HCl leaching. The leaching reaction kinetics at the optimum conditions are analyzed using response surface methodology (RSM) with a second-order polynomial equation model and SSE with the shrinking core model (SCM). The results showed that HCl concentration and leaching time were directly proportional to the leached titanium concentration. In contrast, the leaching temperature was inversely proportional. The optimum operating conditions were obtained at a temperature of 30 °C, 9 M HCl, and 120 min of leaching time. The shrinking core model is a better representation of the kinetics than RSM with a second-order polynomial equation model. Based on SCM, the rate of the leaching reaction of titanium from low-grade ilmenite is controlled by diffusion through the ash layer.

In order to fulfill the demand for high energy and capacity, an electrode with high-voltage capability, namely LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 (LNMO) that has an operating potential of up to 4.7 V vs Li/Li+, is currently becoming popular in Li-ion battery chemistries. This research produced LNMO by using a solid-state method with only one-step synthesis route to compare its electrochemical performance with different lithium sources, including hydroxide (LNMO-LiOH), acetate (LNMO-LiAce), and carbonate (LNMO-LiCar) precursors. TGA/DSC was first performed for all three sample precursors to ensure the optimal calcination temperature, while XRD and SEM characterized the physical properties. The electrochemical measurements, including cyclic voltammetry and charge-discharge, were conducted in the half-cell configurations of LNMO//Li-metal using a standard 1 M LiPF6 electrolyte. LNMO-LiOH samples exhibited the highest purity and the smallest particle size, with values of 93.3% and 418 nm, respectively. In contrast, samples with higher impurities, such as LNMO-LiCar, mainly in the form of LixNi1-xO (LiNiO), displayed the largest particle size. The highest working voltage possessed by LNMO-LiOH samples was 4.735 V vs Li/Li+. The results showed that LNMO samples with LiNiO impurities would affect the reaction behavior that occurs at the cathode-electrolyte interface during the release of lithium-ions, resulting in high resistance at the battery operations and decreasing the specific capacity of the LNMO during discharging. The highest value, shown by LNMO-LiOH, was up to 92.75 mAh/g. On the other side, LNMO-LiCar only possessed a specific capacity of 44.57 mAh/g, indicating a significant impact of different lithium sources in the overall performances of LNMO cathode.

The validity of a marriage is the fulfillment of the pillars and conditions of marriage as stipulated in Islamic law. One of the pillars currently being discussed is the online Ijab and Qabul (marriage contract), considering the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been much news about online marriage ceremonies due to various constraints. Moreover, technology is becoming increasingly advanced and evolving, making human tasks easier. The aim of this study is to examine the legality of online marriage contracts that occurred during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research uses a qualitative research method with a library research type, referencing journals, articles, and books related to the main theme of online marriage contracts. All references, including legal and non-legal sources, are presented and then analyzed carefully. Scholars and fiqh experts have provided arguments about the validity of marriage through online contracts. According to the scholars, an online marriage contract is valid if what is meant by one assembly is one time, not one place. Thus, after the Ijab is stated, the Qabul must also be stated immediately. The research results show that marriage contracts conducted online during the COVID-19 pandemic are legally valid, thereby contributing to resolving the difficulties faced by prospective brides and grooms in gathering to conduct the marriage contract due to social restrictions. The validity of online marriage contracts represents a legal renewal that previously considered that marriage contracts must be conducted in one place.

The purpose of this study was to determine the high temperature erosion rate of the NiCr coating on ASME SA 210 C steel using the combustion oxy fuel thermal spray method. In Circulating Fluidized Bed (CFB) boiler, there is circulation of fly ash, silica sand and air in a high temperature environment which causes erosion. High temperature erosion can be minimized by using Ni-Cr alloy coating sing the combustion oxy fuel thermal spray method. NiCr alloy is proved a able to provider a metal alloy layer composition that can withstand temperatures of 600°C with a fly ash impact speed of 200m/s. The metal alloy compositions that have been studied are NiCr, NiCrCo, NiCrWc, NiCrWcCo, and NiCrCoMo. The results of this study indicates that metal alloys are generally atteche to the substrate and withstand at a high temperatures (600°C). The highest hardness provide by NiCrWcCo alloy which is 177.46 HV. The lowest hardness is found in the composition of the NiCrCo alloy (161.71 HV). The lowest high temperature erosion rate was found in the NiCrWcCo alloy, which was -0.00481 gram/minute. This low erosion rate because the NiCrWcCo alloy produces a good weeting effect for metal alloys and has a high hardness value.

Bioactive peptides are promising functional ingredients. Due to its high protein content, snakehead fish (Channa striata) extract (SHFE) is one of the suitable parent proteins for bioactive peptides. This study aimed to investigate the production of SHFE-based antioxidative peptides in a conventional batch and continuous system facilitated by an enzymatic membrane reactor (EMR). The effects of different proteases (Alcalase, Neutrase), substrate concentrations, and enzyme-to-substrate ratios were investigated in the batch process. Continuous hydrolysis was then performed under the optimum conditions obtained from the batch process. The optimum conditions based on the antioxidant capacity measured by DPPH and FRAP assays were employing Alcalase with a substrate concentration [S] of 3% (w/v) and an enzyme-to-substrate ratio [E]/[S] of 10% (w/w). Continuous operation was shown to have been performed over a prolonged period, based on the calculated fouling rate. Furthermore, filtration of the resulting permeate with a smaller membrane pore size (2-kDa) increased the antioxidant capacity. This study is expected to increase the production of functional ingredients in snakehead fish.

Ultimately, this study not only enriches our understanding of tourism governance complexities but also offers actionable insights for policymakers, communities, and industry players to promote the sustainable growth of tourism in island destinations.

Flours made from a mixture of purple sweet potato, corn, and sago have potential use in producing analog rice. The desired analog rice should contain good nutritional value, bioactive components, and have a long shelf life. The aim of this study was to evaluate the physicochemical characteristics of analog rice made from these mixed flours and to determine its shelf life. To produce the analog rice, a mixture of 2700 g purple sweet potato flour, 2700 g corn flour, 600 g sago flour, and 120 g glycerol monostearate was used with a twin-screw extruder. The resulting analog rice was analyzed for its chemical composition, total phenolic and anthocyanin content, antioxidant capacity, and shelf life using the critical moisture content method. The analog rice was found to be high in carbohydrates as the main component (81.1%) and contained a total phenolic content of 75.0 mg/100g, anthocyanin content of 19.28 mg/100g, and antioxidant activity of 54.66%. The natural purple color of the rice analog was attributed to the presence of anthocyanin (L= 36.7, a=6.54; b=3.05). When stored in polypropylene packaging at a temperature of 30°C and relative humidity (RH) of 75%, the shelf life of the analog rice was found to be 6.0 months. Different storage conditions and packaging types resulted in varying shelf-lives.

Feline panleukopenia (FPL) is a viral infectious disease caused by the feline panleukopenia virus (FPV) that affects cats of all ages. Clinical symptoms that appear in each individual cat vary greatly, depending on age, immune status, and the presence or absence of secondary infection. The aim of this research was to diagnose the FPL based on clinical signs and polymerase chain reaction (PCR) in cat with various ages. This study used 15 cats that showed one of clinical symptoms including lethargy, anorexia, fever, diarrhea, and vomiting. All cats were examined physically and by PCR of blood, then analyzed descriptively. The results showed that 10/15 (66.7%) cats were 1 year old. Identification by PCR showed that 100% of the samples positive, so that all of cats diagnosed FPL. Clinical signs that commonly appeared in this study included anorexia (80%), fever (80%), vomiting (73.3%), lethargy (66.7%), and diarrhea (40%). Young cats 12 months experienced anorexia and vomiting. Concluded that the predominant clinical symptoms of FPL in young cats were anorexia, fever, vomiting and lethargy, whereas in adult cats anorexia, fever, vomiting, and diarrhea. Clinical symptoms can be used for initial screening of FPL, but the causative diagnosis needs to be determined by polymerase chain reaction.

Background and Aim: The impact of exogenous melatonin on the sperm quality of small ruminants is controversial. Therefore, this study aimed to synthesize previous findings on the influence of melatonin injection on sperm quality, steroid hormones, and testicular blood flow in small ruminants. Materials and Methods: Thirty studies were analyzed by computing the raw mean difference (RMD) as the effect size between the control and melatonin treatment groups, using the inverse of the variance for the random-effect model of the method of moments by DerSimonian and Laird. We assessed heterogeneity among studies using Q test. I2 statistic was used to classify the observed heterogeneity. We used Egger’s regression method to indicate publication bias. Results: Melatonin injection (p < 0.05) affected sperm concentration (RMD = 0.42 × 109/mL), morphology (RMD = 2.82%), viability (RMD = 2.83%), acrosome integrity (RMD = 4.26%), and DNA integrity (RMD = 1.09%). Total motility (RMD = 5.62%), progressive motility (RMD = 7.90%), acrosome integrity (RMD = 8.68%), and DNA integrity (RMD = 2.01%) of post-thawed semen in the melatonin-treated group were also increased (p < 0.05). Similarly, treatment with melatonin (p < 0.05) enhanced total motility (RMD = 5.78%), progressive motility (RMD = 5.28%), curvilinear velocity (RMD = 4.09 μm/s), straight-line velocity (RMD = 5.61 μm/s), and average path velocity (RMD = 4.94 μm/s). Testosterone (RMD = 1.02 ng/mL) and estradiol 17-ß levels (RMD = 0.84 pg/mL) were elevated (p < 0.05) in the melatonin-injected group. Melatonin implantation ameliorated testicular blood flow, as indicated by a significant reduction (p < 0.05) in the resistive index (RMD = 0.11) and pulsatility index (RMD = –0.15). Conclusion: Melatonin administration can increase the reproductive performance of small male ruminants.

Critical Thinking (Hereafter, CT) significantly correlates to the EFL students' speaking ability; students with high critical thinking perform better than students with low critical thinking. Several strategies can be implemented for initiating CT in the classroom. One of them is using language style conveyed by the teachers. However, few studies concern about this pragma-stylistic usage in the teaching-learning process. Therefore, this current study aims to analyze (1) types of pragma-stylistics strategies used by teachers in initiating the EFL university students' CT in oral mode; (2) the ways teachers use pragma-stylistics strategies in initiating the EFL university students' CT in oral mode; and (3) the teachers' perception of the students' response towards initiating the CT in oral mode. Qualitative descriptive using Interview was conducted to collect the data. The result showed that teachers prefer using Assertive-Stating, Assertive-Suggesting, Directive-Advising and Prolepsis strategies to initiate students' CT in their speaking classroom. They implement those strategies through some activities during the class, such as giving stimulus (text, audio, and video) in a particular theme, conducting group discussions or speaking club, providing instructions or questions, and giving feedback. Besides, the teachers pointed out that most students positively respond to the strategies that they have utilized. The strategies effectively motivate and encourage the students to enhance their CT. Furthermore, this study suggests language teachers initiate their students' CT through the pragma-stylistic strategies mentioned. Finally, further researchers are expected to discuss the same field in more comprehensive scopes with different language skills.

Pada kebanyakan kasus disertai gejala seperti mual, muntah dan anoreksia. Terapi non farnakologis termasuk pemberian aromaterapi lavender dan relaksasi napas dalam, digunakan dalam penatalaksanaan pasien cephalgia untuk mengurangi intensitas nyeri yang dialami. Relaksasi merupakan aktivitas saraf parasimpatis yang mendorong penurunan seluruh fungsi yang ditingkatkan oleh saraf simpatis. Aromaterapi mempengaruhi sistem limbik di otak yang bertugas mengatur perasaan, suasanan hati dan memori. Studi kasus ini bertujuan untuk efektifitas aromaterapi lavender dan relaksasi napas dalam untuk menurunkan intensitas nyeri. Studi ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus yang dilaksanakan pada Desember 2023. Pemberian aromaterapi lavender dan relaksasi napas dalam menggunakan tissu yang diberikan selama 5-7 menit dan 2-3 tetes oil lavender dilakukan 1 kali sehari dalam waktu 3 hari berturut-turut. Intervensi dilakukan sebelum dan sesudah tindakan dengan menggunakan alat ukur skala pengkajian nyeri PQRST. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang diperoleh bahwa hasil intervensi inovatif menunjukkan bahwa pemberian aromaterapi lavender dan relaksasi napas dalam dapat menurunkan intensitas nyeri. Terdapat perubahan rata-rata skala dari hari pertama hingga terakhir sebelum dan sesudah diberikan intervensi.

During the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic, anticoagulant drugs have emerged as a crucial component of treatment alongside antivirus medications. Patients with severe COVID-19 frequently have critical conditions marked by blood clot development, necessitating the administration of anticoagulants. This review aims to provide a comprehensive overview of various anticoagulant drugs, their synthesis methods, and assays employed to predict their anticoagulant activity. Notable anticoagulant categories frequently utilized include oral anticoagulants heparin, non-vitamin K antagonists, and vitamin K antagonists. In recent years, the development of new anticoagulants has seen a shift towards a multifaceted approach that combines in silico prediction with in vitro and in vivo assays. In silico prediction techniques play a pivotal role in the initial screening process. This integrated approach has yielded promising results, paving the way for the synthesis of novel anticoagulant candidates, as substantiated by a battery of in vitro, in vivo, and ex-vivo tests.

Background: Choosing a banner supplier is a significant challenge for digital printing companies due to the various advantages offered by each supplier, often leading to selections based on subjective aspects such as price and quality. Objective: This research aims to develop a system that determines the best banner supplier to minimize production inefficiencies and maximize profits by comparing two calculation methods, Profile Matching and TOPSIS. Methods: A quantitative study was conducted using transaction data from the last six months. The parameter criteria used in this system include price, quality, delivery, availability, and payment terms. The study compares the effectiveness of Profile Matching and TOPSIS methods in identifying the best supplier. Results: The study results show that the TOPSIS method is superior, yielding 100% accuracy, 84% recall, and a 92% F1-score, outperforming the Profile Matching method. This demonstrates that the correct method and algorithm effectively provide the best alternative recommendations. Conclusion: The results indicate that using the TOPSIS method leads to more accurate and objective decisions based on predetermined criteria. The findings suggest that further research should focus on refining these methods to enhance decision-making in supplier selection.

Agrarian reform is a strategic policy that aims to redistribute land to the community, tiny farmers, and tenants to reduce land ownership inequality and improve people's welfare. Land inequality in Indonesia is very high, with the land tenure Gini index reaching 0.68, higher than the income Gini index, which stands at 0.388. This inequality not only creates socio-economic problems such as poverty and agrarian conflict but also impacts national resilience. This research uses SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis to evaluate the implementation of agrarian reform policy and determine the right strategy to accelerate its implementation in supporting national resilience. This analysis identifies several strengths in the agrarian reform policy, such as government commitment and adequate infrastructure support. However, areas for improvement, such as lack of optimization of access to agrarian reform programs and slow resolution of land disputes, were also found. Opportunities include community empowerment and increased economic resources, while threats come from resistance from parties with specific interests and challenges in land redistribution. The results of this analysis are expected to provide strategic recommendations to improve the implementation of agrarian reform policies, such as strengthening cross-sectoral cooperation, increasing socialization and training, and improving access to information for the community. Thus, an effective agrarian reform program is expected to enhance community welfare and contribute to national resilience.

ABSTRACT Gastropod resources in the Dawi-Dawi mangrove ecosystem, Southeast Sulawesi are greatly influenced by the input of overburden waste (sediment) from nickel mining activities. This condition has been going on for the last 2 decades and has degraded the habitat and structure of the gastropod community. The upstream connectivity (the existing nickel mining area) and the Dawi-Dawi River estuary mean that the mangrove forest (estuary) in this area is continuously affected by (massive) overburden runoff. This research was carried out in June-August in the mangrove ecosystem of Dawi-Dawi Village, Southeast Sulawesi Province. This research aims to determine the existing condition of mangrove gastropods affected by overburden. This research began by conducting initial observations in the field, to identify mangrove ecosystems affected by overburden. research stations were determined using a purposive sampling technique (targeted) and sampling gastropods using a simple random sampling method. The ecological index of the mangrove gastropod community affected by overburden shows a tendency for a medium diversity index (H'=1.81), low species richness (R=1.42), high evenness (E=1.12), and no dominance of certain species (C=0.19). The gastropod species found are typical types that make up the mangrove fauna, namely Terebralia sulcata, Terebralia palustris, Faunus ater, Telescopium telescopium, Hebra nigra, and several taxa (genus) of climbing Littoraria snails (periwinkle) which are found in the roots, stems and leaves of mangroves. The abundance of gastropods obtained was also very low, namely around 0-12 Ind./m2. At some points (rarely) schools of small snails of the type T. sulcata (5-21 Ind./m2) are sometimes found. This research shows de facto that overburden waste eliminates (survival) or reduces the diversity and richness of gastropod species (ecological index) in the mangrove ecosystem of Dawi-Dawi.

Analyzing sentiment toward Blackpink is urgent, given its growing popularity and wide influence among fans worldwide. In the present technological era, social media platforms such as YouTube have evolved into a space where artists and their fans may interact with each other. As a consequence, social media has become a powerful tool for assessing the emotional tone and sentiment conveyed by individuals. Objective: This research aims to explore the trend of public sentiment towards Blackpink and evaluate how well the IndoBERT model analyzes the sentiment of Indonesian texts. Methods: The objective of this study is to examine the pattern of public sentiment towards Blackpink and assess the proficiency of the IndoBERT model in analyzing the sentiment of Indonesian writings. Results: The findings demonstrated that the IndoBERT model had an exceptional level of precision, achieving a 98% accuracy rate. In addition, it obtained a f1, recall, and accuracy score of 95%. The remarkable results demonstrate the efficacy of the IndosBERT technique in evaluating the emotion of Indonesian-language literature towards Blackpink. Conclusion: This study enhances the knowledge of how fans and audiences react to K-pop material and establishes a foundation for future research and advancement. The impressive precision of the IndoBERT model showcases its capacity for sentiment analysis in Indonesian literature, making it a useful tool for future research endeavors.

Penelitian ini didasarkan pada penemuan bahwa penggunaan media di MTs Ar-Rosydiyyah Mambaul Ulum Sampang ini masih tergolong kurang menarik pada pembelajaran Bahasa Arab. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menguji efektivitas pada penggunaan media Jeopardy Game pada evaluasi pembelajaran siswa untuk meningkatkan Maharah Qiroah pada pembelajaran Bahasa Arab. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah one group pretest-posttest design. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara dan tes. Analisis data menggunakan uji mean, Paired Sample T Test, dan uji N Gain Score. Berdasarkan hasil data yang peroleh dan dihitung, diketahui nilai Sig. 0,001 < 0,05 yang artinya bahwa ada perbedaan rata-rata hasil kemampuan membaca siswa. Uji N-Gain Score dilakukan untuk menguji efektivitas media Jeoprady Game dalam evaluasi pembelajaran dan diperoleh persentase 80.9970 yang berada di interval > 76 sehingga masuk kategori “Efektif”.

Background Problems: The lack of variety in exercises applied by coaches makes players feel bored, so they must be given training variations by looking at training methods that significantly improve basic tennis technique skills between game training methods and drills. Research Objectives: This study aims to determine differences in the effect of game and drill training methods on improving basic tennis technical skills based on the age groups of 10-12 years and 13-15 years. Methods: In this context, the method used was experimental research with a 2x2 factorial design. The sample consisted of 24 male athletes in Lampung who were separated into 4 groups. Findings and Results: (i) There are differences in the effect of game practice and drill methods on improving basic tennis technique skills. (ii) There is a difference in improving basic tennis technique skills between the age groups of 10-12 years and 13-15 years. (iii) There is an influence of interaction between training methods and age groups on improving basic tennis technique skills. Conclusion: The age group 10-12 years is more appropriate if given the game training method, and the age group 13-15 years is more appropriate if given the practice training method. The findings of this study provide an important contribution by highlighting the importance of both applied training methods for basic tennis technique. This training method is also adapted for age-based characteristics. Therefore, the recommendation to use game and drill training methods as part of tennis training can help athletes cope with intense playing conditions. Based on the analysis above, the novelty of the research developed by the researcher was two exercise methods compared, two age groups that were sampled, and research instruments using International Tennis Number (ITN) On Court Assessment. Researchers used game and drill training methods that could affect the sample after treatment. Different from previous research, the sample used was male athletes aged 10-15 years.

Purpose – This study examines the factors driving and barriers to financial inclusion in Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) countries. Methodology – This study employs panel data analysis using fully modified ordinary least squares (FMOLS) and dynamic ordinary least squares (DOLS) methods. The sample consists of OIC countries from 2011 to 2021. Findings – According to the FMOLS model, remittances, bank stability, and government debt are key drivers of long-term financial inclusion, while inflation, trade openness, and economic development act as barriers. Bank competition does not significantly impact financial inclusion. In the DOLS model, remittances and bank stability remain significant drivers, with inflation and economic growth acting as barriers. However, in the long term, financial inclusion is not significantly influenced by government debt or competition. Implications – This study offers insights for financial institutions and governments. Financial institutions should improve their access to low-income groups and small businesses. Governments should promote financial inclusion and stability through sound macroeconomic policy. Policymakers can use these findings to focus on key factors for a sustainable economy. Originality – This study fills a gap by exploring the factors affecting financial inclusion in OIC countries, a less-studied topic. It also uses additional indicators to measure the financial inclusion index, leading to more comprehensive results.

Maize is one of the most important food commodities after rice and is widely cultivated because it has a high protein value. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the coating material on the growth and yield of maize under saline stress. This research was conducted in the Agroecotechnology greenhouse of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Trunojoyo Madura from August 2022 to January 2023. This study used a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 10 treatment combinations and 3 replications with a factor of one coating material (P) and a factor of two salinity (K). The coating material factor consisted of 5 treatments namely control (P0), bentonite (P1), biochar (P2), light coal (P3), and biochar compost (P4), the saline stress factor consisted of 2 treatments namely control (K0) and saline (K1). The results showed that the application of coating material to saline stress had a significant effect on all growth parameters. The interaction between treatments only had a significant effect on plant height at 1 MST, leaf area at 6 MST, and 100 seed weight. Treatment (P2K1) with biochar and saline showed the best results on all growth and yield parameters of maize. Saline stress reduced the percentage of growth and yield of maize by about 50%.

This research analyzes strategic management based on Islamic values at Islamic boarding school-based universities in East Java Province. Through a cross-case qualitative approach, this research analyzes the strategic formulation, implementation, and evaluation stages and their implications for improving the quality of education. Interviews, observations, and documentation were conducted to obtain accurate and valid data. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman interactive model: data collection, data presentation, data condensation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that the strategic planning process needs to be carried out through deliberation with core stakeholders and HR (human resources) involved in higher education institutions and the need to develop Islamic values in the strategic planning process, namely istiqamah (continuously), da'wah (inviting people to join), ittihad (unity), mashlahah (general goodness), ihtiyat (prudence). These Islamic values were developed to optimize strategic planning components: scanning, establishing a vision, mission, tag lines, policies, and strategies. These several components form a unit that cannot be separated in the strategic planning process in responding to the future challenges of educational institutions.

This research aims to obtain a strategic decision framework through the strategic formulation stages as a solution to the problems found by researchers in implementing strategic formulation at Model Middle Schools in Semarang City. This research uses sequential mixed methods. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Triangulation data collection techniques are used to obtain data validity. This research determines strategic planning decisions for Model State Middle Schools in Semarang City, namely service development strategies. The service development strategy is the primary strategy chosen from four existing alternative strategies with strategic actions that can be carried out by Model State Middle Schools in Semarang City, namely developing and establishing service standards, compiling and establishing standard operational procedures, improving the quality of service to the community by tightening supervision through establishing school units and developing a customer complaints system.

Money laundering is an act committed by individuals or a group to conceal or disguise the origin of wealth obtained from illegal activities into assets that appear to have been acquired through legal means. Generally, there are three money laundering processes: placement, layering, and integration. The complexity of these money laundering processes described above makes it difficult to trace suspicious financial transactions and identify the parties involved and which transactions are connected to the suspected money laundering network. To address this issue, Social Network Analysis (SNA) is implemented to generate SNA features. In the following stage, these SNA features are employed as indicators to detect suspicious financial activities. The gathered indicator data is utilized to build a classification model using the Light Gradient-Boosting Machine (LGBM) approach. The results of this study show that the model created using SNA and LGBM methods achieved an accuracy of 97%. The precision, recall, and F1-Score values for non-suspicious transaction data were 98%, 97%, and 97%, respectively, while for suspicious transaction data, they were 97%, 98%, and 97%, respectively. The achieved accuracy values were quite high indicating that the used approach was capable of effectively classifying suspicious financial activities. We believe that the findings of this study could be an alternative method for detecting suspicious financial transactions in order to avoid money laundering operations.

Broccoli is abundant in fiber, vitamins, and minerals and is useful as a complement to main dishes. However, the use of broccoli during baking is still limited. Therefore, an experiment was conducted to explore the use of broccoli as a substitute in the recipe of a traditional cake, Kue Lumpur, as a traditional Indonesian snack for various events. This study aimed to determine how to make green broccoli puree, the process of making Kue Lumpur with green broccoli puree substitution, the response of panelists, and the nutritional content of Kue Lumpur from green broccoli puree substitution. The experimental design research was conducted at Makassar State University from December 2021 to February 2022. The participants were 16 trained panelists. Data collection was carried out using documentation and questionnaires (Scoresheet). Latar Belakang: Pandemi covid-19 mulai tampak terkendali, namun korban jiwa masih terus bertambah. Data dari Satuan Tugas Penanganan Covid-19 Nasional, hingga September 2022 ini, di Indonesia telah lebih 150 ribu jiwa orang meninggal akibat penyakit ini. Akhir-akhir ini, ada penelitian yang melaporkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara kadar vitamin D di dalam darah dengan sistem imunitas. Tujuan: adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan antara kadar vitamin D dalam darah dengan terjadinya infeksi covid-19 berulang. Metode: Penelitian ini adalah penelitian survey analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectinal yang mencoba mengkaji hubungan antara kadar vitamin D darah, status kelengkapan vaksin, kepatuhan akan protocol kesehatan, usia dan jenis kelamin dengan terjadinya infeksi covid-19 berulang. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh dosen di Universitas Malahayati (Unmal) Bandar Lampung yang bersedia secara sukarela menjadi subyek penelitian ini yang berjumlah 62 orang. Adapun teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah non probability sampling: consecutive sampling, dengan kriteria inklusinya adalah yang pernah terinfeksi covid-19 pada tahun 2022 ini, sehingga didapatkan 47 orang sampel yang mememenuhi kriteria tersebut. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan regresi logistik. Hasil: Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara status kelengkapan vaksin covid-19 (p-value: 0,001) dengan OR 8,24 dan kadar vitamin D dalam darah (p-value: 0,007) dengan nilai OR 8,47. Kesimpulan: Semakin tidak lengkap vaksin covid-19 nya dan semakin rendah kadar vitamin D dalam darah, maka akan semakin besar potensi untuk mengalami infeksi covid-19 berulang.

Mission and vision play an essential role in strategic management. They are the philosophical foundation and strategic direction of higher education, serving as a guide, inspiration, and control tool to achieve organizational goals. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the relevance and impact of mission and vision on academic services provided by Indonesian higher education institutions through governance and human resources. The research instrument is based on relevant literature and uses a Likert scale to measure implementation, socialization, and effectiveness of mission and vision, academic services, governance, and human resources. Data were collected using the online random sampling method, and the number of respondents was 10,937 lecturers. The study uses a serial mediation analysis to test the hypotheses. The research results show that governance and human resources positively affect academic services. As a mediator variable, they can improve academic services. The results highlight the significant contribution of mission and vision to governance. Governance also contributes significantly to human resource management. Human resources can boost academic services. This study emphasizes the importance of the university’s mission and vision, namely the philosophical foundation and strategic direction of academic services supported by appropriate human resources and good governance.
