In Barito Kuala Regency, the cultivation of tilapia fish in Floating Net Cages has been rapidly growing since 2011. Fish farming groups utilizing wooden cages actively engage in the Operational Cooperation System (KSO) with grants for floating net cages, where the borrowed cages are fully managed by the fish farmers. The study aims to analyze the factors influencing the interest in non-bank business capital financing among tilapia fish farmers in Floating Net Cages in Barito Kuala Regency. The research is conducted in the Marabahan and Bakumpai Districts of Barito Kuala Regency, considering that the majority of tilapia fish farmers in Floating Net Cages are located in these two districts. The research subjects are the managers and members of fish farming groups (Pokdakan) cultivating tilapia fish in Barito Kuala Regency. The research sample is purposively selected. The key factors influencing the interest in non-bank business capital financing among tilapia fish farmers in Floating Net Cages in Barito Kuala Regency are the number of floating net cages and the source of capital. These factors need to be considered in the development of policies and financing strategies to support the sustainability and growth of tilapia fish farming businesses in Barito Kuala Regency.

The Covid-19 pandemic causes all activities carried out online and increases the demand for natural skincare products. E-business is a promising business model during the pandemic and post-pandemic for MSMEs that sell skincare products made from natural ingredients. This research aimed to define the influence of quality and price of natural skincare products on customer satisfaction, which can support the sustainability of MSMEs' E-business. The object of this research is Zavennie, an MSME that sells green skincare products using the B2C E-business model. This study uses a quantitative approach by employing a survey distributed through an online questionnaire. The respondents of this research are customers who have bought Zavennie products. The data analysis method applied in this research is multiple linear regression. The results revealed that product quality and price partially and simultaneously had a significant influence on customer satisfaction. The findings in this study also indicate that improving product quality and determining the proper selling price could support the sustainability of MSMEs' E-Business which produces skincare products made from natural ingredients. The findings of this study will provide a reference for MSMEs that operates E-Business to enhance product quality and determine appropriate selling price to maintain customer satisfaction. For further study, it is suggested to apply a wider research object and involve more respondents to gain a deeper insight regarding factors that influence customer satisfaction and its impact on the sustainability of MSMEs E-Business model.

Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (SMK3) diamanatkan melalui PP 50/2012. Dalam konteks pekerjaan konstruksi, KemenPUPR telah menerbitkan PerMenPUPR 5/2014 yang kemudian diperbarui menjadi PerMenPUPR 2/2018. Pedoman ini mengatur pengalokasian biaya penerapan SMK3 oleh Penyedia Jasa dan Pengguna Jasa. Pedoman ini telah mengatur komponen-komponen biaya SMK3 yang harus diperhitungkan dan dilaksanakan di proyek-proyek berisiko tinggi. Namun penerapannya belum berdampak pada peningkatan kinerja K3 konstruksi, dengan demikian digali potensi penerapan pangalokasian anggaran SMK3 dalam kontrak konstruksi secara terpisah dari biaya umum/overhead, yaitu sebagai suatu “line-item” yang khusus dalam kontrak konstruksi. Studi dilakukan pada lima belas proyek konstruksi gedung bertingkat tinggi di wilayah Jakarta dan Bandung. Data diambil berdasarkan wawancara, kuesioner, serta dokumen pendukung. Biaya aktual SMK3 yang dikeluarkan berkisar antara 0,3-2,0%. Sedangkan anggaran yang dihitung berdasarkan pedoman adalah 1,37-3,84% dari total nilai kontrak. Komponen biaya yang paling signifikan adalah premi untuk asuransi, perizinan, serta gaji pengawas K3. Responden sebagai pihak kontraktor juga memberi masukan dari sudut pandang penyedia jasa terkait pendetilan perhitungan komponen biaya SMK3 yang tertuang dalam pedoman. Responden setuju pemisahan perhitungan biaya SMK3 dalam kontrak, namun pedoman dapat digunakan di luar lingkungan KemenPUPR apabila disusun penajaman perhitungannya sehingga terdapat kesamaan persepsi perhitungan antara Penyedia Jasa dan Pengguna Jasa.

The Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) has been confirmed as pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO). Every country in the world is affected by this disease, including Indonesia. Covid-19 impacts not only public health but also other sectors such as tourism. This study aims to discover the solution to recover mangrove tourism after the pandemic. This study formulates the mangrove tourism recovery strategy after Covid-19 that conducted from April to August 2021 in Bintan Islands, Indonesia. The recovery strategy using Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, and Threat (SWOT) and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) analysis. The result shows that the strength of mangrove tourism in Bintan Island is the magnificence of the mangrove itself, the community-based tourism, various and unique tourism activities, etc. The weakness is incomplete facilities, lack of promotion, etc. The recovery strategy priority is mangrove tourism management that performed by BUMDes, Establishment of Pengudang Village Tourism and Cultural Heritage, Training and Mentoring of Mangrove Tourism Managers.

Context: The planting and use of leucaena (Leucaena leucocephala) to fatten cattle is both practical and profitable for smallholder farmers in West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. Currently smallholder farmers feed leucaena as the primary component of a cattle fattening diet. However, the high protein content in leucaena could be more effectively used if combined with a fermentable energy source, such as cassava (Manihot utilissima). Aim: An experiment was conducted to determine the ratio of leucaena to cassava corresponding to largest average daily gain and most efficient feed conversion for gain. Methods: Thirty growing male Bali cattle (Bos javanicus) ~18 months of age with an initial live weight of 164 ± 1.8 kg (mean ± s.e.) were allocated to one of six experimental treatments in a randomised block design. Bulls were held in individual stalls and had access to experimental diets and water ad libitum. The diets were 20% rice straw + 80% leucaena hay (A), 20% rice straw + 65% leucaena hay + 15% cassava meal (B), 20% rice straw + 50% leucaena hay + 30% cassava meal (C), 20% rice straw + 35% leucaena hay + 45% cassava meal (D), 20% rice straw + 20% leucaena hay + 60% cassava meal (E) and 20% rice straw + 5% leucaena hay + 75% cassava meal (F). A mineral mix was provided at 1% DM of total diet and urea was added to the cassava meal at 2% DM. In consideration of animal welfare concerns, the trial was concluded on Day 77 due to observations indicating that bulls receiving the highest level of cassava (F) were experiencing significant weight loss. Key results: The optimum level of inclusion of cassava was 29.5% (based on the quadratic response curve) but there was little difference in average daily gain up to 45% inclusion. Feeding a high level of cassava meal (more than 45% of diet) reduced feed intake, average daily gain and income over feed cost. Conclusion: Cassava meal can be successfully and profitably incorporated into leucaena-based rations of Bali bulls for fattening. Implications: Formulating rations with cassava meal and leucaena can be economically beneficial in cattle fattening systems. Supplementing Bali cattle rations in leucaena-based smallholdings with locally available cassava as an energy source, provides an opportunity to increase cattle live weight gain, extend the utilisation of leucaena and increase farmer profitability. Weight gain and profitability were maximised up to 45% cassava, but higher levels reduced feed intake, average daily gain and income over feed costs. Feeding cassava meal to leucaena-based diets is an important strategy to preserve leucaena as well as to increase profitability and meat production nationally. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Iban communities have the traditional beliefs that serve as their guide in daily life. Every occurrence in their environment is believed as a bird / ‘burung’ or a sign that needs to be interpreted to know its connotation. Among the beliefs that the Iban community is constantly concerned, emphasis is shown to the interpretation of signs that appear in dreams. In this study, the Semiotic Theory of Charles Sander Peirce was used as the basis for studying the signs manifesting in a dream. Using this theory, the existing signs will be interpreted as specific omens based on the beliefs of the Iban community. This study focuses on the classification of dreams based on the signs that exist. This research also aims to make sense of the dreams and its function in Iban society. The findings showed that the Ibanese community have their own interpretation of the signs that commonly appear in dreams. These interpretations are important elements in determining the classification of a dream. In this study, dreams in the Iban people are categorised into happy dreams (mimpi gaga), nightmares (mimpi changka), dreams of longevity (mimpi gayu), dreams of anger (mimpi ringat), dreams of brevity (mimpi pandak umur), dreams of helping deities (mimpi ditulung antu) and also the dream of mourning (mimpi ngulit). These classifications are very important because these interpretations are believed to be true by the Ibanese community as a medium of spiritual communication whereby the beliefs are a must to follow in order to ensure the well-being of their community. This study aimed to determine the effect of Calliandra calothyrsus supplementation and inoculation of Lactiplantibacillus plantarum (L. plantarum) on Penisetum purpureum cv. Gamma Umami grass fermentative and chemical quality and nutrient degradability. The study used a completely randomized design with 3 x 3 factorial patterns. The first factor was Calliandra supplementation levels at 10%, 20%, and 30%; the second was L. plantarum inoculation levels at 0%, 2%, and 4%. The variables measured included chemical fermentation profiles, chemical composition, and rumen fermentation and degradability parameters. The result showed that a higher level of C. calothyrsus supplementation concomitant increased silage pH and NH3-N concentration (p<0.05), while L. plantarum inoculation significantly decreased the silage pH and ammonia concentration (p<0.05). The silage contents of dry matter, organic matter, crude protein, and ether extract in silage significantly (p<0.05) increased. Inoculation of L. plantarum decreased (p<0.05) crude fiber, ether extract, and total tannin content of silage. The total volatile fatty acids, acetate, propionate concentrations, and rumen microbial protein synthesis were significantly increased with Calliandra supplementation (p<0.05). L. plantarum inoculation treatment only increased the proportion of acetate (p<0.05) and tended to increase the volatile fatty acids of rumen fluid, the proportion of acetate, propionate, and butyrate. The rumen ammonia concentration decreased with Calliandra supplementation and L. plantarum inoculation. It is concluded that 30% Calliandra supplementation and 2% L. plantarum inoculation and their combination were the treatments that produced the best chemical fermentation, rumen fermentation, and degradability parameters. In this work, five CaO/SiO2 composites with different mass ratios were synthesized from limestone and pumice silica and subsequently applied as catalysts for the transesterification of rubber seed oil. A series of experiments were conducted to evaluate the effect of catalyst compositions, calcination temperatures, and other reaction variables including catalyst loads, methanol to oil (M/O) ratios, and reaction times on the reaction yields. The catalyst exhibited the highest activity and was characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). The results displayed promising activities of the CaO/SiO2 composites synthesized, with the highest transesterification yield of 100% achieved using a CaO/SiO2 catalyst with a ratio of 1:5 calcined at a temperature of 800 °C. This complete conversion of the oil into biodiesel was achieved with the use of a catalyst load of 2.5% of the mass of the oil, an M/O ratio of 6:1, and a reaction range of 6 hours. The overall results demonstrated that CaO/SiO2 synthesized has the promising potential as a catalyst to support biodiesel production from various feedstock. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
