Customer complaints will unavoidably occur, no matter how effective the business is. If there’san overlooked or dismissed complaint, it may seem to effectively tell the client that theircomments were not valued. Many business owners consider handling complaints to be a time-consuming and irritating process. However, by developing an efficient method, problems maybe resolved quickly and easily. Even though we are aware that Filipinos have highexpectations for services, it is vital to handle complaints that travelers lodge with hotels allover the Philippines. Particularly when their complaint was not promptly resolved. Typically,some visitors may complain about your hotel on social media. It is not desired. The hotel'sstaff, as well as guests, will be affected. This study reveals that amenities can also cause vexation of the guests while on theirpremises, and the absence of personalized services in the room services may cause irritationto the guests. The overall hotel management might have a lack of knowledge in terms ofoperation during the guests' stays. It can be the reason for the dissatisfaction of their guests. It is advised that the staff listen patiently, which is essential for effectively handling clientissues. The staff members should be respectful and truly respond by acknowledging thedifficulties raised by the guests, taking ownership of the situation, offering a solution,expressing their commitment to improving, requesting a second chance to do so, and acting ina professional manner on all platforms. In order to prevent mistakes when joining thehospitality sector, and especially the hotel industry, it is advised that the students be moreeducated about hotel services.

Cell phones, as well as the applications used in them, have changed the forms of communication processes between their users, inclusive, in classroom is common. Among the phenomena associated with the mobile device-applications binomial is phubbing, which is defined as the action of belittling or ignoring a person physically by paying more attention to the mobile phone. This research was developed at a public university in southern of Mexico. The principal objective was to find the relationship between phubbing and the use of mobile device apps when students are in the classroom. The study had a quantitative, descriptive and correlational approach. An instrument of our own elaboration was applied, which measured of two variables; in the one hand, Prevalence of phubbing and on the other hand, the use of apps. The questionnaire was applied in between 2019 and 2021, to 643 students, (F: 471, M: 172). It was identified that the prevalence of phubbing and the approach have a direct positive relationship. This means that, the closer the applications, the more phubbing is done in classes. The findings suggest that a significative percentage of students would like to avoid being phubbers by discovering it as a social phenomenon that affects their academic and social context in person., Los teléfonos celulares, así como las aplicaciones utilizadas en ellos, han cambiado las formas en los procesos comunicativos entre sus usuarios, incluso en las aulas, lo que se percibe con frecuencia. Entre los fenómenos asociados al binomio de dispositivo móvil-aplicaciones se encuentra el phubbing, que se define como la acción de menospreciar o de ignorar a una persona físicamente por prestar más atención a un dispositivo móvil. Esta investigación se desarrolló en una universidad pública en el sur de México con el objetivo de hallar la relación existente entre el phubbing y el uso de las aplicaciones de los dispositivos móviles cuando los y las estudiantes se encuentran presenciando su clase. El estudio tuvo un enfoque cuantitativo, descriptivo y correlacional. Se aplicó un instrumento de elaboración propia que midió dos variables, la Prevalencia del phubbing y, Uso de las aplicaciones. El cuestionario se aplicó en el intervalo de 2019 a 2021, a 643 estudiantes, (M:471, H:172). Se identificó que la prevalencia del phubbing y el acercamiento con las aplicaciones tienen una relación directa de engranaje, esto significa que, a mayor acercamiento a las aplicaciones, más phubbing se realiza en clases. Dentro de los hallazgos se encontró que un porcentaje de estudiantes desearía evitar ser phubbers al descubrirlo como un fenómeno social que afecta su contexto académico e interpersonal al sumergirse en el ocio ignorando su entorno.

In the Guacacallo Educational Institution of the Pitalito municipality, Huila, Colombia, the problem-based learning model was implemented with tenth-grade students, to strengthen specific competencies in the subject of Chemistry. The line of research was ‘Pedagogical Training and Practice’, and the thematic area was ‘Disciplinary and Media Didactics’. For the characterization of the research, the following aspects were taken into account: -determination of previous ideas in the students through the pretest, -elements that define learning, -pedagogical strategy in the subject of Chemistry under this model and, -evaluation of the specific competencies achieved (posttest). The results showed that it is possible to strengthen specific skills in students through a strategy that articulates problem-based learning, disciplinary knowledge of the subject of Chemistry, and the principles of the institutional pedagogical model., Na Instituição Educativa Guacacallo do município de Pitalito, Huila, Colômbia, implementou-se o modelo de aprendizagem baseada em problemas com alunos do décimo ano, a fim de fortalecer competências específicas na disciplina de Química. A linha de pesquisa foi Formação e Prática Pedagógica, e a área temática foi Didática Disciplinar e Midiática. Para a caracterização da investigação, os seguintes aspectos foram tidos em conta: -determinação de ideias prévias nos alunos através do pré-teste, -elementos que definem a aprendizagem, -estratégia pedagógica na disciplina de Química sob este modelo e, -avaliação do competências específicas alcançadas (pós-teste). Os resultados mostraram que é possível fortalecer habilidades específicas nos alunos por meio de uma estratégia que articule a aprendizagem baseada em problemas, o conhecimento disciplinar da disciplina de Química e os princípios do modelo pedagógico institucional., En la Institución Educativa Guacacallo del municipio Pitalito, Huila, Colombia, se realizó la implementación del aprendizaje basado en problemas (ABP) con estudiantes de grado décimo, con el fin de fortalecer las competencias específicas en la asignatura de Química. La línea de investigación fue Formación y Práctica Pedagógica, y el área temática, Didáctica disciplinar y mediática. Para la caracterización de la investigación, se tuvo en cuenta los siguientes aspectos: Determinación de ideas previas en los estudiantes mediante el pretest; los elementos que definen el ABP; la estrategia pedagógica en la asignatura de Química bajo el modelo ABP, y la evaluación de las competencias específicas alcanzadas (postest). Los resultados evidenciaron que es posible fortalecer competencias específicas en los estudiantes mediante una estrategia que articule el aprendizaje basado en problemas, el saber disciplinar de la asignatura de Química y los principios del modelo pedagógico institucional.

The increase in unauthorized access to computer systems is generated by malicious programs and in recent years in Ecuador, there have been violations to the security of corporate networks, being the most common cyberattack ransomware, so it is proposed improvements to security practices applied to networks using artificial intelligence algorithms to predict and mitigate these threats. This study proposes to design a security model to detect threats in a corporate network with the use of machine learning algorithms. For this, a literature review was conducted in scientific journals and books to detail the concepts related to cybersecurity in enterprise environments, in addition, the CRISP-DM methodology was used to develop the computational model, which consists of five phases, business understanding, data understanding, data preparation, modeling and evaluation. At the end of the work, the model considers that the Random Forest algorithm presents a higher percentage in accuracy compared to other algorithms proposed in this study, achieving a performance value of 99.74%. Therefore, it is concluded that it is feasible to detect security anomalies in the traffic of a corporate network with the use of machine learning algorithms., El aumento de los accesos no autorizados que presentan los sistemas informáticos es generado por programas maliciosos y en los últimos años en Ecuador, se han presentado violaciones a la seguridad de las redes corporativas, siendo el ciberataque más común ransomware, por lo que se plantea mejoras a las prácticas de seguridad aplicadas a las redes empleando algoritmos de inteligencia artificial para predecir y mitigar estas amenazas. En este estudio se propone diseñar un modelo de seguridad para detectar las amenazas en una red corporativa con el uso de algoritmos de machine learning. Para esto se realizó una revisión de la literatura en revistas científicas y libros para detallar los conceptos relacionados a la ciberseguridad en ambientes empresariales, además se utilizó la metodología CRISP-DM para la elaboración del modelo computacional, el cual consta de cinco fases, comprensión del negocio, comprensión de datos, preparación de datos, modelado y evaluación. Al finalizar el trabajo el modelo considera que el algoritmo de Random Forest presenta un mayor porcentaje en precisión comparado con otros algoritmos planteados en este estudio, logrando un valor de rendimiento del 99,74%. Por lo cual se concluye que es factible detectar anomalías de seguridad del tráfico de una red corporativa con el uso de algoritmos de machine learning.

This document describes the technique and technology currently used to apply cryosurgery, a technic based on low temperatures for medical purposes that allows the controlled destruction of pathological cells and tissues. Cryosurgery is an effective and innocuous process that is painless, safe and economical, applied to multiple specialities in which it provides alternatives to its traditional methods. A search was carried out for articles and bibliographic reviews referring to Cryosurgery and from whose information this technical note was obtained. Research on the application of Cryosurgery presents solid evidence of its benefits. Therefore, it has been used in several countries and health campaigns, showing excellent results, so it is advisable to implement it in health systems., En el presente documento se describe la técnica y tecnología que en la actualidad son empleadas para la aplicación de la criocirugía, técnica que se basa en el empleo de bajas temperaturas para fines médicos y que permite la destrucción controlada de células y tejidos patológicos. La criocirugía es un procesoeficaz e inocuo con las características de ser indoloro, seguro y económico, aplicado a múltiples especialidades en las que brinda alternativas a sus métodos tradicionales. Se realizó una búsqueda de artículos y revisiones bibliográficas referentes al tema de la Criocirugía y a partir de cuya información se obtuvo esta nota técnica. Investigaciones realizadas sobre la aplicación de La Criocirugía presentan evidencia sólida de sus beneficios, por ello, se ha empleado en varios países y campañas de salud presentando excelentes resultados, motivo por el cual se propone que la criocirugía es una técnica segura para implementarla en sistemas de salud.
