The article presents updates on the activities and programs of Vision Aid Overseas (VAO), an international organization which provides ophthalmological services to people in developing countries. Project results for the year, which ended on March 31, 2006, show that 92 VAO members in 17 teams worked abroad under the organization's programs. VAO teams held clinics and examined a total of 20,386 patients and dispensed 18,655 pairs of spectacles.
