Isabel Díaz Ayuso y Yolanda Díaz se han convertido en dos de las figuras políticas más importantes de España en un breve periodo de tiempo. A través de este trabajo, observaremos cómo el discurso de ambas ha sido clave a la hora de construir la imagen y la identidad de dos políticas que han llegado al éxito tanto nacional como internacionalmente. El contenido de este análisis discursivo se basa en la selección de fragmentos de diferentes intervenciones públicas, mediante las que estudiaremos qué estrategias utilizan cada una y cuáles las han llevado a esa situación de liderazgo. Utilizaremos la metodología del análisis sociopragmático del discurso, siguiendo las teorías de imagen social y construcción de la identidad en el discurso público. Por otra parte, estudiaremos el papel que tienen los medios de comunicación en la construcción de esa identidad. Los discursos de ambas se dirigen a la creación de una imagen de mujer fuerte para ejercer el papel de líder, empleando estrategias discursivas relacionadas con el discurso profesional y no con el género. Yolanda Díaz explota una identidad basada en rasgos de cortesía y amabilidad con la que busca ser la imagen del consenso y el diálogo. Isabel Díaz Ayuso se caracteriza por tener una imagen agresiva y descortés con la que pretende erigirse como la oposición a Pedro Sánchez y al gobierno central. Isabel Díaz Ayuso and Yolanda Díaz have become two of Spain's most important political figures in a short period of time. Through this work, we will observe how the discourse of both has been key in constructing the image and identity of two politicians who have achieved success both nationally and internationally. The content of this discursive analysis is based on the selection of fragments of different public interventions, through which we will study the strategies used by each of them and which have led them to this situation of leadership. We will use the methodology of socio-pragmatic discourse analysis, following the theories of social image and identity construction in public discourse. On the other hand, we will study the role of the media in the construction of this identity. The discourses of both are aimed at creating an image of a strong woman in order to exercise the role of leader, employing discursive strategies related to professional discourse and not to gender. Yolanda Díaz exploits an identity based on traits of courtesy and kindness with which she seeks to be the image of consensus and dialogue. Isabel Díaz Ayuso is characterised by an aggressive and impolite image with which she seeks to set herself up as the opposition to Pedro Sánchez and the central government. Universidad de Sevilla.
