Abstract

Evidence in macaques for disease mediated by immune complex formation and eosinophils where fusion-inhibiting antibody is present is discussed based on production of atypical measles in the animals. Fusion-inhibiting antibody appeared earlier in these animals than in nonimmunized monkeys. Problems with measles vaccine used in humans are discussed.
