The present registration contains the details on a new cross-cultural study aimed at defining, testing, and evaluating the reliability and assessment model of a new expanded version of the Exercise Addiction Inventory, called EAI-3. The structure of the EAI-3 will be also validated across gender and different languages/cultures. Finally, it will be explored it is possible to find a general cutoff point able to screen individuals at risk of exercise addiction.

В статье представлены результаты двухлетнего исследования по реализации комплекса психологических средств коррекции возрастных страхов и страхов, обусловленных спортивной деятельностью, у юных пловцов. Эффективность данного Комплекса определена по динамике: 1) выраженности страхов; 2) количества юных спортсменов, отнесенных к группам в зависимости от уровня проявления страхов; 3) ситуативной тревожности у юных спортсменов; и уровню спортивной квалификации учебно-тренировочной группы 1 (УТ-1). В исследовании приняли участие 59 спортсменов и 12 тренеров. The paper presents the results of a two-year study on the implementation of the complex of psychological means of the correction of age and sporting activities related fears in primary school aged swimmers. Two groups of young swimmers from the sports school «Dolphin», Saint-Petersburg took part in the first part of the study: 1) 28 athletes of primary school age (born in 2005) with average sporting experience 3.5 years; and 2) 31 teen aged athlete (born in 2003) with average sporting experience 6 years. The group of teen athletes was involved to identify the characteristics of fears with primary school aged children in swimming. 12 coaches of the sports school also took part in the survey. The efficiency of the complex of psychological correction of fears in young swimmers of primary school age was confirmed by: а) the fears intensity; b) the number of athletes in the risk group and in the groups with low and intermediate fears intensity; c) state-anxiety indicator (both for the whole group of athletes born in 2005, and separately for girls and boys); d) statistically higher skill level of young swimmers of UT-1 in 2016 compared to 2014 and 2015. El documento presenta los resultados de un estudio de dos años sobre la implementación del complejo de medios psicológicos para la corrección de la edad y los temores relacionados con actividades deportivas en nadadores de edad escolar primaria. Dos grupos de jóvenes nadadores de la escuela deportiva «Dolphin», San Petersburgo, participaron en la primera parte del estudio: 1) 28 atletas en edad escolar primaria (nacidos en 2005) con una experiencia deportiva promedio de 3.5 años; y 2) 31 atletas adolescentes (nacidos en 2003) con una experiencia deportiva promedio de 6 años. El grupo de atletas adolescentes participó para identificar las características de los miedos con los niños de primaria en natación. 12 entrenadores de la escuela de deportes también participaron en la encuesta. La eficacia del complejo de corrección psicológica de los miedos en nadadores jóvenes en edad escolar primaria fue confirmada por: a) la intensidad de los miedos; b) el número de atletas en el grupo de riesgo y en los grupos con intensidad de miedo baja e intermedia; c) indicador de estado de ansiedad (tanto para todo el grupo de atletas nacidos en 2005 como por separado para niñas y niños); d) nivel de muerte estadísticamente más alto de jóvenes nadadores de UT-1 en 2016 en comparación con 2014 y 2015.
