Due to the importance of maternal health for the development of society and the role of information systems in improving healthcare, this study aims to investigate and analyze the characteristics and topics of articles published in the field of information systems in maternal health. The articles were retrieved from the Web of Science (WoS) on October 23, 2021. The bibliometric indicators included the number of documents and citations, top journals, institutes, and countries. The co-authorship collaboration network of the countries was examined using Bibliometrix 3.1 package and VOSviewer software (ver. 1.6.17). In addition to bibliometric analysis, the related topic modelling was calculated with Non-Matrix Factorization (NMF) algorithm in Python programming language. Overall, 1140 original articles were published in the selected field in the WoS database within the years 1991-2021. The results demonstrated an ascending growth in the number of publications. The "The University of London", the "London School of Hygiene Tropical Medicine", and the "World Health Organization" (WHO) contributed the most to this field orderly. Researchers from the USA with 372 (32.63%), Brazil with 267 (23.42%), and England with 150 (13.2%) documents had the most scientific collaboration on publishing in this regard. The USA and England had the most collaboration in 38 articles in the co-authorship network of countries. Based on topic modelling analysis, five topic clusters, including "maternal mortality", "child and infant mortality", "risk factors related to pregnancy and maternal health", "Geographic Information Systems (GISs)", and "data quality in Health Information Systems (HISs)" were considered for this research. According to the research results, it can be concluded that there is a rising trend in the number of articles published in the field of information systems in maternal health. The USA, Brazil, and England have played a prominent role in scientific production in this regard. Given that this study gives a snapshot of the current status of the research topic and visualizes the collaboration between countries, the obtained results can guide future collaboration and encourage scientific institutes to expand their interactions.

Background: Retraction is a mechanism for correcting the literature and a warning for readers in relation to publications that contain serious flaws or erroneous data. As a result of growth and development of Iranian publications in the last two decades, that brings unethical behavior of researchers led to retraction of their publications. We aimed to investigate Iranian retracted publications indexed in PubMed database. Methods: All Iranian retracted publications published in PubMed up to Dec 2017 have been retrieved. Bibliographic information of retracted publications, retraction notice, time lag between article publication date and the date of retraction notice, reasons of retraction, Issuer of retraction and acknowledge information of retracted publication were recorded. Additionally, citation data of retracted publications before 2013 were analyzed. Results: Overall, 164 Iranian retracted publications were identified. Meantime lag was 20.8 months. "Islamic Azad University" and "Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS)" were two affiliations that have received highest number of retracted publications. The most issuer of retraction publications was editor-in-chief and the most mentioned reasons for retractions were authorship issues, plagiarism, and redundant publication. Thirty-three (20.12%) publications have received funds from various agencies. Citation study of retracted publications indicates that these publications have received 789 citations (Citation per publication=11.6). Conclusion: Although Iranian retracted publications represent small portion of all Iranian publications, but the number of retracted publications has increased. More than half of retracted publications have had authorship issues and plagiarism that requires more attention to research ethics authorities.

Background and Aim: Advances in information and communication technology (ICT) have had a great impact on people’s lives. Beside all the benefits, they have caused some problems such as digital divide. This study aimed to assess digital divide among the faculty members of dental prosthetics departments in dental schools of medical universities in Tehran in 2014. Materials and Methods: This applied research had a descriptive analytical design and was conducted through a survey analysis. The statistical population of this study consisted of all the faculty members of dental prosthetics departments in dental schools of medical universities in Tehran (n=100). Data were collected using a researcher-designed questionnaire; its validity was confirmed by an expert panel and its reliability (α=0.978) was confirmed using Cronbach’s alpha test. The data were analyzed using SPSS version 16and t-test, ANOVA, Chi-square test and the Pearson’s correlation test. Results: A total of 82 questionnaires were filled out and returned by the faculty members. The results showed that 97.5% of the study population had access to computers at home and at work; 96.3% had Internet access at home and 97.5% had access to Internet at work; 51.9% (n=42) of the faculty members used these technologies several times a day; 29.6% (highest frequency) reported average daily use of these technologies to be half an hour to an hour. Marital status and academic ranking had significant effects on the skills of using ICT. Age and years of instruction were also effective on ICT literacy, the ability and skills to use ICT and the requirements to use ICT. Conclusion: Based on the results, marital status, academic ranking, age and years of instruction are effective in use of ICT by the faculty members.
