This manuscript merits at examining of an embedded orthogonal plate inside porous domain exposed to uniform heat influx to elaborate on how micro polar fluid factors and permeability characteristic affect the local skin friction, heating rate, and angular velocity inside boundary layer. The plate is subjected to forced convective micro polar fluid influx under steady, incompressible, and viscous circumstances. To facilitate dependable numerical solution, similarity approach is implemented to mutate set of coupled governing equations relevant to the adopted study into a constrained dimensionless differential equations. Computational analysis has been executed hiring Runge-Kutta scheme by Matlab function bvp4c to settle the governing equations. Study's results are highlighted graphically the impact of micro polar fluid factors on the local skin friction, heating rate, and angular velocity curves. High degree of acceptability of present findings compare with prior research results. It is found that the rising of Darcy parameter drives to decrease linearly both heating rate and local skin friction. Among the examined factors, the benchmark parameter of decreasing skin friction is the porosity. Additionally, it is found that an increasing of Prandtl number and micro rotation element lead to enhance Nusselt number. Once curves of micro rotation are interfered at certain distance from the plate due to increase in porosity, Darcy, Forchheimer's, and microelement rotation, the micro rotation curves are inverted.

Abstract Background and Aims Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a chronic GI disorder that affects people all over the world. Patients frequently look for information about their ailments online. Despite being widely and easily accessible, online information's quality and readability are under doubt. In this investigation, we assessed the effectiveness and usability of IBS Arabic websites found on significant search engines. Methods IBS‐related search terms in Arabic were entered into two search engines (Google and YouTube), and the first 30 websites per word from Google, and the first 20 websites per word from YouTube were assessed for eligibility. Eligible Google websites were assessed for quality and readability, while YouTube websites were assessed for quality. Quality was assessed using the DISCERN score and the JAMA Benchmark. Readability was assessed using the automatic Arabic readability index (AARI). Associations between quality, readability, types of websites (medical/nonmedical), and video length were analyzed. Results For Google: A total of 48 websites were evaluated, mean DISCERN score was 40.4 (SD = 10.28) indicating fair quality. The mean JAMA score was 1.6 (SD = 0.69), with the readability being worse the higher the quality. Medical websites had higher quality scores than nonmedical ones. For YouTube: A total of 34 YouTube videos were evaluated, mean DISCERN score was 34.7 (SD = 7.35), indicating poor quality. The mean JAMA score was 1.4 (SD = 0.72). Medical websites had higher quality scores than nonmedical ones. There was no association between the quality of the videos and their length. Conclusion The majority of websites were of low to fair quality and required a high degree of readability. As a result, we advise (1) healthcare practitioners to offer helpful websites to their patients, and (2) the development of IBS‐related websites under the guidance of experts, with the involvement of patients.

BackgroundTo describe Purtscher's and Purtscher-like retinopathy clinical features, etiologies, management options, and visual outcomes.MethodsOur protocol was registered on PROSPERO [registration number: CRD42023406843]. Seven online databases were searched: PubMed, Scopus, Medline, ScienceDirect, CENTRAL, clinicaltrials.gov, and Google Scholar. Original articles were included if they reported at least one subject diagnosed with Purtscher's or Purtscher-like retinopathy. The primary outcome is to describe the clinical features of Purtscher and Purtscher-like retinopathies, including etiologies, results of related investigations, management lines, and visual outcomes. All analyses were conducted with the use of Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 27 (IBM SPSS Corp, SPSS Statistics ver. 26, USA) and Cochrane's RevMan software. The methodological quality of included studies was assessed using the NIH quality assessment tools.ResultsA total of 114 articles were included, describing 168 cases of Purtscher's and Purtscher-like retinopathy. Patients were evenly distributed between males (50.89%) and females (49.11%). Average age of patients was 34.62 years old. Trauma was the leading cause of retinopathy, being reported in 39.88% of our patients, followed by systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) (13.1%) and acute pancreatitis (11.9%). Bilateral symptoms were reported in 57.7% of patients with centrally blurred vision being the most complained symptom (OS: 34.32% and OD: 18%). 75% of patients elicited bilateral retinal findings. Cotton-wool spots were of highest prevalence (58%). Purtscher flecken was seen in 53% of patients. Macular edema was seen in 13% of patients. Overall, patients had a favorable prognosis (53%).ConclusionPurtscher's and Purtscher-like retinopathies are rare sight-threatening retinopathies that develop most commonly following trauma or other systemic diseases as SLE and acute pancreatitis. Little data is available regarding these conditions, and available data is of low quality. Patients develop bilateral disease in approximately 50% of cases, and several retinal findings are observed, with no specific tendency. Most observed signs are cotton-wool spots in around 55% of patients and Purtscher flecken in 51% of patients. Patients spontaneously recovered, although data is not conclusive. No clear prognostic value of etiological factors is identified, and further research is required in this regard.

Williamson fluid flux and heat transfer characteristics over horizontal plate via a saturated porous medium at constant surface temperature are examined in this study to determine the impact of forced viscous dissipation. The flow is modeled using a Darcy-Forchheimer-Brinkman model based on conservation laws and associated governing equations. Using appropriate dimensionless variables, the modeled governed equations are transformed into dimensionless differential forms. The higher constrained coupled non-linear differential equations have been reduced to the first order differential equations to find a reliable numerical solution. The Runge-Kutta method and the built-in Matlab function bvp4c are applied in the shooting method to produce a numerical solution. The impact of λx, ϵ, ζx, βx on the velocity profile, temperature, shear stress, and skin friction are illustrated graphically. It is found that the increasing of the Darcy number leads to enhance both velocity and shear stress while the temperature and the Nusselt number are diminished inside the boundary layer. Additionally, it is found that the raising Williamson's parameter causes the temperature to rise while decreasing velocity, shear stress, heat transfer coefficient, and Nusselt number inside the boundary layer. The method applied in the current work is supported by earlier research.

This study examines the forced convection of a micropolar fluid (MPF) flow across a vertical permeable plate inside a porous medium. A similar solution is derived for a scenario involving a constant surface temperature. The system of transformed governing equations is addressed by employing a finite‐difference method. Notably, a parametric analysis is conducted to demonstrate how the Prandtl number, micropolar parameters, Darcy number, inertia coefficient (ξ), skin friction (Cf), and Nusselt number (Nu) impact the system. The results are then presented graphically, while the physical aspects of the issue are assessed. Although a larger Nu produced a high wall heat transfer, the Cf values are decreased as ξ increases. The ξ also reduces the local Nu. Compared with Newtonian fluids, the MPF increases Cf and reduces the heat transfer rate. The outcomes are validated by comparing the current results with other related studies. The results of this study are useful for improving the efficiency of solar panels by enhancing their cooling rate. It is also found that increasing the inertia of MPF leads to an increase in the friction coefficient (Cf) while increasing porosity, microrotation parameter n and Fs decreases (Cf). AIM: To share the results of a national screening program for amblyopia in school children in the north of Jordan. METHODS: This is a prospective national screening study for amblyopia. The program rolls first and second-grade children (6 to 7 years old) in the north of Jordan. The eye examination included: best-corrected visual acuity, cover-uncover test, and cycloplegic retinoscopy. Monocular visual acuity was tested using an ETDRS visual acuity chart without correction. Moreover, children were tested with full cycloplegic refraction when the test criteria were met. Unilateral amblyopia was defined as a best-corrected visual acuity difference of 2 or more lines. In comparison, bilateral amblyopia was defined as a best-corrected visual acuity of 20/40 or worse in the best eye. RESULTS: The prevalence of amblyopia for the total sample tested (n=17 203) was 2.78% (n=479). The most common cause of amblyopia was hypermetropia (64.45%), followed by previous ocular surgeries (15.1%), myopia (10.43%), strabismus (9.39%), and congenital cataract (0.63%). CONCLUSION: This is the first and only study, identi?ng modifiable risk factors in Jordanian children with amblyopia. In their first couple of years of elementary education, many Jordanian children are affected by amblyopia and pass unnoticed. A more governmental effort is needed into screening programs to improve vision in the Jordanian population.

This study was conducted to mathematically evaluate the impact of forced convection of viscous dissipation on a porous media filled with Williamson fluid and exposed to fixed surface heat flux. The technique of Darcy_Forchheimer_Brinkman was employed, then the non-dimensional equations were solved numerically over a flat plate by using bvp4c through the MATLAB package. Different parameters were examined including the profiles of velocity, temperature and shear_stress in addition to Nusselt Number. Furthermore, the study evaluated the effects of several essential parameters, including Forchheimer, Darcy, porous media, Williamson, and viscous dissipation, on the temperature and velocity profiles, heat transfer and friction coefficients. The numerical solution results showed that, under high Forchheimer_parameter values, all, shear_stress, Nusselt_number parameter and temperature showed an increase in their values. Also, as Williamson_parameter increased, the shear_stress and boundary layer velocity were improved, while a decrease in Nusselt_number caused an increased in values of temperature profile. Finally, the boundary layer of velocity and shear_stress showed an increase in their values when Darcy parameter increased. On the other hand, a decrease in the temperature profile and Nusselt_number were observed.

The evacuated tube solar collector is considered an efficient, convenient, and economical option used to convert solar energy into heat. In this work, enhancement of evacuated tubes solar collector performance and the potential for energy storage by using Al2O3 water-based nanofluid embedded in Graphite as a saturated porous media was presented and studied theoretically. The Governing equations derived from the principles of conservation of mass, momentum, and energy were written in a dimensionless form, and solved these equations analytically for the fully developed region, and numerically throughout the entrance region, and the heat flux data for Amman, Jordan was used in this study. The analysis of the effect of different parameters as porosity, pore diameter, nanoparticles solid volume fraction, pressure, and radius of conduit on temperature variation through the pipe and Nusselt number was done. The results show that the flow of nanofluid in porous media enhances the evacuated tube's performance compared to just using water in the same medium under the same conditions. In August, the temperature variation in the evacuated tube at the same condition for Al2O3 water-based nanofluid for 1.5% volume fraction reach 42 ℃ and 73 ℃ for 6% volume fraction. In contrast, In January for the 1.5% volume fraction the temperature variation reached 25 ℃ and 43 ℃ for 6% volume fraction. On the other hand, the stored energy approximately reached 30 kJ/kg and 45 kJ/kg for solid volume fraction 1.5% and 6% respectively at the same conditions

Thermal energy storage systems are used mainly in buildings and industrial processes. In this study, solar energy storage by using a circular conduit filled with porous media that is saturated by a non-Newtonian fluid at constant heat flux was represented. The fully developed region was studied by solving the equations analytically, the non-Newtonian fluid parameters used in this model are carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) properties. In addition, graphite was used as porous media. The heat flux data for Amman city was used in the equations in this study. The effect of Porosity and particle diameter and pressure on the performance of the model were discussed and sketched. As a result, the temperature of storage filled with CMC fluid is better than water in porous media. It is found that the power index of the fluid, porosity, particle diameter, pressure drop, and conduit radius effect inversely the temperature in energy storage. In January, the temperature variation in conduit at the same conditions reach for CMC-1 to 35 ℃ for n = 0.724 and to 85 ℃ for n = 0.7182 and to 190 ℃ for n = 0.7122. CMC-2 has a higher consistency index at the same concentration which means higher viscosity and less power index than CMC-1 so the temperature variation in conduit reaches 50 ℃ for n = 0.599 and 200 ℃ for n = 0.57. The stored energy of CMC-1 for n = 0.724, n = 0.7182, and n = 0.7122 is approximately 120 kJ, 300 kJ, and more than 600 kJ respectively, and the stored energy of CMC-2 n = 0.599 and n = 0.57 is 200 kJ and approach to 800 kJ at the same conditions and conduit.

Abstract Bladder cancer is the tenth most common cancer worldwide, where its burden remains a challenge and needs new novel therapies. Several reports indicate expression of CYP4Z1 and CYP1B1 in many tumours. Their expressions are associated with a poor prognosis, and therefore proposed as promising biomarkers or targets for anticancer therapy. By using immunohistochemistry, expression of CYP4Z1 and CYP1B1 was evaluated in a panel of different types of bladder cancer, and the enzymes’ relation to histopathological features were assessed. Results showed an increased expression of CYP4Z1 (54.3%) and CYP1B1 (76.9%) in the majority of bladder cancers compared to weak or lack of expression of both enzymes in normal tissues. Test-taking skills are cognitive skills that enable students to undergo any test-taking situation in an appropriate manner. This study is aimed at assessing the relationship between students' test-taking skills and each of the following variables: motivation to learn mathematics; mathematics anxiety; attitudes towards mathematics; and attitudes towards tests. The study was conducted on a random sample of 626 (372 males and 254 females) secondary school students. The following instruments were used in the data collection: the Test-taking Skills Scale (TSS); the Mathematics Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MMSLQ); the Mathematics Anxiety Scale-Revised (MAS-R); the Mathematics Attitude Inventory (MAI); and the Attitude towards Tests Scale (ATS). A positive and significant relationship was reported between students' test-taking skills and each student's motivation to learn mathematics, attitudes towards mathematics, and attitudes towards tests; while mathematics anxiety was shown to have a significant negative relationship with test-taking skills. Test-taking skills account for more than 30% of the variation in motivation to learn mathematics, 25% in attitudes towards mathematics, 17% in mathematics anxiety, and more than 40% in attitude toward tests. The study concluded the improvement of secondary students' testing skills to be significantly correlated with variables that play a substantial role in a student's level of achievement in mathematics.

The evacuated tube solar collector is a proper choice for converting solar energy into heat since it is efficient, practical, and cost-effective. In the current study, the role of nanofluid in porous medium was numerically investigated to improve the performance of a solar collector model and the potential to store energy. The governing equations for the suggested model were solved analytically in the fully developed region using the Forchheimer model. The investigation of the impact on temperature fluctuation in the solar collector was done by considering several factors such as medium porosity, pore diameter, nanoparticles with respect to the solid volume ratio, system pressure, and conduit radius. The governing equations for the entrance region were expressed in a non-dimensional form and solved using the finite difference method (FDM), with the resulting non-dimensional differential equation solved using MATLAB software. Various parameters, such as Prantel number (Pr) and fluid velocity, were examined, and the findings were shown in various diagrams. For the fully developed region, an analytical solution was obtained, and the findings were presented using the Mathematica ® software. The results demonstrate that utilizing nanofluid and porous media improves the performance of the evacuated tube when compared to sole use of water. It was found that the temperature difference across the solar tube was enhanced by 10%–20%. In addition to that, the performance of the evacuated tube solar collector showed around 10% enhancement in the obtained temperature difference in cold months, when nanofluids were added. Also, the comparison between nanofluids using Forchheimer model shows that the best nanofluid was AL 2 O 3 . The best results had a significant effect on the solid volume fraction rate of nanoparticles in nanofluids obtained at low Reynolds and Prandtl numbers. Where the higher the fraction, the higher the heat transfer, the higher the resulted temperature.

Background. Appendiceal lymphoma is a very rare entity accounting for 0.015% of all gastrointestinal lymphoma cases. Acute appendicitis is the most common presentation of primary appendix neoplasms. Burkitt’s lymphoma presenting as an acute appendicitis is a rare entity with around 21% of the cases presenting as a lower iliac fossa mass. Case Presentation. A 23-year-old male was admitted to the surgical ward as a case of acute appendicitis with localized tenderness in the right iliac fossa, positive rebound tenderness, a positive Rovsing’s sign, and ultrasound findings of suspected complicated appendicitis. Appendectomy was performed. Histopathological examination of the appendectomy specimen revealed a double-expressor non-Hodgkin diffuse large cell lymphoma with Burkitt’s-like morphology. He was sent for chemotherapy treatment. Conclusion. Only 34 cases of Burkitt’s lymphoma have been reported to present as acute appendicitis. Histological examination following appendectomy for an apparent appendicitis is essential. Furthermore, complete blood count and a computed tomography scan aid the diagnosis of lymphoma. Double-expressor lymphoma has been shown to have poor outcomes. Therefore, prompt and aggressive treatment is vital.

Background: The development of colon cancer has been described as a multistep process of carcinogenesis. Understanding molecular and cellular changes underlying this process is required to determine potential biomarkers and therapeutic targets in colon cancers. Several molecular entities, including glypicans, are implicated in cancer development. Among these is glypican-6, which is overexpressed in a limited number of cancers. This study aims to characterise the glypican-6 expression in different types of colon cancer. Methods: Immunohistochemistry was used to characterise glypican-6 expression in a panel of archived formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded colon tissue types. These types included 39 normal colon tissues, 10 colon tubular adenomas, 60 colon adenocarcinomas without metastasis and 60 colon adenocarcinomas with metastasis. Glypican-6 expression relation to demographic and clinicopathologic features was also examined. Results: Glypican-6 was strongly expressed in benign, primary and metastatic colon tumours. Normal tissue samples exhibited low to undetectable levels of glypican-6. A significantly high glypican-6 expression was displayed in colon cancers with lymph node metastasis, high depth of invasion, distant metastasis, high histological grades and late stages of the disease ( P

Extracranial rhabdoid tumor is a rare tumor that can originate in multiple organs, and it is most commonly seen in the kidneys. This tumor has a grave prognosis. We report to the best of our knowledge the first case of infantile scalp extracranial rhabdoid tumor in a 6-month-old male baby who presented with a right parietal scalp mass since the age of 1 month. This mass was initially diagnosed as scalp hemangioma based on clinical and imaging findings. However, this mass was growing fast which necessitated excision. Pathologic examination after excision showed a malignant tumor composed of sheets of rhabdoid cells. Immunohistochemically, this tumor tested positive for vimentin, CD 99, glypican-3, synaptopysin, WT-1, CK, and EMA. INI-1 immunostain was lost in the tumor cells. Subsequently, this tumor was pathologically diagnosed as extracranial scalp rhabdoid tumor. After tumor excision, the patient was referred to pediatric oncology to receive chemotherapy. Experience with scalp extracranial rhabdoid tumors is limited. However, this tumor in other organs carries a grave prognosis. Although scalp extracranial rhabdoid tumor is an extremely rare tumor, it should be kept in mind in the differential diagnosis of infantile scalp masses given the need of combined surgical and chemotherapeutic treatment.

This article examines the stylistic elements of the judicial petition of appeal in the Jordanian courts. It focuses on the specific language and phrases employed in appeals made by certain attorneys to the Court of Cassation and the Court of Appeal. Several of these appeals had unsuitable language and expressions that diminished the prestige and respect of the court, therefore violating the relevant regulations and ethical standards in addressing the judicial body. The study stated that attorneys should refrain from using harsh terms and phrases, based on concrete examples provided. It emphasized the need for lawyers to enhance their discourse style to uphold the reputation of the judiciary and show respect for its rulings. If necessary, the court can impose a sentence on the lawyer. Furthermore, the study emphasizes that the lawyer must exercise caution in selecting their words and phrases, refraining from engaging in defamation or slander.
