In order to study the influencing factors of coal miners’ psychological resilience and to conduct a simple assessment, 13 representative influencing factors of psychological resilience were firstly summarized and extracted from three aspects of coal miners’ personal, work and corporate management. Secondly, the interpretive structure model(ISM) was used to determine the hierarchical relationships among the influencing factors. Then the cross-impact matrix multiplication applied to classification (MICMAC) was used to analyze the driving force and dependence of each influencing factor, and a dependency-driving force diagram was drawn to verify the rationality of the hierarchical relationship between the influencing factors in the ISM. Finally, ten influencing factors were selected as indicators to assess the psychological resilience of coal miners and a simple scale of psychological resilience was developed for application. The study shows that work stress, organizational fairness, organizational support and managerial safety attitudes are fundamental factors in enhancing psychological resilience. The scale assessment results are more reasonable in the light of the actual situation in the mine, and can provide references and suggestions for improving coal miners’ psychological resilience and reducing their unsafe behaviors.

Objective: To evaluate the anti-tumor effector of Liuwei Dihuang Decoction (LWDHD) in prostate cancer (PCa) and explore the potential mechanism using experimental validation, network pharmacology, bioinformatics analysis, and molecular docking. Methods: CCK test, Clone formation assay and wound-healing assays were used to determine the effect of LWDHD on prostate cancer growth and metastasis. The active ingredients and targets of LWDHD were obtained from the TCMSP database, and the relevant targets were selected by GeneCards, OMIM and DisGeNET databases for PCa. The cross-targets of drugs and disease were imported into the STRING database to construct protein interactions. The network was also visualized using Cytoscape software and core targets are screened using the Network Analyzer plug-in. The Gene Ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) pathway enrichment were analyzed using R software. TCGA database was used to analyze the correlation of bioinformatics genes. AutoDock vina was used to predict the molecular docking and binding ability of active ingredients to key targets. Through WB and q-PCR experiments, the above gene targets were detected to verify the effect of LWDHD on PCa. Results: CCK and scratch tests confirmed that LWDHD could inhibit the proliferation, invasion and migration of prostate cancer cells. Clone formation experiments showed that LWDHD inhibited the long-term proliferative capacity of PC3 cells. LWDHD and PCa had a total of 99 common targets, establishing a "drug-ingredient-common target" network. Through GO and KEGG enrichment analysis, PI3K/AKT, MAPK, TP53 pathway, MYC, TNF pathway and other signaling pathways were found. Bioinformatics analysis showed that MYC gene was highly expressed and CCND1 and MAPK1 were low expressed in prostate cancer tissues. In addition, TP53, AKT1, MYC, TNF and CCND1 were positively correlated with MAPK1, among which AKT1 and CCND1 were most closely correlated with MAPK1. Molecular docking results showed that quercetin, kaempferol, β-sitosterol and other main active ingredients of LWDHD treatment for PCa were combined with core proteins MAPK1 and AKT1 well. WB and q-PCR results showed that LWDHD inhibited the expression of PI3K and AKT in PC3 cells. Conclusion: The mechanism of LWDHD therapy for PCa is a multi-target and multi-pathway complex process, which may be related to the biological processes mediated by MAPK1 and AKT1 pathways, such as cell proliferation and inhibition of metastasis, and the regulation of signaling pathways. Introduction: Low estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) is associated with an increased risk of arterial stiffness in participants with kidney damage. It is uncertain whether this association is due to eGFR itself or is mediated by the eGFR-associated increases in fasting blood glucose (FBG). Method: The cross-sectional study included 865 Japanese participants with decreased kidney function, whose eGFR was less than 90 mL/min/1.73 m2, and recruited individuals who received medical healthcare. The mediating variable was FBG, with eGFR as the independent variable and brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity (baPWV) as the dependent variable. A mediation analysis was used to evaluate the mediating effect of FBG on the association between eGFR and arterial stiffness. Results: The mean age of the participants was 51.69 ± 9.25 years old, with 65.90% individuals being male. The mean values for FBG, eGFR, and baPWV were 5.46 ± 0.79 mmol/L, 68.83 ± 10.05 mL/min/1.73 m2, and 1,423.50 ± 247.78 cm/s, respectively. The mediation analysis revealed that eGFR had a significant direct effect on baPWV (β = −25.68 95% CI: −46.42, −7.45), and that FBG played a partial mediating role in the indirect effect of eGFR on baPWV (β = −3.54 95% CI: −11.88, −0.079). Mediation analysis showed that 12.10% of the effect of eGFR on risk of arterial stiffness was mediated through FBG. Conclusion: The study indicated that there is a mediating relationship between eGFR and FBG in people with decreased kidney function, which is associated with the risk of arterial stiffness. The frequent occurrence of various occupational accidents has resulted in significant casualties and occupational disease issues, which hinder economic and social development seriously. The promotion and enhancement of occupational health and safety (OHS) require greater efforts to be made to achieve sustainable economic development, particularly in developing countries. With remarkable progress and achievements that have been made in terms of OHS in China, a systematic and thorough review is needed to gain insight into the development process, current status, and research trends regarding OHS in China. Additionally, pathways for future work need to be discussed to boost the OHS development in China in the new era. Therefore, a systematic literature review is performed in this study to investigate the development of OHS in China with the help of a bibliometric analysis. Firstly, a total of 5675 publications related to OHS in China between 1979 and 2022 were collected from the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) and the Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD) before being refined manually. Then, the temporal distribution and journal sources of the collected publications were analyzed before the collaboration networks of the "productive institutions" and "productive authors" were discussed. Furthermore, the key research topics (e.g., disease prevention, psychological safety, occupational exposure) and dominant research methods (e.g., epidemiological methods, risk modeling) associated with OHS during different periods were identified and discussed based on the keywords and bibliographic analysis. Finally, the current needs and promising pathways for future work were discussed. It is suggested that the prevention and control of conventional and new occupational diseases, the protection of workers' occupational health rights and interests, the development and implementation of advanced technologies for OHS, and the development of more sophisticated and efficient health and safety risk assessment models may be focused on to accelerate the development of OHS in China. This study systematically reviews the development processes, current status, and future prospects regarding OHS in China. The results of this study provide valuable insights for researchers and practitioners who are involved in the Chinese OHS development, and the promising pathways for future works are suggested to boost the OHS development in China. Pipeline transportation has become an effective way to transport sludge from wastewater treatment plants due to its high transportation efficiency, low operating cost, and low environmental pollution. Before designing and optimizing the sludge-conveying pipeline, it is first necessary to analyze the rheological properties of the sludge. In this paper, activated sludge with varying volume concentrations (Cw) of 2.38%, 3.94%, and 5.39% was used as the research object. Under three temperature (T) conditions of 293 K, 298 K, and 303 K, the sludge concentration and temperature were investigated, and based on the results, a rheological model of activated sludge was established. The experimental results indicated that the upward and downward paths of the shear stress change curve were generally similar but did not overlap, and a hysteresis loop was formed between the two due to the characteristics of sludge shear thinning. The limiting viscosity of sludge with different concentrations increased with the increase in sludge concentration. This phenomenon was caused by the differences in the internal flocculent network structure of sludge with different concentrations and the different fluid flow effects. At different shear rates, the shear stress and sludge viscosity in the experiment decreased with the increase in temperature. The stability of the test sludge was weakened with the increase in temperature. Additionally, the viscosity of sludge decreased with the increase in shear rate and then stabilized, exhibiting shear thinning characteristics.
