The field of education is undergoing a digital transformation, and intelligent teaching, as an essential component, combined with modern technology, has contributed significantly to the innovation of teaching methods and learning effects. The innovative teaching system’s application and optimization path of digital technology is explored in depth in this study. Using quantitative and qualitative methods, it explores how digital technology can effectively enhance the intelligence and personalization of the teaching system. The utilization of teaching resources increased by 25% and students’ learning efficiency increased by 30% after digital technology was implemented. In addition, the intelligent teaching platform resulted in a 20% reduction in teaching costs and significantly improved learning quality. Innovative teaching is aided by digital technology, which further enhances the educational impact by optimizing the technology application path.

Background: Studies have shown that fine particulate matter (PM2.5) remains a significant problem in developing countries and plays a critical role in the onset and progression of respiratory illnesses. Circular RNAs (circRNAs) are involved in many pathophysiological processes,but their relationship to PM2.5 pollution is largely unexplored. Objectives: To elucidate the functional role of hsa_circ_0000992 in PM2.5-induced inflammation in a human bronchial epithelial cell line (16HBE) and to clarify whether the competing endogenous RNA (ceRNA) mechanism is involved in the interrelationships between hsa_circ_0000992 and hsa-miR-936 and the inflammatory signaling pathways. Methods: Detection of inflammatory factors in 16HBE cells exposed to PM2.5 by RT-qPCR and ELISA.High throughput sequencing and bioinformatics analysis methods were used to screen circRNA.The bioinformatics analysis method western blotting and dual-luciferase reporter gene system were used to verify mechanisms associated with circRNA. Results: PM2.5 cause inflammation in the 16HBE cells. High throughput sequencing and RT-qPCR result revealed that the expression of hsa_circ_0000992 was markedly up-regulated in 16HBE exposed to PM2.5. The binding sites between hsa_circ_0000992 and hsa-miR-936 was confirmed by dual-luciferase reporter gene system.Western blotting and RT-qPCR showed that hsa_circ_0000992 can interact with hsa-miR-936 to regulate AKT serine/threonine kinase 3(AKT3),thereby activating the PI3K/AKT pathway and ultimately promoting the expression of interleukin (IL)− 1β and IL-8. Conclusion: PM2.5 can induce the inflammatory response in 16HBE cells by activating the PI3K/AKT pathway. The expression of hsa_circ_0000992 increased when PM2.5 stimulated 16HBE cells,and the circRNA could then regulate the inflammatory response.Hsa_circ_0000992 regulates the hsa-miR-936/AKT3 axis through the ceRNA mechanism,thereby activating the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway,increasing the expression of cellular inflammatory factors,and promoting PM2.5-induced respiratory inflammation.

The problem of seasonal drought has intensified in recent years. Unfortunately, dry seasons can lead to poor water quality due to nitrogen (N) accumulation, which, in turn, may result in the gradual decline or even disappearance of submerged plants. This outdoor study was conducted to determine the morphological, biomass responses and C/N metabolism of Vallisneria spinulosa to the high N content and low water level. We used two N contents (i.e., low and high) and three simulated water levels (i.e., gradual water level increase from 60 cm to 150 cm over four periods (C), low water level of 60 cm maintained for three periods followed by an abrupt increase to 150 cm in the fourth period (CE) and low water levels of 60 ± 30 cm maintained for three periods followed by an abrupt increase to 150 cm in the fourth period (E)). For the low N content, low water levels for CE and E treatments caused increased ramet number and biomass of V. spinulosa. However, for the high N content, the low water levels did not cause such big changes in V. spinulosa. High N contents demonstrated a remarkably negative influence on the biomass of each organ (included leaf, stolon, root and tuber) of V. spinulosa and flowering ramet number. For C water level, the high N content caused an increase in free-amino acid (FAA) content in stolons and leaves, and no difference in soluble carbohydrate (SC) content. For E water level, there was no significant increase in FAA content of V. spinulosa under high N treatment; furthermore, there was no significant change in SC content under high N treatment except for leaves. In conclusion, low water levels exacerbated the damage to V. spinulosa caused by high nitrogen level.

IntroductionStroke patients may experience reduced socialization and feelings of isolation due to post-stroke sequelae such as impaired motor function and cognitive deficits. Factors associated with loneliness need to be explored to develop targeted interventions. However, little is known about the impact of self-perceived burden and illness stigma on loneliness in this population.The aim of this study was to explore the mediating effect of stigma on self-perceived burden and loneliness in stroke patients.MethodsThe cluster random sampling method was adopted to select 1028 stroke patients from the neurology department of third-grade A hospitals and second-grade A hospitals in 5 cities of Henan Province from May 2022 to August 2022. A general data questionnaire, self-perceived burden scale, stroke stigma scale, and loneliness scale were used to investigate. The structural equation model was used to analyze the mediating effect of stigma between self-perceived burden and stigma.ResultsThe loneliness of stroke patients was positively correlated with self-perceived burden and stigma. The results of the mediation analysis showed that stigma played a complete mediating role between self-perceived burden and loneliness.DiscussionThe results of the study revealed the relationship between self-perceived burden, stigma, and loneliness in stroke patients. Stigma mediated the relationship between self-perceived burden and loneliness in this population.Stigma should be emphasized as an important modifiable psychological factor that affects loneliness of stroke patients.

Kawasaki disease (KD) is an acute autoimmune vascular disease featured with a long stage of febrile. It predominantly afflicts children under 5 years old and causes an increased risk of cardiovascular combinations. The onset and progression of KD are impacted by many aspects, including genetic susceptibility, infection, and immunity. In recent years, many studies revealed that miRNAs, a novel class of small non-coding RNAs, may play an indispensable role in the development of KD via differential expression and participation in the central pathogenesis of KD comprise of the modulation of immunity, inflammatory response and vascular dysregulation. Although specific diagnose criteria remains unclear up to date, accumulating clinical evidence indicated that miRNAs, as small molecules, could serve as potential diagnostic biomarkers and exhibit extraordinary specificity and sensitivity. Besides, miRNAs have gained attention in affecting therapies for Kawasaki disease and providing new insights into personalized treatment. Through consanguineous coordination with classical therapies, miRNAs could overcome the inevitable drug-resistance and poor prognosis problem in a novel point of view. In this review, we systematically reviewed the existing literature and summarized those findings to analyze the latest mechanism to explore the role of miRNAs in the treatment of KD from basic and clinical aspects retrospectively. Our discussion helps to better understand the pathogenesis of KD and may offer profound inspiration on KD diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis.

ObjectiveTo explore the relationship between physical activity and prosocial behavior in college students, and to examine whether self-perception and gender may play mediating and moderating roles, respectively, in that relationship.MethodsThe International Physical Activity Questionnaire-long form, Prosocial Tendencies Measure, and Self-perception Scale were used to survey 647 college students in Yangzhou, China. Internal consistency testing, one-way analyses of variance (ANOVAs) across physical activity levels, exploratory factor analysis, correlation testing, mediation effect testing (independent variable, physical activity; mediating variable, self-perception; dependent variable, prosocial behavior), bootstrap testing and moderated mediation testing were conducted.ResultsPhysical activity level was not found to be a direct predictor prosocial behavior in college students. Self-perception was found to play a mediating role between physical activity and prosocial behavior.ConclusionPhysical activity is not directly predictive college students' prosocial behavior tendencies, but it is indirectly predictive through self-perception. This study explores the relationship between the three variables and the path of the relationship, deepening the research related to the relationship between physical activity and prosocial behavior, providing ideas for fostering prosocial behavior in Chinese universities, as well as providing a theoretical basis for possible future empirical research.

BackgroundApparent diffusion coefficients (ADCs) obtained with diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) are highly valuable for the detection and staging of prostate cancer and for assessing the response to treatment. However, DWI suffers from significant anatomic distortions and susceptibility artifacts, resulting in reduced accuracy and reproducibility of the ADC calculations. The current methods for improving the DWI quality are heavily dependent on software, hardware, and additional scan time. Therefore, their clinical application is limited. An accelerated ADC generation method that maintains calculation accuracy and repeatability without heavy dependence on magnetic resonance imaging scanners is of great clinical value.ObjectivesWe aimed to establish and evaluate a supervised learning framework for synthesizing ADC images using generative adversarial networks.MethodsThis prospective study included 200 patients with suspected prostate cancer (training set: 150 patients; test set #1: 50 patients) and 10 healthy volunteers (test set #2) who underwent both full field-of-view (FOV) diffusion-weighted imaging (f-DWI) and zoomed-FOV DWI (z-DWI) with b-values of 50, 1,000, and 1,500 s/mm2. ADC values based on f-DWI and z-DWI (f-ADC and z-ADC) were calculated. Herein we propose an ADC synthesis method based on generative adversarial networks that uses f-DWI with a single b-value to generate synthesized ADC (s-ADC) values using z-ADC as a reference. The image quality of the s-ADC sets was evaluated using the peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR), root mean squared error (RMSE), structural similarity (SSIM), and feature similarity (FSIM). The distortions of each ADC set were evaluated using the T2-weighted image reference. The calculation reproducibility of the different ADC sets was compared using the intraclass correlation coefficient. The tumor detection and classification abilities of each ADC set were evaluated using a receiver operating characteristic curve analysis and a Spearman correlation coefficient.ResultsThe s-ADCb1000 had a significantly lower RMSE score and higher PSNR, SSIM, and FSIM scores than the s-ADCb50 and s-ADCb1500 (all P < 0.001). Both z-ADC and s-ADCb1000 had less distortion and better quantitative ADC value reproducibility for all the evaluated tissues, and they demonstrated better tumor detection and classification performance than f-ADC.ConclusionThe deep learning algorithm might be a feasible method for generating ADC maps, as an alternative to z-ADC maps, without depending on hardware systems and additional scan time requirements.

Abstract Background Cognitive deficits are common in patients with bipolar disorder (BD). Abnormal high density lipoprotein (HDL) levels have been implicated in cognitive deficits associated with ageing and neurodegenerative disorders. The present study aimed to investigate serum HDL levels, cognitive deficits and their association in patients with BD. Methods Thirty-seven patients with BD and 37 gender- and age-matched healthy controls (HCs) were recruited in a case–control study. Cognition was assessed using the Repeatable Battery for the Assessment of Neuropsychological Status (RBANS), and serum HDL levels were measured using enzymatic colourimetry. Results There was no difference in serum HDL levels between patients with BD and HCs after adjusting for gender, age, education and body mass index (BMI). Cognitive test scores in patients with BD were significantly lower than those in HCs except for the visuospatial/constructional index after adjusting for confounding variables. Serum HDL levels were positively correlated with RBANS total score and language score in patients with BD. Stepwise multiple regression analysis showed that serum HDL levels were significantly correlated with RBANS total score and subscale scores on immediate memory and language in patients with BD after adjusting for confounding factors. Conclusions Our findings suggest that patients with BD had poorer cognitive performance than HCs except for the visuospatial/constructional domain, and decreased serum HDL levels were correlated with cognitive deficits, especially in immediate memory and language domains in patients with BD.

The methane dehydro-aromatization reaction (MDA) is a promising methane valorization process due to the conversion of methane to value-added aromatics (benzene, toluene and naphthalene). However, one of the major disadvantages of utilizing zeolite in MDA is that the catalyst is rapidly inactivated due to coke formation, which eventually causes the activity and aromatic selectivity to decrease. Consequently, the process is not conducive to large-scale industrial applications. The reasonable control of Mo site distribution on the zeolite surface is the key factor for partially inhibiting the coking of the catalyst and improving stability. Here, MoO3 nanobelts can be used for alternative Mo precursors to prepare MDA catalysts. Catalysts modified with MoO3 nanobelts present higher activity (13.4%) and benzene yield (9.2%) than those catalysts loaded with commercial MoO3.

Falls happen when the center of mass of body is outside of its base of support and the recovery of the center of mass back to the base of support failed. Balance ability is an essential ability needed for humans' daily routine activities. Improving balance ability should result in a better and more convenient way of living. There are various factors influence on balance ability. The focus of this paper is to investigate which factors have the greatest effect on balance. Balance ability is measured by deviations of center of pressure in both x-direction (side-to-side) and y-direction (front-to-back) with the age, height, body mass index, and location of body center of mass. Coordinates of subject's joints were tracked and recorded by a motion capture system with three cameras and then were used to calculate the coordinates of segment's mass center. The coordinates of whole body mass center were determined using the weighted segmental method. The trajectories of the center of pressure were tracked and recorded by a Wii balance board under five standing postures and slow sway movement along x-direction (side-to-side) situations. The information obtained from the center of mass and the center of pressure data analysis may assist with fall prediction and prevention. With a basic training on system operation, laypersons may use this affordable low cost system at home as an exercise tool to improve balance capability and reduce fall risk factors.

Implementation, experimental evaluation and stability analysis of an admittance-controlled teleoperated pneumatic system is presented. A master manipulator navigates a pneumatic slave actuation, which interacts with a human arm as an environment. Considering the external force in the position control loop in the admittance control, enables the slave to handle the external force independent of the master. The proposed control system is evaluated experimentally using the admittance models with different settings. Stability of the control system is analyzed using the concept of Lyapunov exponents. Parametric stability analysis is conducted to show the effect of changing system parameters on stability.

Fifty 18-day-old broilers were used to investigate the effects of 30% energy restriction from 18∼48 d on growth and slaughter performance, serum biochemical parameters, and gene expression of WDTC1 and Lpin2 in hepatic tissue. Fifty 18-day-old Arbor Acres female broilers were randomly divided to ad libitum group (control) and energy restriction group (experimental) and housed individually. The ad libitum group broilers were fed ad libitum with control diet, while energy restriction broilers were subjected to 30% metabolizable energy restriction (the supply of other nutrients was the same as that of ad libitum broilers). The results showed that: (1) Energy restriction significantly increased the feed efficiency (gain/feed) of birds. The average daily gain, the relative weight gain and the feed efficiency of energy restriction broilers were lower than that of ad libitum broilers during the earlier stage of the experiment (from 18∼39 d). While at latter stage of experiment (from 40∼48 d), the average daily gain, the relative weight gain and the feed efficiency of energy restriction broilers were higher than that of ad libitum broilers. (2) Energy restriction significantly reduced the abdominal fat ratio and the subcutaneous fat thickness, increased the muscle stomach weight, muscle stomach ratio, glandular stomach ratio, pancreas ratio, spleen ratio and the bursa of Fabricius ratio. There was no significant difference in leg muscle ratio and breast muscle ratio between control and experimental groups. (3) Energy restriction significantly increased serum superoxide dismutase, alkaline phosphatase, and serum uric acid, decreased serum total cholesterol, hig-density lipids, malondialdehyde, lactate dehydrogenase and blood urea nitrogen. (4) Energy restriction significantly elevated Lpin2 expression level in hepatic tissue, whereas it did not significantly affect the expression of chicken WDTC1 gene in hepatic tissue.

The hydrofluoric acid-resisting aluminum compounds (AlF3, AlPO4, AlN) supported with Ni catalyst were prepared by the wetness impregnation and tested for dehydrofluorination of hydrofluoroalkane to synthesize fluoroolefins. It is found that Ni/AlF3 catalyst has the best catalytic performance, CF3CFH2 conversion of 29.3% after the reaction at 430 °C for 30 h, CF2HCH3 conversion of 31.8% after the reaction at 250 °C for 30 h, respectively. Comparatively, dehydrofluorination temperature of CF3CFH2 is higher than CF2HCH3 over the aluminum compounds catalyst, and the activity of catalysts is related with Lewis acidity. For the aluminum compounds catalyst, addition of Ni had promoted the activity and stability of Lewis acidic catalysts, it is attributed to synergistic catalysis of Lewis acid sites and Ni.

Given the significance of education in Chinese culture and based on the contextual model of parenting style (Darling & Steinberg, Psychological Bulletin, 113, 487-496, 1993 (See CR14)), the present study attempted to explain the association between parental expectations and students' educational expectations in Chinese families by testing the potential moderating role of the training parenting style, a parenting style that is based on Chinese culture. 281 Chinese adolescent-parent dyads, including early adolescents (49.5% girls, M.sub.age = 12.54) and one of their parents (70.5% mothers, M.sub.age = 40.91), completed two versions of a self-report survey questionnaire. Results indicated that parental expectations exerted influence on students' educational expectations with perceived parental expectations as a mediator. Moreover, training parenting style moderated the relationship between parental expectations and perceived parental expectations. High training parenting style buffered the effect of low parental expectations on perceived parental expectations.
