The authors of this paper analyze the necessity and possibility of constructing and implementing world sustainability model. The starting point of the research is the fact that nature — society — humanity represent unique system elements which are built up on each other. Due to the aforementioned, world management in terms of securing stable and sustainable development is not possible without comprehending self-regulating mechanisms of nature and society. During the research, on the one hand, the authors have made a devastating conclusion: self-regulating mechanisms of nature and society have completely collapsed in contemporary state of affairs. On the other hand, all attempts of constructing world sustainability models have failed, and work on their construction has been suspended. This primarily means that world project management, and thus world management, is impossible. In conclusion, the authors state the reasons which prevent world management form being accomplished and point to the new concept of sustainable development which promises a way out of today's dead-end.

This work presents an integrated approach to pathophysiological and pharmacological basis of allergic asthma as a blueprint of interdisciplinary multilevel intelligent system research. Intelligent system based healthcare promises improved prevention, diagnosis, treatment, prognosis and reduced costs. The aim of this work is to review the pathophysiological and pharmacological basis of these systems, emphasize the need for interdisciplinary multilevel collaboration in order to achieve optimal research results.

Intelligent systems often show incompatibility between healthcare levels. The work of medical professionals on each stage is often individual; multilevel interdisciplinary consultations, consilia, diagnostic and a coordinated approach is limited by existing differences. The aim of this work is to point out potential benefits of integrating healthcare levels on the basis of intelligent systems.

In education today distance education students can easily integrate into almost all types of classes except when it comes to laboratory measurements. The laboratory measurements require physical presence of the student in the laboratory. When physical presence of the students is not possible the only way to perform the measurements is to alter the exercises to compensate for deficiency in equipment for remote access which results in separate exercises for distance education students. The purpose of this research was to find ways to integrate the distance education students into the laboratory for mechatronical measurements, without the physical presence or altering the laboratory exercise so regular and distance education students can attend to the same classes. The equipment is comprised of web cameras, National Instruments hardware and graphical user interface for remote access.

The human factor is the cause, interacting party and object of intelligent systems in medicine. This paper deals with the failures of successful interaction between medical hardware, software and personnel which ultimately leads to medical errors; their correlation to medical legal consequences, costs, usability and safety discussing possible amendments. The present work besides presenting a multilevel and interdisciplinary theoretical and practical approach, researched practical cases having direct influence on morbidity and mortality.

Medical informatics finds wide use on all the levels of healthcare. Intelligent medical systems are successfully applied at all 5 degrees of preserving health: the promotion of health, specific medical prevention, early diagnosis and therapy, sequel prevention and rehabilitation. In conditions of intensive changes and development, when the Serbian healthcare system is in the process of radical reorganization, especially in the present year of 2012, new challenges and needs are created for the implementation of newer, more modern intelligent systems on all the levels of health care. The present work is dealing with the analysis of benefits and challenges which are the result of applied and planned information systems in our country.

This development opened the way for the creation of mobile devices with the graphical and sound interfaces in order to simplify and enhance the communication between people and machines. Additional adjustment to this hardware, primarily dictated by the software, led to the possibility of improving the methods and the speed in which the students absorb the new knowledge. Currently there are no standardized solutions in the education that regulates use of the electronic devices as aid in the classes. The proposed system incorporates not only custom-designed devices for the education but also allows the integration with available technical solutions.

Neuro-fuzzy systems are widely used in both applied and experimental medicine and are one of the most modern subjects of today's Medical Informatics. Despite the initial refuse of their use due to informatical, economical, educational and other reasons, these systems are widely accepted in medical institutions operating in all levels of healthcare. The accuracy of some up-to-date neuro-fuzzy systems today matches or even surpasses the diagnostic abilities of physicians, thus holding an important role in risk-assessment and diagnostics in medicine. This work deals with newer applications of these systems in medicine along with the possibility of their implementation in the region of Central Europe.

The application of neuro-fuzzy systems in the fields of medical sciences are increasing in parallel with the rapid evolution of diagnostic and treatment procedures in medicine. Contemporary literature provides us with many examples that this cooperation has brought many benefits in the fields of diagnostics and risk assessment in medicine. In Serbia, similar to those more developed countries, these systems have found their application from all branches from primary to tertial health care and in those institutions that work on more than one levels of healthcare. It seems that the well documented initial refuse towards the use of neuro-fuzzy systems by physicians starts lose its power.
