This study was conducted to determine nurses’ level of knowledge regarding the most frequently administered drug and affecting factors. This cross‐sectional and correlational study consisted of 167 nurses working in adult surgical and internal medicine clinics and intensive care units. The data were collected via the online data collection system. The structured data collection form, created by the authors, which includes questions to determine the descriptive characteristics of nurses and their level of knowledge regarding drugs were used for data collection. It was determined that only 14.4% of the nurses found their level of pharmacology as sufficient. 63.5% of the nurses gave correct answers to pharmacological class of drugs, 11.4% correct answers to the drug mechanisms and 53.9% of the nurses gave and the cases in which drugs are used. Bu araştırmanın amacı; hemşirelik öğrencilerinin, uzaktan eğitimle video temelli yürütülen Sağlığın Değerlendirilmesi dersi laboratuvar uygulamasındaki beceri düzeylerinin ve görüşlerinin değerlendirilmesidir. Öğrenciler, becerilerin video kaydını yapıp yükledikten sonra eğitimciler ile birebir çevrimiçi eğitim oturumlarına katılmışlardır. Araştırmanın verileri, Şubat-Mart 2021 tarihinde “Anket Formu” ve “Beceri Değerlendirme Aracı” kullanılarak elektronik ortamda toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde tanımlayıcı istatiksel yöntemler kullanmıştır. Öğrencilerin beceri puanlarının ortalaması 92.05±6.50 (min-max:76.60-100), her bir muayenenin video kaydını yapmak ve yüklemek için harcanan sürenin ortalaması 2.80±2.13(min-max:1-10) saat, uygulamadan memnuniyet ortalaması 8.50 ± 1.70 (min-max:4-10), ders sonunda öğrencilerin kazandıkları fiziksel muayene yapma becerisi ortalamasının ise 7.23±1.36 (min-max:4-10) olduğu belirlenmiştir. Öğrencilerin %80.8’i derste kullanılan yöntemi yeterli bulurken, %92.3’ü fizik muayene becerilerinin ve kendine güvenlerinin geliştiğini ifade etmiştir. Ayrıca, öğrencilerin; %50’si gerçek hasta üzerinde becerileri yapabileceğinden emin olmadığını, %96.2’si birebir eğitim oturumlarında geliştirmesi gereken uygulamaları fark ettiğini, en çok zorluğu muayenenin video kaydını yapma ve yükleme ile aile bireylerini/arkadaşlarını muayene etmek için ikna etmekte yaşadıklarını, %69.2 si ise bu yöntemi önerdiklerini belirtmişlerdir. Sonuç olarak, öğrencilerin fiziksel değerlendirme becerilerinin geliştiği ve bu yöntemle ilgili olumlu görüşlerinin olduğu ortaya koyulmuştur. The study sample is consisted of 26 sophomore nursing students who took the Health Assessment Course laboratory practice by distance education. After students recorded and uploaded skills videos, they participated one to one online education sessions with the educators. The data of the research were collected online between February-March 2021 by using “Questionnaire Form” and “Skill Assessment Tool”. Descriptive statistical methods were used in the analysis of the data. It has been determined that, the students' average skill scores were 92.05±6.50 (min-max:76.60-100), the average time of recording and uploading examination video was 2.80±2.13 (min-max:1-10) hours, the average satisfaction with the application was 8.50±1.70 (min-max:4-10), and the average physical examination skills acquired by the students at the end of the course was 7.23±1.36 (min-max:4-10). While 80.8% of the students found the method used in the course adequate, 92.3% stated that their physical examination skills and self-confidence improved. Additionally, of the students; 50% expressed uncertainty about performing the skills on real patients, 96.2% stated that they noticed the skills that needed to be developed in one to one education sessions, they had the most difficulty in making and uploading a video recording of the examination and convincing their family members/friends for examination, and 69.2% recommended this method. As a result, it has been revealed that students' physical assessment skills improved and they had positive opinions about this method.

Araştırma, kurutulmuş siyah çayın kalitesi üzerine sürgün dönemi (1, 2 ve 3. sürgün dönemi), yetiştiricilik bölgesi (Artvin, Rize ve Trabzon) ve rakımın (0-100 ve 300-400) etkisini belirlemek amacı ile yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada, 2017 vejetasyon periyoduna ait kurutulmuş siyah çaylar bitkisel materyal olarak kullanılmıştır. Örneklerde ekstrakt, kuru madde, toplam kül, selüloz, kafein, theaflavin, thearubigin, theaflavin/thearubigin, polifenol, total flavonoid, antioksidan aktivitesi, tadım, parlaklık ve renk özellikleri incelenmiştir.Sürgün dönemleri verileri ışığında, genel olarak ilk sürgünlerin daha yüksek ekstrakt, kafein, theaflavin, theaflavin/thearubigin, polifenol, parlaklık ve renge sahip olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Hâlbuki kuru madde, toplam kül, selüloz, thearubigin ve toplam flavonoid bakımından 3. sürgünlerin daha zengin içeriğe sahip olduğu görülmüştür. Fabrika (rakım) ortalamalarına bakıldığında, ekstrakt bakımından Kemalpaşa ve Araklı; kuru madde bakımından Muratlı ve Ambarlık; kafein bakımından Araklı; theaflavin bakımından Ambarlık ve Araklı; Thearubigin bakımından Ardeşen; Theaflavin/thearubigin bakımından Araklı; polifenol bakımından Ardeşen ve Araklı; toplam flavonoid bakımından Ambarlık; parlaklık ve renk bakımından Araklı fabrikalarında işlenen kuru çayların diğer fabrikalarda işlenenlere kıyasla daha yüksek kaliteye sahip olduğu tespit edilmiştir.İl ortalamaları ışığında, Trabzon ilinde yetişen çayların diğer illere kıyasla daha yüksek kuru madde, toplam kül, kafein, theaflavin, theaflavin/thearubigin oranı, parlaklık ve renk kalitesine sahip olduğu saptanmıştır. Aksine Rize ilinde yetişen çaylardan daha yüksek polifenol, total flavonoid, antioksidan aktivitesi ve duyusal kalite elde edilmiştir. Thearubigin içeriği bakımından ise Artvin ilinde yetişen çayların, diğer illerdekilere kıyasla daha yüksek içeriğe sahip olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak, kurutulmuş sihay çayın kalitesi üzerine sürgün dönemi, yetiştiricilik bölgesi ve rakım gibi faktörlerin etki ettiği açığa çıkarılmıştır. Çalışmamızda Trabzon ve Rize ilinde yetişen kurutulmuş siyah çayların pek çok kalite parametresi yönünden daha yüksek içeriğe sahip olduğu ifade edilebilir. Dried black teas of 2017 vegetation period were used as plant material for the study. Extract, dry matter, total ash, cellulose, caffeine, theaflavin, thearubigin, theaflavin/ thearubigin, polyphenol, total flavonoid, antioxidant activity, taste, luster and color prcperties were examined in the samples.According to the data of the shooting periods, it was found out that the first shoots in general had higher extracts, caffeine, theaflavin, theaflavin/thearubigin, polyphenol, luster and color. In contrast, 3rd shoots have been found to have a richer dry substance, total ash, cellulose, thearubigin, and total flavonoid content. When the factory (altitude) averages were examined, it was determined that the dry tea processed in Kemalpaşa and Araklı factories in terms of extract, Muratlı and Ambarlık in terms of dry substance; Araklı in terms of caffeine; Ambarlık and Araklı in terms of theaflavin; Ardeşen in terms of thearubigin; Araklı in terms of theaflavin/thearubigin; Ardeşen and Araklı in terms of polyphenol; Ambarlık in terms of total flavonoid and Araklı in terms of luster and color were of higher quality compared to those processed in other factories.In terms of provincial averages, tea grown in Trabzon proved to have higher dry substance, total ash, caffeine, theaflavin/thearubigin ratio, luster and color quality compared to other provinces. On the contrary, higher polyphenol, total flavonoid, antioxidant activity and sensory quality were obtained from the tea grown in Rize province. In terms of thearubigin content, tea grown in Artvin province has been found to have higher content compared to other provinces.As a result, it was revealed that factors such as shooting period, cultivation area and altitude affect the quality of dried black tea. Araştırma, aile merkezli bakım modeline temellendirilmiş hemşirelik girişimlerinin preterm bebek ve aile üzerine etkisini belirlemek amacıyla, metadolojik ve yarı deneysel çalışma olarak yapılmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntem: : Çalışmanın örneklemini, Nisan 2017- Mayıs 2018 tarihleri arasında İstanbul'da hizmet veren bir Üniversite Hastanesi'nin Yenidoğan Yoğun Bakım Ünitesi'nde yatan preterm bebekler ve anneleri oluşturmuştur. Araştırmanın ilk aşaması olan, `Yenidoğan Yoğun Bakım Ünitesinde Ebeveyn Memnuniyet Ölçeği`nin geçerlik güvenirlik çalışması 290 ebeveyn ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın ikinci aşamasını oluşturan `benzer olmayan gruplarda son-test kontrol gruplu yarı deneysel çalışmada, kontrol grubu için 64, deney grubu için 64 olmak üzere toplam 128 preterm bebek ve annesi araştırmanın örneklemini oluşturmuştur.Bu aşamada deney grubuna aile merkezli bakım modeline temellendirilmiş hemşirelik girişimleri, kontrol grubundaki preterm bebek ve annelerine, ünitenin standart bakım prosedürü uygulanmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri; Aile Bilgi Formu, Preterm Bilgi Formu, Yenidoğan Yoğun Bakımda Ebeveyn Memnuniyet Ölçeği, Maternal Bağlanma Ölçeği, Ebeveyn Katılımı Tutum Ölçeği ile toplanmıştır. Veri analizinde; yüzdelik, aritmetik ortalama, t testi, ki kare, Mann- Whitney U, Pearson Ki-kare, tek yönlü varyans analizi (İleri analizi Bonferroni testi) testleri kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Yenidoğan Yoğun Bakım Ünitesi'nde Ebeveyn Memnuniyet Ölçeği'nin, test-tekrar test güvenirliğinin toplam ölçek için sınıf içi korelasyon katsayısı .999, beş alt boyutu için .997-.999 arasında, Cronbach alfa katsayısının .98 olduğu bulunmuştur. Bu bulgular doğrultusunda ölçeğin geçerli ve güvenilir bir araç olarak kullanılabilir olduğu saptanmıştır. Aim: This study aimed to improve nurses’ attitudes towards parental engagement and to examine the impact of implementing nursing interventions related to family-centred care on neonatal and parental outcomes in a university hospital in Turkey. Methods: A quasi-experimental, nonequivalent, and post-test research design was used. Using convenience sampling, the study was completed with 128 preterm infants and their parents, including 64 in the experimental group and 64 in the control group at a neonatal intensive care unit of a university hospital. The control group data were collected from medical records and parents before practising family-centred nursing interventions developed for the experimental group. In addition, nurses were given a four hour training session aimed to improve their attitudes towards parental participation in care, with the nurses’ attitudes measured before, immediately after, and one month after the training. The experimental group data were collected from medical records and parents after 10 nursing interventions based on family-centred care supported by managers began to be implemented by trained nurses in the neonatal intensive care unit. The Parent-Preterm Infant Characteristics Form, Maternal Attachment Inventory, Empowerment of Parents in the Intensive Care-Neonatology (EMPATHIC-N), and Parental Engagement Attitude Scale were used for the data collection. Findings: While nurses’ scores of attitudes toward parental participation obtained immediately after and one month after the training were higher than those before the training, the scores one month after were lower compared to those immediately after. The results indicated that discharge weight gain of infants in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group and that there was no significant difference between the groups in length of stay at neonatal intensive care unit. The maternal attachment and satisfaction scores of the parents in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group. Madde bağımlılığı tüm dünya ülkelerinin karşı karşıya olduğu en önemli sorunlardan birisidir. Bu sorun Türkiye’de son yıllarda özellikle genç nüfusta artmakta ve bu artış, yakın gelecekte Türkiye’nin en önemli sorunlarından birisinin madde bağımlılığı olabileceğini göstermektedir. Madde kullanımı sorununun çözümünde yardımcı olabilecek en uygun programların önleme ve erken müdahale programları olduğu bildirilmektedir. Önleme programlarının başarılı olabilmesi için öncelikle risk altındaki çocuk ve ergenlerin saptanması, hangi bireysel ve çevresel faktörlerin adölesan çağında madde kullanımı açısından risk oluşturduğunun ya da koruyucu olduğunun bilinmesi gerekir. Madde bağımlılığı sadece sağlık boyutu olan tek boyutlu bir konu değildir. Madde bağımlılığının sağlık dışında, kamusal, sosyal, hukuki ve idari birçok yönü vardır. Bu çok yönlü soruna bağlı olarak madde bağımlılığını önleme faaliyetlerini de çok yönlü olarak ele almak bir zorunluluktur. Bu bağlamda, hükümetler başta olmak üzere sivil toplum kuruluşları, öğretmenler, aileler ile birlikte özellikle toplum sağlığı alanında çalışan hemşire ve diğer sağlık profesyonellerine önemli sorumluluklar düşmektedir. Bu makalede, madde kullanımında risk oluşturan temel etmenler, madde kullanımının önlenmesine yönelik yapılan önleme programları, çocuk ve ergenlerin bilinçlendirilmesi ile madde bağımlılığın önlenmesinde hemşirelerin rolleri tartışılacaktır. Abstract: Substance addiction is one of the most important problems all around the World. Recently this problem has become a very important issue in Turkey particularly among the young population and seems it will increase in near future. It is indicated that the most appropriate program for solving the substance addiction is prevention and early intervention programs. In order to have success in prevention programs, it is important to identify kids and adolescents who are under the risk for addiction, determine their risks based on the personal and environmental factors of adolescents substance abuse or what are the preventing factors of addiction. Substance abuse is not only a health matter issue. It has so many other aspects such as social, juristical and public. Substance abuse and its prevention must be taking seriously based on these aspects. In this context huge responsibility should be shared by particularly the governments, NGOs, teachers, families and healthcare professionals.
