In this project we have designed an adjustable hearing aid by using android smartphone application via Bluetooth connection for controlling the amplification process. Arduino Nano is used to execute all commands and HC-06 Bluetooth module is used in this system. The Bluetooth connection transmit the data to Arduino to provide digital outputs to the programmable gain amplifiers (PGA) and outputs the tone during the tuning state. The final constructed hearing aid’s device was experimented on different set of people with different hearing loss degree .The final test showed that the device could improve the hearing for people with partial hearing problems. Rehabilitation robots have become one of the main technical instruments that Treat disorder patients in the biomedical engineering field. The robotic glove for the rehabilitation is basically made of specialized materials which can be designed to help the post-stroke patients. In this paper, a review of the different types of robotic glove for Rehabilitation have been discussed and summarized. This study reviews a different mechanical system of robotic gloves in previous years. The selected studies have been classified into four types according to the Mechanical Design: The first type is a tendon-driven robotic glove. The second type of robotic glove works with a soft actuator as a pneumatic which is operated by air pressure that passes through a plastic pipe, pressure valves, and air compressor. The third type is the exoskeleton robotic gloves this type consists of a wearable mechanical design that can used a finger-based sensor to measure grip strength or is used in interactive video applications. And the fourth type is the robotic glove with a liner actuator this type consists of a tape placed on the fingers and connected to linear actuators to open and close the fingers during the rehabilitation process. In this study, a DHT22 sensor was used based on the Arduino platform for the purpose of measuring and monitoring the humidity in the incubator during the period of treatment of new-borns suffering from jaundice. This system was adopted because it has a range of advantages that make it accessible to researchers as it does not need a highly experienced or specialist operator because it is easy to use as well as low-cost. The use of this system provides continuous and real monitoring of the humidity in the incubator to help determine the effect of humidity on the treatment period of the child with jaundice in the hospital. This study is used for measuring the temperature of incubator during its used in the treatment of newborns who suffering from jaundice. The present system is characterized as low cost, easy to use and does not require a highly skilled operator, in which that used of DHT22 sensor based on the Arduino hardware platform. This system facilitates the continuous monitoring and the true knowledge of the temperature of the incubator for determination the period of stay of the child with jaundice in the hospital. In addition, the current system represents not only the possibility of knowing the temperature of the incubator but also a tool to assess the incubator's performance, and find out the percentage of error in the temperature and the difference between the required temperature and the real temperature. Background: Navigation technique facilitates reaching deeply seated masses more precisely with the least sacrifice of normal tissues. There are 2 primary navigation systems: electromagnetic and infrared (optical). The technique is based on recording the head position intraoperatively and merging this image with preoperative magnetic resonance imaging., Methods: We tried to replace these conventional navigating systems with a simple technique using free software (3-dimensional slicer) and a computer air mouse. The study was designed into 3 stages. In stage 1, we used this method on 3-dimensional printed models of patients' magnetic resonance images with deeply seated brain tumors. In stage 2, we performed the surgeries on patients. In the last stage, we used both the conventional navigation system with our method simultaneously on the same patients and compared the accuracy of both methods., Results: This new system was as accurate as conventional navigating systems, ranging from ±2 mm., Conclusions: This new technique, if done properly, can replace conventional methods with less time of preparation, and its cost is almost free., (Copyright © 2022 The Authors.
