There are a fair number of papers presenting the outcomes of total hip arthroplasty with shortening subtrochanteric osteotomy in neglected hip dislocation. In most of them the authors used long modular stems or Wagner stems as a femoral component. The reports describing the outcomes of such procedures with standard femoral stems are rather rare.The purpose of this study was to evaluate short-term and medium-term outcomes of total hip arthroplasty with standard femoral stems and shortening subtrochanteric osteotomy for treatment of high hip dislocation.Materials and methods. From 2010 to 2016 the authors performed 18 hip arthroplasties with shortening subtrochanteric osteotomy in 16 patients with high hip dislocation. All patients were clinically evaluated using Harris Hip Score and radiography prior to and after the surgery.Results. The mean Harris Hip Score significantly improved compared to preoperative values from 39.7±1.4 to 84.7±1.6. At mean follow-up of 24±2.4 mounts the authors observed 2 case of nonunion at osteotomy site and 1 case of transient nerve palsy. Revision surgery was performed in 2 patients due to nonunion. The mean limb lengthening was 3.65±0.21 cm.Conclusion. Our data demonstrated that total hip arthroplasty with subtrochanteric osteotomy is an effective technique for treatment of Crowe type III-IV congenital hipdislocation with high rate of successful fixation on the typical femoral stem, healing of osteotomy site and satisfactory shortand medium-term clinical outcomes. The non-modular tapered stem provides sufficient stability in distal and proximal parts of the femur. The use of standard tapered stem allows to achieve good healing rates of the osteotomy.

The paper deals with the representation of the German space in “Travel letters from England, Germany and France” by N. I. Gretsch. This text is compared as with author’s other travelogues dedicated to traveling through German lands as well as with the tradition of describing Germany in Russian literature in the end of the 18th – the first half of the 19th centuries. The article reveals the close connection of the spatial imagery in the Gretsch’s work with the sentimentalism world-image of Germany. In accordance with this world-image, German lands are marked mainly with idyllic features. Idyllic loci in the Gretsch’s travelogue are connected with a number of motifs, such as motifs of orderliness, coziness, visual attractiveness, abundance, vitality, purity, peacefulness, silence, justice, contentment, brightness, closeness, patriarchality, achrony, miniaturization. The motif of sacredness of German space is of particular importance for representing the “blessed Germany” in the text. This allows to set the opposition “sacred, law-abiding, peaceful Germany — desecrated, lawless, violent France.”

The article explores the images of the German cities, Lubeck and Hamburg, presented in Nikolay Gretsch’s travelogue “The real trip to Germany in 1835”. The author determines the link between the images of the two cities and the tradition of describing Germany as an idyllic place. This tradition was widespread in Russian literature at the end of the 18th century — first half of the 19th century. In Gretsch’s text, Lubeck and Hamburg are depicted as idyllic but to different degrees. The locus of Lubeck is a homogeneous, patriarchal and achronous idyll, a static space that seems to have frozen in the Middle Ages. In contrast to Lübeck, the city of Hamburg is depicted as a large, contemporary, and dynamic city — in other words, as a modern type of idyll. Moreover, its orderliness goes beyond the idyll and is defined by the rational organisation of space, which is characterised by heterogeneity. Firstly, the idyllic subloci are distinguished, where the key role belongs to the demi-natural images of the garden, the park and the promenade. Secondly, the utilitarian-rational subloci of the stock exchange, quay, and canals are described. Subloci, which are marked by both idyll and rationality, have been identified (e. g. an orphanage, an almshouse). Finally, the third spatial type identified marginal sublocations of seafarers’ establishments associated with the motives of disorderli­ness — drunkenness, debauchery, etc.

The paper deals with German spatial images represented in the travelogue “Parisian Letters with Notes about Denmark, Germany, Holland and Belgium” by N. I. Gretsch in connection with the tradition of describing Germany in Russian literature of the 19th century. Several types of spaces are determined in the text by Gretsch. One of them is formed by deminatural and home idyllic loci for which the motives of orderliness, coziness, cleanness, lightness, domesticity, plentifulness, visual appeal are typical. There is a connection of this spatial kind with the sentimental world-image of Germany in Russian literature represented in its ‘wasted’ variant having no expression. Urban German loci are also marked with the motif of orderliness connected with the space not of the idyll but of the modern rational civilization. Prussia is determined as the main center of ordering the German space and contrasted with several conflicted liminal places bordering France and Denmark. Describing regulated non-idyllic, liminal as well as historical loci of Germany tends to the neutral factual world-image. Finally, there are some elements of the travestycomical German narrative mode in the text by Gretsch, they basically deal with representing the German philistine space.

We consider a probabilistic approach to the joint inversion of multiphysics data based on Gramian constraints. The multiphysics geophysical survey represents the most effective technique for geophysical exploration because different physical data reflect distinct physical properties of the various components of the geological system. By joint inversion of the multiphysics data, one can produce enhanced subsurface images of the physical properties distribution, which improves our ability to explore natural resources. One powerful method of joint inversion is based on Gramian constraints. This technique enforces the relationships between different model parameters during the inversion process. We demonstrate that the Gramian can be interpreted as a determinant of the covariance matrix between different physical models representing the subsurface geology in the framework of the probabilistic approach to inversion theory. This interpretation opens the way to use all the power of the modern probability theory and statistics in developing novel methods for joint inversion of the multiphysics data. We apply the developed joint inversion methodology to inversion of gravity gradiometry and magnetic data in the Nordkapp Basin, Barents Sea to image salt diapirs.

The paper deals with the spatial images of Germany represented in Russian travelogues of the late 18th – first half of the 19th centuries. The text corpus studied from a semiotic perspective consists of works by A. T. Bolotov, D. P. Gorikhvostov, D. I. Fonvizin, N. M. Karamzin, S. A. Korsakov, W. K. Küchelbecker, F. P. Lubyanovsky, I. P. Myatlev, M. P. Pogodin, A. Ya. Klimov, V. N. Zinovyev. A set of principal features representing the imaginal-geographic Germany is determined. The center of this set is the motif of orderliness actualizing in two images — a rationally organized space in the spirit of the Enlightenment and an idyll based on the Arcadian myth. The other spatial characteristics of the patched-up Germany are cleanness, accuracy, closeness, narrowness, miniatureness connected with the concept of order. The ambivalence of Russian travelers’ perceiving the German loci is emphasized. The idyllic Germany is not only admired but also ironically travestied in Russian literature. The rationally organized, civilized German landscape is both praised for its comfortableness and criticized in the frames of its extreme forms for dehumanization.

This paper describes the virtual laboratory environment developed by the authors for training penetration-testing skills with justification of the design decisions, as well as the results of the study of the applicability of the developed virtual laboratory environment for teaching penetration-testing skills in the educational process of bachelor's degree in information security program. It has been shown that a virtual lab environment for training penetration-testing skills can be implemented using open source software. The implemented software environment makes rather moderate requirements to the hardware platform (specified in the paper) on which it should be executed. The study of applicability has shown that the developed virtual laboratory environment can be used in the educational process of bachelor's degree in information security program with the use of distance learning technologies and allows students to develop practical skills in using penetration testing methods on examples of objects of various levels of complexity.

The paper deals with the image ofGermanyin I. P. Miatlev’s poem "Sensacii i zamechaniya gospozhi Kurdyukovoy za graniceyu, dans l’etranger" ("Madam Kurdukova’s Sensations and Remarks Abroad, dans l’etranger") that is an example of macaronic poetry. The poem marks an important milestone in the transformation of the image ofGermanyin the Russian literature of the 1840s; however, it has not received proper scientific attention. The current research examines the historic and the mundane aspects of the image in question. The historic aspect combines different loci connected with the German history of the Middle Ages and the Modern Times: urban images and urban unions, like theHanseatic League, or certain urban spaces, e. g. churches, etc. Such loci are often connected with historical characters like Charlemagne or Napoleon. The mundane aspect is represented with things, money and goods as a typical attribute of the German (Western) civilization, which leads to the metonymic unity of cities and goods produces there, the way it happens toHamburg. Besides, the mundane element is actualized via the philistine personages, which make the core of German characters in the poem.

The paper deals with specific features of representing German cities and towns in Russian travelogues at the turn of the XIX century written by V. N. Zinov'ev, D. I. Fonvizin, N. M. Karamzin and F. P. Lubyanovskiy. These texts reflect pursuance of Russian self-identity on the basis of comparison with Western Europe, in particular, with Germany. The Russian authors focus on culturespecific elements of the represented locuses. Cleanness, comfort, space limitation and closeness should also be mentioned as characteristics of the German urban chronotopos. The urban locus is represented from two points of view: as a space of cultural artifacts and as an anthropic space of citizens. The second aspect is important for N. M. Karamzin and F. P. Lubyanovskiy’s sentimentalistic texts but can hardly be found in works by V. N. Zinov'ev and D. I. Fonvizin. The urban descriptions in sentimentalists’ travelogues are more voluminous, filled with figures of speech, different historic and contemporaneous realia.

The paper deals with a German-marked mountain text in Sasha Chorny’s poetry. The confines of this chronotope are marked with a Philistine “dale” (spatial bottom) and a mountain “peak” passing into the sky (spatial top). Mountains are here a mediative locus with characteristics of idyll or pseudo-idyll. Besides, the paper demonstrates a connection between S. Chorny’s mountain text and the tradition of orography in Russian literature.
