Hip fractures (HF) are among the most common fractures present in the emergency department and are very painful. Pericapsular nerve group block (PENG) is a new regional anesthesia technique developed for analgesia in total hip arthroplasties. We aimed to determine the effectiveness of PENG block used to reduce pain in patients with HF in the emergency department. METHODS: This single-center, randomized, and prospective study was carried out in the emergency department. The patients included in the study were selected according to the suitability of the personnel who will perform the procedure. The sealed envelope system was used for randomization. RESULTS: Statistical analysis was performed with 39 patients (18 patients in the PENG group, 21 patients in the control group). Thirteen (33.3%) of the patients were female and 26 (66.7%) were male. The mean age was 75.3. At rest post-procedure, the mean Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) scores of the patients at the 30th min, 2nd, 6th, and 24th h were 1.78??1.83, 0.00??0.00, 0.00??0.00, and 1.28??1.41 in the PENG group. On the other hand, it was 3.38??1.86, 0.05??0.22, 2.86??2.37, and 4.95??1.47 in the control group, respectively. The mean NRS scores of the patients at 15?? elevation of the leg at the 30th min, 2nd, 6th, and 24th h were 3.06??1.80, 0.06??0.24, 0.22??0.43, and 2.44??1.50 in the PENG group and it was 5.24??1.81, 1.05??0.92, 4.29??2.35, and 7.14??1.24 in the control group, respectively. CONCLUSION: PENG block can reduce pain and the need for systemic analgesics as a practical option in patients with HF.

Verrucous carcinoma (VC) of the bladder is a malignant neoplasm associated with schistosomal infection. Non-schistosomal VC of the bladder is highly unusual; to the best of our knowledge, only 16 such cases have been reported to date. We report a case of non-schistosomal VC of the bladder, also review the literature and discuss the possible causes, management, and treatment of this unusual and malignant neoplasm.

Hayvan ısırma veya sokma vakaları acil servislerde sıkçakarşılaştığımız, çoğu zaman basit tedavilerle ya da tedavisizüstesinden gelebildiğimiz ancak bazı durumlarda ciddiyaralanma, enfeksiyon veya zehirlenme ile karşı karşıyakalabildiğimiz durumlardır. Böyle bir durumlakarşılaştığımızda ne yapacağımızı bilmemiz hastayı ölümcülolabilecek sorunlara karşı koruyacaktır.Bu yazımızda memeli hayvan ısırıkları, arı sokmaları, yılanısırıkları ve zehirli böcek sokmalarını bu bakış açısı iledeğerlendirmeye çalışacağız.Memeli ısırıkları vücutta delinme, yırtılma, ezilme şeklindedoku hasarı hatta kemik kırıkları, uzuv kopmaları gibi büyüktravmatik yaralanmalar şeklinde karşımıza çıkabilmektedir.Bu yaralanmalar iş gücü kaybı, estetik bozukluklar ve en kötüşartlarda kalıcı fonksiyon kaybı veya ölümlüsonuçlanmaktadır. Memeli ısırıklarındaki bir diğer önemliproblem ise %15 seviyelerine ulaşan enfeksiyon riskidir.

Amaç: Pnömotoraks pariyetal ve visseral plevra arasındaki boşlukta hava bulunması ve buna sekonder akciğer kollapsı olarak tanımlanır. Bu çalışmada Erciyes Üniversitesi Acil Serviste primer spontan pnömotoraks tanısı konmuş hastaların analizini yapıp vitamin D ile ilişkisinin varlığını araştırmayı amaçladık.Hastalar ve Yöntem: Bu çalışmada ocak 2013 ile aralık 2016 arasında Erciyes Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Acil Servisine primer spontan pnömotoraks ile başvuran hastaların D vitamini düzeyleri retrospektif olarak ölçülmüş ve sağlıklı bireylerle karşılaştırılmıştır.Bulgular: Çalışmamızda primer spontan pnömotoraks atağı erkek hastalarda 9:1 oranında fazla bulunmuştur. Sigara içme oranı %56.7 olarak tespit edilmiştir. Hasta grubunda vitamin D düzeyi 23,9+-7,1 olarak bulunmuşken kontrol grubunda 19,6+-5,3 olarak bulunmuştur. (p

Durch den Einsatz drehelastischer Kupplungen kann das Schwingungsverhalten von Antriebssträngen in erheblichem Umfang beeinflusst werden. Zur Vorhersage dieses Drehschwingungsverhaltens mit Simulationsprogrammen werden ausreichend genaue Kupplungswirkmodelle benötigt, die sowohl das Steifigkeits- und Dämpfungsverhalten als auch das Temperaturverhalten der Kupplungen für alle relevanten Betriebszustände beschreiben können. Ein wichtiger Schritt zur Kennzeichnung des Kupplungsverhaltens für stationären und instationären Betrieb gelang in vorlaufenden Forschungsvorhaben mit sog. Kupplungswirkmodellen, die durch Zusammenschalten verschiedener rheologischer Elemente für Federn und Dämpfer, ergänzt um Kontakt- und Spielelemente, aufgebaut werden können. Der Einsatz solcher Kupplungswirkmodelle wurde in der Industrie vielfach erfolgreich erprobt. Ein Nachteil dieser Kupplungswirkmodelle ist allerdings, dass die kennzeichnenden Modellparameter für jede Kupplung vorab mittels harmonischer Torsionsversuche bei unterschiedlichen Frequenzen und Amplituden bestimmt werden müssen und selbst für ähnliche Kupplungen kein ausreichend genaues Verfahren zur Umrechnung der Kupplungs-Modellparameter auf andere Kupplungsgrößen existiert. Eine Einschränkung der Anwendbarkeit bisheriger Kupplungswirkmodelle ergibt sich weiter aus der Tatsache, dass die Kupplungsparameter auch vom aktuellen Betriebszustand, speziell der zeitlich veränderlichen Temperaturverteilung und der Alterung, abhängen. Mit den Kupplungswirkmodellen können jedoch keine mehrachsigen Beanspruchungszustände aus komplexen Belastungen, die zur Lebensdauervorhersage benötigtnötigt werden, bestimmt werden, sofern sich keine geschlossenen Hystereseschleifen einstellen. Zur Bestimmung solcher Beanspruchungszustände sind höherwertige Simulationsberechnungen erforderlich, die auf einer genaueren Beschreibung des Materialverhaltens gefüllter Elastomere aufsetzen. In der vorliegenden Arbeit wurde angestrebt, eine solche höherwertige Berechnungsmethode zu entwickeln und zu erproben. Hierzu wurden verschiedene Materialmodelle mit temperaturabhängigen Materialparametern, u. a. das Kilian- und das Ogden-Modell für das Elastomerverhalten und das Pirscher-Modell für gefüllte Elastomere analysiert. Zur Simulation des Steifigkeits- und Dämpfungsverhaltens und der Wärmeentwicklung in einer Standard-Prüfkupplung wurde ein FEM/FVM-Programmsystem entwickelt und getestet. Weiter wurden zur Bestimmung der Modellparameter Torsionsschwingungsversuche durchgeführt. Bei der Bestimmung der Materialparameter ergaben sich infolge der langsamen Drift der Steifigkeits- und Dämpfungskennwerte wegen der beim Prüfbetrieb auftretenden inhomogenen Wärmeentwicklung in der Prüfkupplung erhebliche Ungenauigkeiten. Es zeigte sich, dass auf ergänzende Schwingversuche mit dominanten Normalspannungsanteilen nicht verzichtet werden kann. Zusätzlich ergab sich, dass bei ungünstig gewählten Modellparametern das Kilian-Modell zu numerischen Problemen neigt, was die Parameteroptimierung zusätzlich erschwerte. Vom Ogden-Modell werden günstigere numerische Eigenschaften erwartet. Vor dem Einbau der Materialgesetze in ein kommerzielles FEM-Programmsystem sind ergänzende Untersuchungen, die in der Arbeit angeregt werden, durchzuführen. The application of torsionally flexible Couplings can influence the vibration behaviour of power trains in a strong manner. It is necessary to have exact models for the Forecasting of this vibration behaviour through Simulations. These models should be able to describe the stiffness, damping and temperature characteristics of the coupling. An important step to characterize the behaviour of the coupling for stationary and in-stationary running has been investigated in previous research projects. Rheological models consisting of spring and damper have been used an these models were validated in many industrial applications. Nevertheless rhelogical models have the great handicap´, that many measurements are necessary for the system identifica-tion. It is also not possible to calculate the parameters for different coupling sizes. Another constriction for the use of these parameters is their dependence on the temperature state of the coupling. With an rheological substitute model for the coupling It is not possible to analyse the multiaxial stress state resulting from am complex loading. It is necessary to describe the behaviour of the filled elastomere with the help of constitutive models. It was the aim of this work to develope und test such a constitutive model for the vi-brational behaviour of the coupling.

Bu çalışmada, gadolinyum (Gd) ve iterbiyum'un (Yb) termal yolla polikristal yapılıYBa2Cu3O7-x (Y123) süperiletkenine difüzyonunun, süperiletkenin fiziksel ve yapısalözelliklerini hangi oranda değiştirdiği araştırıldı. Böylece, katkı difüzyon yöntemiyle Y123örneğinin süperiletkenlik mekanizmasını anlamaya ve süperiletkenlik özelliklerinigeliştirmeye çalışıldı.Araştırmada, Y123 külçe örneği üzerine Gd ve Yb difüzyonu uygulandıktan sonradifüzyon edilmiş örneklerin yapısal özellikleri X-ışını kırınım analizi, taramalı elektronmikroskobu ve optik mikroskop ölçümleriyle; elektriksel ve manyetik özellikleri de PPMSsistemi kullanılarak R-T ve M-H ölçümleri ile incelendi. Farklı sıcaklıklarda termal difüzyonyapılan Y123 örneklerinin direnç ölçümlerinden yararlanarak değişik manyetik alanlardakiaktivasyon enerjisi (U) ve üst kritik manyetik alan (Hc2) değerleri; manyetizasyonölçümlerinden ise kritik akım yoğunluğu (Jc) değerleri hesaplandı.Gadolinyum ve iterbiyum'un Y123 örneğine farklı sıcaklıklarda (800-900 ºC) yapılandifüzyonu neticesinde elde edilen konsantrasyon dağılımı eğrilerinden, Gd ve Yb'un taneiçine yavaş difüzyon katsayısı D1 ve taneler arası yüzeylere hızlı difüzyon katsayısı D2 gibi,iki farklı difüzyon katsayısıyla ifade edilebileceği bulundu. Yapısal özelliklerin incelenmesisonucunda 900 ºC'de Gd difüzyonu yapılmış Y123 örneğinin c örgü sabitinin, difüzyonyapılmamış örneğe göre % 0,23 oranında arttığı ve difüzyon yapılmış yüzeyden derinlereinildikçe c örgü sabitinin azaldığı saptandı. Ayrıca 900 ºC'de Gd ve Yb difüzyonu yapılmıştüm örneklerin SEM fotoğraflarının incelenmesinde, taneler arası boşluk oranının azaldığı vekristal yöneliminin arttığı görüldü. Fiziksel ölçümler neticesinde Gd ve Yb'un difüzyontavlama sıcaklığı arttıkça, difüzyon yapılmış örneklerin U, Hc2 ve Jc değerlerinde de artışlarbelirlendi.Anahtar Kelimeler: YBa2Cu3O7-x, Gd ve Yb difüzyonu, Aktivasyon enerjisi, Üst kritikmanyetik alan, M-H eğrileri, Kritik akım yoğunluğu This study deals with the thermal diffusion of gadolinium (Gd) and ytterbium (Yb)into the polycrystalline Y123 superconductor to understand the diffusion-induced variation ofphysical and structural properties. Ultimately, attempts are made to comprehend themechanism of superconductivity and improve the properties of the superconductivity.The Y123 samples which were diffusion-doped at various temperatures were preparedby solid-state reaction method. Values of diffusion coefficient (D) and activation energy (Ea)for Gd and Yb diffusion were determined by EDXRF method. Structural properties of thesamples subjected to Gd and Yb diffusion were determined by X-ray diffraction analysis,scanning electron microscopy and optical light microscopy while electrical and magneticproperties by the R-T and M-H measurements by means of vibration sample magnetometer.Values of activation energy (U) and upper critical magnetic field (Hc2) were computed by useof the resistance measurements, whereas critical current density (Jc) from the magnetizationmeasurements.Two distinct diffusion coefficients (D1 and D2) are defined for the Gd and Ybdiffusion into the Y123 at the different temperatures (800-900 ºC) whereby D1 and D2represent slow intragrain and intergrain fast diffusion coefficients, respectively. The c-latticeparameter of Y123 which is subjected to Gd diffusion at 900 ºC increases 0.23 % relative topure Y123. In addition, c-lattice parameter systematically decreases from the diffusion-treatedsurfaces into interior of the sample. SEM imaging of all the Gd and Yb diffused samples (900ºC) revealed that the amount of the intergranular spaces decreases and crystal-orientationincreases. The physical measurements clearly display that Hc2 and Jc values increases with theincreasing diffusion annealing temperatures. 140

ÖZET Smyrna Kent Suru Önü Nekropolü'nde ele geçen amphora ve pithoslar tezin içeriğini oluşturur. Mezar olarak kullanılan 15 adet amphora ve 31 adet pithos, bulunduğu tabakaya, ölü hediyesine yada çeşitli merkezlerden ele geçen benzer örneklere göre tarihlendirildi. Amphora ve pithos mezarların in-situ du rumlarına göre Smyrna Ölü Gömme Adetleri hakkında açıklamalar ve yorum lar yapıldı. Çıkan sonuçlar aynı dönem, benzer özeliklere sahip nekropoller ile karşılaştırıldı. Amphoralar 5 başlık altında incelenmiş ve tüm amphoraların M.Ö. 7. yüzyılın sonu-M.Ö. 6. yüzyılın başı- ile M.Ö 6. yüzyılın ortası içerisinde tarihlendiği görülmüştür. Klazomenai Amphora örnekleri M.Ö. 6. yüzyılın ilk yarısı na aittir. M.Ö. 6. yüzyıl basma ve ortalarına ait birer adet Khios Amphorası ele geçmiştir. Miletos Üretimi Amphoralar M.Ö 7. yüzyılın sonu ile M.Ö. 6. yüzyılın başına tarihlenirler. Mezar olarak kullanılmış sadece bir adet Lesbos Amphora sı Sur Önü Nekropolü'nden ele geçmiş ve Miletos Amphoraları ile aynı döneme tarihlendirilmiştir. Son olarak Üretim Merkezi Belli Olmayan Amphoralar M.Ö. 7. yüzyılın sonu ile M.Ö. 6. yüzyılın ilk yarısı içerisine tarihlendirilirler. Pithoslar 8 başlık altında toplanmışlardır. Bunlar Buluntu Alanı I, Bu luntu Alanı II, Tek Parça Pithoslar, Ağız Kenarı Yay Şeklinde Olan Pithoslar, Uzun Boyunlu Pithoslar, Yüksek Gövdeli Pithoslar, Ağız Kenarı Kademelendi- rilmiş Olan Pithoslar ve Boyunlu Pithoslar' dır. Pithos mezarlarında amphora mezarlar gibi M.Ö. 7. yüzyılın sonu-M.Ö. 6. yüzyılın başı- ile M.Ö. 6. yüzyılın ortasına tarihlendikleri görülmüştür. VI ABSTRACT The amphoras and the pithoi that were found in Front of the Smyrna City Wall, constitute the content of the thesis. 15 Amphora and 31 pithos graves were dated by the dead gift, layer or the similar foundling of various centers. According to in-situ of the amphoras and the pithoi, the explanations and in terpretations that about the Smyrna Burial Customs were done. The results were compared with the same period, resembling necropolis. The amphoras were investigated to five groups, and understood that all amphoras date among the end of the 7th Century B.C., the beginning of the 6th Century B.C, and in the middle of the 6th Century B.C. The Klazomenai Am phoras are belong to the first half of the 6th century B.C. There are Khios Am phoras belonging to the beginning and the middle of the 6th Century B.C. The Miletos Amphoras were dated to the end of the 7th Century B.C., and the begin ning of the 6th Century B.C. The Lesbos Amphora was found just one specimen in Front of the Smyrna City Wall, and dated to the same period with the Mile tos Amphoras together. As a last, The Unknown Amphoras were dated among the end of the 7th cenury B.C., and the middle of the 6th century B.C. The pithoi were classified under 8 titles; these are Foundling Area I, Fo undling Area II, One Piece Pithos, Arc Frame Pithos, Long Necked Pithos, High Body Pithos, Step Frame Pithos, and Necked Pithos. The Pithos graves are dated among the end of the 7th Century B.C, the beginning of the 6th Century B.C, and in the middle of the 6th Century B.C. like the amphora graves. Vll 70

Başlıca a-faz (hekzagonal) ve 0-faz (Kübik)' dan oluşan ZnS ince filmi çeşitli elektronik aletlerin tasarımında umut verici bir malzemedir. II-VI grubu bileşiklerinden olan ZnS malzemesi opto elektronikte, oda sıcaklığında 3,5-3,7 eV gibi geniş band aralığına sahip olduğu için görünür bölgede ışık yayan diyot olarak kullanılmaktadır. Ayrıca, bu malzemenin optik geçirgenliğinin (%75) ve kırılma indisinin (2,35) büyük olması dielektrik filtre ve reflaktör olarak kullanılmasına imkan verir. Bu çalışmada ZnS ince filmler değişik S:Zn molar oranlarında kimyasal püskürtme yöntemi kullanılarak üretildi. Bu filmlerin yapı yüzey morfolojisi, elektrik ve optik özelikleri değişik altlık sıcaklığı, tavlama sıcaklığı, püskürtme zamanı ve bileşen oranlarına bağlı olarak incelendi. Altlık sıcaklığı 500°C, püskürtme süresi 30 dak., püskürtme hızı 5 ml/dak. ve S:Zn molar oram 0,9 olduğunda altlıkla iyi adhezyon sergileyen hekzagonal ve kübik faz karışımına sahip, tercihli yönlenmesi (lll)p yönünde olan filmler elde edildi. Filmlerin dört nokta yöntemiyle aydınlıkta ölçülen özdirençlerinin artan altlık sıcaklığı ile yükseldiği görüldü. Bu, film kalınlığındaki azalma ve stikoyometredeki gelişme veya elektron yoğunluğu ve mobilitedeki azalma nedeniyle olabilir. Hedef numunenin (S:Zn=0,9), enerji band aralığım bulmak için, absorpsiyon katsayısı ölçülerek foton enerjisiyle değişimi incelendiğinde, doğrudan band geçişli kübik faz yapısındaki değerle uyum içinde olduğu görüldü. Ayrıca artan tavlama sıcaklıklanyla hedef numunenin özdirencinde düşüşler gözlendi. Anahtar Kelimeler: ZnS, İnce film, Optik, Elektrik, Yapı, Bileşim VI The Production of ZnS Thin Films Prepared by Spray Pyrolysis and The Studied of Characteristic Properties Zinc Sulfide ( ZnS ) thin film is a promising material for its use in various electronical devices design which mainly exist in an ct-phase ( hexagonal ) and a P-phase ( cubic ). In opto-electronics, ZnS materials ( II- VI groub compound ) can be used as light emitting diode in the blue to ultraviolet spectral region due to its wide band gap of 3.5 -3.7 eV at room temperature. In addition, in the area optics, ZnS can be used as a reflactor and dielectric filter because of its high refractive index ( 2.35 ) and its high transmittance (75% ) in the visible range, respectively. In this study, ZnS thin films were produced by spray pyrolysis as a function of different S : Zn molar ratio. The structure, surface morphology, electrical and optical properties of these films are investigated as a function of substrate temperatures, deposition time, solition spray rate, and compound ratio. İnceleme alanı olan Çubuk ilçesi, İç Anadolu Bölgesi'nin kuzeyinde ve Yukarı Sakarya bölümü içerisinde yer almaktadır. Ankara şehrine 40 km uzaklıkta bulunan Çubuk ilçe merkezinin denizden yüksekliği ortalama 1000 m civarındadır. İlçenin kuzey ve kuzeydoğusunda Şabanözü, doğu ve güneydoğusunda Kalecik ve Akyurt, güneyinde Keçiören, batı ve kuzeybatısında ise Kazan ve Kızılcahamam ilçeleri yer yer almaktadır. Çalışma alanı içerisinde bulunan dağlık saha yörenin kuzeyinde en yüksek değerine erişir. Bu dağlar Köroğlu Dağlarının bir devamı durumundadır. Plato sahası ise Çubuk Ovası ile dağlık alan arasında bulunur. Yörenin en önemli sulu tarım alanının Çubuk ovası ve vadi tabanları oluşturmaktadır. Çubuk çayı ve kolları yanında, yeraltı suyundan da yararlanılır. Bu kesimler genelde sebze ve şeker pan carı tarımına ayrılmıştır. Plato sahası ise genelde kuru tarım alanıdır. Özellikle buğday, arpa ve fiğ yetiştirilmektedir. Çubuk ilçesinde, kullanılan toplam arazi 123 178 hektardır. Bu arazinin 37 123 hektarını kuru tarım alanları oluşturmaktadır. 34 544 hektar arazi ile çayır-mera alanları ikinci sırada yer alır. En az arazi ise 1878 hektar ile bağ-bahçe alanlarına ayrılmıştır. Yörede eğimin ve orman tahribatının fazla olması nedeniyle, erozyon oldukça ileri boyutlardadır. Tahribattan arta kalan bozulmuş orman örtüsü, genel olarak inceleme alanının kuzey kesiminde bulunur. Orman alanları ile fundalık alanlar, bir çok yerde de fundalıklarla mera alanları iç içe geçmiş durumdadır. The area that is examined is Çubuk town which is situated in upper Sakarya area, in middle Anatolia the Centroom of Çubuk, which is 40 km away from Anka ra, has an altitude of 1000m. There is Şabanözü in north and northeast, Kalecik and Akyurt in east and Southeast, Keçiören in south, Kazan and Kızılcahamam in west and northwest of Çubuk. The mountanous area which is included in this study, reaches its highest level at the noth port of the town. These mountains are the continuation of Köroğlu mo untains the plateau area is located between the mountanous area and the Çubuk fo rest. Çubuk plain and the valley bases constitude the most important watery agricul ture areas. To irrigate Çubuk plain, Çubuk brook and its branches are used as well as, the underground water. These parts are usually seperated to grow vegetable and sugar beet, whereas the pleteau part is the area of dry agriculture. Especially, weat, barley, and fodder is grown. Total land used in Çubuk town is 123 178 hectometers. 37 123 hectometers of this land is constituted by dry agriculture areas. Then, pastu res and meadows make 34 544 hectometers. The samllest area which is 1873 hecto meters, is seperated for vineyards and gardens. Erosion is at great amount because of the slope of the town and the destruction of forest. The remaining part of the forest is located in the north part of the area examined. In some parts forest and shumbberyes are together. 165
