252. The $\eta(2225)$ observed by the BES Collaboration

In the framework of the $^3P_0$ meson decay model, the strong decays of the $3 ^1S_0$ and $4 ^1S_0$ $s\bar{s}$ states are investigated. It is found that in the presence of the initial state mass being 2.24 GeV, the total widths of the $3 ^1S_0$ and $4 ^1S_0$ $s\bar{s}$ states are about 438 MeV and 125 MeV, respectively. Also, when the initial state mass varies from 2220 to 2400 MeV, the total width of the $4 ^1S_0$ $s\bar{s}$ state varies from about 100 to 132 MeV, while the total width of the $3 ^1S_0$ $s\bar{s}$ state varies from about 400 to 594 MeV. A comparison of the predicted widths and the experimental result of $(0.19\pm 0.03^{+0.04}_{-0.06})$ GeV, the width of the $\eta(2225)$ with a mass of $(2.24^{+0.03+0.03}_{-0.02-0.02})$ GeV recently observed by the BES Collaboration in the radiative decay $J/\psi\to\gamma\phi\phi\to\gamma K^+K^-K^0_SK^0_L$, suggests that it would be very difficult to identify the $\eta(2225)$ as the $3 ^1S_0$ $s\bar{s}$ state, and the $\eta(2225)$ seams a good candidate for the $4 ^1S_0$ $s\bar{s}$ state., Comment: 14 pages, 3 figures, typos corrected, Accepted by Physical Review D

253. $X(1835)$ and $\eta(1760)$ observed by the BES Collaboration

With the assumption that the $X(1835)$ and $\eta(1760)$ recently observed by the BES Collaboration are the $3\,^1S_0$ meson states, the strong decays of these two states are investigated in the $^3P_0$ decay model. We find that the predicted total widths of the $X(1835)$ and $\eta(1760)$ can be reasonably reproduced with the $X(18350)-\eta(1760)$ mixing angle lying on the range from $-0.26$ to $+0.55$ radians. Further, the mixing angle of the $X(1835)$ and $\eta(1760)$ is phenomenologically determined to be about $-0.24$ radians in the presence of the $\pi(1800)$, $K(1830)$, $\eta(1760)$ and $X(1835)$ belonging to the $3\,^1S_0$ meson nonet. Our estimated mixing angle can naturally account for the widths of the $X(1835)$ and $\eta(1760)$, which shows that the assignment of the $X(1835)$ and $\eta(1760)$, together the $\pi(1800)$ and $K(1830)$ as the $3\,^1S_0$ $q\bar{q}$ members seems reasonable., Comment: 14 pages, 2 figures, version to appear in Physical Review D

255. Understanding masses of $c\bar{s}$ states in Regge phenomenology

In the framework of Regge phenomenology, masses of the charmed states $c\bar{q} (q=u,d,s)$ lying on the $1^3S_1$-like trajectories are estimated. The overall agreement between our estimated masses and the recent predictions given by modified quark models[hep-ph/0605019, hep-ph/0608011, hep-ph/0608139] is good. Masses of the observed charmed states $D_{s0}(2317)$, $D_{sJ}(2860)$ and $D_{sJ}(2690)$/$D_{sJ}(2700)$ can be reasonably reproduced in the picture of these charmed states as simple quark-antiquark configurations. We therefore suggest the $D_{s0}(2317)$ can be identified as the $c\bar{s}(1^3P_0)$ states. The possible assignments of the $D_{sJ}(2860)$ and $D_{sJ}(2690)$/ $D_{sJ}(2700)$ are discussed., Comment: 15 pages, 3 figures, to appear in Eur. Phys. J. C

The implications of the $f_1(1285)-f_1(1420)$ mixing for the $K_1(^3P_1)-K_1(^1P_1)$ mixing angle is investigated. Based on the $f_1(1285)-f_1(1420)$ mixing angle $\sim 50^\circ$ suggested from the analysis for a substantial body of data concerning the $f_1(1420)$ and $f_1(1285)$, the masses of the $K_1(^3P_1)$ and $K_1(^1P_1)$ are determined to be $\sim 1307.35\pm 0.63$ MeV and $1370.03\pm 9.69$ MeV, respectively, which therefore suggests that the $K_1(^3P_1)-K_1(^1P_1)$ mixing angle is about $\pm (59.55\pm 2.81)^\circ$. Also, it is found that the mass of the $h^\prime_1(^1P_1)$ (mostly of $s\bar{s}$) state is about $1495.18\pm 8.82$ MeV. Comparison of the predicted results and the available experimental information of the $h_1(1380)$ shows that without further confirmation on the $h_1(1380)$, the assignment of the $h_1(1380)$ as the $s\bar{s}$ member of the $^1P_1$ meson nonet may be premature., Comment: 11 pages, some typos corrected, accepted for publication in Eur. Evasion of the immune response is a hallmark of cancer, and programmed cell death 1 (PD-1) and PD-1 ligand 1 (PD-L1) are major mediators of this immunosuppression. Chitinase 3-like 1 (CHI3L1) is induced in many cancers, where it portends a poor prognosis and contributes to tumor metastasis and spread. However, the mechanism(s) that CHI3L1 uses in metastasis have not been defined. Here we demonstrate that CHI3L1 regulates the expression of PD-L1, PD-L2, PD-1, LAG3, and TIM3 and plays a critical role in melanoma progression and lymphatic spread. CHI3L1 also contributed to IFN-[gamma]-stimulated macrophage PD-L1 expression, and RIG-like helicase innate immunity suppressed CHI3L1, PD-L1, and melanoma progression. Individual antibodies against CHI3L1 or PD-1 had discrete antitumor effects and additive antitumor responses in metastasis models and T cell-tumor cell cocultures when administered simultaneously. Synergistic cytotoxic tumor cell death was seen in T cell-tumor cell cocultures, and significantly enhanced antitumor responses were seen in in vivo tumor models treated with bispecific antibodies that simultaneously target CHI3L1 and PD-1. CHI3L1 contributes to tumor progression by stimulating the PD-1/PD-L1 axis and other checkpoint molecules. 420/WC-17Co coating was deposited on AZ80 magnesium alloy substrate by cold spraying technology. SEM was used to characterize the original powder morphology and coating microstructure. The microhardness and bonding strength of as-sprayed coating were tested by microhardness tester and universal material testing machine. Moreover, friction and wear property of the coating was also investigated by a ball-on-disk tribometer. Corrosion behaviours of coatings and magnesium alloy were characterized by electrochemical measurements. The results show that high quality 420/WC-17Co coating can be deposited on AZ80 magnesium alloy by cold spraying technology. The microhardness of cold sprayed 420/WC-17Co coating is (615 ± 62) HV, bonding strength is (57 ± 11) MPa and wear rate is only 3.3 × 10–6 mm3·N·m. The wear resistance of cold sprayed 420/WC-17Co coating is improved by two orders of magnitude, and the corrosion current density is reduced by one order of magnitude than magnesium alloy substrate. In conclusion, the present research demonstrates that cold sprayed 420/WC-17Co coating can significantly improve the surface performance of magnesium alloy substrate without evident heating output.

- Abstract
The main task of the Top Tracker detector of the neutrino reactor experiment Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory (JUNO) is to reconstruct and extrapolate atmospheric muon tracks down to the central detector. This muon tracker will help to evaluate the contribution of the cosmogenic background to the signal. The Top Tracker is located above JUNO's water Cherenkov Detector and Central Detector, covering about 60% of the surface above them. The JUNO Top Tracker is constituted by the decommissioned OPERA experiment Target Tracker modules. The technology used consists in walls of two planes of plastic scintillator strips, one per transverse direction. Wavelength shifting fibres collect the light signal emitted by the scintillator strips and guide it to both ends where it is read by multianode photomultiplier tubes. Compared to the OPERA Target Tracker, the JUNO Top Tracker uses new electronics able to cope with the high rate produced by the high rock radioactivity compared to the one in Gran Sasso underground laboratory. This paper will present the new electronics and mechanical structure developed for the Top Tracker of JUNO along with its expected performance based on the current detector simulation.

296. Weak Solar Radio Bursts from the Solar Wind Acceleration Region Observed by Parker Solar Probe and Its Probable Emission Mechanism

- Abstract
The Parker Solar Probe (PSP) provides us the unprecedentedly close approach observation to the Sun, and hence the possibility of directly understanding the "elementary process" which occurs in the kinetic scale of particles collective interactioin in solar coronal plasmas. We reported a kind of weak solar radio bursts (SRBs), which are detected by PSP when it passed a low-density magnetic channel during its second encounter phase. These weak SRBs have low starting frequecny $\sim 20$ MHz and narrow frequency range from a few tens MHz to a few hundres kHz. Their dynamic spectra display a strongly evolving feature of the intermediate relative drift rate decreasing rapidly from above 0.01/s to below 0.01/s. Analyses based on common empirical models of solar coronal plasmas indicate that these weak SRBs originate from the heliocentric distance $\sim 1.1-6.1~R_S$ (the solar radius), a typical solar wind acceleration region with a low-$\beta$ plasma, and indicate that their soruces have a typic motion velociy $\sim v_A$ (Alfv\'en velocity) obviously lower than that of fast electrons required by effectively exciting SRBs. We propose that solitary kinetic Alfv\'en waves with kinetic scales can be responsible for the generation of these small-scalevweak SRBs, called solitary wave radiation (SWR).

Zeolite Socony Mobil-5 (ZSM-5) is a commonly spent catalyst in the petrochemical industry; and phosphogypsum (PG) is a kind of industrial waste produced in the process of phosphoric acid production. The environmental issues caused by these two solid wastes are urgent and thus sustainable methodologies are required to dispose of and reutilize them. In this research, the waste ZSM-5 and waste PG were used to prepare a novel autoclaved aerated concrete. The effects of the different contents of disused ZSM-5 on the microstructures and performance of the PG-based AAC were determined. The results showed that the compressive strength and bulk density of the DZ4 sample were 2.6 MPa and 520 kg/m
3 , respectively. This study provides a novel and green approach to the reutilization of both waste PG and spent ZSM-5. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]- Published
