Abstract: Using $(27.12\pm 0.14)\times10^{8}$ $\psi(3686)$ events collected with the BESIII detector, we present the first observation of the decays $\chi_{cJ}\to\Lambda\bar{\Lambda}\omega$, where $J=0, 1, 2$, with statistical significances of $11.7 \sigma, 11.2 \sigma$, and $11.8 \sigma$. The branching fractions of these decays are determined to be $\mathcal{B}(\chi_{c0}\to\Lambda\bar{\Lambda}\omega)=({2.37 \pm 0.22 \pm 0.23}) \times 10^{-4}$, $\mathcal{B}(\chi_{c1}\to\Lambda\bar{\Lambda}\omega)=({1.01 \pm 0.10 \pm 0.11}) \times 10^{-4}$, and $\mathcal{B}(\chi_{c2}\to\Lambda\bar{\Lambda}\omega)=({1.40 \pm 0.13 \pm 0.17}) \times 10^{-4}$, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second are systematic. Abstract: The processes $h_c\to\gamma P(P = \eta^\prime,~\eta,~\pi^0)$ are studied with a sample of $(27.12\pm0.14)\times10^{8}$ $\psi(3686)$ events collected by the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider. The decay $h_{c}\rightarrow\gamma\eta$ is observed for the first time with the significance of $9.0\,\sigma$, and the branching fraction is determined to be $(3.77\pm0.55\pm0.13\pm0.26)\times10^{-4}$, while $\mathscr{B}(h_{c}\rightarrow\gamma\eta^\prime)$ is measured to be $(1.40\pm0.11\pm0.04\pm0.10)\times10^{-3}$, where the first uncertainties are statistical, the second systematic, and the third from the branching fraction of $\psi(3686)\rightarrow\pi^{0}h_c$. The combination of these results allows for a precise determination of $R_{h_c}=\frac{\mathscr{B}(h_c\rightarrow\gamma\eta)}{\mathscr{B}(h_c\rightarrow\gamma\eta^\prime)}$, which is calculated to be $(27.0\pm4.4\pm1.0)\%$. The results are valuable for gaining a deeper understanding of $\eta-\eta^\prime$ mixing, and its manifestation within quantum chromodynamics. No significant signal is found for the decay $h_c\rightarrow\gamma\pi^{0}$, and an upper limit is placed on its branching fraction of $\mathscr{B}(h_c\rightarrow\gamma\pi^{0})<5.0\times10^{-5}$, at the 90$\%$ confidence level.

153. Simulating Petri nets with Boolean Matrix Logic Programming

Abstract: Recent attention to relational knowledge bases has sparked a demand for understanding how relations change between entities. Petri nets can represent knowledge structure and dynamically simulate interactions between entities, and thus they are well suited for achieving this goal. However, logic programs struggle to deal with extensive Petri nets due to the limitations of high-level symbol manipulations. To address this challenge, we introduce a novel approach called Boolean Matrix Logic Programming (BMLP), utilising boolean matrices as an alternative computation mechanism for Prolog to evaluate logic programs. Within this framework, we propose two novel BMLP algorithms for simulating a class of Petri nets known as elementary nets. This is done by transforming elementary nets into logically equivalent datalog programs. We demonstrate empirically that BMLP algorithms can evaluate these programs 40 times faster than tabled B-Prolog, SWI-Prolog, XSB-Prolog and Clingo. 154. VideoQA-SC: Adaptive Semantic Communication for Video Question Answering

Abstract: Although semantic communication (SC) has shown its potential in efficiently transmitting multi-modal data such as text, speeches and images, SC for videos has focused primarily on pixel-level reconstruction. However, these SC systems may be suboptimal for downstream intelligent tasks. Moreover, SC systems without pixel-level video reconstruction present advantages by achieving higher bandwidth efficiency and real-time performance of various intelligent tasks. The difficulty in such system design lies in the extraction of task-related compact semantic representations and their accurate delivery over noisy channels. In this paper, we propose an end-to-end SC system for video question answering (VideoQA) tasks called VideoQA-SC. Our goal is to accomplish VideoQA tasks directly based on video semantics over noisy or fading wireless channels, bypassing the need for video reconstruction at the receiver. To this end, we develop a spatiotemporal semantic encoder for effective video semantic extraction, and a learning-based bandwidth-adaptive deep joint source-channel coding (DJSCC) scheme for efficient and robust video semantic transmission. Experiments demonstrate that VideoQA-SC outperforms traditional and advanced DJSCC-based SC systems that rely on video reconstruction at the receiver under a wide range of channel conditions and bandwidth constraints. In particular, when the signal-to-noise ratio is low, VideoQA-SC can improve the answer accuracy by 5.17% while saving almost 99.5% of the bandwidth at the same time, compared with the advanced DJSCC-based SC system. Our results show the great potential of task-oriented SC system design for video applications.

Abstract: The systematic evaluation and understanding of computer vision models under varying conditions require large amounts of data with comprehensive and customized labels, which real-world vision datasets rarely satisfy. While current synthetic data generators offer a promising alternative, particularly for embodied AI tasks, they often fall short for computer vision tasks due to low asset and rendering quality, limited diversity, and unrealistic physical properties. We introduce the BEHAVIOR Vision Suite (BVS), a set of tools and assets to generate fully customized synthetic data for systematic evaluation of computer vision models, based on the newly developed embodied AI benchmark, BEHAVIOR-1K. BVS supports a large number of adjustable parameters at the scene level (e.g., lighting, object placement), the object level (e.g., joint configuration, attributes such as "filled" and "folded"), and the camera level (e.g., field of view, focal length). Researchers can arbitrarily vary these parameters during data generation to perform controlled experiments. We showcase three example application scenarios: systematically evaluating the robustness of models across different continuous axes of domain shift, evaluating scene understanding models on the same set of images, and training and evaluating simulation-to-real transfer for a novel vision task: unary and binary state prediction. 156. Performance Analysis of RIS-aided MISO Systems with EMI and Channel Aging

Abstract: In this paper, we investigate a reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS)-aided multiple-input single-output (MISO) system in the presence of electromagnetic interference (EMI) and channel aging with a Rician fading channel model between the base station (BS) and user equipment (UE). Specifically, we derive the closed-form expression for downlink spectral efficiency (SE) with maximum ratio transmission (MRT) precoding. The Monte-Carlo simulation supports the theoretical results, demonstrating that amplifying the weight of the line-of-sight (LoS) component in Rician fading channels can boost SE, while EMI has a detrimental impact. Furthermore, continuously increasing the number of RIS elements is not an optimal choice when EMI exists. Nonetheless, RIS can be deployed to compensate for SE degradation caused by channel aging effects. Finally, enlarging the RIS elements size can significantly improve system performance.

157. Joint Precoding for RIS-Assisted Wideband THz Cell-Free Massive MIMO Systems

Abstract: Terahertz (THz) cell-free massive multiple-input-multiple-output (mMIMO) networks have been envisioned as a prospective technology for achieving higher system capacity, improved performance, and ultra-high reliability in 6G networks. However, due to severe attenuation and limited scattering in THz transmission, as well as high power consumption for increased number of access points (APs), further improvement of network capacity becomes challenging. Reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) has been introduced as a low-cost solution to reduce AP deployment and assist in data transmission. However, due to the ultra-wide bandwidth and frequency-dependent characteristics of RISs, beam split effect has become an unavoidable obstacle. To compensate the severe performance degradation caused by beam split effect, we introduce additional time delay (TD) layers at both access points (APs) and RISs. Accordingly, we propose a joint precoding framework at APs and RISs to fully unleash the potential of the considered network. Specifically, we first formulate the joint precoding as a non-convex optimization problem. Then, given the location of unchanged RISs, we adjust the time delays (TDs) of APs to align the generated beams towards RISs. After that, with knowledge of the optimal TDs of APs, we decouple the optimization problem into three subproblems of optimizing the baseband beamformers, RISs and TDs of RISs, respectively. Exploiting multidimensional complex quadratic transform, we transform the subproblems into convex forms and solve them under alternate optimizing framework. Numerical results verify that the proposed method can effectively mitigate beam split effect and significantly improve the achievable rate compared with conventional cell-free mMIMO networks.

Abstract: Using 9.0 $\rm fb^{-1}$ of $e^+e^-$ collision data collected at center-of-mass energies from 4.178 to 4.278 GeV with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider, we perform the first search for the radiative transition $\chi_{c1}(3872)\to\gamma \psi_2(3823)$. No $\chi_{c1}(3872)\to\gamma \psi_2(3823)$ signal is observed. The upper limit on the ratio of branching fractions $\mathcal{B}(\chi_{c1}(3872)\to\gamma \psi_2(3823), \psi_2(3823)\to\gamma\chi_{c1})/\mathcal{B}(\chi_{c1}(3872)\to\pi^+\pi^- J/\psi)$ is set as 0.075 at the 90\% confidence level. Our result contradicts theoretical predictions under the assumption that the $\chi_{c1}(3872)$ is the pure charmonium state $\chi_{c1}(2P)$., Comment: 8 pages, 2 figures

Abstract: The orthogonal delay-Doppler (DD) division multiplexing(ODDM) modulation has been recently proposed as a promising modulation scheme for next-generation communication systems with high mobility. Despite its benefits, ODDM modulation and other DD domain modulation schemes face the challenge of excessive equalization complexity. To address this challenge, we propose time domain Tomlinson-Harashima precoding (THP) for the ODDM transmitter, to make the DD domain single-tap equalizer feasible, thereby reducing the equalization complexity. In our design, we first pre-cancel the inter-symbolinterference (ISI) using the linear time-varying (LTV) channel information. Second, different from classical THP designs, we introduce a modified modulo operation with an adaptive modulus, by which the joint DD domain data multiplexing and timedomain ISI pre-cancellation can be realized without excessively increasing the bit errors. We then analytically study the losses encountered in this design, namely the power loss, the modulo noise loss, and the modulo signal loss. Based on this analysis, BER lower bounds of the ODDM system with time domain THP are derived when 4-QAM or 16-QAM modulations are adopted for symbol mapping in the DD domain. Finally, through numerical results, we validate our analysis and then demonstrate that the ODDM system with time domain THP is a promising solution to realize better BER performance over LTV channels compared to orthogonal frequency division multiplexing systems with single-tap equalizer and ODDM systems with maximum ratio combining.

Abstract: Techniques to autonomously drive research have been prominent in Computational Scientific Discovery, while Synthetic Biology is a field of science that focuses on designing and constructing new biological systems for useful purposes. Here we seek to apply logic-based machine learning techniques to facilitate cellular engineering and drive biological discovery. Comprehensive databases of metabolic processes called genome-scale metabolic network models (GEMs) are often used to evaluate cellular engineering strategies to optimise target compound production. However, predicted host behaviours are not always correctly described by GEMs, often due to errors in the models. The task of learning the intricate genetic interactions within GEMs presents computational and empirical challenges. To address these, we describe a novel approach called Boolean Matrix Logic Programming (BMLP) by leveraging boolean matrices to evaluate large logic programs. We introduce a new system, $BMLP_{active}$, which efficiently explores the genomic hypothesis space by guiding informative experimentation through active learning. In contrast to sub-symbolic methods, $BMLP_{active}$ encodes a state-of-the-art GEM of a widely accepted bacterial host in an interpretable and logical representation using datalog logic programs. Notably, $BMLP_{active}$ can successfully learn the interaction between a gene pair with fewer training examples than random experimentation, overcoming the increase in experimental design space. $BMLP_{active}$ enables rapid optimisation of metabolic models to reliably engineer biological systems for producing useful compounds. It offers a realistic approach to creating a self-driving lab for microbial engineering.

Abstract: The process $e^{+}e^{-}\to p\bar{p}\pi^{0}$ is studied at 20 center-of-mass energies ranging from 2.1000 to 3.0800 GeV using 636.8 pb$^{-1}$ of data collected with the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII collider. The Born cross sections for $e^{+}e^{-}\to p\bar{p}\pi^{0}$ are measured with high precision. Since the lowest center-of-mass energy, 2.1000 GeV, is less than 90 MeV above the $p\bar{p}\pi^0$ energy threshold, we can probe the threshold behavior for this reaction. However, no anomalous threshold enhancement is found in the cross sections for $e^{+}e^{-}\to p\bar{p}\pi^{0}$.

162. Deep Learning for CSI Feedback: One-Sided Model and Joint Multi-Module Learning Perspectives

Abstract: The use of deep learning (DL) for channel state information (CSI) feedback has garnered widespread attention across academia and industry. The mainstream DL architectures, e.g., CsiNet, deploy DL models on the base station (BS) side and the user equipment (UE) side, which are highly coupled and need to be trained jointly. However, two-sided DL models require collaborations between different network vendors and UE vendors, which entails considerable challenges in order to achieve consensus, e.g., model maintenance and responsibility. Furthermore, DL-based CSI feedback design invokes DL to reduce only the CSI feedback error, whereas jointly optimizing several modules at the transceivers would provide more significant gains. This article presents DL-based CSI feedback from the perspectives of one-sided model and joint multi-module learning. We herein introduce various novel one-sided CSI feedback architectures. In particular, the recently proposed CSI-PPPNet provides a one-sided one-for-all framework, which allows a DL model to deal with arbitrary CSI compression ratios. We review different joint multi-module learning methods, where the CSI feedback module is learned jointly with other modules including channel coding, channel estimation, pilot design and precoding design. Finally, future directions and challenges for DL-based CSI feedback are discussed, from the perspectives of inherent limitations of artificial intelligence (AI) and practical deployment issues.

Abstract: We report on the orbit of the binary system powering the most extreme ultraluminous X-ray pulsar known to date: NGC 5907 ULX-1 (hereafter ULX1). ULX1 has been the target of a substantial multi-instrument campaign, mainly in the X-ray band, but no clear counterparts are known in other bands. Although ULX1 is highly variable and pulsations can be transient (regardless of the source flux), the timing data collected so far allow us to investigate the orbit of this system. We find an orbital period $P_{orb}=5.7^{+0.1}_{-0.6}\text{ d}$ and a projected semi-axis $A_1 =3.1^{+0.8}_{-0.9}\text{ lts}$. The most likely ephemeris is: $P_{orb}=5.6585(6)\text{ d}$, $A_1 = 3.1(4)\text{ lts}$, and the epoch of ascending nodes passage is: $T_{asc} = 57751.37(5)\text{ MJD}$. However, there are 6 similar solutions, acceptable within $3\,\sigma$. We find further indications that ULX1 is a high-mass X-ray binary. This implies that we are observing its orbit face-on, with an inclination $<5\text{ deg}$., Comment: 11 pages, 2 tables, 6 figures

Abstract: We present DeepSeek-V2, a strong Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) language model characterized by economical training and efficient inference. It comprises 236B total parameters, of which 21B are activated for each token, and supports a context length of 128K tokens. DeepSeek-V2 adopts innovative architectures including Multi-head Latent Attention (MLA) and DeepSeekMoE. MLA guarantees efficient inference through significantly compressing the Key-Value (KV) cache into a latent vector, while DeepSeekMoE enables training strong models at an economical cost through sparse computation. Compared with DeepSeek 67B, DeepSeek-V2 achieves significantly stronger performance, and meanwhile saves 42.5% of training costs, reduces the KV cache by 93.3%, and boosts the maximum generation throughput to 5.76 times. We pretrain DeepSeek-V2 on a high-quality and multi-source corpus consisting of 8.1T tokens, and further perform Supervised Fine-Tuning (SFT) and Reinforcement Learning (RL) to fully unlock its potential. Evaluation results show that, even with only 21B activated parameters, DeepSeek-V2 and its chat versions still achieve top-tier performance among open-source models.

Abstract: Bulk photovoltaic effect in noncentrosymmetric materials is a fundamental and significant property that holds potential for high-efficiency energy harvesting, such as photoelectric application and photocatalysis. Here, based on first principles calculation, we explore the electronic structure, dielectric property, shift current, and photocatalytic performance of novel nitride perovskite LaWN3. Our calculations show that LaWN3 possesses large dielectric constants and shift current. The shift current can be enhanced by considering spin-orbit coupling and is switchable by ferroelectric polarization, which suggests LaWN3 is a promising candidate for logic and neuromorphic photovoltaic devices driven by ferroelectric polarization. Additionally, LaWN3 shows advanced photocatalytic hydrogen evolution reaction as a photocatalyst. Especially, the (110) surface represents low surface energy and Gibbes free energy, implying that the (110) surface may be exposed to the active surface. Abstract: Magnetocardiography (MCG) has emerged as a sensitive and precise method to diagnose cardiovascular diseases, providing more diagnostic information than traditional technology. However, the sensor limitations of conventional MCG systems, such as large size and cryogenic requirement, have hindered the widespread application and in-depth understanding of this technology. In this study, we present a high-sensitivity, room-temperature MCG system based on the negatively charged Nitrogen-Vacancy (NV) centers in diamond. The magnetic cardiac signal of a living rat, characterized by an approximately 20 pT amplitude in the R-wave, is successfully captured through non-invasive measurement using this innovative solid-state spin sensor. To detect these extremely weak biomagnetic signals, we utilize sensitivity-enhancing techniques such as magnetic flux concentration. These approaches have enabled us to simultaneously achieve a magnetometry sensitivity of 9 $\text{pT}\cdot \text{Hz}^{-1/2}$ and a sensor scale of 5 $\text{mm}$. By extending the sensing scale of the NV centers from cellular and molecular level to macroscopic level of living creatures, we have opened the future of solid-state quantum sensing technologies in clinical environments.

167. GTA: a new General Tensor Accelerator with Better Area Efficiency and Data Reuse

Abstract: Recently, tensor algebra have witnessed significant applications across various domains. Each operator in tensor algebra features different computational workload and precision. However, current general accelerators, such as VPU, GPGPU, and CGRA, support tensor operators with low energy and area efficiency. This paper conducts an in-depth exploration of general accelerator for tensor processing. First, we find the similarity between matrix multiplication and precision multiplication, and create a method classifying tensor operators. Then, we implement two discoveries and introduce the systolic architecture into general-purpose accelerator. Therefore, we propose a new General Tensor Accelerator (GTA), which has a better area efficiency and data reuse. Furthermore, we create a large hardware scheduling space consisting of dataflow, precision and array resize. Our evaluation results demonstrate that GTA is able to achieves 7.76X, 5.35X, 8.76X memory efficiency and 6.45X, 3.39X, 25.83X speedup over of VPU, GPGPU and CGRA.

Here we show that the case can be the opposite in the regime of electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT). We predict that assisted by EIT, the homogeneous broadening of the 2DES at a higher temperature can be significantly reduced due to the detailed balance. 170. Engine-fed Kilonovae (Mergernovae) -- II. Radiation

Abstract: The radioactive power generated by materials within the ejecta of a binary-neutron-star (BNS) merger powers an optical transient known as a kilonova. When the central remnant of a BNS merger is a long-lived magnetar, it continuously produces a highly magnetized wind, altering both the dynamics and temperature of the ejecta, leading to the expected emergence of an engine-fed kilonova. In the first paper of this series, we conducted a detailed study of the dynamics of wind-ejecta interaction and the efficiency of energy injection through shocks. In this work, we combine this dynamical evolution with both shock-heating and additional X-ray irradiation to model photon diffusion within a constant-opacity ejecta. By calculating the radiation, we obtain the light curve and spectral energy distribution (SED). Our findings reveal that, with energy injection, a blue bump typically appears in the early stages ($\lesssim 1$ day). Furthermore, if the magnetar has not spun down by that time, a brightening in the later stages occurs. Despite this, in a large parameter space, the expected luminosity of the engine-fed kilonova is not significantly higher than the typical r-process kilonova due to limited heating efficiency. Abstract: Efficiently capturing consistent and complementary semantic features in a multimodal conversation context is crucial for Multimodal Emotion Recognition in Conversation (MERC). Existing methods mainly use graph structures to model dialogue context semantic dependencies and employ Graph Neural Networks (GNN) to capture multimodal semantic features for emotion recognition. However, these methods are limited by some inherent characteristics of GNN, such as over-smoothing and low-pass filtering, resulting in the inability to learn long-distance consistency information and complementary information efficiently. Since consistency and complementarity information correspond to low-frequency and high-frequency information, respectively, this paper revisits the problem of multimodal emotion recognition in conversation from the perspective of the graph spectrum. Specifically, we propose a Graph-Spectrum-based Multimodal Consistency and Complementary collaborative learning framework GS-MCC. First, GS-MCC uses a sliding window to construct a multimodal interaction graph to model conversational relationships and uses efficient Fourier graph operators to extract long-distance high-frequency and low-frequency information, respectively. Then, GS-MCC uses contrastive learning to construct self-supervised signals that reflect complementarity and consistent semantic collaboration with high and low-frequency signals, thereby improving the ability of high and low-frequency information to reflect real emotions. Finally, GS-MCC inputs the collaborative high and low-frequency information into the MLP network and softmax function for emotion prediction. 175. Rational Designing of Anthocyanidins-Directed Near-Infrared Two-Photon Fluorescence Probes

Abstract: Recently, two-photon fluorescent probes based on anthocyanidins molecules have attracted extensive attention due to their outstanding photophysical properties. However, there are only a few two-photon excited fluorescent probes that really meet the requirements of relatively long emission wavelengths (>600 nm), large two-photon absorption (TPA) cross sections (300 GM), significant Stokes shift (>80 nm), and high fluorescence intensity. Herein, the photophysical properties of a series of anthocyanidins with the same substituents but different fluorophore skeletons were investigated in detail. Compared with b-series molecules, a-series molecules with a six-membered ring in the backbone have a slightly higher reorganization energy. This results in more energy loss upon light excitation, enabling the reaction products to detect NTR through a larger Stokes shift. More importantly, there is very little decrease in fluorescence intensity as the Stokes shift increases. These features are extremely valuable for high-resolution NTR detection. In light of this, novel 2a-n (n=1-5) compounds are designed, which are accomplished by inhibiting the twisted intramolecular charge transfer (TICT) effect through alkyl cyclization, azetidine ring and extending {\pi} conjugation. Among them, 2a-3 gains long emission spectrum ({\lambda}em=691.42 nm), noticeable TPA cross section (957.36 GM), and large Stokes shift (110.88 nm), indicating that it serves as a promising candidate for two-photon fluorescent dyes. It is hoped that this work will offer some insightful theoretical direction for the development of novel high performance anthocyanin fluorescent materials.

176. Using Artificial Intelligence to Unlock Crowdfunding Success for Small Businesses

Abstract: While small businesses are increasingly turning to online crowdfunding platforms for essential funding, over 40% of these campaigns may fail to raise any money, especially those from low socio-economic areas. We utilize the latest advancements in AI technology to identify crucial factors that influence the success of crowdfunding campaigns and to improve their fundraising outcomes by strategically optimizing these factors. Our best-performing machine learning model accurately predicts the fundraising outcomes of 81.0% of campaigns, primarily based on their textual descriptions. Interpreting the machine learning model allows us to provide actionable suggestions on improving the textual description before launching a campaign. We demonstrate that by augmenting just three aspects of the narrative using a large language model, a campaign becomes more preferable to 83% human evaluators, and its likelihood of securing financial support increases by 11.9%. Our research uncovers the effective strategies for crafting descriptions for small business fundraising campaigns and opens up a new realm in integrating large language models into crowdfunding methodologies.

177. Deep Joint CSI Feedback and Multiuser Precoding for MIMO OFDM Systems

Abstract: The design of precoding plays a crucial role in achieving a high downlink sum-rate in multiuser multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) systems. In this correspondence, we propose a deep learning based joint CSI feedback and multiuser precoding method in frequency division duplex systems, aiming at maximizing the downlink sum-rate performance in an end-to-end manner. Specifically, the eigenvectors of the CSI matrix are compressed using deep joint source-channel coding techniques. This compression method enhances the resilience of the feedback CSI information against degradation in the feedback channel. A joint multiuser precoding module and a power allocation module are designed to adjust the precoding direction and the precoding power for users based on the feedback CSI information. Experimental results demonstrate that the downlink sum-rate can be significantly improved by using the proposed method, especially in scenarios with low signal-to-noise ratio and low feedback overhead.

Abstract: Groundbreaking applications such as ChatGPT have heightened research interest in generative artificial intelligence (GAI). Essentially, GAI excels not only in content generation but also in signal processing, offering support for wireless sensing. Hence, we introduce a novel GAI-assisted human flow detection system (G-HFD). Rigorously, G-HFD first uses channel state information (CSI) to estimate the velocity and acceleration of propagation path length change of the human-induced reflection (HIR). Then, given the strong inference ability of the diffusion model, we propose a unified weighted conditional diffusion model (UW-CDM) to denoise the estimation results, enabling the detection of the number of targets. Next, we use the CSI obtained by a uniform linear array with wavelength spacing to estimate the HIR's time of flight and direction of arrival (DoA). In this process, UW-CDM solves the problem of ambiguous DoA spectrum, ensuring accurate DoA estimation. Finally, through clustering, G-HFD determines the number of subflows and the number of targets in each subflow, i.e., the subflow size. The evaluation based on practical downlink communication signals shows G-HFD's accuracy of subflow size detection can reach 91%. This validates its effectiveness and underscores the significant potential of GAI in the context of wireless sensing.

Abstract: Cell-free (CF) massive multiple-input multiple-output (mMIMO) is a promising technique for achieving high spectral efficiency (SE) using multiple distributed access points (APs). However, harsh propagation environments often lead to significant communication performance degradation due to high penetration loss. To overcome this issue, we introduce the reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) into the CF mMIMO system as a low-cost and power-efficient solution. In this paper, we focus on optimizing the joint precoding design of the RIS-aided CF mMIMO system to maximize the sum SE. This involves optimizing the precoding matrix at the APs and the reflection coefficients at the RIS. To tackle this problem, we propose a fully distributed multi-agent reinforcement learning (MARL) algorithm that incorporates fuzzy logic (FL). Unlike conventional approaches that rely on alternating optimization techniques, our FL-based MARL algorithm only requires local channel state information, which reduces the need for high backhaul capacity. Simulation results demonstrate that our proposed FL-MARL algorithm effectively reduces computational complexity while achieving similar performance as conventional MARL methods.

Abstract: Using data samples with an integrated luminosity of $4.5~\text{fb}^{-1}$ collected by the BESIII detector at center-of-mass energies ranging from 4.66 to 4.95 GeV, we study the processes of $e^+e^-\to\omega X(3872)$ and $e^+e^-\to\gamma X(3872)$. With the $e^+e^-\to\omega X(3872)$ process, the branching fraction ratio $R\equiv\frac{\mathcal{B}(X(3872)\to\gamma J/\psi)}{\mathcal{B}(X(3872)\to\pi^+\pi^- J/\psi)}$ is measured to be $0.38\pm0.20_\text{stat.}\pm0.01_\text{syst.}$ ($R< 0.83$ at 90\% confidence level). In addition, we measure the ratio of the average cross section of $e^+e^-\to\omega X(3872)$ to $e^+e^-\to\omega \chi_{c1}(\omega\chi_{c2})$ to be $\sigma_{\omega X(3872)}/\sigma_{\omega\chi_{c1}}~(\sigma_{\omega X(3872)}/\sigma_{\omega\chi_{c2}})=5.2\pm1.0_\text{stat.}\pm1.9_\text{syst.}~ (5.5\pm1.1_\text{stat.}\pm2.4_\text{syst.})$. Finally, we search for the process of $e^+e^-\to\gamma X(3872)$, and no obvious signal is observed. The upper limit on the ratio of the average cross section of $e^+e^-\to\gamma X(3872)$ to $e^+e^-\to\omega X(3872)$ is set as $\sigma_{\gamma X(3872)}/\sigma_{\omega X(3872)}<0.23$ at 90\% confidence level., Comment: 19 pages, 10 figures

183. Fully Tunable Fano Resonances in Chiral Electronic Transport

Abstract: Fano resonance is believed to arise when a direct path interferes with a resonant path. We demonstrate that this is not true for chiral electronic transmission without additional direct paths. To address the Fano effect in chiral electronic transport, we suggest an electronic Mach-Zehnder-Fano interferometer (MZFI), which combines a quantum dot with an electronic Mach-Zehnder interferometer. Backscattering is completely suppressed in chiral electronic transport, yielding perfect Fano profiles that can be fully adjusted by an external magnetic flux in the transmission, linear conductance, and differential spectra. Even the current and shot noise for a symmetric interferometer with two arms of the same length exhibit fully controllable resonances and distinct Fano resonance characteristics. 184. S4TP: Social-Suitable and Safety-Sensitive Trajectory Planning for Autonomous Vehicles

Abstract: In public roads, autonomous vehicles (AVs) face the challenge of frequent interactions with human-driven vehicles (HDVs), which render uncertain driving behavior due to varying social characteristics among humans. To effectively assess the risks prevailing in the vicinity of AVs in social interactive traffic scenarios and achieve safe autonomous driving, this article proposes a social-suitable and safety-sensitive trajectory planning (S4TP) framework. Specifically, S4TP integrates the Social-Aware Trajectory Prediction (SATP) and Social-Aware Driving Risk Field (SADRF) modules. SATP utilizes Transformers to effectively encode the driving scene and incorporates an AV's planned trajectory during the prediction decoding process. SADRF assesses the expected surrounding risk degrees during AVs-HDVs interactions, each with different social characteristics, visualized as two-dimensional heat maps centered on the AV. SADRF models the driving intentions of the surrounding HDVs and predicts trajectories based on the representation of vehicular interactions. S4TP employs an optimization-based approach for motion planning, utilizing the predicted HDVs'trajectories as input. With the integration of SADRF, S4TP executes real-time online optimization of the planned trajectory of AV within lowrisk regions, thus improving the safety and the interpretability of the planned trajectory. We have conducted comprehensive tests of the proposed method using the SMARTS simulator. Experimental results in complex social scenarios, such as unprotected left turn intersections, merging, cruising, and overtaking, validate the superiority of our proposed S4TP in terms of safety and rationality. Abstract: Graph neural networks (GNNs) have been regarded as the basic model to facilitate deep learning (DL) to revolutionize resource allocation in wireless networks. GNN-based models are shown to be able to learn the structural information about graphs representing the wireless networks to adapt to the time-varying channel state information and dynamics of network topology. This article aims to provide a comprehensive overview of applying GNNs to optimize wireless networks via answering three fundamental questions, i.e., how to input the wireless network data into GNNs, how to improve the performance of GNNs, and how to evaluate GNNs. Particularly, two graph representations are given to transform wireless network parameters into graph-structured data. Then, we focus on the architecture design of the GNN-based models via introducing the basic message passing as well as model improvement methods including multi-head attention mechanism and residual structure. At last, we give task-oriented evaluation metrics for DL-enabled wireless resource allocation. We also highlight certain challenges and potential research directions for the application of GNNs in wireless networks.

186. AI-Empowered RIS-Assisted Networks: CV-Enabled RIS Selection and DNN-Enabled Transmission

Abstract: This paper investigates artificial intelligence (AI) empowered schemes for reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) assisted networks from the perspective of fast implementation. We formulate a weighted sum-rate maximization problem for a multi-RIS-assisted network. To avoid huge channel estimation overhead due to activate all RISs, we propose a computer vision (CV) enabled RIS selection scheme based on a single shot multi-box detector. To realize real-time resource allocation, a deep neural network (DNN) enabled transmit design is developed to learn the optimal mapping from channel information to transmit beamformers and phase shift matrix. Numerical results illustrate that the CV module is able to select of RIS with the best propagation condition. The well-trained DNN achieves similar sum-rate performance to the existing alternative optimization method but with much smaller inference time.

188. Building Semantic Communication System via Molecules: An End-to-End Training Approach

Abstract: The concept of semantic communication provides a novel approach for applications in scenarios with limited communication resources. In this paper, we propose an end-to-end (E2E) semantic molecular communication system, aiming to enhance the efficiency of molecular communication systems by reducing the transmitted information. Specifically, following the joint source channel coding paradigm, the network is designed to encode the task-relevant information into the concentration of the information molecules, which is robust to the degradation of the molecular communication channel. Furthermore, we propose a channel network to enable the E2E learning over the non-differentiable molecular channel. Experimental results demonstrate the superior performance of the semantic molecular communication system over the conventional methods in classification tasks.

Abstract: We report the first amplitude analysis of the decays $D^{0} \to \pi^{+} \pi^{-} \eta$ and $D^{+} \rightarrow \pi^{+}\pi^{0}\eta$ using a data sample taken with the BESIII detector at the center-of-mass energy of 3.773 GeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 7.9 ${\rm fb}^{-1}$. The contribution from the process $D^{0(+)} \to a_{0}(980)^{+} \pi^{-(0)}$ is significantly larger than the $D^{0(+)} \to a_{0}(980)^{-(0)} \pi^{+}$ contribution. The ratios $\mathcal{B}(D^{0} \rightarrow a_{0}(980)^{+}\pi^{-})/\mathcal{B}(D^{0} \rightarrow a_{0}(980)^{-}\pi^{+})$ and $\mathcal{B}(D^{+} \rightarrow a_{0}(980)^{+}\pi^{0})/\mathcal{B}(D^{+} \rightarrow a_{0}(980)^{0}\pi^{+})$ are measured to be $7.5^{+2.5}_{-0.8\,\mathrm{stat.}}\pm1.7_{\mathrm{syst.}}$ and $2.6\pm0.6_{\mathrm{stat.}}\pm0.3_{\mathrm{syst.}}$, respectively. The measured $D^{0}$ ratio disagrees with the theoretical predictions by orders of magnitudes, thus implying a substantial contribution from final-state interactions.

190. Seeing Text in the Dark: Algorithm and Benchmark

Abstract: Localizing text in low-light environments is challenging due to visual degradations. Although a straightforward solution involves a two-stage pipeline with low-light image enhancement (LLE) as the initial step followed by detector, LLE is primarily designed for human vision instead of machine and can accumulate errors. In this work, we propose an efficient and effective single-stage approach for localizing text in dark that circumvents the need for LLE. We introduce a constrained learning module as an auxiliary mechanism during the training stage of the text detector. This module is designed to guide the text detector in preserving textual spatial features amidst feature map resizing, thus minimizing the loss of spatial information in texts under low-light visual degradations. Specifically, we incorporate spatial reconstruction and spatial semantic constraints within this module to ensure the text detector acquires essential positional and contextual range knowledge. Our approach enhances the original text detector's ability to identify text's local topological features using a dynamic snake feature pyramid network and adopts a bottom-up contour shaping strategy with a novel rectangular accumulation technique for accurate delineation of streamlined text features. In addition, we present a comprehensive low-light dataset for arbitrary-shaped text, encompassing diverse scenes and languages. Notably, our method achieves state-of-the-art results on this low-light dataset and exhibits comparable performance on standard normal light datasets. The code and dataset will be released.

191. Voice Attribute Editing with Text Prompt

Abstract: Despite recent advancements in speech generation with text prompt providing control over speech style, voice attributes in synthesized speech remain elusive and challenging to control. This paper introduces a novel task: voice attribute editing with text prompt, with the goal of making relative modifications to voice attributes according to the actions described in the text prompt. To solve this task, VoxEditor, an end-to-end generative model, is proposed. In VoxEditor, addressing the insufficiency of text prompt, a Residual Memory (ResMem) block is designed, that efficiently maps voice attributes and these descriptors into the shared feature space. Additionally, the ResMem block is enhanced with a voice attribute degree prediction (VADP) block to align voice attributes with corresponding descriptors, addressing the imprecision of text prompt caused by non-quantitative descriptions of voice attributes. We also establish the open-source VCTK-RVA dataset, which leads the way in manual annotations detailing voice characteristic differences among different speakers. Extensive experiments demonstrate the effectiveness and generalizability of our proposed method in terms of both objective and subjective metrics. Abstract: Next-generation multiple input multiple output (MIMO) is expected to be intelligent and scalable. In this paper, we study generative artificial intelligence (AI) agent-enabled next-generation MIMO design. Firstly, we provide an overview of the development, fundamentals, and challenges of the next-generation MIMO. Then, we propose the concept of the generative AI agent, which is capable of generating tailored and specialized contents with the aid of large language model (LLM) and retrieval augmented generation (RAG). Next, we comprehensively discuss the features and advantages of the generative AI agent framework. More importantly, to tackle existing challenges of next-generation MIMO, we discuss generative AI agent-enabled next-generation MIMO design, from the perspective of performance analysis, signal processing, and resource allocation. Furthermore, we present two compelling case studies that demonstrate the effectiveness of leveraging the generative AI agent for performance analysis in complex configuration scenarios. These examples highlight how the integration of generative AI agents can significantly enhance the analysis and design of next-generation MIMO systems. Abstract: In recent years, there has been significant attention given to the robustness assessment of neural networks. Robustness plays a critical role in ensuring reliable operation of artificial intelligence (AI) systems in complex and uncertain environments. Deep learning's robustness problem is particularly significant, highlighted by the discovery of adversarial attacks on image classification models. Researchers have dedicated efforts to evaluate robustness in diverse perturbation conditions for image recognition tasks. Robustness assessment encompasses two main techniques: robustness verification/ certification for deliberate adversarial attacks and robustness testing for random data corruptions. In this survey, we present a detailed examination of both adversarial robustness (AR) and corruption robustness (CR) in neural network assessment. Analyzing current research papers and standards, we provide an extensive overview of robustness assessment in image recognition. Three essential aspects are analyzed: concepts, metrics, and assessment methods. We investigate the perturbation metrics and range representations used to measure the degree of perturbations on images, as well as the robustness metrics specifically for the robustness conditions of classification models. 194. Adaptive Anomaly Detection Disruption Prediction Starting from First Discharge on Tokamak

Abstract: Plasma disruption presents a significant challenge in tokamak fusion, where it can cause severe damage and economic losses. Current disruption predictors mainly rely on data-driven methods, requiring extensive discharge data for training. However, future tokamaks require disruption prediction from the first shot, posing challenges of data scarcity during the early operation period. In this period disruption prediction aims to support safe exploration of operation range and accumulate necessary data to develop advanced prediction models. Thus, predictors must adapt to evolving plasma environments during this exploration phase. To address these issues, this study proposes a cross-tokamak adaptive deployment method using the Enhanced Convolutional Autoencoder Anomaly Detection (E-CAAD) predictor, enabling disruption prediction from the first shot of new devices. Experimental results indicate the ability of E-CAAD model trained on existing devices to effectively differentiate between disruption precursors and non-disruption samples on new devices, proving the feasibility of model cross-device transfer. Building upon this, adaptive learning from scratch and threshold adaptive adjustment strategies are proposed to achieve model cross-device transfer. The adaptive learning from scratch strategy enables the predictor to use scarce data during the early operation of the new device while rapidly adapting to changes in operation environment. The threshold adaptive adjustment strategy addresses the challenge of selecting warning thresholds on new devices where validation set is lacking, ensuring that the warning thresholds adapt to changes in the operation environment. Finally, experiments transferring the model from J-TEXT to EAST exhibit comparable performance to EAST models trained with ample data, achieving a TPR of 85.88% and a FPR of 6.15%, with a 20ms reserved MGI system reaction time., Comment: 18 pages, 7 figures

195. Multimodal Emotion Recognition by Fusing Video Semantic in MOOC Learning Scenarios

Abstract: In the Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) learning scenario, the semantic information of instructional videos has a crucial impact on learners' emotional state. Learners mainly acquire knowledge by watching instructional videos, and the semantic information in the videos directly affects learners' emotional states. However, few studies have paid attention to the potential influence of the semantic information of instructional videos on learners' emotional states. To deeply explore the impact of video semantic information on learners' emotions, this paper innovatively proposes a multimodal emotion recognition method by fusing video semantic information and physiological signals. We generate video descriptions through a pre-trained large language model (LLM) to obtain high-level semantic information about instructional videos. Using the cross-attention mechanism for modal interaction, the semantic information is fused with the eye movement and PhotoPlethysmoGraphy (PPG) signals to obtain the features containing the critical information of the three modes. The accurate recognition of learners' emotional states is realized through the emotion classifier. The experimental results show that our method has significantly improved emotion recognition performance, providing a new perspective and efficient method for emotion recognition research in MOOC learning scenarios. The method proposed in this paper not only contributes to a deeper understanding of the impact of instructional videos on learners' emotional states but also provides a beneficial reference for future research on emotion recognition in MOOC learning scenarios.

Abstract: The Born cross sections for the process $e^{+}e^{-}\to \omega\eta^{\prime}$ are measured at 22 center-of-mass energies from 2.000 to 3.080 GeV using data collected with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider. A resonant structure is observed with a statistical significance of 9.6$\sigma$. A Breit-Wigner fit determines its mass to be $M_R=(2153\pm30\pm31)~{\rm{MeV}}/c^{2}$ and its width to be $\Gamma_{R}=(167\pm77\pm7)~\rm{MeV}$, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second are systematic.

197. On degree power sum in $P_k$-free graphs

Abstract: Let $G$ be a graph on $n$ vertices with degree sequence $(d_1,d_2......d_n)$. For a real $p \geq 1$, let $D_p(G)=\sum_{i=1}^nd_i^p$. A Tur\'an-type problem of degree power sum was initiated by Caro and Yuster \cite{caro2000degpower}: determining the function $D_p(n,H) :=\max \{D_p(G): \text{$G$ is an $n$-vertex $H$-free graph}\}$. They obtained some exact values for certain graphs $H$. For a path $P_k$, they mentioned that ``a close examination of the proof of Theorem 1.2 shows that the value of $n_0(k)$ in the statement of the theorem is $O(k^2)$", namely, they could show the $n$-vertex $P_k$-free graph with maximum degree power sum is $W_{n,k-1,\lfloor \frac{k}{2} \rfloor -1} = K_{\lfloor \frac{k}{2} \rfloor -1} \vee \left((n - \lceil \frac{k}{2} \rceil)K_1 \cup K_{1+k-2\lfloor \frac{k}{2} \rfloor} \right)$ when $n \geq c k^2$ for some constant $c$. Abstract: We measure the Born cross section for the reaction $e^{+}e^{-} \rightarrow \eta h_c$ from $\sqrt{s} = 4.129$ to $4.600$~GeV using data sets collected by the BESIII detector running at the BEPCII collider. A resonant structure in the cross section line shape near 4.200~GeV is observed with a statistical significance of 7$\sigma$. The parameters of this resonance are measured to be \MeasMass\ and \MeasWidth, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second systematic.

Abstract: Using 7.33~fb$^{-1}$ of $e^{+}e^{-}$ collision data collected by the BESIII detector at center-of-mass energies in the range of $\sqrt{s}=4.128 - 4.226$~GeV, we search for the rare decays $D_{s}^+\to h^+(h^{0})e^{+}e^{-}$, where $h$ represents a kaon or pion. 200. On the Fly Robotic-Assisted Medical Instrument Planning and Execution Using Mixed Reality

Abstract: Robotic-assisted medical systems (RAMS) have gained significant attention for their advantages in alleviating surgeons' fatigue and improving patients' outcomes. These systems comprise a range of human-computer interactions, including medical scene monitoring, anatomical target planning, and robot manipulation. However, despite its versatility and effectiveness, RAMS demands expertise in robotics, leading to a high learning cost for the operator. In this work, we introduce a novel framework using mixed reality technologies to ease the use of RAMS. The proposed framework achieves real-time planning and execution of medical instruments by providing 3D anatomical image overlay, human-robot collision detection, and robot programming interface. These features, integrated with an easy-to-use calibration method for head-mounted display, improve the effectiveness of human-robot interactions. To assess the feasibility of the framework, two medical applications are presented in this work: 1) coil placement during transcranial magnetic stimulation and 2) drill and injector device positioning during femoroplasty.
