Environmental risk perception has a long-time travel in the public participation in environmental fields. This perception involves individually socially constructed physical and mental experiences that involve many factors just for knowledge, attitudes, and the culture that develops in society. An individual's understanding of environmental risk provides an overview of an individual's preparedness for appropriate environmental risk strategies and measures. This cross-sectional survey study aims to collect data on the environmental risk perception of Indonesian students. The survey data instrument used in this study is the environmental risk perception scale (ERPS) questionnaire, transformed into Google Forms in the Indonesian language. The target respondents were 1,267 students from 1,300 undergraduate population size of educational study programs in the field of biology who came from various institutions in Indonesia. Sexual category, grade point average (GPA), and university status to explore the perception of the active student environment of prospective biology teachers with various parameters. The results showed several interesting findings: the female sex is more sensitive to environmental risks, academic abilities play a more logical role in environmental risk analysis, and respondents who have taken environmental courses have a higher sensitivity to environmental risk.

In the Cirebon region, there are several environmental issues exists, one of the problems is pollution. In the context of modern information technology, there's a growing preference for electronic-based educational materials. This study aims to evaluate the environmental pollution levels in Cirebon and develop a e-pocket book as a biology learning resource for high school students. The research follows the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) and utilizes observations, questionnaires, and documentation for data collection. The environmental assessment was conducted in Cirebon city and regency, and the learning media developed at MAN 2 Cirebon City. Results from the Environmental Quality Index (IKLH) indicate moderate pollution levels in Kejaksan District and mild-moderate levels in Talun District. The e-book was created using the Canva application and finalized into a link format compatible with laptops and Android smartphones. It underwent validation by material experts, media experts, biology educators, and student users, receiving favorable feedback with an overall rating of 87.24% deemed very satisfactory. It can be concluded that the development of this e-book on environmental pollution can be used as a learning media.

This research aims to produce integrated biology teaching materials with the values of the Al-Qur'an and As-Sunnah that are valid and effective in improving cognitive, psychomotor, and strengthening students' faith and devotion. This development research (R&D) uses the ADDIE model which consists of five stages, i.e. analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The data collection techniques used were literature studies, observations, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. Data collection instruments used include interview sheets, validation sheets, questionnaire sheets, pre-test and post-test question sheets, observation sheets, and checklists. The teaching materials were validated by three validators (material experts, learning experts, Al-Qur'an/Hadist experts), and practitioners from several biology teachers from different schools. The data was analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively (triangulation). The research results showed that the teaching materials developed met the very valid category based on the assessment of material experts, learning experts, Al-Qur'an/Hadist experts, and practitioners. Moreover, the products received excellent responses from the students. The teaching materials could improve students' cognitive and psychomotor and also increase students' values of faith and piety. Further action will be extended to schools, especially schools with Islamic nuances so that they can be used both as self-taught materials for students and as teaching materials for teachers to use in the learning process.

As a form of implementing Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) in educational institutions, an appropriate learning model is needed, which also accommodates aspects of spirituality. Before developing a model, baseline data is needed, so a broad-scale or national needs analysis is needed. This research aims to determine the profile of spirituality-based action competence for sustainability (ACS) among prospective biology teacher students throughout Indonesia. This research is a cross-sectional survey. The target respondents are students of LPTK biology education study programs in Indonesia. The target population size is 650 people, so based on the Krejcie and Morgan table, the minimum sample size with a confidence level of 95% and a margin of error of 5% is 620 students. The data collection instrument used in this research is the action competence for sustainability instrument based on spirituality (ACSIS). Data on respondent characteristics were analyzed using frequencies and percentages. The mean and standard deviation of scores were calculated for each item. Comparisons of two groups of students were analyzed using the Mann-Whitney U Test, while comparisons of more than two groups used the Kruskal-Wallis H Test. We discuss interesting findings in this research, including the aspects of spirituality in ACS among prospective biology teacher in Indonesia.

Learning must be able to develop knowledge, skills, and mindsets so that the graduates produced have attitudes, abilities and knowledge that are integrated and skilled in life. One way to achieve learning can be done through habits of mind because the success of learning is strongly influenced by habits of mind. The purpose of this study is to as certain how habits of mind and cognitive learning outcomes in biology are affected by learning process oriented guided inquiry learning with blended learning support. A pretest-postest design wih a non-equivalent control group was employed in this study. The trial ran from February to June 2022. Utilizing the habits of mind questionnaire, pupils' thought patterns were assessed. Essay tests are also used to evaluate the results of cognitive learning. In this study, google form, LMS, and google meet were used for data collection. Statistical Product and Service Solutions software version 23 is used for data analysis and the results of covariance analysis (ANCOVA) showed a p value < 0,005, meaning that POGIL-supported blended learning can empower habits of mind and cognitive learning outcomes in biology learning. There is a substantial difference between the outcomes of the least significant difference and increasing habits of mind and cognitive learning outcomes. As a result, POGIL with moodle support can be used to enhance students' habits of mind and cognitive learning results in biology classes.

Electronic student worksheets (e-worksheet) are needed as alternative teaching materials in learning. This study aims to produce teaching materials in the form of e-worksheet based on Search Solve Create and Share (SSCS) Islamic context to improve science process skills on class XI excretory system material that is worthy of the results of validity, responses of students and biology teachers. This research was conducted at MAN 1 Bogor. The research model used is a 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate), but in research only to the development stage (Develop). The e-worksheet teaching materials developed are tested for validity. The results of validity tests by design and media experts obtained 89% in the very decent category, material expert assessments obtained 84% in the very feasible categories, and expert assessments of Islamic religious education obtained 100% in the very feasible categories. The results of student responses obtained percentages of 89% in limited trials and 89.7% in expanded trials. Based on the findings of the research results, it can be concluded that E e-worksheet based on Search Solve, Create and Share (SSCS), an Islamic context to improve science process skills on the excretory system material developed, is very feasible to be used and applied to biology learning.

Biology as an integral part of science learning continues to be maximized by integrating technology into its learning design. The definite manifestation of this integration process is to achieve meaningfulness, activeness, and effectiveness of the learning carried out. The flipped classroom (FC) is gaining popularity as a pedagogical model that uses the important benefits of technology in its learning environment. FC is proven to be an effective teaching mode that empowers students' 21st-century skills, stimulates students' self-learning, and improves academic performance. The potential of the FC is interesting to explore to what extent biology welcomes the FC. The aimed of this systematic literature review is to review and analyze articles published by Scopus indexed journals. We used the keywords "Flipped classroom and biology" in the search menu in the Scopus database and succeeded in finding 72 articles. There were 21 articles that met the criteria for further analysis. The inclusion and exclusion model used is PRISMA. The findings obtained are the trend of FC publications in biology learning over the last ten years. The approaches used in this research include quantitative, mixed method, case study and qualitative. Key words that are often used by writers are student, human, biology. The biology keyword has a branch, namely active learning. There are 9 countries of origin of authors who publish articles. The United States is a country that is active in publishing. Articles published on each continent are not evenly distributed. The dominant articles are published in collaboration with one country and rarely are articles published by one author. We have succeeded in formulating a picture of the existence of the FC in biology learning over the last ten years. These findings can be a consideration or reference for researchers to explore and study more deeply research related to the FC in biology learning based on their respective urgency.

The people of North Kayong Regency-West Kalimantan still uphold the culture of utilizing plants as food, known as North Kayong local vegetables. Preserving knowledge about existing local potential and its utilization can be done through education based on local wisdom or local potential. It can be employed as a tool to enhance the efficacy and significance of education while preserving the unique possibilities of every area. The K13 curriculum is a curriculum of change from conceptual learning to contextual learning. The education process according to regional potential can be done through encyclopaedia media that attracts readers because the encyclopedia contains explicit information and is accompanied by pictures with bright colours. analysis and development, the creation of a local vegetable-based encyclopedia of North Kayong Regency as a biology learning media using a development model (D&D) consisting of six stages, namely: problem identification, description of objectives, design and development, product trials, evaluation of trial results, and communication of trial outcomes. The outcomes of validation and students response trials to the encyclopedia media developed obtained perfect scores. Where the validation test received a value from media experts of 97.08% (very valid), material experts of 90.22% (very valid), and language experts of 88.14% (very valid). Students responded very well to the small-scale (78.83%) and large-scale (84.47%) trials.

Technological developments in various fields are the key to progress in the digital era. The utilization of technology-based learning media in education makes learning more interactive and supports independent learning. This study aims to develop and test the practicality and effectiveness of storyline-based nervous system e-comics media to support students' independent learning. This research uses the Research and Development (RnD) method with the Lee & Owen model, consisting of the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The research was conducted with the subjects in this study, class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 2 Malang students, totalling 60 people. A pre-experimental design of one group pretest-posttest was used to test the effectiveness of the media. Data were collected through questionnaires and tests. The media validation results obtained 100%, material validation 100%, and student response results 98.7% in the class trial. The effectiveness test used a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The results showed a significant difference between the posttest of both classes with Sig. (2-tailed) 0.00 <0.05, there is a significant difference between the control and experimental classes. Storylinebased nerve e-comic media can facilitate independent learning more interestingly and interactively.

Issues in learning, particularly the utilization of learning resources, have not been maximized to facilitate teachers in guiding students to learn certain concepts related to the surrounding environment. This study aims to analyze the motives and colors of "Sasirangan" as a source of biology learning in high schools and the knowledge of high school biology teachers in Banjarmasin regarding the existence of "Sasirangan." This survey research involved 40 "sasirangan" craftsmen from 20 "sasirangan" production houses and 38 high school biology teachers in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan. The instruments used were interview sheets and questionnaires. Data analysis was descriptive using percentage techniques. The results of expert validation indicated that the interview sheets and questionnaires were suitable, with scores of 89.63 and 92.5. "Sasirangan" has great potential to become a source of biology learning, both in terms of motives and natural colors used by craftsmen. However, high school biology teachers in Banjarmasin have not fully utilized and conveyed it as a biology learning resource. While in other statements, teachers stated that they understood and explained that the existence of "Sasirangan" is very important to be conveyed in biology learning. Some teachers were able to provide information on biology concepts related to the existence of "Sasirangan."

Environmental problems are a factor that influences the health of the world's great population. Developed countries make pollution part of a serious problem in urban industrial centers. The aim of this research is to address the following objectives: (1) to analyze the trend in the number of environmental literacy research conducted annually; (2) to identify the methodologies employed in investigating environmental literacy in Indonesia; (3) to determine the demographics of research subjects involved in studies related to environmental literacy; (4) to ascertain the geographic locations utilized as research sites for studies concerning environmental literacy. This research focuses on content analysis that has been determined from various research published in scientific journals in Indonesia and international journals. In this research, the focus is on articles discussing environmental literacy in Indonesian journals indexed by SINTA. There are 24 articles discussing environmental literacy. positive trends were found in research related to environmental literacy. Among these articles, quantitative research is often found. The samples found in the article were mostly found in junior high schools. Apart from that, the data collection used was a test instrument. and most often use independently composed instruments. In light of the findings of this study, several recommendations have been made for further research.

Environmental literacy related to the utilization of medicinal plants in the community provides a foundation for the younger generation to take an active role and form an attitude of care and responsibility for environmental sustainability. The current research aims to introduce the Inquiry-Etnobotany (IEb) learning model to enhance students' environmental literacy. The research design applied a pretest-posttest control group design to assess the effectiveness of the IEb model intervention, comparing it with the inquiry and discovery learning models. Upon analysis, notable differences emerged between the pre-test and post-test results across various learning models. Specifically, the IEb model exhibited a substantial difference, indicating significant progress in student outcomes. Similarly, the inquiry model showcased an improvement, while the discovery learning model displayed a slightly smaller change. Furthermore, the disparities between pre-test and post-test outcomes were evident across the different schools involved in the study. The IEb model has a significant impact on enhancing students' environmental literacy. However, the research results in each school also demonstrate that various learning models enhance students' understanding of environmental issues despite the different levels of effect.

The perceptions of students who study environmental science related to pollution are certainly different because they are influenced by various circumstances. These circumstances, among others, depend on what they observe around them and their prior knowledge. This study aimed to determine the concept of pollution according to the cognitive structure of prospective biology teachers. The research was designed as a case study and the selected participants were 29 first-year biology education students who took environmental science courses. Data were collected by giving word association tests, open-ended questions, and drawings. The results showed that students' thinking process and prior knowledge influenced their ability to express ideas or answers. Cognitive perceptions of prospective biology teachers from the word association test brought up 30 words related to the pollution which were grouped into four categories, namely types of pollution, causes of pollution, consequences of pollution, and solutions to overcome pollution. Cognitive perceptions of prospective teachers based on open-ended questions, most of them wrote the definition of pollution as stated in the environmental management law, and cognitive perceptions of prospective teachers outlined in the form of drawing related to efforts to overcome pollution are throwing garbage in its place, doing reforestation, and go green action. This study aims to determine the effect of the Argument-Driven Inquiry (ADI) learning model on students' argumentation skills and mastery of concepts in human excretory system material, especially in the sub-material of kidney disorders. The research method used quasi-experimental with a group pretest-posttest design. The sample of this research was second-grade MIPA students in one of the high schools in Bandung, which consisted of 29 students in the experimental class and 25 students in the control class. The purposive sampling technique did the sampling. The study used some instruments, which consisted of a test of argumentation skills in the form of essay questions, an exam of mastery of concepts in the form of multiple choice, and a questionnaire on student responses to learning using the ADI learning model. The results showed that the ADI learning model had a more significant effect on argumentation skills in the experimental class than in the control class, with a significance value of 0.019. The quality of students' argumentation was at level 3. However, the ADI learning model did not significantly affect students' mastery of concepts in the excretory system material because a significant difference was not found between the pretest and posttest data in both research classes. Student response data shows students respond completely well to applying the ADI learning model. Therefore, the ADI learning model is recommended for biology teachers to improve students' argumentation skills and concepts mastery in other biological materials.

The learning model should be able to improve student's learning abilities. The Brain-Based Whole Learning (BBWL) model is one of the alternative learning models that can improve students' retention achievement, supported by scientific literacy and concept mastery. This study aims to determine the effect of the BBWL model on students' scientific literacy, concept mastery, and retention. This research method was quasi-experimental, with a sample of four classes taken randomly. The total sample was 132 students in grade XI Science Specialization in Madrasah Aliyah Bengkulu who enrolled in Biology. The data were analyzed using the ANOVA test after the assumption test was carried out, namely the normality and data homogeneity test. The results showed an effect of the BBWL model on students' scientific literacy skills, concept mastery, and retention. There is a significant difference between the BBWL model with BBL, WBT, and control. Based on the study results, it can be concluded that the BBWL model can improve students' retention achievement by supporting the result of good scientific literacy and concept mastery.

The efforts to empower collaboration skills are still a challenge for educational study programs in Indonesia. Various studies have focused more on efforts to improve collaboration skills, not exploring how lecturers' strategies are in training students' collaboration skills. This study aims to: (1) describe the lecturer's strategy for improving student collaboration skills; (2) describe the weaknesses of student collaboration skills; and (3) describe the lecturer's obstacles in improving student collaboration skills. There were 10 Biology Education lecturers involved in this phenomenology study. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and documentation and analyzed using the thematic analysis technique. The results showed that PjBL was the lecturers' most widely used learning strategy in improving student collaboration skills compared to other strategies. Specific strategies, such as implementing Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), were also adopted to promote student collaboration skills. PRA is used to optimize collaboration planning while coordinating student workloads. The results also show that students still experience various obstacles, especially in terms of communication, conflict resolution, and the formulation of collaboration results. The phenomenon of student participation inequalities is still a common problem for various universities. The factors causing the problems found included limited lecturer assistance, obstacles in preparing and developing assessment instruments, as well as obstacles in online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. This finding is expected to be used as a reference for lecturers and researchers in developing student collaborative learning strategies.

Research on active learning that emphasises question formulation activities has received less attention. This study was conducted to address the said gap identified in the literature by testing the thinking empowerment by questioning (TEQ) strategy on the level of conceptual understanding (CK) and critical thinking (CT) of students in Biology subjects. We used a pre-test-post-test non-equivalent control group design with a sample of junior high school students (n = 176). Participants were divided into three groups, namely (1) the TEQ group, 61 students; (2) PS (problem-solving) group, 60 students; and (3) the CS (conventional strategy) group, 55 students. We also considered the effect of school type (public and religious) on student performance in each treatment group and identified a potential correlation between CK and CT. Statistical results showed that TEQ had a more effective and significant effect on students' CK and CT than in the two control groups. However, we identified no difference between students in public and religious schools in each treatment group. In addition, this study also found a strong correlation between CK and CT through the implementation of TEQ. Finally, TEQ is an effective active learning strategy that promotes students' critical thinking in science content and is equally effective when administered to public and religious schools.

Active learning is centered on students and encourages them to participate in various classroom activities, with the teacher as a facilitator. Students are expected to develop multiple 21st-century skills through an active learning process, including digital and scientific literacies. Numerous studies demonstrate that students lack digital and scientific literacy, necessitating the empowerment and improvement of both skills through active learning based on TPACK (Technological, Pedagogical, and Content Knowledge) (Tütünis et al, 2022). The objective of this study was to investigate the effect of TPACK-based active learning on students' digital literacy and scientific literacy in Genetics. PBL (Problem-based Learning), RQA (Reading, Questioning, and Answering), and a mix of PBL and RQA are all examples of active learning approaches. TPACK-based active learning was used in the Genetics course because students perceive genetics as challenging. A pretest-posttest three-treatment design was adopted, with each learning model being applied to a group of students. This study uses parametric inferential statistical methods, using ANCOVA. Data on students' digital literacy and scientific literacy were obtained using pretest and post-tests. The results indicated no statistically significant difference between the three learning models. The students' digital literacy and scientific literacy both experienced an increase due to implementing the three learning models. The implications of this research are the three active learning models based on TPACK can promote students' digital and scientific literacies. Other educators can adopt the experience of teaching Genetics with PBL, RQA, and PBL-RQA to promote digital literacy and scientific literacy.

In the era of globalization, digital literacy has become one of the competencies that students must possess. Rarely can one find research that examines the effect of the WE-ARe model on digital literacy in biology education. WE-ARe is a constructivist-based active learning model consisting of Warm-up, Exploring, Argumentation, and Resume phases that emphasize students' collaborative and elaborative qualities. The objective of the study was to determine the impact of the WE-ARe model on the digital literacy of future biology teacher candidates. This is a quasi-experimental study using the Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The research population comprised all Tadris Biology students from IAIN Ternate and STKIP Kie Raha in the City of Ternate, North Maluku, Indonesia. The research sample contained 60 fourth-semester students from the Department of Tadris Biology. The validity score for the literacy digital instrument was 3.89 (very valid), while the correlation value (r-calculated) was 0.585. The Cronbach-Alpha analysis showed a score of 0.939, indicating that the literacy digital instrument was valid and reliable for use in data collection. This study was conducted during the even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. The data were analyzed through ANACOVA using 5% level of significance. The results demonstrated that the WE-ARe model had an impact on the preservice biology teachers' digital literacy. The findings of this study provide an insight on the use of a new learning model that can be used to enhance students' 21st century skills.

Students' knowledge of data analysis determines the quality of the research they report but they tend to perceive courses on statistics or data analysis as challenging and unappealing. The present study aimed to investigate the correlation between biology education students' attitudes toward statistics and their proficiency in determining various data analytical techniques. This study involved biology education students from the Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang who had completed a course in statistics, research methods, and data analysis. The Survey of Attitudes Toward Statistics (SATS) and the Statistics Assessment of Graduate Students (SAGS) were used sequentially as instruments for collecting data on student attitudes toward statistics and data analysis competencies. The results revealed that while most students had positive attitudes toward statistics, they perceived the subject as challenging to learn. Additionally, the students demonstrated low levels of competency in data analysis. The aspects of cognitive competence and difficulty from SATS correlate significantly with their SAGS score. These results suggest that there is a need for a revision of the biology education curriculum to better equip students with the skills and knowledge to increase their data analysis competencies.

The implementation of the Environmental Science learning process so far has shown a lack of encouragement to improve students' 4C skills. The EMKONTAN learning model is one of the models that is believed to improve students' creativity, collaboration skills, and environmental literacy. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the EMKONTAN learning model in improving critical thinking and collaborative skills for prospective biology teacher students. EMKONTAN is a student-centered learning model (students' active learning), oriented to creative learning, problem-based learning, collaborative learning, and provides opportunities for students to improve environmental learning. This research was conducted in the event semester of the 2020/2021 academic year at IKIP Budi Utomo Malang and FTTE Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang-Indonesia, involving 150 second-semester students through total sampling. Data was obtained through observation, questionnaires, and tests. The research used a pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design. Data collection in this study was carried out using Google Forms, Google Classroom, Google Meet, and WhatsApp. Data analysis using statistical product and service solutions (SPSS) version 23 software. The analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) analysis results showed that EMKONTAN, PBL affected students' creativity and collaboration skills in biology teacher candidate students with a value of p<0.005. The least significant difference (LSD) result was significantly different in improving students' creativities thinking, and collaboration skills. The EMKONTAN class gained the highest post-test score. Therefore, EMKONTAN could be applicable to improve students' creative thinking and collaborative skills outcomes in environmental learning.

One of the learning outcomes of learning Animal Embryology and Reproduction is that students can explain concepts about reproduction or embryology theory. Since concept map-based learning can improve students' critical thinking skills and analysis, and support their interest in learning, this study analysed the ability of students enrolled in the 2019/2020 Animal Embryology and Reproduction course to construct concept maps and students' cognitive learning outcomes through assignments and tests. This descriptive study involved 127 students in semester VI enrolled in the Embryology and Animal Reproduction programme at the Department of Biology Education, FTTE at the Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang. The sampling technique was saturated sampling and the data were collected through the task of compiling concept maps and learning outcomes with tests. The drafting of concept maps was assessed by the concepts and ideas, relationships between concepts, hierarchies, propositions, and spelling, with cognitive learning assessed by tests. The results showed that most students had sufficient ability to compose a concept map and very good learning outcomes, indicating that concept maps can be used to learn biology in Animal Embryology and Reproduction courses.

Current environmental problems are still seriously elevating. One way to reduce the threat of environmental problems is to change students' perspective and behavior to be more concerned toward the environment. This research aims to describe the environmental care attitude of student or biology teacher candidates in University of Papua. The sample in this study amounted to 75 respondents to biology teacher candidates. The data was collected by disseminating questionnaires through Google Form due to the pandemic conditions of COVID-19. The environmental care attitude questionnaire was organized based on 5 indicators, namely limits to growth attitude, anti-anthropocentrism, balance of nature, anti-exemptionalism eco-crisis. The results of the analysis showed that the highest attitude was on the eco-crisis indicator with an average value of 4.00, followed by the balance of nature attitude indicator with an average of 3.99, the limits to growth attitude indicator with an average of 3.81, the anti-anthropocentrism attitude indicator averaging 3.61 and the anti-exemptionalism attitude indicator averaging 3.48. The environmental attitude category was dominated by the good category of 86.7%, the excellent category by 8.0% and the low category by 5.30% and there was no apathy category / no matter the environment. Thus, in general, the students' attitude of caring toward the environment of Biology Study Program in the University of Papua is within the category of Good.

Many educators highly recommend integrating science learning with the themes of local wisdom. Orientation to indigenous knowledge and Western science is believed to facilitate students in connecting science learning with the actual condition of their surroundings. The applied curriculum yet widely provided an opportunity for such local integration in science learning. This study aim to investigates the indigenous science and values of Betawi tribe (Indonesia) traditional martial art "silat beksi" to identify ccontent's and valuable context for science learning in biology education on the topic of movements systems. This study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach of ethnoscience studies. Data analysis was carried out by qualitatively interpreting the results of interviews and direct observations (data reduction/categorisation, data appearance, drawing conclusions). The results showed twelve reconstructed moves of "silat beksi" based on the bones, joints, muscles and the type of movement. It shows a scientifically rich cultural context in the local wisdom of Betawi people. This research contributes to integrating aspects of local wisdom that are relevant to science learning. The classification of living things learning in school faced some obstacles, one of which was the difficulties in presenting the specimen of real living things. One of the advanced information and technology products in the form of digital or virtual-based learning media was expected to be the solution to this problem. Through this research, a virtual garden learning media was developed as an alternative learning media for the classification of living things. This development research (Design-Based Research) used an ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate), which consisted of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The development of the Virtual Garden application started with creating the workflow and wireframe, creating the 3D asset using Blender Software, producing the virtual garden interactive media using Unity-3D software, and adding the C# programming. This research involved an expert in learning media and an expert in Science Learning content as the validators. The results of Virtual Garden validation showed that this application had been valid and relevant to be used as a Science/Biology learning media on the classification of living things topics. Based on the implementation results, the students gave positive responses to the use of Virtual Garden in learning.

This study aims to test the validity and reliability of the IoJEPD model instrument to improve the competence of elementary school teachers. This study uses content validity. Quantitative methods and professional experts are the considerations used in this research. The stage of proving the validity of this instrument is carried out utilizing a validation process involving three experts in the fields of learning, evaluation, and experts in the field of instrument preparation. Validity is carried out in the form of a rating scale, which is shown at the level of agreement of the validator rating on the validation items and the Cronbach Alpha Coefficient to measure reliability. The results showed that: (1) 15 items of interview guidelines were valid with a validity index range of 0.883; (2) 17 items of valid teacher response questionnaire with a validity index range of 0.877; (3) 50 valid pedagogical competency questionnaires with a validity index range of 0.865; and (4) 40 valid professional competency questionnaires with a validity index range of 0.838. With Cronbach's Alpha coefficient, the reliability of the pedagogical competency test above is 0.901 and the professional competency test is 0.810. So it can be concluded that the scale is valid and very reliable to measure the professional and pedagogic competence of elementary school teachers.

The purpose of this study was to understand the relationship between critical and creative thinking skills and learning achievement of senior high school and university students of both genders. The sample consisted of 85 senior high school and 90 university students drawn using cluster random sampling. Senior high school level samples were drawn from senior high schools in the city of Tebing Tinggi, while university level samples were drawn from the Jember state Islamic institute. Regression analysis was applied to understand the correlations among educational level and gender differences in the relationship between critical and creative thinking skills and learning achievement. The results show that senior high school and university students' critical thinking skills correlated positively with both creative thinking skills and learning achievement for both genders. Furthermore, senior high school and university students' creative thinking skills show significantly positive relationships with learning achievement in both sexes.

Metacognition and critical thinking have become essential variables in science teaching. However, the low level of metacognition and critical thinking of students at various levels of education in Indonesia is still widely reported. Therefore, to minimize the gap that occurs, an instructional model is needed as an alternative solution, namely the GIRQA instructional model. This study aims to determine the effect of implementing GIRQA on the students' metacognition awareness and critical thinking skills in Biology. This quasi-experimental study used a non-randomized control-group pre-test and post-test design. The populations were 214 students from the 10th grade of the science program in one of the senior high schools in Jombang Regency, East Java, Indonesia. We used a cluster random sampling design to assign two groups (72 students) as the research samples. The instrument for measuring metacognition awareness was the metacognition awareness inventory. Then, an integrated essay test measuring critical thinking skills was given. The results showed differences in metacognition awareness and critical thinking skills between students taught with the GIRQA instructional and traditional learning models. The post-test mean of students' metacognition awareness and critical thinking in the GIRQA group was superior to the traditional group. GIRQA contributed 48.1% to students' metacognition awareness and 41.4% to students' critical thinking skills. Future research shall explore the relationship between metacognition and critical thinking using several instructional models.

Critical thinking skills are one of the main competencies to be achieved in learning. Critical thinking skills can be taught through various methods, such as integrating through student worksheets (LKPD). Observations on the use of LKPD conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Parepare showed that the LKPD used did not support the development of students' critical thinking skills. In this regard, it is necessary to develop worksheets based on critical thinking skills. This study aims to produce worksheets that integrate critical thinking skills. This type of research is research and development (R&D) by adapting the learning development model from Thiagarajan known as 4-D namely defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. However, the development results in this study are only at the develop stage, namely only producing student worksheets based on critical thinking skills. Based on the results of the validation analysis obtained the average value of the total validation is 1, with a valid interpretation. The results of the teacher's questionnaire analysis obtained a total average value of 96% with very practical interpretations and student questionnaire analysis obtained a score of 85.11% with very practical interpretations. Thus a based LKPD has been producedSkills think critically on the basic competencies of environmental change and waste recycling for class X SMA that are valid, feasible and practical. LKPD development based on critical thinking skills is recommended to continue to be developed on other basic competencies so that students are trained to use their critical thinking skills.

This research aims to analyze the characteristics of STEM-related visual content in Indonesian Vocational High School biology textbooks. Biology textbooks have been adapted to the latest scientific and technological advances and curriculum demands and declared feasible. However, some distributed biology textbooks in Indonesia may need to be improved and have various areas for improvement and problems. This study used NVivo to perform a descriptive statistic comprising 197 visual samples from the two biology textbooks. The results have shown that the type of "sketch & comics" is the most common at 30.5%. In addition, the type of "representation" is the most visual function found in this study, with 44.7%. The study has seen all of the STEM domains appearing in biology textbooks. Most of the STEM domain with visual content relates to scientific content. Other components discussed in detail and essential to the development of the student learning unit are schematic views displaying biological processes and representation functions. Therefore, the authors of biology textbooks need to consider the types and functions of visual content holistically, particularly regarding the context of the topics that can represent effective visual content and develop student understanding.

The purpose of this research is to develop the learning media, i.e., a digital magazine, to improve the biological literacy skills of the students. The research method used Research and Development (R&D) with ADDIE develops models. The developed learning media, HAIBIO, consists of biofact, bio lab, bioword, and biogame. The instrument test of biological literacy consists of 30multiple-choice items based on four stages of biological literacy: nominal, functional, structural, and multidimensional. The validity test is conducted by paying attention to presentation, content, and language by two expert validators who say that media is valid to use in the class. The test of empirical validity is conducted for 30 students in class XI Science 1 in MAN 1 Bogor City. The empirical validity test results show that learning media are valid, and the instrument test found that 15 items are valid and five items are not. The reliability test result shows that 88% of respondents said that the instrument of biological literacy is reliable. The result of the normality test shows a significance value of 0,117 in [alpha] = 0.05, indicating that the data is normally distributed. The T-dependent test result shows a significance value of -7.679 with a t-table of -2.042 in [alpha] = 0.05. It shows that there is a higher enhancement score post-test than pre-test. The result of the N-Gain test is 0,44 in the medium category, and the effect size score is 2.93. That shows that HAIBIO e-magz is improving the biological literacy skills of the students.

The use of Augmented Reality (AR) in education combined with local potency such as Naturindo Herbal Garden located at Sendangsari Village, Pengasih District, Yogyakarta, Indonesia as a center for the herbal medicine industry and learning resource for human digestive was identified as an important strategy for developing student learning outcomes. The purpose of this research was to integrate Naturindo Herbal Garden integrated AR booklet to encourage student's curiosity and learning interest about human digestion for grade eleventh. The AR-digestive booklet was developed by author in previous research then used in this research as learning media. This research was a quasi experiment, determination of research sample used simple random sampling to determine the control and experimental classes with 74 students, 3 biology teachers by giving questionnaires to collect students' interests, curiosity and teacher's response. The learning material in the booklet was conceptually correct, equipped with clear and engaging AR animations to support the learning process. The results showed that the local potential-based digestive system AR-booklet was effective for encouraging student's interest (87.5) and curiosity (91.6) with the results of in the high category and t-test value was below 0.5. Teachers stated the use of AR booklet had achieved remarkable results and was very effective. This study recommended the implementation of local potential-integrated AR booklet to facilitate student's curiosity and learning interest as an innovation in the biology learning process.

Collaboration skills and critical thinking skills are two real-life competencies in the 21st century. These two skills are believed to be related to one another. However, research on the magnitude of the correlation between the two skills is rarely investigated. Empowerment of these two skills cannot be separated from the learning model. This study analyzes the relationship between collaboration and critical thinking skills through the ethno-ECLIPSE learning model and conventional learning. This correlation study involved 240 biology students from various universities in Special Region of Yogyakarta and Central Java Provinces, Indonesia. Collaboration skills data was obtained through peer-to-peer rating scales, while critical thinking skills data was collected through essay tests. Data was analyzed by using simple linear regression. The research results showed collaboration skills significantly correlate with students' critical thinking skills. The contribution of collaboration to critical thinking skills is higher when applying the ethno-ECLIPSE learning model (86.9%) than in conventional learning (48.2%). Then, the regression equation formed from both learning is parallel but not coincident. The ethno-ECLIPSE learning model can be the right choice and is highly recommended for achieving learning goals, especially increasing collaboration and critical thinking skills of pre-service teacher.

Learning needs to develop student's critical thinking because critical thinking is at the core of knowledge construction. Both high and low-ability students should be encouraged to develop critical thinking skills. This research aimed to determine the effect of integrating the Think Pair Share (TPS) and Problem Based Learning (PBL) strategies on closing the critical thinking gap between higher and lower academic skill. The research design is quasi-experimental and was conducted using a pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design conducted in Kota Metro Lampung in Indonesia. Data on critical thinking skills were obtained by essay tests targeting the ability to formulate problems, argue, deduce, induce, and evaluate. Data were analysed using ANCOVA. It was found that there was an effect of TPS and PBL integration on critical thinking ability. There was no effect of the interaction between learning method and academic ability which led to this increase in critical thinking. TPS and PBL integration were effective in improving the critical thinking of lower-ability students in biology learning by about 24.63%. The researcher suggests that the teachers need to implement TPS and PBL integration in biology learning.

Although the empowerment of critical thinking (CT) has become an international concern that needs to be developed in the biology learning process for high school students, there still needs to be more relevant research literature. This study aimed to compare the effectiveness of implementing reading, questioning, and answering strategies integrated with creative problem solving (RQA-CPS) with RQA, CPS, and discussion strategies. This method used the pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design for one semester using four classes. We designed that the experimental group was taught with RQA-CPS, the control-I group was taught with RQA, the control-II group was taught with CPS, and the control-III group was taught with DP. This research involved 129 high school students in four classes with the topics Plantae, Animalia, Ecology and Environmental Change. These four topics are classified as complex material that requires CT to be able to understand in depth. The results showed that high school students' CT increased in all four classes, but the RQA-CPS group experienced the most significant increase and was significantly different compared to the other three control groups. Thus, the RQA-CPS strategy should be used in learning to improve students' CT.

The electronic-module (e-module) is one of the teaching materials needed so that the learning process can take place optimally. E-module owned by UM biology students generally do not use the latest technology. Augmented Reality (AR) is a form of technology where there is a process of integrating the virtual world with the real world. Not a few students experience difficulties in understanding the flower structure material. Student scientific literacy is still far from what is expected. The research conducted is Research and Development with the Lee and Owens Development Model. Data collection was carried out during October-December 2022. The technique of analyzing quantitative descriptive data. The subjects in this study were 37 biology students class of 2021 without any differences in gender, age and study program. The results of the effectiveness of the AR electronic-module based on n-gain calculations obtained a score of 0.7 where on that score the AR e-module was categorized as quite effective in increasing scientific literacy. It is hoped that in the future there will be teaching materials and media that can improve some of the competencies needed by the latest generation.

Students' worksheets ("Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik"/LKPD) are needed as alternative teaching materials in learning. This study aims to produce electronic students' worksheets (e-LKPD) based on creative thinking skills on the concept of environmental change. In addition, this study also aims to determine the level of validity, readability, and practicality of the Interactive e-LKPD developed. The research method used is Developmental Research using the stages of Akker et al which consists of 3 stages, namely: Analysis, Design and Development, and Evaluation Phase. Validity test results obtained an average percentage value of 90.06% with a very valid category. The readability test results obtained an average percentage value of 94.91% with a very positive category. The results of the practical test by biology teachers and students obtained an average percentage of 100% and 81.22%, with both categories being very practical. Based on the test results that have been done, it can be concluded that the Interactive E-LKPD is very feasible to use in learning activities. Therefore, the existence of interactive E-LKPD as a source of alternative teaching materials to develop students creative thinking skills in biology learning is in line with the implementation of Kurikulum Merdeka (Freedom Curriculum).

Inquiry skills are one of the skills that students need to master in learning biological concepts. Inquiry skills are influenced by many factors, one of which is the lesson plan. This study aims to examine the effect of inquiry lab and STEM models on inquiry skills progression. The research design used was a quasi-experiment non-randomized control group, pretest-posttest design, with three treatments, namely discovery learning lesson plan as control (C), inquiry lab lesson plan (E1) and STEM lesson plan (E2) as treatment. The three classes were randomly selected from six classes XI of Science. All students in the selected class became the research sample (N = 98), with details. The control class consisted of 33 students, E1 32 students, and E2 33 students. The material taught in all classes is the human respiratory system. Data in inquiry skills progression is measured before and after treatment. The instrument takes the form of an essay test. Data analysis using ANCOVA (p = 0.05%). The results showed that the inquiry lab and STEM models had a significant effect, and the inquiry lab model had the best effect.

Governance and regulation of the use of live animals in research and teaching is examined in Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, China, Japan and India. A comparison of the systems in different countries will enable the determination of best practice and fit-forpurpose regulation. The most comprehensive government regulation of animal welfare in institutions covers a broad range of animals and institutions are required to have an Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee, whose membership is specified in guidelines or regulations. The work of the Committees is rigorously overseen by government and facilities that use live animals are audited externally. All countries examined have legislation governing the use of live animals in research, although only Australia and Malaysia have a fully equivalent mandated oversight of teaching. Teaching that uses live animals is partly covered in the Philippines, Japan, Singapore and Thailand This paper thus aims to review the regulation of animal use in different Asian jurisdictions in order to determine best practices that are appropriate to those settings. The most comprehensive oversight is provided in Australia and Malaysia that essentially use the same regulatory framework.

Students' creative thinking skills need to be developed, one of which is through learning. This research was aimed to produce Augmented Reality (AR) media based on Group Investigation (GI) practice models on various living things to improve students' creative thinking skills. This research and development using the 4-D model. However, it only reached the Develop stage. The population of this study was students of SMA Muhammadiyah 10 Surabaya in the Science class, with 37 students in each class. This study collected data through validation tests, pre-tests, post-tests, observation sheets for creative thinking skills, questionnaires, and student responses. The data analysis technique used is qualitative and quantitative descriptive. The results of development research carried out by researchers related to Mobile AR media with display aspects with 17 indicators obtaining good category. Whereas in the programming aspect, seven indicators are good category. So, the Mobile AR media validation results are good category. Biological material in the application with AR with content aspects with eight indicators are very good category. Whereas in the learning aspect, which consists of 16 indicators, in the good/valid category. The material in this category is worthy of being tested in the field. Based on descriptive statistics, the pre-test and post-test proved to be higher. We discuss these results and its implications.

The integration of technology into learning assessment activities makes it easy for educators to carry out online assessments which provide convenience for students and an effective assessment. The purpose of this research is to find out the response of students in the Biology Education Study Program towards online assessment platforms for Biology materials and learning. This typed of researched was quantitative descriptive used a surveyed method which had been carried out in the odd semester of 2021/2022 with the researched subjects being active students of Biology Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Muhammadiyah Malang, a total of 114 students. The data collection technique used a surveyed method used Google Form and the data was analyzed descriptively. The results of the studied showed that of the 5 assessment platforms used in the researched, Quizizz and Google Form platforms was the preferred assessment platforms by students The results of this study indicate that in the future we need a product that can meet the needs of the assessment and according to the needs of the respondents. This product corresponds to the advantages and disadvantages of each online assessment platform. Thus, creating a more effective and efficient online assessment platform.

Student ethnicity is one of the internal factors that influence student learning. Bacteriology is a course that examines prokaryotic unicellular living things and is practiced in laboratories that need to implement projects. The aim of this research is to know the distribution of students based on their ethnicity. The research sample was students who programmed the bacteriology course in the Biology Education Study Program at Mulawarman University, in the even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. The research instrument is a questionnaire. The data analysis technique is percentage. The results of the data analysis show that there are various student ethnicities. There are four ethnic groups that dominate other ethnic groups, namely: Javanese (25.5%), Bugis (18.8%), Kutai (16.4%), and Banjar (14.9%). Completion of projects in groups whose members are heterogeneous based on ethnicity allows the participation of every member of the group. The conclusion is that there are various student ethnicities who program bacteriology courses, namely those consisting of ethnic Javanese, Bugis, Kutai, Banjar, Berau, Toraja, Paser, Mandar, Batak, Palembang, and Dayak. It is necessary to add a larger sample size for similar research in order to obtain more information.

One of the government's efforts to improve the quality of education in Indonesia is through curriculum changes. The independent curriculum prioritizes learning related to local wisdom. However, many teachers still need to implement learning in schools linked to the local wisdom of the area around students. This research aims to produce and validate a teaching module based on the local wisdom of macroscopic fungi at TAHURA Mojokerto with a Project-Based Learning (PjBL) orientation to improve scientific attitudes and science literacy. This development research was carried out using a 4D Thiagarajan Model. The analysis was carried out using a quantitative descriptive analysis technique. The data comes from the validation process by two expert lecturers. The results of the validity test of the learning plan obtained an average score of 3.56; the results of the validity test of learning media in the form of a macroscopic fungi herbarium, teaching materials "Kingdom Fungi", the Edible Mushroom booklet obtained an average score of 3.72; student worksheet validity test results received an average score of 3.52. The results of the recapitulation of validity data show a total score of 3.6 with a very valid category. Based on the results obtained, it was concluded that teaching modules based on macroscopic fungi local wisdom at TAHURA Mojokerto are PjBL-oriented to improve scientific attitudes and science literacy worthy of being applied in Biology learning at school.

Spirituality-based environmental literacy (SEL) influences ecological knowledge, environmental expectations, cognitive abilities, and environmental-related behavior. In this regard, this research aims to determine SEL among prospective biology teacher throughout Indonesia. This study included a cross-sectional survey. The target respondents are students of education study programs in the field of biology who come from various institutions in Indonesia. Gender aspects, study program accreditation status, and semester-level are positioned as respondent characteristics whose impact on environmental literacy is analyzed. The sample size is 632 students. The data collection instrument used was the ELIS. The data collection process is carried out online. Data was analyzed using SPSS. We discuss the results of different tests based on gender, different tests based on accreditation, and different tests based on semester-level. This research provides unique results. Women have higher levels of SEL than men. There are significant differences between men and women in terms of environmental literacy, although references do not always support this. Accreditation status does not support differences in SEL levels. Furthermore, the semester-level (final semester) has a higher SEL, but that is only in the knowledge aspect. On that basis, we suggest several aspects to consider in future research.

An identification key is one of the tools used to determine the identity of a plant specimen. This research aims to design an identification key for "M. crenata" and analyze its potential as an identification tool. The research uses an observational descriptive method. The identification keys were designed for populations growing in aquatic floating, emergent, and terrestrial habitats. The key types designed are (1) short parallel, (2) long parallel, (3) numerical, (4) circular diagram, and (5) columnar diagram. The key characters are qualitative and quantitative, consisting of seven morphological and two anatomical characters. The potential of the identification keys was evaluated based on expert judgment regarding the quality and relevance of the keys as identification tools, accuracy, time, and assessment of student satisfaction. The data were analyzed quantitatively and descriptively. The reliability of expert judgment data was determined based on the percentage of agreement and Cronbach [alpha], while the Kruskal Wallis and Mann-Whitney tests were used to analyze student assessment data and to determine the mean as well as SD of identification time. Student responses were processed in the form of percentages. The results of the expert assessment show that five key types have potential as a tool of identifying ferns diversity. Based on the effectiveness of key use and student assessment, numerical keys are the type that has the least potential, while short parallel keys have the best potential as a tool of identification. However, the five key types that have been developed can be used in learning to train students' identification skills.

Nearly one in five pupils in OECD nations do not possess the fundamental knowledge and abilities necessary to get by in today's communities (OECD, 2019), which is a sign of exclusion. There is an unfairness in that students from low socioeconomic origins are twice as likely to be low performers, suggesting that social or personal factors prevent them from fulfilling their educational potential. This study intends to investigate the achievement of the 21st Century Biology Skills Test (21CBST) and to compare it to students' level of socio-economic status. The result (TIMSS) (2015) revealed that Indonesian students failed to achieve minimum standards in Science and Mathematics, with 33.3% achievement in science and 35% in mathematics for content domain and 33,3% in the cognitive domain. Comprising 37 multiple choice items, the 21st Century Biology Skills Test (21C-BST) includes representatives from five domains which are; i) Digital Age Literacy, ii) Inventive Thinking, iii) Effective Communication, iv) High Productivity, and v) Religion, Health and Civic. The respondents comprised 210 form students who took biology subject in school. The study revealed that students from high socio-economic status scored higher than their counterparts from low socioeconomic status. This paper concludes with some practical suggestions for improving students' 21st-century skills, particularly within the context of biology teaching and learning.

Collaboration is an important skill for a teacher. Prospective teachers' perceptions about collaboration must be explored to discover their collaboration skills before becoming a teacher. This research aims to determine prospective biology teachers' perceptions regarding collaboration in their teacher preparation program. The study uses a mixed-method approach with an explanatory design. This research uses a survey instrument to obtain quantitative data and semi-structured interviews to obtain qualitative data. A total of 73 prospective biology teacher students were involved in this research. Data were analyzed using a mixed-method approach with explanatory design. The research results show that students have an expert level of collaboration. The gender factor does not significantly influence collaboration, but females have a higher overall score than males. Prospective biology teacher students have been able to define collaboration well, but their definition is not yet in-depth. Prospective biology teacher students have realized the importance of having collaboration skills to support their careers. The recommendation in this research is to develop an appropriate training model to train the collaboration skills of prospective biology teacher students.

This research is quantitative research to determine the effect of using the Discovery Learning model to assist animation video on the critical thinking skills of students grade XI on the digestive system. The research method used is Quasi Experiment with a Non-equivalent Control Group Design and used purposive sampling. The research instruments used were multiple choice (pretest and post-test). Observation sheets, and students' questionnaire responses. Data on critical thinking skills outcomes were analysed using an independent sample t-test in the SPSS version 26.0 program. The result showed that the use of Discovery Learning models assisted animation video increased student critical thinking skills with a gain value of 41.43 and n gain of 0.64 in the medium category. The result of the hypothesis test shows the value of Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05 which means H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This shows that the Discovery Learning models to assist animation videos have a significant effect on student critical thinking skills of class XI of SHS 1 Lahat in the human digestive system. The implementation of learning has an excellent category, while student responses have an excellent and good category.

Students' environmental knowledge and sustainability awareness are important competencies to prepare them to face global environmental challenges. The study aimed to evaluate the gender difference and correlation between students' environmental knowledge, sustainability awareness, and sustainability practice frequency after Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) in Biology lesson. This study uses a quantitative research design with a one-group pretest posttest design using cognitive tests and a self-administered survey. The participants were year X students in one of the schools in Indonesia, during 2022/2023 academic year, including 114 students (M=54, F=60). The result found that although Indonesian high school students generally have high overall environmental knowledge students have low knowledge of global warming. Students have a high sustainability awareness and a high average frequency of practicing sustainability. Secondly, this research found that gender differences exist where female has significantly higher environmental knowledge than male students. Female students also have higher consciousness in all specific domains of sustainability, and they have statistically higher sustainability behavior than males. Environmental knowledge has a statistically moderately positive correlation with the frequency of sustainability practices. Environmental knowledge has a weak correlation with sustainability awareness. The frequency of sustainability practices has low correlation with sustainability awareness.

Many ferns learning in higher education were organized conventionally and relied only on textbooks. Moreover, it is not in accordance with the characteristics or learning styles of Generation Z (Gen Z). This research aims to produce Pteridophyte Smart Cards (PSC) as a learning media by integrating cards containing real images of ferns with QR Code technology connected to Google Drive. This research and development uses the ADDIE model. This research involved three experts to validate the product's validity. As many as 26 Biology Education students at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang were involved as research subjects and were divided into six groups in the small group practicality test. Furthermore, there are 20 students taking charge to test the product's practicality and attractiveness. The instruments used were questionnaires, observation, and interview sheets. The results show that the product feasibility was 96.67%, media 97.06%, and design 94.44%, so it was declared very feasible. Based on the results of the practicality test, it is classified as a very practical category because the results of the small group test received a score of 85.71% and the class test was 90.89%. The attractiveness test results were 91.25% so it was declared that the products are very attractive. Therefore, it can be used as a learning media for ferns that are interesting, fun, and in accordance with the characteristics or learning styles of Gen Z students.
