Abstract

The article discusses the discovery of Rado Gazo of Purdue University that treating tungsten-carbon router bits and cooling them would have the possibility to last Longer in West Lafayette, Indiana. According to Gazo, bits applied cobalt as glue to keep the tungsten and carbide molecules together. He notes the friction heats from cutting, could cause chemical reaction in which cobalt both dissolves and evaporates.
