The article focuses on the pressure of standardized process of blood transfusion in Germany. Due to the decreasing numerous number of incapable donors of blood products, it costs pressures mainly in transfusion process. It is very expensive to gain a standardized procedure because it requires expensive devices like centrifuges and separators. One way of getting a high quality blood products is a bedside processing (BSP). BSP is the automated collection of blood products, with a high quality standardization and a high purity of the resulting product and a minimal number or no manual steps.
