In this retrospective cohort study, we describe the anthropometric and clinical outcomes of EEN as induction therapy for pCD in NZ. Although 56.3% of our patients achieved clinical remission, these rates are lower than European pCD cohorts where remissions rates are 84-86.6%.4,5 Further prospective study is warranted to understand the reasons behind this difference. Paediatric-onset Crohn's disease (pCD) is rising in incidence in Australasia.1 Exclusive enteral nutrition (EEN) is first-line therapy for induction of remission in pCD.2 Despite its routine use, there is little published on the outcomes of EEN in New Zealand (NZ).
