Since construction 4.0 was introduced in our construction industry, there has been a trend increase in awareness of adopting technology such as Building Information Modelling (BIM) in improving green building performance. Therefore, numerous researchers studied the possibility of Building Information Modelling (BIM) that the practitioner can imply in achieving sustainable and green results in Green Assessment Tools. Therefore, this paper aims to highlight the challenges of implementing Building Information Modelling (BIM) in green assessment tools. The objectives of this paper are to identify the awareness of BIM as a Green Assessment tool among the stakeholders and investigate the challenges in implementing Building Information Modelling (BIM) in Green Assessment Tools The research method for this paper is quantitative method research where the data obtained from questionnaires which have been distributed to consultant firms, contractor, client, and accessors that involve in green assessment. The data had been analyzed by using SPSS software which produces the frequency and descriptive statics in terms of percentage. The result showed that the financial constraint is ranked first which shows that, the high initial investment could be the crucial challenge in implementing BIM in Green Assessment Tools.
