To overcome such drawbacks, the recent researches reported that the renewable and biodegradable materials have drawn much attention in the packaging domain due to their eco-friendly nature. In this research, the biodegradable composite material has introduced for packaging applications using natural fibres. The different material of natural fibres such as Aloe Vera, Jute and Coir have used as reinforcement to make composite material. The mechanical behavior of Tensile, Compression, Flexural strength and Impact for different composition have studied experimentally and conducted the SEM analysis to determine casting failures. Comparatively, the obtained results show that the Jute material behaves better than others to replace packaging material do.

This paper presents a systematic approach for selecting mix proportions for fly ash and GGBSbased geopolymer concrete. Very little information is available on complete methodology in designing the fly ash and GGBS-based geopolymer mix. The fly ash and GGBS were activated using sodium silicate and sodium hydroxide as alkaline activator solution. The Na2SiO3/NaOH (alkaline activator) ratio was taken as 2.5 and the concentration of NaOH solution was maintained at 8 M. The main parameters considered in this study were binder content and alkaline solution/binder ratio for various combinations of fly ash and GGBS. The variables considered in this experimentation include: binder content (360, 420 and 450 kg/m3), proportions of fly ash and GGBS (70-30, 60-40 and 50-50), alkaline solution/binder ratios (0.45, 0.50, 0.55 and 0.60) and curing condition (outdoor curing and oven curing). Results concluded that the GGBS content, alkaline solution/binder ratio and curing condition are found to be most influential parameters on compressive strength and workability of geopolymer concrete. A new nonlinear optimal and explicit guidance law is presented in this paper for launch vehicles propelled by solid motors. It can ensure very high terminal precision despite not having the exact knowledge of the thrust–time curve apriori. This was motivated from using it for a carrier launch vehicle in a hypersonic mission, which demands an extremely narrow terminal accuracy window for the launch vehicle for successful initiation of operation of the hypersonic vehicle. The proposed explicit guidance scheme, which computes the optimal guidance command online, ensures the required stringent final conditions with high precision at the injection point. A key feature of the proposed guidance law is an innovative extension of the recently developed model predictive static programming guidance withflexible final time. A penalty function approach is also followed to meet the input and output inequality constraints throughout the vehicle trajectory. In this paper, the guidance law has been successfully validated fromnonlinear six degree-of-freedom simulationstudies by designing an inner-loop autopilot as well, which enhances confidence of its usefulness significantly. Almost 30 years of research work has brought out the first successful automated human face recognition system, called the eigenface approach, which can be classified under appearance-based methods. The representation of a face in the eigenface approach is done by applying the Principal Component Analysis (PCA) to a set of face images. PCA is a linear transformation technique that enables the eigenface approach for identifying the differences between individual face images and then analyzing these differences to recognize a face. The entire facespace is divided into individual face images called eigenfaces. These features are not exactly the facial features such as eyes, nose and ears, but they just capture the image points that provide meaningful variations between the faces of the database. Then a subspace of all these eigenfaces is constructed onto which each face image is projected and their weights are evaluated. A new face is projected onto this subspace and its weight is compared with the corresponding weights of known face images. Mycetoma is a Iocalised, chronic, progressive and granulomatous inflammatory lesion caused by certain fungi or bacteria. It is characterized by gradually increasing painless tumour like swelling with appearance of multiple sinuses, discharging pus and granules. We report 3 cases of unusual sites of Madura Mycetoma, affecting the chest, hand and knee. All the cases were treated by surgery followed by antifungal drug Fluconazole postoperatively. A novel mathematical expression for time moments (TMs) of discrete time interval system is introduced in this paper. Based on these TMs, the model of DIS is also derived. For computing the lower-order model for DIS, modified integrated derivative (MID) technique along with matching of TMs are adopted. To demonstrate this technique, a DIS is exemplified through test systems. The simulated results are compared with various existing techniques to evaluate the accuracy of the proposed technique. The paper presents an extension of the differentiation method for model order reduction of large-scale interval systems. This is an alternative approach to the existing differentiation method of interval systems. The proposed method has been applied for both continuous and discrete-time interval systems. The reduction of discrete-time interval systems is achieved by using simple linear transformation z = w + 1 and bilinear transformation z = (1 + w) / (1 − w) , where w ≠ 1. The proposed method always generates stable reduced-order models, and also it retains the zeroth-order interval time moment. Four numerical examples exemplify the accuracy of the method and computational simplicity. Furthermore, the difficulties associated with the extension of Routh-based approximations to interval systems for obtaining stable reduced-order models are discussed. Abstract: The paper presents an algorithm for order reduction of a discrete-time interval system based on the conventional differential calculus approach. The procedure initiated for the continuous-time non-interval system advances to the discrete-time interval system in a novel manner in this paper. The proposed algorithm is computationally straightforward, simple and leads to an acceptable results as compared to the existing techniques. This paper presents a novel arrangement of Routh table array for deriving an approximate model of a higher orderz-domain uncertain system. The demand for this computation is to procure a lower order model which is easy to be exercised in comparison to their original large scale systems. Additionally, the derived model should preserve fewer dynamic characteristic of the comprehensive higher order systems. The mentioned new arrangement is achieved from the arena of different combinations of numerator and denominator polynomials. The combinations are validated by their practice over the conventional example from the literature. This precise blend is then applied to a real-time system for its rational acceptability. Both the models play a significant role in establishing the algorithm. Besides this, the limitation encountered during the foundation course of the arrangement is also taken into consideration. The article focuses on the incorporation of nutrient dense dried amaranth leaves (Amaranthus tricolour) powder in Haryana State, India. The study shows that the supplemented products with five percent amaranth leaf powder are considered great sources of nutrients such as calcium, iron, and protein. Results of the study suggest the potential of amaranth leaves to be included in the daily diet of masses for nutritional status improvement.

Twelve germplasm cultivars of pigeon pea were screened for their tolerance to salinity during germination and early seedling growth. Germination, seedling growth and studies on proteins, nucleic acids (RNA and DNA) and free proline accumulation indicated that the cultivars ICP 7035 and 7065 showed high degree of tolerance to 0·4% salinity. These two tolerant cultivars showed lowered derangements in their metabolism and thus showed higher levels of proteins, nucleic acids and free proline than the other cultivars studied, indicating their adaptability to 0·4% salinity.
