In this study, to satisfy the urgent demand of vessel transportation marine service that are more standardized and intelligent, the vessel intelligent transportation maritime service portfolios in port areas (VITMSPPA) under e-navigation framework are proposed. First, we analyzed the qualitative description of vessel transportation maritime services in the maritime service portfolios. Thereafter, by combining the demand of e-navigation users and the vessel traffic service user's guide, we propose the logical demand and structure of the VITMSPPA. Second, based on this structure, a data model of VITMSPPA is established, which tally to the common maritime data structure. Third, considering the heterogeneity of VITMSPPA data sources and the characteristics of port traffic data, a data lifecycle management model is constructed to obtain intelligent maintenance of VITMSPPA data. Finally, taking Tianjin port in China as an example, the VITMSPPA is designed based on the electronic chart display and information system using VC++ and MySQL. The simulation experiments are carried out in the different process of vessels entering and leaving port. To eliminate the impact of contradictory information on vaccine hesitancy on social media, this research developed a framework to compare the popularity of information expressing contradictory attitudes towards COVID-19 vaccine or vaccination, mine the similarities and differences among contradictory information's characteristics, and determine which factors influenced the popularity mostly. We called Sina Weibo API to collect data. Firstly, to extract multi-dimensional features from original tweets and quantify their popularity, content analysis, sentiment computing and k-medoids clustering were used. Statistical analysis showed that anti-vaccine tweets were more popular than pro-vaccine tweets, but not significant. Then, by visualizing the features' centrality and clustering in information-feature networks, we found that there were differences in text characteristics, information display dimension, topic, sentiment, readability, posters' characteristics of the original tweets expressing different attitudes. Finally, we employed regression models and SHapley Additive exPlanations to explore and explain the relationship between tweets' popularity and content and contextual features. Suggestions for adjusting the organizational strategy of contradictory information to control its popularity from different dimensions, such as poster's influence, activity and identity, tweets' topic, sentiment, readability were proposed, to reduce vaccine hesitancy. • Content and sentiment analysis, k-medoids clustering for feature extraction according to systematic and heuristic information processing modes. • Health Belief Models, Planned Behavior Theory for topic, attitude coding. • Information-feature networks to visualize features' centrality and clustering to detect users' posting patterns. • Differences in text, display-dimension, topic, sentiment, readability, poster of contradictory information. • Contextual features impact more on information popularity than content ones. Global Positioning System (GPS) is currently the most frequently used wayfinding aid for driving. Yet, GPS is designed to act as a driving guide rather than to help users gain spatial knowledge. Accordingly, GPS might be less usable in situations where such knowledge is required or highly desirable. In this study, we experimentally study the influence of GPS display scales (single-scale vs. dual-scale) using simulated driving tasks in a virtual environment. The single-scale GPS is similar to the regular GPS view. The dual-scale GPS aid is a dual-scale navigation tool that provides two levels of detail, including both detailed and contextual information. The results demonstrate that the dual-scale GPS was more efficient in leading the participants to the destination during the simulated driving and was more useful for the participants to establish spatial awareness and a cognitive map; the dual-scale GPS participants also reported higher subjective evaluations. The proposed dual-scale GPS design and experimental results show some indications for designing new wayfinding aids aimed at increasing wayfinding performance while simultaneously helping users construct a cognitive map. This article introduces the most advanced form of electronic chart display and information systems (ECDIS) which complies with the performance standards for ECDIS established by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and International Hydrographic Organization (IHO). It also describes the key features and the important functions of ECDIS, which we developed. This system is different from the productions developed by C-map, Seven-cs, offshore, and others. It is more suitable for China Marine Safety Administration Bureau to manage the navigation marks real-time. Using this system charts were located and accessed rapidly, and displayed smoothly. This article also discusses in ECDIS application system how to dynamically access and desert charts data in a limited memory (limited computer memory and resource). We constructed a tridimensional structure to manage a large amount of charts data. Vertically, according to the scale range, all charts were divided into eight levels, and a data structure called as “Multiple Scale Quad-tree” was constructed. And horizontally, a grid (every unit has a fixed size) was given to a certain scale level. We call this data structure a “Regular Page.” We explore the implementation of such a structure on the worldwide charts management utilizing quad-trees. With complex terrain and developed economy, Zhejiang Province has suffered a lot from the frequent geological disasters, which have done great damages to the construction and development of the whole province. Therefore, it is particularly important to improve the geological disasters meteorological service. Electronic sand table system, a high-tech product of three-dimensional visualization, can provide the geological disaster meteorological service with the intuitive and visual application environment. In this study, we developed electronic sand table system based on GIS and established the geological disasters meteorological service database. In addition, we also analyzed and discussed the applications of meteorological service in online weather forecast, meteorological warning message, and multimedia meteorological electronic display. The application of electronic sand table system in geological disaster meteorological services for disaster prevention and mitigation is of great importance that it provides intuitive terrain analysis data for the forecast of geological disasters warning, which greatly enhances the ability of geological disasters meteorological service.
