International audience; Objective: To simultaneously investigate the psychometric properties of three recently developed health literacy measurement scales throughout adolescence in the general population. Methods: French versions of the Health Literacy for School-Aged Children (HLSAC, unidimensional) scale, the Health Literacy Assessment Scale for Adolescents (HAS-A, multidimensional) and the 16-item European Health Literacy Survey questionnaire (HLS-EU-Q16, unidimensional) were completed by 1 444 adolescents in 8th, 9th, 11th grade in general school and 11-12th grade in vocational school. Psychometric properties were studied using confirmatory factor analysis, McDonald's omega coefficient and hypothesis testing. Results: Structural validity was acceptable (HLS-EU-Q16) to good (HAS-A and HLSAC), no measurement invariance issue was found and internal consistency was acceptable for the three scales (0.68-0.84). Convergent validity was low (Pearson correlation coefficients < 0.5) and the only scale for which results were in agreement with a priori hypotheses was the HLSAC. Conclusions: Our results were supportive of the use of HLSAC to assess health literacy during adolescence but the HAS-A, with a slightly better structural validity, can also be promoted due to its three measured dimensions. Practice implications: The use of these scales in practice will help to focus on health literacy, a critical factor for prevention and health promotion in adolescence.

This study aims to find out the effect of storytelling assisted by pop-up media to improve language skills and attitude of opinion in children aged 5-6 years. This study uses a quantitative pre-experimental research design with one group pre-test-post-test design without a control class. This research is conducted in TK Laboratorium UM, Malang City; with the population of the students of Class B. The data analysis used in this study includes normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis test. According to research and data analysis that has been carried out and the results obtained in this study, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect between storytelling assisted by pop-up media to improve language skills and the attitude of opinion in early childhood. The regulatory role of the Micro-RNAs (miRNAs) in the messenger RNAs (mRNAs) gene expression is well understood by the biologists since some decades, even though the delving into specific aspects is in progress. In this paper we will focus on miRNA-mRNA modules, where regulation jointly occurs in miRNA-mRNA pairs. Namely, we propose a holistic procedure to identify miRNA-mRNA modules within a population of candidate pairs. Since current methods still leave open issues, we adopt the strategy of postponing any decision on the value of the module ingredients exactly at the end, i.e. at the moment of biologically exploiting the results. This diverts chains of statistical tests into sequences of specially-devised-evolving metrics on the possible solutions. This strategy is rather expensive under a computational perspective, so needing implementations on HPC. The reward stands in the discovery of new modules, possibly hosting non differentially expressed miRNAs and mRNAs and pairs containing genes that currently are considered not targeted. In the paper we implement the procedure on a Multiple Myeloma dataset publicly available on GEO platform, as a template of a cancer instance analysis, and hazard some biological issues. These results, jointly with the normal manageability of the computations, suggest that the discovery procedure may be profitably extended to a wide spectrum of diseases where miRNA-mRNA interactions play a relevant role.

Switchback experiments, where a firm sequentially exposes an experimental unit to random treatments, are among the most prevalent designs used in the technology sector, with applications ranging from ride-hailing platforms to online marketplaces. Although practitioners have widely adopted this technique, the derivation of the optimal design has been elusive, hindering practitioners from drawing valid causal conclusions with enough statistical power. We address this limitation by deriving the optimal design of switchback experiments under a range of different assumptions on the order of the carryover effect—the length of time a treatment persists in impacting the outcome. We cast the optimal experimental design problem as a minimax discrete optimization problem, identify the worst-case adversarial strategy, establish structural results, and solve the reduced problem via a continuous relaxation. For switchback experiments conducted under the optimal design, we provide two approaches for performing inference. The first provides exact randomization-based p-values, and the second uses a new finite population central limit theorem to conduct conservative hypothesis tests and build confidence intervals. We further provide theoretical results when the order of the carryover effect is misspecified and provide a data-driven procedure to identify the order of the carryover effect. We conduct extensive simulations to study the numerical performance and empirical properties of our results and conclude with practical suggestions. As single-cell datasets grow in sample size, there is a critical need to characterize cell states that vary across samples and associate with sample attributes, such as clinical phenotypes. Current statistical approaches typically map cells to clusters and then assess differences in cluster abundance. Here we present co-varying neighborhood analysis (CNA), an unbiased method to identify associated cell populations with greater flexibility than cluster-based approaches. CNA characterizes dominant axes of variation across samples by identifying groups of small regions in transcriptional space-termed neighborhoods-that co-vary in abundance across samples, suggesting shared function or regulation. CNA performs statistical testing for associations between any sample-level attribute and the abundances of these co-varying neighborhood groups. Simulations show that CNA enables more sensitive and accurate identification of disease-associated cell states than a cluster-based approach. When applied to published datasets, CNA captures a Notch activation signature in rheumatoid arthritis, identifies monocyte populations expanded in sepsis and identifies a novel T cell population associated with progression to active tuberculosis.

The implementation of the 2013 curriculum has not been fully implemented in Private High School Angkasa Medan , because teachers do not fully understand the learning model that must be used. This has an impact on the results of student chemistry learning that not all students are able to achieve the set minimum completeness score target of 75. This study is about the application of learning models and the ability to think logically in redox learning in class X Private High School Angkasa Medan. The population consisted of 6 class X students and the sample was taken purposively by setting 2 classes for the research sample. Both classes are taught with two models, with a combination of factorial 2 X 2. There are two factors tested, namely factor A in the form of a learning model consisting of Problem Based Learning (PBL) and Direct Instruction (DI) models, factor B: logical thinking ability high and low logical thinking ability. Data analysis techniques using 2-way ANOVA. Based on the hypothesis test at a significant level of α = 0.05, it shows that there is an influence of the learning model and students' logical thinking ability on the learning outcomes of topic redox chemistry, and there is an interaction between the learning model and the ability to think logically towards the redox learning outcomes. The results of the BNT advanced test indicate that the Problem Based Learning Model is better than the Direct Instruction model on topic redox chemistry learning.

Education in the 21st century aims to change the learning paradigm from teacher-centered to student-centered in order to improve student learning outcomes. Hence, a learning model is needed to improve the students' ability to solve problems by paying attention to their academic ability. This study aims to determine the effect of using the student academic ability-based problem solving and 5E cycle learning models on the student learning outcomes in addictive materials and addictive substances. This study used an experimental method with a 2x2 factorial design. The population in this study was all students of grade VIII SMPN 18 Padang. This study's sample was chosen using the purposive sampling technique, the data collection techniques for the student learning outcomes used to test techniques at the end of learning. The data analysis was performed by using the prerequisite tests (normality and homogeneity tests) and the hypothesis tests using 2-way ANOVA and continued with Bonferroni advanced test. The results show that: There is an interaction between the problem-solving model and the academic ability-based 5E Cycle learning model on the student learning outcomes, but there is no significant difference in learning outcomes between the problem-solving model and the 5E learning cycle model. There is an effect on the academic ability towards the student learning outcomes. There is no difference in the student learning outcomes between students with high academic ability in the two sample classes. There is no difference between the students with low academic ability in the two sample classes.

Background: Neuromelanin-sensitive magnetic resonance imaging (NM-MRI) is a validated measure of neuromelanin concentration in the substantia nigra–ventral tegmental area (SN–VTA) complex and is a proxy measure of dopaminergic function with potential as a noninvasive biomarker. The development of generalizable biomarkers requires large-scale samples necessitating harmonization approaches to combine data collected across sites. Purpose: To develop a method to harmonize NM-MRI across scanners and sites. Study Type: Prospective. Population: A total of 128 healthy subjects (18–73 years old; 45% female) from three sites and five MRI scanners. Field Strength/Sequence: 3.0 T; NM-MRI two-dimensional gradient-recalled echo with magnetization-transfer pulse and three-dimensional T1-weighted images. Assessment: NM-MRI contrast (contrast-to-noise ratio [CNR]) maps were calculated and CNR values within the SN–VTA (defined previously by manual tracing on a standardized NM-MRI template) were determined before harmonization (raw CNR) and after ComBat harmonization (harmonized CNR). Scanner differences were assessed by calculating the classification accuracy of a support vector machine (SVM). To assess the effect of harmonization on biological variability, support vector regression (SVR) was used to predict age and the difference in goodness-of-fit (Δr) was calculated as the correlation (between actual and predicted ages) for the harmonized CNR minus the correlation for the raw CNR. The aim of the study is to analyze and forecast the use of payment cards for making non-cash payments through national payment systems in Kazakhstan. Based on this goal, a hypothesis was put forward that in Kazakhstan, there is a relationship between the number of payment cards and the volume of non-cash payments. This hypothesis was confirmed because of the study. The information base of the study was the data on payment cards, which were taken from the Statistical Bulletin of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Hypothesis testing was carried out using correlation analysis for three periods: 2009, 2016, 2020. The method of finding Pearson’s correlation in the SPSS program was used. The results showed a downward change in the relationship between the selected indicators and the amount of funds transferred over time. Also, in this study, a forecast was made for 2021-2023 for the indicators under consideration. To make a forecast for the indicators under consideration, a graphical method (polynomial trend line) was used. The resulting forecast shows the growth of cardholders and, consequently, the spread of the number of payment cards among the population in 2021-2023. The practical significance of this study is that the proposed methodology can help predict the dynamics of payment cards in any country in the world. Recommendations are also given for further improving the financial system, since increasing the transparency of monetary circulation in small-and-medium sized businesses will lead to a positive result in the implementation of the program for universal declaration of income in 2025.

This research aims to illustrate the effectiveness of short story writing learning with modeling methods in private high school students of The Langkat Bahorok Regional Government compared to lecture methods. The population in this study was all students of class VIII of the Private High School Langkat Bahorok With a sample number of 20 people for each treatment. A research method is an experiment that compares between two groups given different treatment, in which case the experimental group is given short story writing learning with modeling methods and the control group is given learning by lecture method. From the distribution results obtained: (1) The experimental group that got learning to write short stories with modeling methods had an average value (Mean) of 74.75 and standard deviation (SD) of 15.66; (2) The control group that learned to write short stories with lecture methods had an average score (mean) of 62.5 and Standard Deviation (SD) of 10.97. Furthermore, from the calculation of the hypothesis test obtained greatly t hitung = 2,37 at a significance level of 5% price t tabel = 2,02 and to a degree 1% price t tabel = 2,71. Because of the price t hitung Bigger than t tabel (2,02 < 2,37 < 2,71), then the nil hypothesis (Ho) can be rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, which means there is a significant influence between the learning outcomes of writing short stories with modeling methods and learning outcomes of writing short stories with lecture methods on students Private High School Langkat Bahorok.

The goal of this research was to determine whether there is an effect of @Raikubeauty Instagram social media content on the dare to be bare campaign on the Image Raiku brand. Quantitative explanatory research is used, including data collection techniques in the form of surveys. The population consisted of @Raikubeauty followers, with a sample size of 395 responses calculated using the Taro Yamane formula, and the hypothesis was tested using simple linear regression. The findings of hypothesis testing suggest that social media content on Instagram regarding the campaign dare to be bare has a substantial effect on brand image by 60.2 percent. This suggests that the dimensions of campaign-related social media material have an impact on brand image.

Background: The growth and development of children are two events that are different in nature but are related to one another. It is possible for people in downtown areas to experience easy internet access, so that everything cannot be separated from digital media. Especially during the COVID-19 pandemic like today, where children have to stay at home more, besides that learning is also done from home, so the screen time has increased. The goals of the research is to analyze the relationship between screen time among children with nutritional status and their development.Methods: The research design used cross sectional analysis. The population is all children aged 3-5 years in Kalumpang Village in November 2020 as many as 497 children, the number of samples is 84 children using purposive sampling technique.Results: Based on the spearman-rank statistical test, it is known that p-value = 0.002 (p-value α), which with the correlation coefficient (r) = 0.330 that the relationship between Screen time with nutritional status is in the low category and has a positive relationship direction, namely the higher the screen time, the higher the nutritional status. Meanwhile, based on the spearman-rank statistical test, it is known that p-value = 0.001 (p-value α), with the correlation coefficient (r) = 0.371 that the relationship between Screen time with development is in the low category and has a positive relationship direction, namely the higher the screen time, the development will deviate from age.Conclusion: There is a relationship between screen time and nutritional status and there is a relationship between screen time and children development. So it is very important to improve parental control behavior towards the use of electronic devices in children aged 3-5 years old.

Consumers of products and services and goods always consider many things before actually making a decision to buy. Including coffee beverage products, in addition to the price, the shop atmosphere factor is also a consideration for potential consumers. This study aims at determining the effect of Store Atmosphere and Prices on Purchasing Decisions at Identic Coffee in Central Jakarta. This study used quantitative research methods with associative types and primary data as a source of data obtained from questionnaire results. The population of this study was cafe consumers isolated at Cempaka Putih street 114, Central Jakarta with population of 394 people, and samples of 79 people. The analytical methods used is were validity, reliability, normality tests, multiple linear regression correlation coefficient analysis, determinant coefficient test and hypothesis test using SPSS. The results of this study showed that: Store Atmosphere had a positive effect on Purchasing Decisions with a regression value of 0.653 and a significance level of 0.000. Price had a positive effect on Purchasing Decisions with a regression value of 0.686 and a significance level of 0.000. Store Atmosphere and Price simultaneously had a positive effect on Purchasing Decisions with a calculated F value of 13.607 greater than the F tabel of 3.12 and a significance level of 0.000 less than 0.05 (4) The amount of the effect of Store Atmosphere and Price on Purchasing Decision was 77.60% while the remaining 22.40% was effected by other variables not examined by the author.

The influence of scoence, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) Integrend Learnng Process on the Learning Outcomes of 1 th Grade Student (An Experimental Research Implementend in SMA 1 State Senior High School if Gorontalo). This study aimed to determine the differences in learning outcomes of student with the implementation of the Ppa-STEM learning model whilw the control class implemented the learning cycle (5E) learning model on the topic of “population planning and Development Dynamis in Indonesia”. To achieve these objecives, this research employed experimental design with post-test Control Group Design. Data collection techniques involved learning result test, which was provided towards the sample of research. The sample of the study consisted of two classes; class XIb3 of social science as the control class employed the learning cycle (5E) model. During the hypothesis testing, the homogeneity and normality test of the data was conducted in order to conduct hypothesis testing by using parametric statistics. The data normality test employed a chi-square statistical test of the pair of null hypothesis Ho and its match Hi with α = 0,05 significal rate. The test result showed that χ2count χ2table for the experimental class with 3,449 11,070 and the control class of 1,023 9,488. The result revealed that the two data classes can be normally distributed. Based on the results of normality test data, the average score pg students learning outcomes used the statistical test. The hypothesis test results obtained tcount ttable which was 6,58 2,02. All in all, the results revealed that there were differences in the learning outcomes of students who used the two aforeentioned learning models.

This study aims to analyze the effect of project-based assessment based on local culture on students' scientific attitudes and science process skills in science learning in elementary schools. This research is a quasi-experimental study with a non-equivalent post-test-only control group design. The population in this study was 151 participants, while the sample selected through random sampling technique was 61 participants divided into two classes. The data collection methods in this research were test and non-test methods. The instruments used were scientific attitude questionnaires and performance tests, and observation sheets. The purpose of this study was to examine the differences in ethical sensitivity and moral considerations of students based on semester and gender. The population of this study was Accounting Students at the University of Muhammadiyah Bengkulu. Sampling using the purposive sampling method to obtain as many as 87 respondents. The method of data collection is the questionnaire method. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistical analysis, data quality test, and hypothesis testing. The result of this research is that there is no difference between the ability of students who have received accounting ethics education in identifying ethical dilemmas compared to the ability of students who have not received accounting ethics education. The ability of female students who have received accounting ethics education is higher in identifying ethical dilemmas than the ability of male students. The ability of students who have received accounting ethics education is higher in making moral judgments than the ability of students who have not received accounting ethics education. There is no difference between the ability of female students who have received accounting ethics education better in making moral judgments than the ability of male students.

In the learning process not every student succeeds through the learning process done in other words not every student can achieve the learning objectives as expected. This is due to abstract mathematical concepts. Many factors influence it, including intelligence, learning readiness, interests, motivation, teacher abilities, maturity, family, school and community. The purpose of this study is to know the meaningful influence of learning on students' math learning outcomes. This research uses descriptive quantitative methods. The population in this study is all grade VII students of SMPN 1 Katibung Lampung Selatan. The results of the hypothesis test using the t-test showed the influence of meaningful learning application on improving the results of mathematics learning students of grade VII SMPN 1 Katibung south lampung. Students who apply meaningful learning have a higher average math learning outcome than the average student learning outcomes that do not apply meaningful learning. Thus, the application of meaningful learning can improve students' math learning outcomes.

Improving learning outcomes can be done in various ways, one of which is by applying the right learning model, one of which is Contextual Teaching and Learning. Since the Covid 19 pandemic attacked the world, learning that was previously carried out offline has suddenly been carried out online by utilizing technology. Although online the Contextual Teaching and Learning model can be applied in online learning by utilizing media zoom meetings, google meetings, Google Classroom, and WhatsApp group. This research aims to determine whether there is an effect of the Contextual Teaching and Learning model carried out online on the learning outcomes of Biology students at Unisumuh Makassar. The method in this research is a type of quasi-experiment research with a pretest-posttest control group design research design. The population of this research was all students of biology Unismuh semester V and the sample in this study was 47 students, consisting of 25 people in the experimental group and 22 in the control group. The samples in this study were determined by using a random sampling technique. The results showed that the results of the data analysis of hypothesis testing using the t-test (independent-sample t-test) obtained a Sig value of 0.006 with a significance level (α) of 0.05, which indicates that the Sig value is smaller than the significance level (α). So the conclusion in this study is that there is an effect of the influence of the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model applied in online learning on the learning outcomes of Biology students at Unismuh Makassar. This paper aimed at investigating the impact of talent management strategies on improving the strategic performance of business organizations. To achieve the study objectives, a survey methodology was utilized using questionnaires for collecting data from seventy-six Saudi manufacturing listed companies which represents the research population. Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS, V. 19) was utilized for data analysis using several statistical tests and methods including arithmetic Mean, Standard Deviation, Exploratory Factor Analysis, and Linear and step Regression. The main findings of the study indicate that talent management strategies dimensions together have a significant impact on strategic performance. However, individually, it was found that development and motivation were the only talent strategy dimensions that have a significant impact on strategic performance. In addition, the study reveals that talent management strategies were moderately implemented in Saudi manufacturing companies with a mean of (3.57) and that their strategic performance was also moderate with a mean (3.55). The study presented several recommendations for Saudi manufacturing companies including that importance of establishing specific section for talent management responsible for implementing talent management strategies according to scientific methodology that would enable these companies to achieve positive results in the long run. The purpose of the study was to determine whether student activity in the organization affected learning achievement and soft skills improvement. This study used a descriptive quantitative approach; data collection techniques used was the questionnaire method. The research population was 365 students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, UNP Kediri class of 2018. The samples were taken using a purposive sampling technique with a total of 79 students. Data analyses used were validity, reliability, normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity tests, simple regression analysis techniques, hypothesis testing and determination tests (R2). This study used SPSS software version 23 which showed the results of the t-test of learning achievement variable values with a sig of 0.46 ftable with a total of 3,970 ftables, simultaneously student activity in the organization had a positive and significant influence on learning achievement and improvement of soft skills on Economics and Business students of Nusantara PGRI University, Kediri. The aim of this study is to know and analyze the effect of investment decisions, leverage, profitabilitas and firm size on firm value. The population in this study is manufacturing companies of the sector of cosmetics and household use which are listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in the period 2013-2020. Sampling was done by purposive with the criteria that have been set previously. Data analysis this study uses the Partial Least Square approach (PLS). The results of the test accuracy of the model by looking at the R Square Adjusted that contributed to the model in explaining the relationship of the structural variables is equal to 0,604 (or 60,40%). Variable firm size as a control variable can build a better model by looking at the results of the hypothesis test obtained leads to significant overall. Based on the hypothesis test results, it is found as follows, the first hypothesis; which declares the variable investment decisions have a significant positive impact on the value of the company can be accepted. The results of the test of the second hypothesis; which states leverage has a significant positive impact on the value of the company can be accepted. The results of the test of the third hypothesis; stating profitability has a significant positive impact on the value of the company can be accepted.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of learning readiness and learning motivation together on the learning outcomes of social studies subjects for class VIII students at SMPN 1 Tarumajaya Bekasi. In addition, researchers hope that readers, especially schools, can pay attention to student learning readiness and student motivation to improve learning outcomes. The method used in analyzing this research is a quantitative research method. The population in this study was 400 of all class VIII students for the 2020/2021 academic year and a sample of 92 students. Through correlation calculations obtained rx1y 0.740 and rx2y 0.748, which means there is a high correlation between X1 to Y and X2 to Y. Analysis of the coefficient of determination obtained 0.900 This shows that the contribution of variables X1 (Readiness to Learn) and X2 (Learning Motivation) to variable Y (Results learning) by 90% and the remaining 10% is determined by other factors not examined in this study. The multiple linear regression coefficient shows the constant value a = 11.726 b1 = 0.417 and b2 = 0.445. Testing the statistical hypothesis obtained by the results obtained F arithmetic > F table (401.052 > 3.100) shows that simultaneously Learning Readiness and Learning Motivation together affect Learning Outcomes. While the variable t test X1 t count = 16.106 > t table = 1.990. Shows that there is an effect of learning readiness on the learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMPN 1 Tarumajaya Bekasi. And the t-test of the X2 variable tcount = 17.617 > ttable = 1.990. Shows that there is an influence of learning motivation on the learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMPN 1 Tarumajaya Bekasi

Statistical data in most cases are described as an arithmetic mean value and a median depending on themselves, in the absence or presence of extreme values, respectively. Also, when using the classical hypothesis testing, errors of the type I (erroneous rejection of the null hypothesis of the absence of differences) and type II (erroneous acceptance of the null hypothesis) inevitably occur. Sometimes in the data, you can make the wrong choice when choosing the dependent and independent variable. The classical check does not give a complete picture of the data of the general population. Confidence intervals for a range of values for selection within a certain probability (95%). One of the modern methods for assessing the mean, mean and other measures is resampling, in particular, bootstrap (multiple generation of samples).

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of ROA, BOPO, and FDR on the profit sharing rate of mudharabah deposits at islamic commercial banks in Indonesia from 2016 to 2019. The population this study were all Islamic commercial banks that have been registered with Bank Indonesia. The population of this study were 11 Islamic banks and the total sample used was 4 banks. The analysis technique used by researchers is multiple linear regression. In this study, the hypothesis test used is the t-test to test the partial regression coefficient and the f-test to test significance simultaneously with a significance level of 5%. The results in this study indicate that ROA has a significant effect on the profit sharing rate of mudharabah deposits and ROA, BOPO, FDR simultaneously have a significant effect on the profit sharing rate of mudharabah deposits.

This study aims to identify and understand the influence of Systems and Control Budget Goal Clarity Accounting against Managerial Performance in Panin Securities Company. The population in this study were all employees of PT. Panin Securities, Tbk branch of Iskandar Muda, Medan. Hypothesis testing using descriptive analysis method, statistical analysis method which consists of a multiple linear regression analysis, significant simultaneous testing (Test F), partial significance testing (t test) and test the coefficient of determination (R2). Results of this study indicate that the independent variable, ie a variable budget goal clarity and accounting control systems and a significant positive effect on managerial performance at PT. This research aims to find out the influence of brand equity variables on oppo smartphone purchase decisions on the people of Bima City. This type of research is associative, the research instrument used is a likert-scale questionnaire. The population in this study is the entire community of Bima City who have bought Oppo smartphone products whose numbers are not known with certainty (unknowns population). The sample in this study was as many as 50 respondents using the unknown population formula, a sampling technique used that is purposive sampling. The data collection techniques used in this study are observations, questionnaires and library studies. The data analysis techniques used are validity test, reliabiity test, simple linear regression analysis, simple correlation coenphysien, determination coefficient and t test. Based on the results of analysis and hypothesis testing states that there is an influence of Brand Equity on Oppo Smartphone Purchase Decisions (case studies in the people of Bima City) with a moderate level of relationship intensity and a magnitude of influence of 30.8%.

Temporal changes in medical images are often evaluated along a parametrized function that represents a structure of interest (e.g. white matter tracts). By attributing samples along these functions with distributions of image properties in the local neighborhood, we create distribution-valued signatures for these functions. We propose a novel, comprehensive framework which models their temporal evolution trajectories. This is achieved under the unifying scheme of Wasserstein distance metric. The regression problem is formulated as a constrained optimization problem and solved using an alternating projection algorithm. The solution simultaneously preserves the functional characteristics of the curve, models the temporal change in distribution profiles and forces the estimated distributions to be valid. Hypothesis testing is applied in two ways using Wasserstein based test statistics. Validation is presented on synthetic data. Estimation of a population trajectory is shown using diffusion properties along DTI tracts from a healthy population of infants. Detection of delayed growth is shown using a case study.

The aim of this research is to get the influence of accounting knowledge and education level on business performance. The Population in this study were MSMEs in Pasar Rakyat Tani Bandar Lampung. The sample selected using purposive sampling and obtained as many as 135 respondents through a questionnaire. The data analysis method used was the Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS) program version 20. The instrument testing included validity and reliability tests. The prerequisite test includes a classic assumption test consisting of normality test, muticollinearity test and heteroscedasticity test as well as hypothesis testing consisting of partial test with t-test. The results of the research get accounting knowledge and the level of education has an effect on business performance. Accounting knowledge has a positive effect on business performance. This research is motivated by the low science scores of students at the school, so researchers want to conduct research to find out if there is an increase in student learning outcomes in science when using the animation-assisted inquiry learning model. This type of research is quasi-experimental, the research design used is Two Group Pre test-Post test Design, eighth and the research population is all grade students of SMP Swasta Parulian 1 Medan. The instrument used in the learning outcomes test was 20 multiple choice questions which were validated by 2 science teachers in junior high school. The research result shows the score average pre test of 37.80 in 40.00 in the experimental class and control class and score post test of 82.00 in 71.00 in the experimental class and control class. Each sample group has normal data and has been tested using the Lilliefors test using SPSS, with the calculation of the results pre test obtained that L significance > 0.05, namely (0.114 > 0.05) for the experimental class and (0.148 > 0.05) for the experimental class. control, and the results post test obtained that L significance > 0.05, namely (0.066 > 0.05) for the experimental class and (0.071 > 0.05) for the control class. Furthermore, the data for both samples have homogeneous variances and have been tested using the SPSS F test, with the calculation of the results pre test obtained that F significance > 0.05 (0.728 > 0.05), and the results post test obtained that F significance 0.05 ( 0.050 ≥ 0.05). The research hypothesis test was carried out using the t-test (one-sided test). From the calculation results, it is obtained that the t significance < 0.05 is (0.000 < 0.05). then the result of hypothesis Ha is accepted. Based on the results of the overall data analysis, the t significance of < t is (0.000 < 0.05) and simple regression analysis Y = a + bx is Y = 38.347 + 0.573X. Inquiry learning model assisted by animation media can improve student learning outcomes with a large effect of increasing learning outcomes 15.5% which has a correlation coefficient of r = 0.491 (medium positive correlation). In conclusion, science learning outcomes using an inquiry learning model assisted by animation media can increase student learning outcomes by 15.5%.

The research aims to analyze the application of e-modules in improving scientific literacy skills. This research employed the quasi-experimental with pretest-posttest control design group. The population of this study was eleventh-grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Anjatan which consisted of 15 classes, specifically seven science classes and eight social studies classes. The research sample was taken using random sampling. The researchers collected the research data using observations and tests. Furthermore, the data was analyzed using ANES software and SPSS v.25. The analyzed data were the prerequisite tests data and the t-test data. The results obtained from students' learning activities show the highest learning activities occurred at the data collection stage. There science literacy skills improvement between the control class and the experimental class was different. The experimental class' N-gain value was 0.30 and the control class' N-gain value was 0.2. Furthermore, the result of the sig statistical tests was 0.000, which was lower than 0.655. Therefore, Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. It can be concluded that there was an improvement difference between the experimental class and the control class regarding scientific literacy skills.

This study aims to determine the effect of work environment and organizational culture on employee performance at the Regional Finance Board of the West Sumatra Provincial Government. The variables used in this study are the dependent variable, namely employee performance (Y), and the independent variable consisting of work environment (X1) and organizational culture (X2). The types of data used in this research are qualitative data and quantitative data. Accumulated data used in this study were primary data from questionnaires and used a proportional random sampling technique. The data analysis technique used classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis and t test. The population in this study were all employees of the regional financial agency of the province of West Sumatra, the sample in this study was 72 employees or respondents. The research data were collected from the respondents' results and analyzed using linear regression and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that the work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a t-count value of (3,342 > 2,000) and organizational culture has a positive effect on employee performance, with a t-count value of (3,336 > 2,000).

In this paper, we propose new semiparametric procedures for making inference on linear functionals and their functions of two semicontinuous populations. The distribution of each population is usually characterized by a mixture of a discrete point mass at zero and a continuous skewed positive component, and hence such distribution is semicontinuous in the nature. To utilize the information from both populations, we model the positive components of the two mixture distributions via a semiparametric density ratio model. Under this model setup, we construct the maximum empirical likelihood estimators of the linear functionals and their functions, and establish the asymptotic normality of the proposed estimators. We show the proposed estimators of the linear functionals are more efficient than the fully nonparametric ones. The developed asymptotic results enable us to construct confidence regions and perform hypothesis tests for the linear functionals and their functions. We further apply these results to several important summary quantities such as the moments, the mean ratio, the coefficient of variation, and the generalized entropy class of inequality measures. This research aimed to observe the correlation of the three factors of exogenous variables towards work productivity. Research Methodology: Sampling in this study used Random Sampling Techniques by spreading questionnaires to PT Telkom Access - West Jakarta towards 100 people. It shows that the population of PT Telkom Access - West Jakarta are 984 people. The methodology used to collect data was with the distribution of questionnaires. The statistical test tool utilized was SmartPLS 3.0. Results: Based on the results, the study shows that Work from Home positively affects work productivity, the Digital Platform positively affects work productivity, and the Online Meeting Applications positively affects Work Productivity.

Purpose: This study aimed to provide empirical evidence regarding the effect of budget participation, financial compensation and non-financial compensation on the performance of employees of PT. Budi Berlian Motors in Lampung. Research methodology: The population in this study were all employees of PT. Budi Berlian Motors in Lampung, with a sample of 100 respondents. The methods of data analysis were multiple regression with the F test and T-test as a hypothesis test. Results: This study shows empirical evidence that budget participation does not have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, while financial compensation and non-financial compensation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Limitations: The results of the questionnaire are based on the respondents' responses to the questions in the questionnaire presented so that the answers generated may not necessarily correspond to actual conditions that occur in the company. Contribution: This study can provide information about the effect of budgetary participation, financial compensation and non-financial compensation on the performance of employees of PT. This study aims to analyze the effect of knowledge, lifestyle and religiosity on people's interest in saving at Islamic banks in Jambi City. The population in this study is the people of Jambi City. The sample size in this study refers to the theory proposed by (Hair et al., 2017) which recommends a minimum sample size of 5 times the number of question items, so that a sample of 90 is obtained. Quantitative analysis method using multiple linear regression equation analysis, continued with analysis of determination (R Square), partial hypothesis testing (t test) and simultaneously (F test) with an alpha of 5 percent (0.05). Prior to further analysis, the classical assumption test was carried out first. The analysis tool uses SPSS version 23.0 for windows. The results showed that knowledge, lifestyle and religiosity had a positive and significant effect on people's interest in saving at Islamic banks in Jambi City.

This study aimed to determine the effect of using a project-based learning model with a scientific approach to students' mathematics learning. This kind of examination with experimental methods is included in quantitative research. This research design is a quasi-experiment. Samples were taken from 2 classes, the population in this exam was all class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Ngrambe in the 2020/2021 school year. The method used in sampling is cluster random sampling. This study aimed at determining the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in empowering the creative thinking skills of elementary school students in Pagergunung Ulujami Pemalang in social studies (IPS) learning. The research population was all fifth graders of the elementary school in Pagergunung Ulujami, Pemalang Regency, the sample of this study was taken using quasi-experimental, while data collection technique used pre-test and post-test techniques on students' creative thinking abilities. Meanwhile, the statistical test analysis technique used the proportion test and the difference between the two proportions. The results showed a significance level of 5%. The conclusions of the study are: (1) PBL model is effective in the aspect of students' creative thinking abilities, but less effective in the aspect of problem-solving abilities in IPS learning, (2) PBL model is more effective than conventional learning in both students' creative thinking and problem-solving ability.

This research was conducted to find that authentic leadership and work environment influence partially and simultaneously on the performance of teacher at Junior High School in Bekasi. This study using a descriptive quantitative approach regression models. The population in this study was 306 teachers, and the sample was taken using the Slovin formula with an error rate of 5% so that there were 75 teachers. The instrument used was a questionnaire distributed via Google Form based on the Likert scale. At the same time, hypothesis testing is obtained based on the results of the t-test, F test and the coefficient of determination test. The results prove that there are several conclusions, namely: (1) authentic leadership has a positive effect on the performance of Junior High School teachers; (2) The work environment has a positive and significant effect on the performance of Junior High School teachers; (3) Authentic leadership and work environment simultaneously influence the performance of Junior High School teachers with the results of the test value of the coefficient of determination of 0.673 or 67.3%, meaning that authentic leadership and work environment have an influence on performance by 67.3% and the rest 32.7% is influenced by variables not studied.

This study discusses the analysis of the SAP acceptance rate at PT Pindodeli using the TAM approach. The purpose of this study was to determine the acceptance of the SAP system for Pindodeli employees and to determine the factors that affect the acceptance of the SAP system for PT Pindodeli employees. The method used in this research is the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The population in this study were 130 employees of PT Pindodeli from 6 Units / Sections, namely Finished Goods, IT, Financing, Logistics, Customer Service, and Purchasing. The sampling technique used by researchers is probability sampling and uses a descriptive approach. The total respondents who got were 61 out of 130 employees. Calculation of data carried out in this study is smart PLS. Hypothesis testing in this study was conducted to test the effect of system service usability and ease of use. The research results prove that usability has a positive and significant effect on SAP system acceptance and ease of use has a positive and significant effect on SAP system acceptance.

This study aims to determine the effect of the Think Pair Share (TPS) Model on student learning outcomes in class V civics subject content of SDN 09 Ampenan. This study uses the Ex Post Facto research method. The preparation of this thesis was carried out from June to July 2020. The population in this study consisted of 94 students. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with 32 students in class V.A. The data collection technique uses a survey method through questionnaire data collection method that has been carried out by expert testing and documentation. The data analysis method used hypothesis testing using the t test with the assistance of SPSS 201 for Window. With the prerequisite test for normality and homogeneity of data. The results of the analysis show that the learning implementation questionnaire data is categorized as good according to the score obtained, which is 80. For data on student learning outcomes it is said to be normal with the results of the analysis of .194 for the initial value (application of the conventional model) meanwhile for the application of the TPS model the significant value is 356. If interpreted, the value becomes 0.194 for the conventional model and 0.356 for the application of the Think Pair Share model. When compared with a significant level of 0.05. This study aimed to provide empirical evidence of the effect of smartphone-based Quizlet on students’ learning interest in Universitas PGRI Madiun, Indonesia. This study was pre-experimental with a one-shot case study that is a group that got help, and the results were observed next. The population were accounting education students in Universitas PGRI Madiun. 54 students received smartphone-based Quizlet assistance in learning activities. We used statistical testing to test comparisons formulated in research hypotheses using simple linear regression tests. The results proved empirically that the use of smartphone-based Quizlet affected the students' learning interest in Universitas PGRI Madiun, Indonesia. The menu provided in the Quizlet application could activate students in learning and give a positive effect to students. Students became active in learning activities, did assignments on time, and learnt independently. The Quizlet application can be used as material for educators to consider increasing student interest in learning social science.

This research used a quantitative approach. The population in this study were consumers who used Xiaomi smartphones. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a sample size of 112 people. The data collection method used a questionnaire. This research uses data quality test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that the brand image variable has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. The feature variable has no effect on purchasing decisions. Product quality variables have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. The variables of brand image, features, and product quality simultaneously affect purchasing decisions.

This study aims to determine the contribution of teacher work motivation to teacher professionalism, the principal's contribution to teacher professionalism, and the contribution of work motivation and the role of school principals to teacher professionalism. The population of the study was all civil servant teachers in SMA Negeri Salatiga with number of population 209 people and the sample are 131 people. The samples were chosen by using proportional random sampling technique. Data collection was done by distributing questionnaire and hypothesis testing with regression. The results showed, (1) there was a positive and significant contribution t of work motivation on teacher professionalism of 92.2%, (2)there was a positive and significant contribution of the role of the principal on the teacher professionalism of 90.2%, and (3) there was a positive and significant contribution of work motivation and the role of the principal on professionalism teachers at 93.1%. It is hoped that further research will find out other factors that contribute ot teacher professionalism.

The Cormack–Jolly–Seber (CJS) model and its extensions have been widely applied to the study of animal survival rates in open populations. The model assumes that individuals within the population of interest have independent fates. It is, however, highly unlikely that a pair of animals which have formed a long‐term pairing have dissociated fates.We examine a model extension which allows animals who have formed a pair‐bond to have correlated survival and recapture fates. Using the proposed extension to generate data, we conduct a simulation study exploring the impact that correlated fate data has on inference from the CJS model. We compute Monte Carlo estimates for the bias, range, and standard errors of the parameters of the CJS model for data with varying degrees of survival correlation between mates. Furthermore, we study the likelihood ratio test of sex effects within the CJS model by simulating densities of the deviance. Finally, we estimate the variance inflation factor c^ for CJS models that incorporate sex‐specific heterogeneity.Our study shows that correlated fates between mated animals may result in underestimated standard errors for parsimonious models, significantly deflated likelihood ratio test statistics, and underestimated values of c^ for models taking sex‐specific effects into account.Underestimated standard errors can result in lowered coverage of confidence intervals. Moreover, deflated test statistics will provide overly conservative test results. This study aims to determine the effect of effectiveness and trust in using the village financial system on village governments' performance in Maluku Province. This study's population is the village government apparatus consisting of the Village Head or Country, Village Secretary, village financial system users, amounting to 63 respondents; this study's sampling method is non-probability, namely purposive sampling. Primary data in this study include respondents' answers through questionnaires. The collected questionnaires using multiple correlations and regressions analysis, including descriptive statistics, reliability tests, validity tests, and classical assumptions, including multicollinearity tests and hypothesis testing and discussion. The F test analysis results show that the effectiveness and trust variables together have a positive and significant effect on the village government's performance. Based on empirical evidence with t-test or partial with multiple regression models, there is a positive and significant influence between the variables of effectiveness with the village government's performance and confidence in the village government's performance.
