In this paper, a fractional-order predator–prey mathematical model has been developed considering Holling type II functional response. Here, we have investigated the interaction dynamics of prey, middle predator and top predator. We assume that the middle predator consumes only the prey, and the top predator consumes only the middle predator. Here, the logistic growth of prey has been considered. Then, different possible equilibrium points of our proposed system are determined. The stability of our proposed system is investigated around the equilibrium points. Then, some numerical simulations results are presented for better understanding the dynamics of our proposed model. This paper presents a prey-predator harvesting model with time delay for bifurcation analysis. We consider the parameters of the proposed model with imprecise data as form of interval in nature, due to the lack of precise numerical information of the biological parameters such as prey population growth rate and predator population decay rate. The interaction between prey and predator is assumed to be governed by a Holling type II functional response and discrete type gestation delay of the predator for consumption of the prey under impreciseness of the biological parameters. Parametric functional form of interval number with two parameters is introduced. This study reveals that not only delay and harvesting effort play a significant role on the stability on the system but also interval parameters play a crucial role on the stability of the system. Computer simulations of numerical examples are given to explain our proposed imprecise model. We propose and study a nonautonomous harvesting Lotka-Volterra commensalism model incorporating partial closure for the populations. By using the differential inequality theory we obtain sufficient conditions that ensure the extinction, partial survival, and permanence of the system. By applying the fluctuation lemma we establish sufficient conditions that ensure the extinction of one of the components and the stability of the the other one. For the permanent case, by constructing a suitable Lyapunov function we obtain some sufficient conditions for the globally attractivity of the positive solution of the system. Examples, together with their numeric simulations, show the feasibility of the main results. To ensure the stable coexistence of the two species, the harvesting area should be carefully restricted. Biostimulators are substances able to enhance the immune system of cultivated crops and support plant metabolism. Their utilization helps to reduce the amount of chemicals used in agriculture. To perform the desired effect, a biostimulator must be able to penetrate into the plant tissue. The time of penetration however, is limited, since the biostimulator must remain in a liquid state. This is of great importance-especially in field conditions, where the treated plants are exposed to different weather condition and other extrinsic factors. A mathematical model based on diffusion mechanisms has been elaborated to describe the biostimulator transport process from penetration of the leaves into the plant's inner tissues. By means of the effective diffusion coefficient of the prepared specific protein hydrolyzate, this model can be used to estimate the time necessary for the uptake of the minimal active amount of the biostimulator. Harvesting of prey biomass is analyzed in an integrated ecological-economic system whose submodels, a predator–prey ecosystem and a simple economy, are microfounded dynamic general equilibrium models. These submodels are interdependent because the ecosystem responds to harvesting—through the reactions of optimizing individual organisms—by changing the provision of public ecosystem services to consumers. General analytical results are derived regarding the impact of harvesting policies on short-run equilibria of both submodels, on population dynamics, and on stationary states of the integrated model. A key insight is that prey biomass carries a positive ecosystem price which needs to be added as a tax mark-up to the economic price of harvested biomass to attain allocative efficiency. Further information on the dynamics is gained by resorting to numerical analysis of the policy regimes of zero harvesting, laissez-faire harvesting and efficient harvesting. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
