The article discusses the new technology for biomarker identification which allows high quality of recognizing bladder cancer from different urologic diseases in the U.S. The system was developed by researchers from the University of Virginia together with industry partners. It is engaged in bioinformatics tools and capillary-electrophoresis-couple mass spectrometry to identify polypeptide patterns in urine samples of patients with bladder cancer.
