Agricultural sustainable development is one of the themes of human and nature harmonious coexistence. Adjusting and optimizing agricultural structure are an important direction to improve the level of agricultural sustainable development. In this paper, related research status of the sustainable development of agriculture is analyzed; it shows that there is lack of scientific theories guidance for agricultural sustainable development. In order to optimize sustainable development of agriculture industry structure, the guidance theory of and its optimization are studied. Based on multiobjective optimization theory, several key factors that affect agricultural sustainable development and the main target indexes of agricultural sustainable development are analyzed, the mathematical model of the evaluation of the sustainable development of agriculture is established, and the solution to optimize the multiobjective model is studied. Finally, the agricultural industry sustainable development in a certain area is taken as the research object in this paper; the mathematical model and solving method of agricultural sustainable development evaluation are studied; it provides a guidance to optimize the regional agricultural industrial structure and improve the quality of agricultural sustainable development. The prerequisite for the reasonable construction and successful implementation of the financial sharing center of the agricultural enterprise group is that the agricultural enterprise group must fully understand the financial sharing center, understand the steps and key points of its construction, and comprehensively design and re-engineer the business process. This paper combines the big data technology to construct the financial sharing center system of agricultural enterprise groups, combines the machine learning algorithm to improve the big data processing algorithm, and builds the intelligent financial sharing platform with the support of the improved algorithm, and builds the overall system architecture and operation process. After constructing the system, the performance verification and practical verification of this system are carried out through experimental research. From the research results, it can be seen that the system constructed in this paper has good data processing effects and data sharing effects, and has good security, which meets the financial sharing needs of agricultural enterprise groups. The green development of the entire agricultural industry chain is not only an important way to enhance the competitiveness of agricultural products and promote the value-added of the agricultural industry but also an inevitable choice to improve the efficiency of resource utilization and ensure sustainable economic development from the perspective of the ecological environment. This paper defines the connotation and characteristics of the green development of the whole agricultural industry chain and deeply analyzes the development status, major challenges, and feasible paths of the whole agricultural industry chain in China. It has built a whole industry chain development model of "Internet + modern agriculture" and proposed a decentralized agricultural data management system based on the IoT to solve the problem of untraceable of traditional agricultural products and other data. The agricultural IoT system is designed with a unique blockchain double-chain structure, using the global hash chain and the mutual verification between the transaction chains in each partition. It proposes the PMCP protocol, which improves the performance of the system by producing blocks in parallel for several consensus groups in each consensus cycle. The experimental results show that the proposed model is queryable, traceable, and trustworthy for whole-life agricultural data, and the proposed model outperforms other schemes in terms of throughput and delay. Agricultural industrial clusters are the basis for the formation of regional brands of agricultural products and also an effective way to enhance the regional brand value and competitiveness of agricultural products. Based on the agricultural industry cluster, carry out regional brand building of agricultural products, emphasizing that the production of agricultural products from raw material bases to product sales in specific administrative areas, and even the collaborative production services of relevant agricultural technology research and development institutions are connected to the local network, establishing a regional first-class agricultural product brand. The brand grows with the development of regional production bases. Therefore, this paper is aimed at exploring the research on the promotion of green brand competitiveness of agricultural products based on the theory of agricultural industrial clusters, analyzing the internal connection between agricultural product agglomeration effect and brand competitiveness, and exploring its advantages and disadvantages. Using this strategy, this paper will use the research method of specific analysis of specific problems, design an analysis model construction experiment based on the influencing factors of agricultural industrial clusters, and draw experimental conclusions through the analysis and comparison of experimental data. Through theoretical innovation and exploration, a model for the rapid development of green agricultural product brands can be found. The results show that the use of questionnaires to explore the differences in the planting characteristics of green agricultural products in industrial clusters can account for 35% of the brand competitiveness, promote the rapid development of the brand, and enhance the technological innovation ability by 19%. Therefore, combined with the characteristics of the current era, with the help of the national agricultural aid policy, fully absorb the transformation, actively innovate, and improve the level of agricultural cultivation. Agricultural enterprises play a significant role in China's economic development. However, compared with other enterprises, agricultural enterprises are facing serious financial problems. Financing difficulty is essentially a question of financing efficiency. Based on the DEA method, this paper evaluates the financing efficiency of 39 agricultural listed companies in China from 2013 to 2017. The results suggest that the financing efficiency is generally low, and the Total Factor Productivity of agricultural enterprises' financing has a tendency to decrease first and then increase. The influencing factors of financing efficiency are analyzed using the Tobit regression model and the random forest regression model. And we find the following: (1) The random forest regression model significantly outperformed the Tobit regression model, with determination coefficients (R2) greater than 0.9 in full sample sets. (2) Total liability, financial expenses, return on total assets, and inventory turnover rate are important factors affecting financing efficiency of agricultural listed companies. (3) Return on total assets and inventory turnover rate promote the financing efficiency, while total liability and financial expenses reduce financing efficiency. Agricultural sustainability plays an important role in improving air, water, soil, and the general environment around the world. The concept of sustainability depends primarily on economic, environmental, and social aspects. These aspects vary by region and type of crop grown, and the environment in which it is grown, so they usually work together to standardize agricultural sustainability. Mining has widespread effects on agriculture especially in the Hemgir block of Odisha, India, which has serious implications for agricultural sustainability, especially for small and marginal farmers. Current research involves designing a structural equation model (SEM) to assess the relationships between indicators that measure agricultural sustainability in the Hemgir block. Primary data were collected from 112 paddy farmers in Hemgir block to assess environmental, social, and economic interactions. The study found that there was a significant and positive correlation between environmental and economic indicators. One of the important things to learn from this study is to help stakeholders and the agricultural sector to understand the interrelationships between specific indicators. Starting from the economic development of the national agricultural product industry, it uses the cluster analysis algorithm to analyze the current overall economic situation of the agricultural product industry and points out the current problems in the industry. The product industry is facing greater pressure for transformation and upgrading. With the continuous development of my country's economy and society, how to effectively evaluate the technical innovation performance of agricultural enterprises has become the focus of research. This paper firstly processes and analyzes the technical innovation performance data of agricultural enterprises, and then processes and converts the technical innovation performance data of agricultural enterprises; then, through the analysis of the technical innovation performance data of agricultural enterprises, the key characteristics of the technical innovation performance of agricultural enterprises are excavated. Today, the development of intelligent sensors provides platform support for the digitalization of agricultural enterprises. This article is aimed at introducing the application of intelligent sensors in agriculture to provide strategic research for the digital development of agricultural planting and breeding enterprises. This paper proposes the establishment of a system platform for network intelligent sensors and proposes the establishment of an agricultural short message management publishing platform. And the existing public information transmission methods are used to provide a cheap, simple, and fast way for agricultural producers to quickly obtain agricultural information, so as to provide a feasible plan for solving the agricultural "last mile of agriculture" problem. After inspection and analysis, the information management release platform can meet the design requirements, and the processing rate of short-term interest is above 98%, which can pave the way for the digital industrialization of agricultural enterprises. Encouraging the adoption and diffusion of low-carbon agricultural technology innovation is an important measure to cope with climate change, reduce environmental pollution, and achieve sustainable agricultural development. Based on evolutionary game theory, this paper establishes a game model among agricultural enterprises, government, and farmers and analyzes the dynamic evolutionary process and evolutionary stable strategies of the major stakeholders. The impact of innovation subsidies, carbon taxes, and adoption subsidies on low-carbon agricultural innovation diffusion is simulated using Matlab software. The results show that the government's reasonable subsidies and carbon taxes for agricultural enterprises and farmers can increase the enthusiasm of agricultural enterprises and farmers to participate in low-carbon agriculture. The growing research interest in the pro-poorness of growth is the main issue today. Reducing economic poverty and inequality through pro-poor growth is the aim of policies in many countries. Pro-poor growth is good for poverty eradication if it can be achieved. Ethiopia is a good example of a country where growth was pro-poor between 1990 and 2018 but the pro-poor growth was reversed in 2016. The paper examined what led to pro-poor growth between 1990 and 2018 and what may have been responsible for the reversal in 2016. Unit root test reveals that all the series are nonstationary at level and stationary at first difference and have one cointegration relation between the variables. The dynamic ordinary least squares method was used to analyze the Ethiopian time series data from World Bank Development Indicators between 1990 and 2018 for the determinant of pro-poor growth. Regression analysis shows that job creation was responsible for the pro-poor growth between 1990 and 2018. The results of the analysis showed that human capital, industrial, and services growth have negative impacts on poorest people, whereas employment and agriculture growth have positive impacts on poorest people. With the objective of exploring the potential of bioethanol production from lignocellulosic wastes from major agro-based industries in Nepal, four types of major industries using raw materials from agriculture are selected as sources of lignocellulosic residues. They include a sugar industry, a paper industry, a tobacco industry, and a beer industry. Data from secondary/primary sources were used to record organic residues from these industries and estimates were made of potential production of bioethanol from them. About 494892.263 tons of dry bagasse could be produced if the total production of sugarcane in Nepal is taken to the sugar industry which means that about 138569.833 KL of bioethanol could be produced (in the year 2011/12). Similarly, the dry biomass residue produced from the paper mill is 86.668 ton/year that could produce 24.267 KL of bioethanol. The lignocellulosic residue from tobacco field in Nepal is approximately 18.826 ton/year that has potential to produce 5.836 KL of bioethanol. The dry biomass residue produced in beer industry amounts to 155.0596 ton/year that can yield about 63.5744 KL of bioethanol. It is estimated that about 57,841.3754 KL of bioethanol could be produced when these residues are fully utilized in producing bioethanol. If E10 is used in total import of petrol, about 20246.7 KL of bioethanol could be utilized, and the rest 37,594.6754 KL of bioethanol could be utilized for many other purposes. The paper deals with weather derivatives as the potentially effective risk management tool for agricultural enterprises seeking to mitigate their income exposure to variations in weather conditions. Design and valuation of the weather derivatives is an interdisciplinary approach covering agrometeorology, statistics, mathematical modeling, and financial and risk management. This paper first offers an overview of data sources and then methods of design and valuation of weather derivatives at the regional level. The accompanied case study focuses on cultivation of cereals (wheat and barley) in the Czech Republic. However, its generalizability is straightforward. The analysis of key growing phases of cereals is based on regression analysis using weather indices as the independent variables and crop yields as dependent variables. With the bootstrap tool, the burn analysis is considered as useful tool for estimating uncertainty about the payoff, option price, and statistics of probability distribution of revenues. The results show that the spatial and production basis risks reduce the efficiency of the weather derivatives. Finally, the potential for expansion of weather derivatives remains in the low income countries of Africa and Asia with systemic weather risk. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Due to the constraints of traditional agricultural development factors, the existing agricultural industrial chain structure was unreasonable, which can not only promote the development of related industries but also affect the sustainable development of the whole agriculture. Therefore, it was of great significance to build a scientific and orderly ecological agriculture industry chain system and optimize it on the existing basis for improving the industrial benefits of modern agriculture and enhancing the vitality of agricultural development. From the perspective of the construction of an ecological agriculture industry chain system, this study put forward the development and evaluation system of the agricultural industry chain system based on genetic algorithm, in order to provide support for better promoting the development of modern agriculture. First, based on summarizing the related concepts of ecological agriculture and industrial structure, the definition and organization of agricultural industrial chain were given. Second, it expounded the basic theory of genetic algorithm and its application in the optimization of agricultural industrial structure, and put forward the optimization model of ecological agricultural industrial structure combined with the objectives of agricultural industry development. Finally, by constructing the evaluation index system of ecological agriculture industry chain system, a comprehensive evaluation model of ecological agriculture industry chain system based on genetic algorithm was designed. Through the case verification and comparative analysis, the results showed that the ecological agriculture industry chain system evaluation system and evaluation model based on genetic algorithm proposed in this study had certain feasibility and effectiveness, and can better evaluate the changing trend of various industries in the process of agricultural industry development. Nanotechnology is an emerging technology in the field of food and agriculture; every individual molecule and atom can be modified or controlled by this technology. Everything that exists on the earth is made up of atoms and molecules. Problems in all the fields can easily be overcome by modifying or altering their nanosize. Similarly, nanotechnology could address many issues in the agriculture and food industries. Nanomaterials play a keen role in the place of pesticides, fertilizers, and biosensors. Nutrition enhancement, safe delivery of bioactive components and micronutrients, and food preservations were facilitated by the applications of nanotechnologies. Efforts have to be taken to create awareness among the public in this nanotechnology field. Future research directions were identified in this review to improve the nanoembedded agriculture system. This article reviews the recent development in the agriculture and food industries through nanotechnology, application of nanotechnology in the food and agricultural sectors, and research backlogs in such sectors. There is a necessity for analysis of a large amount of data in many fields such as healthcare, business, industries, and agriculture. Therefore, the need of the feature selection (FS) technique for the researchers is quite evident in many fields of science, especially in computer science. Furthermore, an effective FS technique that is best suited to a particular learning algorithm is of great help for the researchers. Hence, this paper proposes a hybrid feature selection (HFS) based efficient disease diagnostic model for Breast Cancer, Hepatitis, and Diabetes. A HFS is an efficient method that combines the positive aspects of both Filter and Wrapper FS approaches. The proposed model adopts weighted least squares twin support vector machine (WLSTSVM) as a classification approach, sequential forward selection (SFS) as a search strategy, and correlation feature selection (CFS) to evaluate the importance of each feature. This model not only selects relevant feature subset but also efficiently deals with the data imbalance problem. The effectiveness of the HFS based WLSTSVM approach is examined on three well-known disease datasets taken from UCI repository with the help of predictive accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, and geometric mean. This paper discusses the issue of regional convergence in Greece during the period 1995-2005. Following the theoretical concept of Barro and Salla-i-Martin, 1990 (ß- and c-convergence concepts), several tests are conducted to test for conditional or unconditional convergence across Greek regions including GMM estimation of Barro regressions. The results indicate absence of convergence across NUTS II regions while there is evidence of convergence at prefectural level (NUTS III). The effect of agriculture industry and services sector is examined and services are found to have significant impact on growth and convergence. China is a large developing country, and there is no doubt that it is a large developing agricultural country. Agriculture has played a vital role in the development of the national economy since ancient times, and it serves as the foundation of China's national economy. As agricultural modernization is the fundamental way of agricultural development, its source of funds must come from rural finance. The financial support of rural finance for agricultural modernization is the material basis and prerequisite for ensuring the healthy and rapid development of agricultural modernization. If there is no financial support from rural finance, the process of agricultural modernization will be hindered, and it will not benefit our country's socialist modernization. Although our country's rural financial system has been constantly changing and improving, our country's current financial system still has many shortcomings and defects. In the process of supporting agriculture, rural finance has insufficient capital supply, which has become a "bottleneck" in the development of agricultural modernization, and to a certain extent has severely restricted the development of agricultural modernization. On the basis of existing literature research, this article systematically studies the influence of rural financial market structure on the development of agricultural enterprises in central China. The content includes agricultural total factor productivity and agricultural emission reduction. When analyzing the impact of rural financial market structure on agricultural development, this article also pays attention to its specific impact on agricultural development under the conditions of different types of enterprises. Even though agriculture has ample potential to absorb a large number of people, youths tend to stand away from the subsector. As a result, rural job creation works were started in southern Ethiopia by participating youth in different agricultural enterprises in the form of groups and cooperatives. However, as compared to sector potential, youths are not participating in agricultural job creation works in Ethiopia. Therefore, this study was intended to assess factors affecting youth participation in agricultural enterprises in selected districts of Southern Ethiopia. A multistage sampling procedure was followed to select 160 sample youths. The collected data from sampled youths were analyzed by both descriptive statistics and a probit econometric model. Among the agricultural enterprises, the majority of the youths (63.3%) preferred livestock enterprises indicating livestock sector job creation capacity in Ethiopia. The seasonal nature of agricultural income, fear of agricultural risk, and lack of initial capital were the top three factors hindering youth participation in the agricultural enterprise as rural job creation works. The probit model result shows that, among the hypothesized variables, education level, credit getting bureaucracy, lack of initial capital, fear of the group, risk and uncertainty, and lack of working place determine significantly youth participation in agriculture enterprises. Hence, respective bodies must group youths based on their preferred interest and evaluate their business plan critical before credit disbursement, while solving credit providing terms problems on the microfinance side and the introduction of agricultural insurance through these youth agricultural enterprises for agricultural risk fear needs stakeholders' interventions. The study aimed to develop energy flow diagram (Sankey diagram) of Sudan for the base year 2014. The developed Sankey diagram is the first of its kind in Sudan. The available energy balance for the base year 2012 is a simple line draw and did not count the energy supply by private and mixed sectors such as sugar and oil industries and marine and civil aviation. The private and mixed sectors account for about 7% of the national grid electric power. Four energy modules are developed: resources, transformation, demand, and export and import modules. The data are obtained from relevant Sudanese ministries and directorates and Sudan Central Bank. “e!Sankey 4 pro” software is used to develop the Sankey diagram. The main primary types of energy in Sudan are oil, hydro, biomass, and renewable energy. Sudan has a surplus of gasoline, petroleum coke, and biomass and deficit in electric power, gasoil, jet oil, and LPG. The surplus of gasoline is exported; however, the petroleum coke is kept as reserve. The deficit is covered by import. The overall useful energy is 76% and the loss is 24%. The useful energy is distributed among residential (38%), transportation (33%), industry (12%), services (16%), and agriculture (1%) sectors. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study evaluates the economic consequences of a Rift Valley Fever outbreak, a virus that spreads from livestock to humans, often through mosquitoes. Developing a 'one health' economic framework, economic impacts on agricultural producers and consumers, government costs of response, costs and disruptions to non-agricultural activities in the epidemiologically impacted region, and human health costs (morbidity and mortality) are estimated. We find the agricultural firms bear most of the negative economic impacts, followed by regional non-agricultural firms, human health and government. This study deals with evaluating the energy and exergy utilization efficiencies in the Turkish agricultural sector over a 12-year period from 1990 to 2001. In the energy and exergy analyses, two main energy sources, namely fuels and electricity, are taken into consideration, while the sectoral energy and exergy efficiencies are compared for this period. These main energy sources include diesel for tractors and other vehicles, and electricity for pumps. Overall energy utilization efficiencies are obtained to vary between 29.1 and 41.1%, while overall exergy utilization efficiencies are found to range from 27.9 to 37.4% in the analysed years, respectively. It may be concluded that the present technique proposed here may be used as a useful tool in analysing and evaluating the energy and exergy utilization efficiencies, identifying energy efficiency and/or energy conservation opportunities and dictating the energy strategies of countries.
