Abstract

The article analyzes factors that offer contribution to the limited inclusion of evidence-based assessment and treatment practices (EBPs) for attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in pediatric primary care. One group level barrier to the execution of EBPs for ADHD is disparities in the work cultures of researchers and clinicians. Another group level barrier is pediatricians' limited mental health knowledge. Facilitators to the implementation of EBPs include collaboration between mental health clinicians and pediatricians.
