The Institute of Teacher Education and Development (INTED) was founded in Accra, Ghana, in 2011, thanks to a fellowship from Stanford University. The institute is a nongovernmental organization whose objective is to improve learner outcomes by supporting the professional growth of educators. At the center of INTED's model is a professional learning initiative for teacher leaders called the Master Fellows Program. The Masters Fellow Program builds the capacity of teachers to become instructional leaders who support professional learning communities, engage other educators in the institute's professional learning activities, share their experiences at conferences and community events, and act as mentors and champions of teachers. Looking into the future, INTED is seeking to expand offerings to include online learning opportunities to ensure that greater numbers of teachers and schools can access its programs at lower costs and improved convenience.

One considers a group S of subjects and one uses the measured values of EEG waves and the levels of anxiety given by the psychologists for the members of S in order to construct a monotone measure µ. This measure µ is such that the levels of anxiety of the members of S are Choquet integrals with respect to µ. One infers that this is true for any other subject. This inference is validated by comparing the values obtained via the above mentioned method with the results given by the psychologists for another group of subjects S’. We think that this procedure is completely new for the computation of the anxiety degree.

OBJECTIVE: This study aimed to determine the influence of cookies made from (Musa acuminata cavendish and Cucumis sativus) and self-talk to reduce urine protein levels and blood pressure in women of childbearing age before hypertension. METHODOLOGY: The study was quasi-experimental, using pretests and post-tests from September to November 2023. Random sampling was done using the Slovin formula. Samples were divided into four groups; each group consisted of 30 people. The total sample consisted of 120 people. Data collection instruments included questionnaires, booklets, and cookies. Data were analyzed using SPSS Software with an independent t-test and ANOVA. RESULTS: There were differences in urine protein levels between the initial and final measurements. In group one, five respondents had positive urine protein, while 24 had negative urine protein. In group two, four patients had positive urine protein levels, and all of them were negative. In group three, 2 had positive proteins, and 28 had negative proteins. In group four, 2 had positive proteins, and 28 had negative proteins. A p-value of 0.000 indicates the influence of Musa acuminata Cavendish and Cucumis sativus cookies and the self-talk module on protein levels. CONCLUSION: Musa acuminata Cavendish and Cucumis sativus cookies and the Self Talk booklet for prehypertensive mothers in Kendari City for 12 weeks can effectively reduce blood pressure and urine protein levels.

Abstract Background In oncology, the suffering of patients and the burnout of health professionals are key issues. Mindfulness meditation is a holistic approach that can help to improve well-being. While numerous studies have shown the benefits of meditation for both patients and health professionals, the added value of offering shared meditation to groups of patients, health professionals and third persons has not been assessed. Beyond strengthening the relationship between carers and patients, opening up meditation sessions to third parties (neither carers nor patients) enables patients to escape the stigma of their illness. We previously conducted a pilot study that validated the feasibility and the relevance of shared meditation with a specifically designed programme. Methods/Design IMPLIC-2 is a two-arm randomised study designed to assess the added value of this meditation programme (optimised following the pilot study), particularly for cancer patients (our target population). People motivated to follow the programme, without previous regular practice of meditation and able to participate in the sessions are eligible. The study will include 96 participants: 16 health professionals, 16 third persons and 64 patients. The latter will be randomized in two arms: the experimental arm (“Shared” meditation) consisting of 4 mixed groups of 8 patients, 4 health professionals and 4 third parties, and the control arm (“Patient” meditation) consisting of 2 groups of 16 patients. Validated questionnaires will be used to measure the effects of the programme, notably in terms of quality of life, perceived stress, feelings of self-efficacy, qualities of mindfulness and self-compassion, and carers’ burn-out. Participants' perception of a change in their quality of life and satisfaction will be measured at the end of the programme. A complementary qualitative focus-group approach will be used to optimise implementation of the programme beyond the study. Discussion The well-being of oncology patients would be improved. Dealing with overworked carers would have a beneficial impact on the way they interact with patients. In addition, encounters between the three types of population will allow otherness to be viewed differently and alleviate suffering by promoting collective humanity. Controlled/slow-release fertilizers (CSRF) continue to be developed because of the need to increase agricultural productivity and reduce the economic, social, and environmental impacts of conventional fertilizers leaching into nature. Additionally, the use of biodegradable polymers as CSRF materials continues to be a priority in CSRF development. Therefore, this review synthesizes the current research on lignin- and polysaccharide-based CSRFs and emphasize their compatibility and performance in agricultural applications. Lignin, an abundant and renewable biopolymer, was evaluated for its effectiveness as a slow-release agent in CSRF. Studies have demonstrated the potential of lignin to improve nutrient release profiles and environmental sustainability when used alone or in combination with other polymers. Polysaccharides, which are known for their biocompatibility and biodegradability, have also been explored. The incorporation of lignin into polysaccharide-based CSRFs has been highlighted, particularly in starch, cellulose, chitosan, and sodium alginate matrices. These composites offer improved mechanical properties, controlled nutrient release, and enhanced soil water retention. The challenges and future directions regarding lignin- and polysaccharide-based CSRF are also reviewed. These findings underscore the importance of developing sustainable fertilizer technologies to meet future food demands while mitigating environmental impacts.

This study was conducted to examine the implementation of online learning in distance education utilizing the Community of Inquiry (CoI) framework, as introduced by Garrison. The CoI framework consists of three core elements essential in implementing online learning: social presence, cognitive presence, and teaching presence. These components are crucial for the success of online learning modalities. This is due to the nature of online learning, where instructors and learners are not present at the exact location or time, necessitating a 'binding element' in the educational process to ensure effective management of learning activities. Consequently, this research involved distributing questionnaires to 317 participants enrolled in online courses at Universitas Terbuka Indonesia. The results obtained from this study were classified as high, indicating that all three CoI elements achieved high ratings. Specifically, the aspect of cognitive presence was dominated by resolution capabilities. In social presence, the open communication capacity scored higher than the affective and cohesive components. Meanwhile, facilitating discourse was rated higher in the teaching presence domain than instructional design, organization, and direct instruction. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that learning across these three aspects is considerably high in the students' online learning experiences. Abstrak Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pembelajaran daring pada pembelajaran jarak jauh melalui pendekatan Community of Inquiry (CoI) framework yang diperkenalkan oleh Garrison. CoI memiliki tiga unsur yang menjadi perhatian dalam implementasi pembelajaran daring, yaitu social presence, cognitive presence, dan teaching presence. Ketiga unsur ini menjadi komponen penting dalam keberhasilan pembelajaran yang bersifat daring. Mengapa demikian? Karena pembelajaran daring adalah pembelajaran dimana antara pengajar dan peserta tidak berada pada tempat dan waktu yang bersamaan. Sehingga jika tidak ada “pengikat” dalam proses pembelajaran tersebut akan sulit untuk mengontrol pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, pada penelitian ini dilakukan penyebaran kuesioner kepada 317 peserta yang mengikuti perkuliahan pembelajaran daring di Universitas Terbuka Indonesia. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini dalam kategori tinggi. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa dari ketiga unsur CoI berada pada kategori tinggi, sspek cognitive presence didominasi oleh kemampuan resolution. Pada aspek social presence kemampuan open communication tinggi dibandingkan affective dan cohesive. Sedangkan pada aspek teaching presence facilitating discourse memiliki nilai lebih tinggi dibandingkan instructional design and organization dan direct instruction. Berdasarkan data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa kehadiran pembelajaran dari ketiga aspek tersebut cukup tinggi dalam pembelajaran daring yang dialami oleh siswa. This paper examines the potential of nighttime light (NTL) data as an alternative data source to predict the number of money laundering events. The study is based on the assumption that money laundering as one of financial crime categories is linked to economic development, and previous research has explored the relationship between NTL and both economic data and crime. Panel regression analysis with random effects was used to investigate the potential of NTL data to estimate money laundering activity, which was measured using Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) data as a proxy variable. The results suggest that NTL data can be a promising tool for estimating money laundering activity, providing new insights into the use of alternative data sources in predicting this illegal activity. The findings of this research could also contribute to the development of more effective anti-money laundering strategies by law enforcement and policymakers.

Abstract Background One of the downsides of percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) is stent failure which could be related to stent underexpansion. Hence, PCI based on an accurate coronary artery size obtained from intracoronary imaging is tremendously important. Until now, there is no data about all coronary artery dimensions in the Southeast Asian population performed by intravascular ultrasound (IVUS). The coronary artery size of 153 patients with chronic coronary syndrome (CCS) in acute or chronic settings who underwent percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) with IVUS was examined. The mean artery size and its predictors were analyzed. Results There were 153 patients with 633 coronary artery segments: the mean left main (LM) external elastic membrane (EEM) diameter and cross-sectional area (CSA) were 5.02 ± 0.43 mm and 19.93 ± 3.48 mm2, proximal left anterior descending artery (LAD) 4.25 ± 0.42 mm and 14.34 ± 2.85 mm2, the mid-LAD 3.86 ± 0.39 mm and 11.70 ± 2.24 mm2, the distal LAD 3.32 (2.83–4.30) mm and 8.77(6.23–14.99) mm2, the proximal left circumflex artery (LCX) 3.91 ± 0.42 mm and 12.07 ± 2.53 mm2, the distal LCX 3.51 ± 0.47 mm and 9.90 (5.09–14.20) mm2, the proximal right coronary artery (RCA) 4.50 ± 0.48 mm and 16.14 ± 3.43 mm2, the mid-RCA 4.16 ± 0.420 mm and 13.74 ± 2.72 mm2, the distal RCA 3.81 ± 0.41 mm and 11.59 ± 2.46 mm2, respectively. Body surface area (BSA) is an independent predictor for the majority of epicardial coronary arteries with a positive linear relationship. Conclusions The mean artery size of the Indonesian population was comparable with previous studies. The knowledge of coronary artery size will help the clinician to have a reference for intervention, especially when no intravascular imaging is available.

This service activity aims to improve women's life skills in processing the potential of the village, namely watermelon into an agribusiness product that has a high economic selling value. The method of implementing this service uses training with target partners, namely housewives, and women of productive age in Gapura village, Central Lombok Regency, NTB. The results of this service show that this activity could improve the ability and skills of the people of Gapura Village to process watermelon into products with more selling value, namely watermelon peel and jelly candy. In addition, this activity could increase the knowledge of Gapura Village women to process agricultural products based on agribusiness. Based on the results of the evaluation, most of the partners responded that this training was very useful in improving life skills by obtaining a percentage of 55%.

The implementation of a management system has increasingly become a necessity for organizations, one of the main purposes being to establish actions to achieve quality objectives. Currently there are many management systems but for a manufacturer of welded structures, in addition to the quality management system according to EN ISO 9001:2015 it is recommended to implement EN ISO 3834-2:2021 “Quality requirements for fusion welding of metallic materials. Part 2: Comprehensive quality requirements” The paper presents applied research on the assessment of the management system of a welded structure manufacturing organisation by conducting two internal audits at 7-month intervals as well as the analysis of the evolution of the management system after the implementation of corrective measures established after the first audit performed.

Songs, regarded as a form of musical expression, consistently mirror societal culture. This research aims to unveil and analyze the song tegalan, which serves as a portrayal of Tegal’s cultural identity. The research employs a qualitative descriptive methodology. Data collection for this study involved scrutinizing tegalan songs, particularly their lyrical content, with the purpose of comprehending the themes depicting the unique identity of the Tegal community. In addition to observation, the researcher conducted in-depth interviews with three notable tegalan song artists. A literature review was also undertaken to corroborate the research findings. The collected data was then distilled to extract information pertinent to the research theme, which was subsequently presented based on the interpretation of Tegal’s cultural identity and then conclusively analyzed. The research findings indicate that within the lyrics of tegalan songs, four cultural identities are discernible: (1) the utilization of colloquial Javanese infused with the “ngapak” dialect; (2) the characteristic of spontaneous and sincere communication reflective of the Tegal community’s culture; (3) the identity of coastal communities, which tend to exhibit straightforwardness; and (4) the diverse range of typical Tegal delicacies such as “sega ponggol”, tea with palm sugar (“teh poci gula batu”), among others. Based on these findings, it can be inferred that tegalan songs, in terms of their lyrical content, epitomize the linguistic culture of the Tegal community in both structure and communicative patterns. Background Sustainable supply chains are more competitive than conventional supply chains. Supply chain sustainability performance needs to be carried out to determine sustainability under current conditions and to design appropriate strategies to increase sustainability. This study aims to design a sustainability performance assessment model for the sago agro-industry supply chain and identify critical indicators for sustainability improvement. Methods The Fuzzy Inference System (FIS) evaluates sustainability on three levels: economic, social, and environmental. The Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) is then used to aggregate the overall sustainability performance. The cosine amplitude method (CAM) was used to analyze key indicators. This study assessed the sustainability performance on industrial- and small-medium-scale sago agro-industry. Results The results show that the supply chain sustainability performance on the industrial scale is 44.25, while it is 48.81 for the small-medium scale with the same status, almost sustainable. Key indicators for improving sago agro-industry supply chain sustainability performance include profit distribution among supply chain actors, institutional support for supply chains, waste utilization (reuse & recycle), and the availability of waste management facilities. The implication of this research for managers regards assessing the current status of sustainability performance and key indicators as a reference for formulating sustainability strategies and practices. Implication The sago agro-industry sustainability performance evaluation methodology uses industry-relevant metrics to assess supply chain sustainability, promoting collaboration among stakeholders and assisting in the creation of sustainable strategies. Conclusions The results of the study will enable supply chain actors to understand the key indicators for improving sustainability performance in the sago agro-industry supply chain, especially in Meranti Islands Regency, Riau Province. The proposed model can be applied to other agro-industries by adjusting the indicators used and assessing data availability and suitability for the research object.

Islamic moderation is highly vital in any field of life especially in higher educational context. In the context of this study, the researcher employed phenomenological study by the aim to investigate policy made by policy makers in two public universities in Balikpapan and Samarinda regarding the mainstreaming Islamic moderation in their universities by using in-depth interview. Additionally, the implementation of Islamic moderation was also explored especially on the steps of planning, implementing, and evaluating the teaching and learning process of Islamic Religious Education course or what so called by Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) course by utilizing direct observation, field-notes, and added by document analysis. Finally, in-depth interview was conducted to highlight the challenges faced by the PAI lecturers in mainstreaming Islamic moderation in Islamic Religious course. As a result, Islamic moderation was reflected in the policy made by the policy makers at both public universities in terms of hidden curriculum. Moreover, Islamic moderation values was also revealed in every aspect of teaching and learning of Islamic Religious course including planning, implementing, and evaluating. Lastly, the Islamic Religious lecturers encountered eight barriers when implementing Islamic moderation during PAI course. Novelty and pedagogical implications were also emphasized in this research.

Education is a critical area in promoting gender equality to the young generation of this country. The curriculum that promotes gender equality could be represented in a textbook as a teaching material resource commonly used in Indonesia. This study is a critical discourse analysis that examines the gender representation in the English textbook for the third grade of primary school in order to discover whether or not the textbook promotes gender equality. The data were collected from "Grow With English" English book 3 published by Erlangga Publisher. The data in the forms of pictures, words, phrases, and sentences were then analyzed qualitatively by using Fairclough's three dimensional frameworks and Halliday's Systemic Functional Linguistics. The findings revealed that: the examined textbook represents genders equally in terms of the quantity in which females and males are portrayed equally in pictorial representation and names of characters. In terms of social roles of job positions, male and female are also portrayed occupying various professional occupations such as doctors, fire fighters, police officers, and so on. However, the portrayals of male and female in domestic roles and activities are still stereotypical in which females are portrayed doing more domestic activities and less active, while males are portrayed doing more active outdoor activities. These results may have the implication that the English teachers for young learners could improvise by providing more understanding about gender equality while using the textbook.

This paper investigates key sectors that can drive sustainable development. Generally, obtaining sustainable development in identifying key sectors for development based on their output multiplier and CO2 emission elasticity. However, one aspect that forgotten is social inclusivity. The present paper has identified seven key sectors with high output multipliers, low CO2 emissions, and try to simulate the potential impact on income distribution. By simulating investment shocks in these sectors, the present authors try to assess their impact on inclusivity, emphasizing the importance of balancing economic growth, environmental protection, and income distribution that meaning social justice within the sustainable development framework. While prioritizing green economy sectors as key drivers can be beneficial, however, there is potential negative impacts on income distribution. Hence, it is recommended that the policy drives green economy sectors by promoting sustainable growth, resource use efficiency, and social inclusivity. This aligns with the core principles of a green economy, ensuring a future that is prosperous, equitable, and environmentally sound.

Literacy entrepreneurship is a field of entrepreneurship that focuses on developing language and literature-based products and services to strengthen literacy culture in society. The role of higher education is very important in fostering the entrepreneurial spirit of literacy. Research shows that many students still face challenges in developing literacy-based businesses, such as a lack of knowledge about business management, unsupportive attitudes, and inadequate practical skills. Therefore, it is important to explore the level of entrepreneurial literacy knowledge, attitudes and skills among college students in order to design effective educational programs. Entrepreneurship education in higher education does not only focus on opening a business, but also on forming character, mindset and entrepreneurial behavior. This research aims to fill this gap by analyzing the level of knowledge, attitudes and literacy entrepreneurial skills of students, as well as providing recommendations for developing a more effective and comprehensive literacy entrepreneurship education curriculum. It is hoped that the research results can be used by higher education institutions to design programs that are more suited to student needs and support the development of literacy entrepreneurship education programs

Bogor is a city in Indonesia that has a variety of potential scientific tourism objects, such as historical buildings, educational institutions, and research institutions. Although its existence is always needed by various parties as a reference for learning, the object has not been managed optimally in a system that is integrated, so it does not have a significant impact on tourism activities in Bogor City. This research aims to analyze what variables influence tourism planning and the pattern of relationships between actors to build a sustainability strategy for scientific tourism in Bogor City. This research was conducted using the Micmac and Mactor methods. The results showed six important variables to develop sustainable scientific tourism in Bogor City, i.e. infrastructure, tourism resources, promotion, investment, regulation, and policy, then research and education institutions. Meanwhile, the Government, the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, the Ministry of Agriculture, and the Regional Council are important institutions/actors in the development of sustainable scientific tourism. This research has provided an overview of the key variables and actor roles that are most influential on the success of this tourism development in the future and provides a basis for policymakers to make it a priority to develop a scientific tourism development strategy in Bogor City.
