The durability and quality of software contributions are critical factors in the long-term maintainability of a codebase. This paper introduces the Time to Modification (TTM) Theory, a novel approach for quantifying code quality by measuring the time interval between a code segment's introduction and its first modification. TTM serves as a proxy for code durability, with longer intervals suggesting higher-quality, more stable contributions. This work builds on previous research, including the "Time-Delta Method for Measuring Software Development Contribution Rates" dissertation, from which it heavily borrows concepts and methodologies. By leveraging version control systems such as Git, TTM provides granular insights into the temporal stability of code at various levels ranging from individual lines to entire repositories. TTM Theory contributes to the software engineering field by offering a dynamic metric that captures the evolution of a codebase over time, complementing traditional metrics like code churn and cyclomatic complexity. This metric is particularly useful for predicting maintenance needs, optimizing developer performance assessments, and improving the sustainability of software systems. We propose multiple techniques for automatic document order generation for (1) curriculum development and for (2) creation of optimal reading order for use in learning, training, and other content-sequencing applications. Such techniques could potentially be used to improve comprehension, identify areas that need expounding, generate curricula, and improve search engine results. We advance two main techniques: The first uses document similarities through various methods. The second uses entropy against the backdrop of topics generated through Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA). In addition, we try the same methods on the summarized documents and compare them against the results obtained using the complete documents. Our results showed that while the document orders for our control document sets (biographies, novels, and Wikipedia articles) could not be predicted using our methods, our test documents (textbooks, courses, journal papers, dissertations) provided more reliability. Conditional Generative Adversarial Nets (CGANs) need a significantly huge dataset with a detailed pixel-wise annotation to generate high-quality images. Unfortunately, any amount of missing pixel annotations may significantly impact the result not only locally, but also in annotated areas. To the best of our knowledge, such a challenge has never been investigated in the broader field of GANs. In this paper, we take the first step in this direction to study the problem of CGAN-based satellite image synthesis given partially annotated images. We first define the problem of image synthesis using partially annotated data, and we discuss a scenario in which we face such a challenge. We then propose an effective solution called detail augmentation to address this problem. To do so, we tested two different approaches to augment details to compensate for missing pixel-wise annotations. In the first approach, we augmented the original images with their Canny edges to using the CGAN to compensate for the missing annotations. The second approach, however, attempted to assign a color to all pixels with missing annotation. Eventually, a different CGAN was trained to translate the new feature images into a final output.

Satellite images often contain a significant level of sensitive data compared to ground-view images. That is why satellite images are more likely to be intentionally manipulated to hide specific objects and structures. GAN-based approaches have been employed to create forged images with two major problems: (i) adding a new object to the scene to hide a specific object or region may create unrealistic merging with surrounding areas; and (ii) using masks on color feature images has proven to be unsuccessful in GAN-based object removal. In this paper, we tackle the problem of object removal in high-resolution satellite images given a limited number of training data. Furthermore, we take advantage of conditional GANs (CGANs) to collect perhaps the first GAN-based forged satellite image data set. All forged instances were manipulated via CGANs trained by Canny Feature Images for object removal. As part of our experiments, we demonstrate that distinguishing the collected forged images from authentic (original) images is highly challenging for fake image detector models.
