BACKGROUND: Nearly half of adult acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patients were classified into cytogenetic normal acute myeloid leukemia (CN-AML). The expression level of Trophinin associated protein (TROAP) was proven to be associated with the prognosis of several cancers, but it is still unclear in the prognosis of patients with CN-AML. METHODS: We integrated CN-AML patient samples from 4 datasets to analyze the relationship between TROAP expression and the survival of CN-AML. In addition, we investigated 92 AML patients of The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database to analyze the relationship between TROAP expression and the survival of AML patients received chemotherapy. We investigated the relationship between the expression of TROAP and drug sensitivity in AML cell lines. RESULTS: CN-AML patients with high TROAP expression were related to good event-free survival (EFS) and overall survival (OS). In AML patients received chemotherapy, high TROAP expression was associated with good survival prognosis. Additionally, the expression of TROAP gene in leukemia stem cells (LSC) + group was lower. Among multiple drugs, the lower the expression of TROAP, the lower the IC50. CONCLUSION: TROAP could serve as an independent predictor of CN-AML patients and could act as a potential biomarker for the prognosis of CN-AML. TROAP expression levels were closely correlated with the drug sensitivity of multiple drugs.

Noble metal aerogels (NMAs), belonging to the porous material, have exhibited excellent catalytic performance. Although the synthesis method continues to improve, it still exists some problems which hindered the experimental process, such as high concentration of noble metal precursors, long synthesis cycle, expensive production cost, and uncontrollable ligament length. In this work, ultrasonic wave and reducing agent NaBH4 were simultaneously applied to gelation process. With the cavitation of ultrasound, it can generate huge energy with heating and stirring, thus gelation reaction proceeded quickly, and even completed the process in only a few seconds, that is much faster than the recorded. A wide concentration range was successfully expanded from 0.02 mmol/L to 62.5 mmol/L. Further, we extended this method to a variety of noble metal elements (Au, Ru, Rh, Ag, Pt, Pd), and this method is adaptive for the synthesis of single metal aerogels (Au, Ag, Ru, Rh, Pd), bimetal and trimetal aerogels (Au-Ag, Au-Rh, Au-Ru, Au-Pt, Au-Pd, Au-Pt-Pd). In addition, the ligament size of alloy aerogels are 10 nm or less. Moreover, their brilliant properties were demonstrated in hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) and ethanol oxidation reaction (EOR).

During the COVID-19 pandemic, people were advised to keep a social distance from others. People’s behaviors will also be noticed, such as lying down because of illness, regarded as abnormal conditions. This paper proposes a visual anomaly analysis system based on deep learning to identify individuals with various anomaly types. In the study, two types of anomaly detections are concerned. The first is monitoring the anomaly in the case of falling in an open public area. The second is measuring the social distance of people in the area to warn the individuals under a short distance. By implementing a deep model named You Only Look Once, the related anomaly can be identified accurately in a wide range of open spaces. Experimental results show that the detection accuracy of the proposed method is 91%. In the social distance, the actual social distance is calculated by calculating the plane distance to ensure that everyone can meet the specification. Integrating the two functions and implementing the environmental monitoring system will make it easier to monitor and manage the disease-related abnormalities on the site.

The difficulty to achieve rapid detection is the limitation of many enzyme-free sensors today. Thus, designing tri-functional sensors with ultra-fast and efficient determination is a challenging task in biological science. Herein, curly fish scales-like Ni2.5Mo6S6.7 active materials was anchored on poly (3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)-reduced graphene oxide (PEDOT-rGO) hybrid membranes with uneven surface (Ni2.5Mo6S6.7/PEDOT-rGO) as a high-performance tri-functional catalyst for glucose, nitrite and hydrogen peroxide determination. The sensor constructed under optimal conditions exhibited ultrafast response performance towards glucose and nitrite within 2 s, and hydrogen peroxide within 1 s. Meanwhile, it provided the wide linear range with a low detection limit towards glucose (as low as 0.001 mM and up to 15.000 mM, and 0.33 μM), nitrite (as low as 0.001 mM and up to 10.000 mM, and 0.33 µM) and hydrogen peroxide (from 0.010 mM to 7.000 mM, and 0.79 μM), respectively. In addition, the sensor demonstrated satisfied selectivity, repeatability, reproducibility and stability. Furthermore, the sensor has potential application in real samples. This study may provide a new strategy for the construction of tri-functional electrode materials with the ultra-fast response.

The development of cathode materials with a high electric conductivity and a low polarization effect is crucial for enhancing the electrochemical properties of magnesium-ion batteries (MIBs). Herein, Mo doping and nitrogen-doped tubular graphene (N-TG) introduction are carried out for decorating VS4 (Mo-VS4/N-TG) via the one-step hydrothermal method as a freestanding cathode for MIBs. The results of characterizations and density functional theory (DFT) reveal that rich sulfur vacancies are induced by Mo doping, and N-TG as a high conductive skeleton material serves to disperse the active material and forms a tight connection, all of which collectively improved the electrical conductivity of electrode and increased the adsorption energy of Mg2+ (-6.341 eV). Furthermore, the fast reaction kinetics is also confirmed by the galvanostatic intermittent titration technique (GITT) and the pesudocapacitance-like contribution analysis. Benefiting from the synergistic effect of electrical conductivity enhancement and rich vacancy introduction, Mo-VS4/N-TG delivers a steady Mg2+ storage specific capacity of about 140 mAh g-1 at 50 mA g-1, outstanding cycle stability (80.6% capacity retention ratio after 1200 cycles under 500 mA g-1), and excellent rate capability (specific capacity reaches 77.1 mAh g-1 when the current density reaches 500 mA g-1). In addition, the reversible reaction process, intercalation mechanism, and structural stability during the Mg2+ insertion/extraction process are confirmed by a series of ex situ characterizations. This research provides a sustainable and scalable strategy to spur the development of MIBs.

This paper completed the development status and working principle of the handling robot, analyzed the performance index parameters and system functional requirements of the robot, and proposed an overall design scheme of the handling robot control system. The mechanical structure design of the handling robot was developed, and the selection of the core components of the system was studied and designed in detail based on theoretical analysis and calculation. Secondly, this paper selected the STM32 microcontroller as the core of the handling robot. It completed the circuit schematic diagram of the systems, and investigated the selection of core sensors for the navigation and positioning module, obstacle avoidance module, and wireless communication module. Finally, this paper studied the automatic control part of the handling robot, which mainly included the modeling of the robot’s manipulator, PID control, and MATLAB simulation verification. In addition, the application prospect of the handling robot was explored. It had the advantages of high efficiency, strong practicability, and perfect function, and had certain practical significance in the application of the logistics industry.

It is an insurmountable challenge to synthesize carrier-supported ultra-small immiscible alloy catalyst with simple one-step method today. Here, we creatively report the first preparation of immiscible Ru-based alloys (RuRE-rGO NPs, RE=Gd, Er, Yb, La) with ~5 nm by solvent-free microwave reduction. Additionally, in alkaline electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution reaction (HER), RuGd-rGO NPs performed admirable (η=12 mV at 10 mA cm−2, TOF=30.6 H2 s-1 at 0.1 V), which also can be stable for 500 h even if it provides industry-related current density of 500 mA cm-2. Density functional theory further indicates that from initial to final state of the reaction, RuGd-rGO NPs have large exothermic energy (-1.34 eV), while the dissociation energy barrier of H2O is relatively low, causing the most likely occurrence of HER. This work provides sufficient space for the synthesis of ultra-small immiscible nano-alloy supported catalysts.

The critical prerequisite for realizing the industrial application of photocatalytic technology lies on developing efficient photocatalyst through reasonable and large-scale modification strategy. Herein, the rapid and solvent-free high-energy ball-milling procedure was adopted to modify graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4) on a large-scale by phosphorus (P) atom doping and molybdenum phosphide (MoP) decorating. It is confirmed that P doping can introduce a mid-gap state in the band gap of g-C3N4, broadening the light responsive region and enhancing the electrical conductivity of g-C3N4. The Mo N bond at the interface of P-doped g-C3N4 and MoP acting as electrons “delivery channels” facilitates the charge transfer from P-doped g-C3N4 to MoP, while the Schottky barrier promotes the separation of photocarriers. As a result, the optimized P-doped g-C3N4/MoP photocatalyst performs an improved H2 evolution rate of 4917.83 μmol·g−1·h−1 and a favorable H2 production stability. This work offers a replicable prototype on adopting high-energy ball-milling to modify photocatalyst.

Transition metal phosphide (TMP) is one of the most potential electrocatalysts for hydrogen evolution reaction (HER), whereas it is still immensely challenging to construct TMP-based catalyst that performs the excellent catalytic activity for both HER and oxygen evolution reaction (OER) through the proper regulation strategies. Herein, the morphology and interfacial charge regulation strategies were proposed to construct 3D flower-like Co@CoP2 heterostructure electrocatalyst grown in situ on copper foam (CF) for HER and OER. The influence of the phytic acid concentration on the product morphology and composition was systematic investigation. The flower-like Co@CoP2 Mott-Scottky heterostructure grown on CF (Co@CoP2/CF(1:1)) prepared under the optimal conditions shows the eminent electrocatalytic activity of HER with an overpotential of 55 mV and OER with an overpotential of 210 mV at a current density of 10 mA cm-2 in alkaline solution. Remarkably, Co@CoP2/CF(1:1)//Co@CoP2/CF(1:1) electrolyzer displays a prominent overall water splitting performance with a voltage of 1.54 V at the current density of 10 mA cm-2, and maintained excellent stability over a period of 100 h operating in 1 M KOH, which is superior to the almost all the reported non-noble-metal-based electrocatalysts. Various ex situ characterizations and density functional theory (DFT) calculations manifested that the superior electrocatalytic performance of Co@CoP2/CF (1:1) was attributed to high P content, more important, the unique flower-like morphology and the efficient regulation of interfacial charge drived by the Mott-Scottky effect. This work offers a universal regulation strategy for improve electrocatalytic activity, and opens up a new way for the exploitation of the efficient bifunctional electrocatalysts.
