The development of the business and industrial world (DUDI) demands an increase in hard skills, creativity and critical thinking from school graduates, including graduates of Vocational Schools. One of the efforts to achieve this is by implementing an freedom of Learn, where the learning process is constructivism which means student-centered learning. Furthermore, the understanding of a prospective educator related to the constructivism philosophy contained in the concept of independent learning must be improved first. This article will explain the philosophy of constructivism in the concept of freedom of Learn to develop understanding of prospective educators so they can implement it in vocational school learning. In this study the authors used the library research method, aiming to explore and collect relevant information and data from various sources obtained such as textbooks, dissertations, theses, research journals, research reports, documents of scientific discussion results, etc. Constructivism is defined as learning that emphasizes that knowledge is self-construction. Constructivism has an understanding of learning that emphasizes process rather than results and has the principle of student-centered learning, the teacher is only a facilitator and students discover more for themselves. This is very much in line with independent learning, students have the freedom to determine the knowledge they need by emphasizing the learning process. Prospective educators have an important role to play in building the competencies needed by students, these competencies are the 4C skills (critical thinking, communication, collaboration, creativity). Education that applies 4C skills and provides independence in thinking, digging for the truth, reasoning critically and seeing phenomena in students will form students with superior character who have adaptive abilities and are ready to face the industrial world.

Penerapan Aplikasi OPAC pada saat ini menjadi trend di dunia Pendidikan. Aplikasi OPAC suatu kebutuhan untuk metode sarana informasi koleksi buku di perpustakaan berbasis teknologi dimana kegiatan yang dilakukan mahasiswa mencari buku tidak langsung keperpustakaan tetapi bisa melalui Aplikasi OPAC untuk melihat koleksi perpustaankan dan mempermudah pengguna untuk mengakses kapan pun dan dimana pun tanpa adanya batasan waktu. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti manganalisis mengukur tingkat kepuasan pengguna OPAC yaitu anggota perpustakaan UNILAK mengunakan metode end user computing satusfaction dari variabel tersebut dapat dilihat bagaimana tingkat kepuasan pengguna anggota pustaka pada OPAC di Perpustakaan Unilak. Terdiri dari 5 variabel independen yaitu (conten, accuracy, format, ease of use dan timeliness) dan variabel dependen kepuasaan pengguna OPAC (Anggota Pustaka). Sampel didapat saat penelitian berjumlah 225 keseluruhan dan data dibagi menjadi 2 bagian penah mengunakan berjumlah 101 dan tidak pernah menggunakan 124 anggota pustaka. Dalam pengumpulan data kuesioner data yang diambil yang pernah menggunakan opac berjumlah 101, penyebaran menggunakan link google from untuk mencari responden. Hasil uji hipotesis di ajukan terdapat 1 variabel yang menunjukan hipotesis diterima dan mempengaruhi yang signifikan yaitu format. Variabel tidak memengaruhi kepuasan content, accuracy, ease of use dan timeliness

The main problem in this study is how to improve student learning outcomes by using the Problem Based Instruction (PBI) learning model. The purpose of this study is to improve student learning outcomes on network infrastructure administration material. The results of the initial condition research using interviews, observation and item analysis, class XI students of SMK N 2 Padang City as research subjects, have an average learning achievement score that is below the minimum completeness criteria (KKM). This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a procedural model developed by Kemmis and Mc. Taggart is a spiral research model that is commonly used and consists of two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely: 1) the planning stage 2) the acting stage, 3) the observing stage and 4) the reflection stage. The number of research subjects consisting of 22 students. From the research results, it was obtained data that the PBI model can improve learning outcomes in network infrastructure administration (AIJ). This is indicated by the value of the results given in the initial conditions, from 22 students, the results obtained were 55% of students who did not complete. After the action was taken in cycle 1, student learning outcomes increased to 50% of students who completed, and continued to increase in the second cycle, with a completeness percentage of 81%.

Perubahan teknologi dan perkembangan zaman yang terjadi saat ini telah mempengaruhi semua aspek pendidikan, termasuk pendidikan kejurua. Hal tersebut membuat Pendidikan kejuruan mengahadapi banyak masalah yang harus diselesaikan, sehingga diperlukan pembelajaran dari Pendidikan kejuruan pada negara-negara berkembang. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk membahas tentang perspektif teori yang komprehensif tentang filosofi, alasan dan sistem pendidikan kejuruan (TVET), yang mengacu pada perkembangan zaman. Artikel ini mengkaji tentang sejumlah faktor penting yang mempengaruhi alasan-alasan dan kemungkinan sistem yang diadopsi oleh TVET di negara-negara berkembang. Dalam konteks inilah makalah ini berfokus pada filosofi, alasan, dan struktur serta strategi terkait yang dianggap paling cocok untuk sistem TVET masa depan. Artikel ini menggunakan metode literatur review dengan mengkaji sebanyak 20 artikel nasional maupun internasional. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan pendidikan kejuruan (TVET) di negara-negara berkembang akan membutuhkan strategi untuk setiap negara yang mempertimbangkan konteks ekonomi, sosial dan politik yang unik dari negara yang bersangkutan. Sementara beberapa pelajaran dapat dipetik dari pengalaman negara-negara maju, adalah dari sumber gagasan dan pilihan kebijakan terbesar yang tersedia dari negara-negara berkembang itu sendiri. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pentingnya berbagi ide dan pengalaman serta berpartisipasi dalam usaha dan skema Kerjasama adalah hal yang tidak dapat diremehkan

Pendidikan mengambil peran penting dalam menentukan eksistensi bangsa dimasa depan. Dalam proses pelaksanaan pendidikan dibutuhkan strategi yang dapat mewujudkan cita-cita bangsa itu sendiri. Strategi pendidikan akan menentukan arah dan tujuan pendidikan. Salah satu caranya adalah dengan memanajemen kurikulum pendidikan secara efektif sebagai pedoman yang digunakan dalam mengukur dan menyesuaikan kebutuhan pasar tenaga kerja. Sumberdaya manusia yang lahir dari dunia pendidikan dengan manajemen kurikulum yang baik akan memberikan kontribusi maksimal terhadap pasar tenaga kerja. Teknik Elektronika Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Padang terus berupaya maksimal memberikan dedikasi terbaik untuk bangsa dengan memanajemen dan mengevaluasi kurikulum pendidikan secara berkala. Hal ini dibuktikan Teknik Elektronika Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Padang dengan melahirkan sumberdaya manusia yang berkompeten dibidangnya. Setiap lulusan dibekali dengan kompetensi berlisensi yang diakui oleh negara. Telah dilakukan survei lapangan di Jurusan Teknik Elektronika Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Padang selama calon alumni mempersiapkan berkas syarat kelulusannya. Hal ini sebagai wujud dedikasi Teknik Elektronika Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Padang untuk kemajuan bangsa dimasa yang akan datang.

This research is in the form of experimental research. The purpose of this study was to examine and see the effect of applying the ASSURE model and prior knowledge on the results of Simulation and Digital Communication subjects at the SMK. The population involved in this study were students majoring in Computer and Network Engineering class X SMKN 3 Pariaman, where class A was the experimental class and class B was the control class. These two classes were also divided into two groups, high and low prior knowledge. This study uses a 2x2 factorial design. Hypothesis testing using two-way ANOVA test. The results obtained are that (1) the learning model has a significant effect on learning outcomes, the ASSURE model gets a higher score than the conventional learning model, (2) prior knowledge has a significant effect on learning outcomes, higher prior knowledge gets a higher score than the conventional learning model. which is low, and (3) there is no interaction between the learning model and prior knowledge on learning outcomes. The N-Gain test showed that high prior knowledge in the ASSURE learning model got the highest improvement results and low prior knowledge from conventional classes got the lowest results.

Mahasiswa yang masuk ke jurusan Teknik Mesin Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Padang dari siswa yang berasal dari SMA dan SMK. Bagi mahasiswa yang berasal dari SMA menjadi kendala dalam mengikuti praktikum pada matakuliah Fabrikasi. Faktor wabah Covid 19 yang mengakibatkan pembelajaran Praktikum tidak bisa dilakukan luring sepenuhnya. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini maka perlu dilakukan pengembangan Video Pembelajaran Fabrikasi untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan hasil praktikum. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk melihat Evektivitas Video Pembelajaran Praktikum pada Mata Kuliah Fabrikasi di Jurusan Teknik Mesin. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development. Model pengembangan modul pembelajaran ini menggunakan model IDI (Instruksional Development Institute). Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 20 mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian ini adalah Rata-rata hasil preetest yaitu 38,29 dan rata-rata hasil postest adalah 92,31. Dengan hasil tersebut video pembelajaran praktik pada Mata Kuliah Fabrikasi di Jurusan Teknik Mesin dapat di sumpulkan efektif untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

This study aims to determine the effect of the problem based learning model on learning outcomes and skills in Motorcycle Engineering courses for D3 Automotive Engineering students, Faculty of Engineering, Padang State University. The research method used is an experiment with a modified pretest-posttest group research design. The sampling technique used is cluster random sampling, with Group 1 as the experimental class and Group 2 as the control class. The analytical technique used is the average difference test, analysis of the influence between variables, and determination of the coefficient of determination. The results of the study obtained that the average learning outcomes and motorcycle engineering skills in the experimental class was 89.56 while the control class was 81.54. The analysis of the influence between variables resulted in a biserial coefficient of 0.59 for learning outcomes and 0.44 for Motorcycle Engineering skills. The calculation of the coefficient of determination shows that the application of the problem based learning model contributes 35.00% to learning outcomes and 19.34% to Motorcycle Engineering skills. The relationship between Motorcycle Engineering skills and learning outcomes in problem based learning model learning is 31.69%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of the problem based learning model affects the learning outcomes and skills of Motorcycle Engineering students of D3 Automotive Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Padang State University on CVT Maintenance material.Keywords: learning outcomes, Motorcycle Engineering skills, problem based learning

The purpose of this study is to understand the influence between leadership style, organizational culture, and self-concept on the trainers’ performance at the Vocational Training Institutions in Batam. These factors are contributing a lot to the successive performance of the students, trainers, and institutions. However, this study only gives framework to the performance of the trainers. Improving trainers’ performance will lead to the improvement of training or educational operation. Some methods such as interviews, observations and questionnaires were used to collect the data. There were 82 trainers selected as respondents to fill the questionnaires, and the data obtained were analyzed using SPSS program. Statistical test methods such as prerequisite analytical tests, t-test, F-test, multiple linear regressions, and coefficients determination. The results give conclusion that there is significant effect and correlation between the leadership styles, organizational cultures, and self-concept on the trainers’ performance at the Vocational Training Institutions in Batam.

This study aims to design android-based learning media using the Mit App Inventor Web application in workshop work subjects and engineering drawings for class X industrial electronics engineering at SMA Negeri 1 West Sumatra. This type of research is using the Richey and Klein method which is the development of Desigh and Development (D&D). Richey and Klein stated a focus on design, production, and evaluation. The types of data in this study are quantitative data and qualitative data. The research instrument in the form of a questionnaire used to obtain data regarding the level of feasibility and practicality of learning media. This questionnaire was filled with two material experts, two media experts, and students' responses on a limited test basis. The results of this study are an assessment & user of the feasibility of learning media according to the two material experts using homogeneous 95.45% media experts using homogeneous 86.15% category "Very Valid". Evaluation and users according to students' responses in a limited test using homogeneity are 86.27% of the "Very Practical" category.

Efforts to improve the quality of education continue to be carried out by the government, one form of this effort is the development and review of the curriculum so that it is under the times. Several factors underlie curriculum development, including philosophical, psychological, socio-cultural, political, state development and world development, and science and technology (IPTEK) foundations. The process of changing the curriculum in various countries cannot be adapted to the political conditions in that country, therefore the educational curriculum may change at any time according to the political conditions that affect the country concerned. This study aims to analyze and describe the influence of politics on curriculum development in the National Education System. This research is qualitative research using a literature study approach. Furthermore, data were collected through document study.

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya media yang memadai dalam pembelajaran Konstruksi Jalan dan Jembatan di SMK Negeri 4 Pariaman. Penelitian ini tujuannya adalah untuk membuat suatu media pembelajaran Slide Presentasi berbasis Canva yang valid dan praktis. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan Four-D (4D). Adapun tahap pengembangan 4D yaitu, 1) Define, 2) Design, 3) Development dan 4) Disseminate. Hasil pengolahan data menyebutkan bahwa tingkat validitas media pembelajaran Slide Presentasi berbasis Canva berdasarkan penilaian dari ahli materi dan ahli media adalah sangat valid. Tingkat praktikalitas berdasarkan penilaian dari siswa dan guru mata pelajaran Konstruksi Jalan dan Jembatan adalah sangat praktis untuk digunakan sebagai media yang dapat menunjang pembelajaran Konstruksi Jalan dan Jembatan.

Permasalahan pada penelitian ini adalah belum adanya implementasi media pembelajaran permainan yang efektif dan menarik dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar yang berlangsungdi SMK Negeri 01 Kota Bengkulu yang mengakibatkan belum optimalnya hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran permainan dan menghasilkan media yang valid, praktis dan efektif pada mata pelajaran MIPA (Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam) untuk siswa kelas X PPLG (Pengembangan Perangkat Lunak dan Game) di SMK Negeri 01 Kota Bengkulu.Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Research and Development (R&D), dengan model pengembangan 4-D. Prosedur pengembangan 4-D yaitu Define (Pendefinisian), Design (Perancangan), Development (Pengembangan) dan Disseminate (Penyebaran). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dengan mendekripsikan kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan pada media pembelajaran permainan yang dikembangkan.Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian pengembangan ini adalah media pembelajaran permainan monopoli berbasis Android. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa media yang dikembangkan dinyatakan valid pada aspek media 88%, aspek materi dengan hasil sebesar 95%. Media yang dikembangkan praktis dengan nilai kepraktisan dari respon guru dengan hasil sebesar 97,92% dan respon siswa 85,50%, serta media pembelajaran permainan berbasis Android yang dihasilkan efektif digunakan dengan hasil posttest dilihat dari ketuntasan klasikan siswa sebesar 87,5% dan nilai gain score sebesar 0,32 dengan kategori sedang. Kesimpulannya adalah media pembelajaran berbasis Android yang dikembangkan dapat digunakan dan layak pada proses pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.
